This paper studies the determinants of trading volume and liquidity of corporate bonds. Using transactions data from a comprehensive dataset of insurance company trades, our analysis covers more than 17,000 US corporate bonds of 4,151 companies over a five-year period prior to the introduction of TRACE. Our transactions data show that a variety of issue- and issuer-specific characteristics impact corporate bond liquidity. Among these, the most economically important determinants of bond trading volume are the bond’s issue size and age — trading volume declines substantially as bonds become sea

Findings indicate that geography of the portfolio company matters, that non high-tech portfolio companies go public faster than do those in the computer-related sector, and that speed is increased with the recent favorable IPO market but not

Environmental policy is a relatively young science that originated in the late 60's and early 70's. The term environmental policy is used not only to describe national, international, global, regional or local environmental policy. Today, environmental policy is formulated by a number of other entities, primarily political parties, but also entities of the business sphere or the public sector. The Industrial Revolution is considered to be a fundamental milestone in the dynamics of human society's development, scope and manner of use and disruption of the environment and its functions. Abstract The scope of this paper is to use publicly and privately sourced data to compare openhole versus cased hole completion techniques and injection results in select Ohio Class II saltwater injection wells (SWIW). The vast majority of the SWIWs drilled in Ohio the past 10 years have been completed openhole, typically by drilling to total depth and then carefully selecting a large diameter greater than 7-inch casing shoe depth and cementing casing above the Cambrian-Ordovician age reservoirs. That allows for 1,000 feet plus of openhole and multiple targets for injection. There have been su

International value of retail sale of live coral trade alone is estimated as $78 million in 1997 (not including the illegally, widely smuggled material). This study examines curb planning and management from several angles, such as safety, social equity, and multimodal connections. However, there are no widely accepted methods, nor there is enough evidence to justify whether such plans are instrumental in improving mobility of the transportation system.
