Friction stir welding (FSW) of steel is often performed with an insert made of polycrystalline cubic boron nitride (PCBN). Specifically, MS80 is a grade of PCBN made by Smith MegaDiamond that has been optimized for the FSW process. The PCBN insert is attached to a tungsten carbide (WC) shank by a compression fitting. However, FSW tools manufactured by this method inevitably fail by fracture in the PCBN. T Cell Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase (TC-PTP) and Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase (PTP)-1B are two closely related enzymes involved in the regulation of cytokine signalling. While tcptp-/- mice display a wide range of hematopoietic defects and die within three to five weeks after birth, ptp1b-/- mice are healthy and show no apparent immune phenotype; nevertheless, in vitro results suggest that both enzymes negatively regulate interferon signalling. The diploma thesis deals with conventional transformers and current and voltage sensors. The first half of thesis describes mainly the basic concepts and accuracy classes of these converters used in electrical substations. The emphasis is given primarily on the differences. In the second half of thesis is presented an exact type of converters, which are installed in the substation Medlánky. There is an analysis of measured data from long – term monitoring from this substation and comparing the results from conventional transformers compared to the results from more modern sensors.

In addition to MC activation via the antigen/IgE receptor FcεR1, MC tissue recruitment and responsiveness is greatly enhanced by co-stimulation with the stem cell factor (SCF). PTP-PEST is a soluble intracellular phosphatase that is ubiquitously expressed in mammalian tissues. The physiological roles of PTPα in insulin and N M D A receptor (NMDAR) signaling were investigated using gene-targeted mice deficient in PTPα. PTPα [sup -/-] animals had normal body weights and circulating levels of glucose and insulin. In glucose and insulin tolerance tests, their efficiency o f blood glucose clearance was comparable to wild-type mice. Kinetics and extents o f insulin-stimulated insulin receptor and IRS-1 tyrosine phosphorylation were similar in wild-type and PTPα [sup -/-] liver, muscle, and adipose tissue. Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) specific T cells control EBV-driven proliferation of infected B cells in vivo. Deficient EBV immunity predisposes to post-transplant lymphoproliferative disease (PTLD) and EBV-positive Hodgkin's disease (HD). Treatment for PTLD is reduction in immunosuppression (RIS) allowing EBV immune recovery. Current methods of monitoring RIS include immunophenotyping for increases in MHC Class IICD8 T cells, but this is not a specific measure of EBV immunity.
