However, its applications in polymer compounds are limited due to the PTFE’s inherent poor chemical reactivity, low wettability and poor adhesion with other polymers preventing the establishment of good interfacial bonding. To overcome this, the work introduces plasma treatment of PTFE micropowders in a low-pressure 2.45 GHz microwave plasma reactor, using NH3 and H2 as process gasses

These properties include its non-adhesiveness and non-brittleness at low temperature, low outgassing rate in vacuum, and inherent self-lubrication. PTFE is ablated and ionized under the action of the discharge arc, and the products are accelerated and ejected from the thruster under the combined action of the Lorentz force and aerodynamic force, thus generating thrust. Due to factors such as propellant ablation lag, the utilization efficiency of PTFE is very low,

Lease and Jones. PR-266-12213-R01 Minimizing Gas Compressor Lubricating Oil Consumption. Pipeline Research Council International, Inc. (PRCI), 2013. http://dx.doi.org/10.55274/r0010085.

Abstract:
One of the main sources of fouling in pipelines is related to the use of lubrication (and possibly over-lubrication) in reciprocating compressors. In addition to the obvious cost of lubricants, there are also many hidden costs associated with reciprocating compressor lubrication. Some of these hidden costs include disposal of collected oil, gas storage field contamination, scrubber cleaning, and loss of general pipeline efficiency. Minimizing reciprocating gas compressor lubrication oil consumption can address these costs while at the same time reducing the negative environmental impact associ

Abstract:

Abstract:
