Dutta, Bidyarthi, Krishnapada Majumder, and B. K. Sen. "Classification of Keywords Extracted from Research Articles Published in Science Journals." National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources, 2008. http://hdl.handle.net/10150/105938.

Full text
Abstract:
This paper is based on an analytical study of 335 keywords extracted from titles and abstracts of 70 research articles, taking ten from each year starting from 2000 to 2006, in decreasing order of relevance, on the subject Fermi Liquid, which is a specific subject under the broad area of Condensed Matter Physics. The research articles have been collected from the bibliographic database of INSPEC. The keywords are indexed to critically examine its physical structure that is composed of three fundamental kernels, viz. keyphrase, modulator and qualifier. The keyphrase reflects the central concept, which is usually post-coordinated by the modulator to amend the central concept in accordance with the relevant context. The qualifier comes after the modulator to describe the particular state of the central concept and/or amended concept. The keywords are further classified in 16 classes on the basis of the four parameters, viz. Associativeness, chronological appearance, frequency of occurrence and category. The taxonomy of keywords will enable to analyze research-trend of a subject and to identify potential research-areas of a subject.

This study aimed to analyze the penetration of critical environmental education in articles published in ANPEd – National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Education – in the period between 2005 and 2013. To reach the goal of the research work published in the period cited above were classified according to its theme axis. In all, 27 themes were identified, most of the works entered in the axis entitled critical environmental education. Thus it focused on the analysis of it. The theoretical framework was built from the Henry Leff work. The methodology used in this analysis was built from the propositions of Bardin, in the case of carrying a qualitative analysis built through content analysis. As for the results it was noticeable that the articles analyzed are presented critically by category of analysis that were used as well as the compatibility of the theoretical framework adopted. Articles proved consistent with no contradictions in their speeches. However some limitations in intellectual production investigated could be identified. Among these limitations we can highlight the lack of dialogue with the classics of the environmental education field as well as the lack of depth in discussions of concepts.

Stafford, Mehary T. "Effect Size Reporting and Interpreting Practices in Published Higher Education Journal Articles." Thesis, University of North Texas, 2016. https://digital.library.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metadc862849/.

Full text
Abstract:
Data-driven decision making is an integral part of higher education and it needs to be rooted in strong methodological and statistical practices. Key practices include the use and interpretation of effect sizes as well as a correct understanding of null hypothesis significance testing (NHST). Therefore, effect size reporting and interpreting practices in higher education journal articles represent an important area of inquiry. This study examined effect size reporting and interpretation practices of published quantitative studies in three core higher education journals: Journal of Higher Education, Review of Higher Education, and Research in Higher Education. The review covered a three-year publication period between 2013 and 2015. Over the three-year span, a total of 249 articles were published by the three journals. The number of articles published across the three years did not vary appreciably. The majority of studies employed quantitative methods (71.1%), about a quarter of them used qualitative methods (25.7%), and the remaining 3.2% used mixed methods. Seventy-three studies were removed from further analysis because they did not feature any quantitative analyses. The remaining 176 quantitative articles represented the sample pool. Overall, 52.8% of the 176 studies in the final analysis reported effect size measures as part of their major findings. Of the 93 articles reporting effect sizes, 91.4% of them interpreted effect sizes for their major findings. The majority of studies that interpreted effect sizes also provided a minimal level of interpretation (60.2% of the 91.4%). Additionally, 26.9% of articles provided average effect size interpretation, and the remaining 4.3% of studies provided strong interpretation and discussed their findings in light of previous studies in their field.

Bal, Betul. "Analysis of Four-word Lexical Bundles in Published Resesarch Articles Written by Turkish Scholars." Digital Archive @ GSU, 2010. http://digitalarchive.gsu.edu/alesl_theses/2.

Full text
Abstract:
This study investigated the use of lexical bundles in research articles written in English by Turkish scholars. For the purpose of the study, a corpus of published research articles produced by Turkish scholars in six different academic disciplines was collected. The four-word lexical bundles that appeared at least twenty times in this one million word corpus were identified and further analyzed both structurally and functionally based on the previous taxonomies developed by Biber, Johansson, Leech, Conrad and Finegan (1999) and Biber, Conrad and Cortes (2004). The results of this study revealed that the lexical bundles found have structural correlates as well as strong functional features that help to construct discourse in academic writing. The conclusions drawn from this study could be applied to the teaching of academic genres to researchers in English as a Foreign Language context and are expected to provide insights for further corpus-based studies in academic writing.

Abstract:
Some approaches to Open Access (OA) use authors' manuscript copies for the OA version, in the form accepted after peer review but prior to full editing. Advocates of such approaches are certain that these versions differ only trivially from the publishers' versions; many of those who oppose them are equally certain that there can be major discrepancies. In a pilot study, we have examined the actual differences in a small number of such article pairs in the social sciences and in biology. Using an operational classification of the extent of error, we have determined that neither pronouncement is likely to be correct. We found numerous small differences that affect readability between open access and publishers' versions. We also found a low frequency of potentially confusing errors, but sometimes it was the publisher's and sometimes the manuscript version that was more accurate. We found two cases where errors introduced by the publisher omit technical details that are necessary to evaluate the validity of the conclusions. However, we found no error that actually affected the validity of the data or results.

Full text
Abstract:
This study investigates a range of metrics available when an article is published to see which metrics associate with its eventual citation count. The purposes are to contribute to developing a citation model and to inform policymakers about which predictor variables associate with citations in different fields of science. Despite the complex nature of reasons for citation, some attributes of a paper’s authors, journal, references, abstract, field, country and institutional affiliations, and funding source are known to associate with its citation impact. This thesis investigates some common factors previously assessed and some new factors: journal author internationality; journal citing author internationality; cited journal author internationality; cited journal citing author internationality; impact of the author(s), publishing journal, affiliated institution, and affiliated country; length of paper; abstract and title; number of references; size of the field; number of authors, institutions and countries; abstract readability; and research funding. A sample of articles and proceedings papers in the 22 Essential Science Indicators subject fields from the Web of Science constitute the research data set. Using negative binomial hurdle models, this study simultaneously assesses the above factors using large scale data. The study found very similar behaviours across subject categories and broad areas in terms of factors associating with more citations. Journal and reference factors are the most effective determinants of future citation counts in most subject domains. Individual and international teamwork give a citation advantage in majority of subject areas but inter-institutional teamwork seems not to contribute to citation impact.

O'Neill, Deirdre. "New values and selectivity in the construction of news : commentary on peer-reviewed published research articles." Thesis, University of Huddersfield, 2017. http://eprints.hud.ac.uk/id/eprint/34426/.

Full text
Abstract:
This Commentary critically appraises my body of work over 15 years, the starting and end points being an exploration of the news values underlying the selection of news carried out 15 years apart, via various case study research articles that examine the type and quality of news that audiences receive. This body of work interrogates – from a range of perspectives – the ways in which some voices are privileged in the press, others are marginalised, while still others are absent in the news. I explore these issues from the perspective of the selection of news, through news values and source selection; how journalists develop those values and use sources to shape the news; the manner in which labour disputes are reported and trade union officials and members are legitimised or delegitimised; the extent to which celebrities are adopted and promoted in the news; how the views and achievements of women politicians are reported; and whether women have made headway in sports news, both in terms of the coverage of women athletes and in sports writing. The Commentary contextualises this body of work within both critical theoretical perspectives and rapid cultural, technical and social changes to situate the nine publications submitted for the degree to make clear the coherent nature of my inquiries. In this research I have maintained a contemporary analytical approach that suggests that the processes by which sources are chosen and news is selected undermines the plurality of voices in the press; that previous understandings of news values are outdated and that news values change over time and need to be revisited; that independent reporting is limited and a great deal of news relies on press subsidies with vested interests; and that ideological factors are frequently being played out in the news we receive. All of these findings have negative implications for the range and quality of our news. My findings have contributed to national and international debates about the news media, including an All-Party Parliamentary Report into Women in Parliament, challenged taken-for granted views about the news we receive and questioned the quality and bias of our news. The research has been disseminated nationally and internationally at leading conferences and in international journals and books, and in press articles, and is widely cited.

Mayes, Robin James. "A Content Originality Analysis of HRD Focused Dissertations and Published Academic Articles using TurnItIn Plagiarism Detection Software." Thesis, University of North Texas, 2017. https://digital.library.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metadc984233/.

Full text
Abstract:
This empirical exploratory study quantitatively analyzed content similarity indices (potential plagiarism) from a corpus consisting of 360 dissertations and 360 published articles. The population was defined using the filtering search criteria human resource development, training and development, organizational development, career development, or HRD. This study described in detail the process of collecting content similarity analysis (CSA) metadata using Turnitin software (www.turnitin.com). This researcher conducted robust descriptive statistics, a Wilcoxon signed-rank statistic between the similarity indices before and after false positives were excluded, and a multinomial logistic regression analysis to predict levels of plagiarism for the dissertations and the published articles. The corpus of dissertations had an adjusted rate of document similarity (potential plagiarism) of M = 9%, (SD = 6%) with 88.1% of the dissertations in the low level of plagiarism, 9.7% in the high and 2.2% in the excessive group. The corpus of published articles had an adjusted rate of document similarity (potential plagiarism) of M = 11%, (SD = 10%) with 79.2% of the published articles in the low level of plagiarism, 12.8% in the high and 8.1% in the excessive group. Most of the difference between the dissertations and published articles were attributed to plagiarism-of-self issues which were absent in the dissertations. Statistics were also conducted which returned a statistically significant justification for employing the investigative process of removing false positives, thereby adjusting the Turnitin results. This study also found two independent variables (reference and word counts) that predicted dissertation membership in the high (.15-.24) and excessive level (.25-1.00) of plagiarism and published article membership in the excessive level (.25-1.00) of plagiarism. I used multinomial logistic regression to establish the optimal prediction model. The multinomial logistic regression results for the dissertations returned a Nagelkerke pseudo R2 of .169 and for the published articles a Nagelkerke pseudo R2 .095.

Abstract:
Catastrophes, be it natural or not, have always served as a time to reform, a time to awaken slumbering ideas and notions or simply a time to be taken advantage of. Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in Wuhan in December 2019 and later in Sweden at the end of January 2020 there have been several actors who took advantage of the situation to benefit their own agenda. The purpose of this paper is to study to what extent the content of articles published by Sveriges Television, Swedish Television, between March 29th and April 2nd 2020 have a populist tendency. A search parameter based on the factors such as: timeframe, searchable keywords are utilised to create a dataset from which the study can conduct its analysis. The keywords are describing the operationalisation of the theoretical framework. Furthermore, the analysis of the dataset aims to determine whether the crisis is in fact being exploited. This is achieved by utilising theory on populism to form themes that through a directed content analysis can provide insight. The findings of the thesis are that out of the 226 articles published during the period 34,9% showed a populist tendency. However, a manual sorting of the articles with a populist tendency followed, to sort out the articles where the issue was in themselves unrelated to COVID-19. An analysis of these articles was conducted using the themes and questionnaire, the result from this analysis indicated that an exploitation of the crisis had occurred. Further research on the subject could for example expand its horizons beyond the Swedish borders, especially considering the difference in strategic approaches between Sweden and the rest of the world. Such studies would possibly require either a more quantitative approach or a greater number of researchers or data programme that could handle the amount of data that would be required to conduct the analysis.

Abstract:
This thesis examines Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald’s writing published between 1920 and 1932. To date, biographers and scholars have largely failed to carefully examine and understand Zelda’s publications. During this period Zelda critiques the materialism and generational lack of respect she finds in the North in her articles, while using her imagination to discuss the possibilities of the South in her short stories. All of her works during these years culminate in her novel, Save Me the Waltz, in which much of her life and return to the South is mirrored by her heroine, Alabama Knight. This thesis examines Zelda’s publications in this 1920 to 1932 period in order to reveal her perception of the society she had become a part of when she married F. Scott Fitzgerald and to understand the transition in her desire to at first fit in to the Northern society that expected her to be the flapper and celebrity wife, and then later to find success and self-expression in a return to the South.

Abstract:
The so-called refugee crisis was among the most significant events affecting European political and social structures during the previous decade. Previous research proves that the questions regarding refugee reception had instigated a rise of ethno-nationalistic and exclusionary sentiments across Europe. The Polish context has been a clear example. This study aims to analyze the ways in which Polish media produced and reproduced the discourse pertaining to the refugee crisis and subsequently the perceived representation of refugees. Based on the review of literature and theories of discourse, mediatization, politicization and Othering, selected mainstream media articles from 2014 to 2017 were analyzed. The findings illustrate that an exclusionary discourse and Islamophobic notions were prevalent during this period. Moreover, the results indicate that a discursive shift regarding the representation of refugees has occurred, significantly altering the manner in which Polish society perceives both refugees and the refugee crisis more generally.

Francisco, Luiz Augusto Hayne. "Análise dos fatores que afetam a produção científica brasileira : um estudo econométrico." reponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações da UFRGS, 2018. http://hdl.handle.net/10183/180995.

Abstract:
This work has purposed a study that placed at the core of the debate the Brazilian scientific production. It starts from the principle that scientific production is a key factor in a development process from the recognition that it is through knowledge that societies evolve. This question becomes even more relevant when considering the necessity imposed by the current production model, to transform knowledge into wealth. This was the starting point for leading an econometric study for the aim of formulating a model to explain the Brazilian scientific production from 1994 to 2014. The study shows that postgraduate programs were those that, statiscally, most influenced the behavior of the publication of Brazilian scientific articles. This last was the variable that represented the Brazilian scientific production in the econometric model. Therefore, it is necessary to equip the Brazilian postgraduate system to create the basis of a structure, which, in the near future, will produce knowledge in large scale and with high competitiveness. It was concluded that the economic crisis that occurred in the period did not directly interfere in the process of knowledge generation in the short term. Other important factors that helped maintaining scientific production in the country were the solid academic structure and the role of public policies that intervened in critical economic moments to break the economic cycle and to reduce the effects of the crisis.

Fischer, Manfred M., and Martin Reismann. "A methodology for neural spatial interaction modeling." Wiley-Blackwell, 2002. http://epub.wu.ac.at/5491/1/NeuralSpaital.pdf.

Full text
Abstract:
This paper attempts to develop a mathematically rigid and unified framework for neural spatial interaction modeling. Families of classical neural network models, but also less classical ones such as product unit neural network ones are considered for the cases of unconstrained and singly constrained spatial interaction flows. Current practice appears to suffer from least squares and normality assumptions that ignore the true integer nature of the flows and approximate a discrete-valued process by an almost certainly misrepresentative continuous distribution. To overcome this deficiency we suggest a more suitable estimation approach, maximum likelihood estimation under more realistic distributional assumptions of Poisson processes, and utilize a global search procedure, called Alopex, to solve the maximum likelihood estimation problem. To identify the transition from underfitting to overfitting we split the data into training, internal validation and test sets. The bootstrapping pairs approach with replacement is adopted to combine the purity of data splitting with the power of a resampling procedure to overcome the generally neglected issue of fixed data splitting and the problem of scarce data. In addition, the approach has power to provide a better statistical picture of the prediction variability, Finally, a benchmark comparison against the classical gravity models illustrates the superiority of both, the unconstrained and the origin constrained neural network model versions in terms of generalization performance measured by Kullback and Leibler's information criterion.

Abstract:
博士<br>淡江大學<br>產業經濟學系博士班<br>99<br>This study focuses on scholarly collaborations. It is well known that scholarly collaborations increase research productivity in term of published articles, and improve quality of articles. There has been a significant increase in international science and technology (S&T) cooperation over recent decades. Moreover, the rate of scholarly collaborated papers has an increasing time trend. This study notes that collaboration knowledge networking and co-authorship have affected regional knowledge productivity and publications quality. Literature review is presented in chapter two of this study. It has three subsections: collaboration in publication, collaboration on productivity, and quality of publication. It is noted that the number of scholarly collaboration in published papers have increased dramatically since the Second World War. Scholarly collaborations have increased in time trend in any countries. Scholarly collaboration is conducive to productivity of publication. Finally, scholarly collaboration improves quality of publication. In chapter three, we take a brief review of S&T situation, and co-authorship in China. Here, we use two databases (the Statistical Yearbook on Science and Technology in China, and the Science Citation Index Expanded) to overview co-authorship in China. We investigate the research expenditure and the number of full-time researchers in high education by using The Statistical Yearbook on Science and Technology. Furthermore, the co-authorship and publications of SCI databases in China is investigated. In chapter four, we focus on the relationship between scholarly collaboration (co-authorship) and publications and take the published articles in China as a case study. Due to our empirical evidences, the regions with higher relation networks enjoy higher knowledge productivity in terms of published articles. As main findings, the greater the number of co-authored articles that a region has, the greater the number of publications a region has. The quality of publications and its relation to collaboration is presented in chapter five. The main purpose of this chapter is to investigate the relationships that exist between regional publication quality levels and scholarly collaborations in China. We find that the regions with higher rate of co-authorship enjoy higher degree of knowledge spillover in terms of better quality of published articles. Especially, we find that an increase in the frequency of international co-authorship results in higher quality of articles. Furthermore, we also find that researcher intensity, knowledge base and physical capital have positive significant impacts on the quality of articles. To sum up, through scholarly collaborations, scholar can enjoy knowledge spillover in order to improve his/her research skills by exchange tacit knowledge. Using China’s data to test our hypotheses, we find that scholarly collaboration has a positive impact on research productivity and quality of articles.

碩士<br>銘傳大學<br>應用中國文學系碩士在職專班<br>97<br>Abstract Given the strategic location, the Kinmen Islands have long been a military stronghold in the southeastern China since 17th century. Especially during the late 1940s and throughout the 1950s, in the peak of the conflicts between Chiang Kai-shek’s Chinese Nationalist Government and the Communist China, these islands were serving as outposts for Chiang’s army and thus being placed under martial law governing until 1992. Such geo-political environment and historic background have helped to shape the children’s literature in Kinmen into a very unique style. Nevertheless, there has been little documentation, nor systematic research, on the development of children’s literature in Kinmen. This inadequacy has greatly hindered the studies for those who are interested in writing or teaching children’s literature. Therefore, in this thesis, it is the author’s wish to outline the track of children’s literature development in Kinmen during the period of 1992 and 2005 and fill in the gap of similar studies in the past, if there was any. In addition to examining locally published books and newspaper articles designed for children’s reading, this thesis will also try to review private and public sector campaign promoting children’s literature as well as teaching literature to elementary school students in the Kinmen County in a timeframe since the lifting of martial law ruling in 1992 through 2005. This dissertation contains six chapters. The first chapter is a brief introduction of the purpose of the study, methodology and research procedures utilized, and literature review. The following chapter will outline the background of children’s literature in Kinmen and its development since the lifting of martial law in 1992. The third and fourth chapters will discuss the impacts of the lifting of martial law and the reform of public education on children’s literature, and introduce some exceptional works for children’s reading. The fifth chapter will analyze the challenges and opportunities surrounding the development of children’s literature in Kinmen, and try to provide some suggestions. And a conclusion will be drawn in the sixth and final chapter. In conclusion, the author sincerely wishes that this thesis will serve as a stepping stone for the study of Kinmen children’s literature, and be able to attribute more or less to the teaching of literatures to school children of this county. Furthermore, the materials and publications gathered during the research for this dissertation hopefully will provide a foundation towards the building of an archive for Kinmen children’s literature and teaching auxiliaries to local grade school teachers. Finally, the author would like to see more educators enlighten our younger generations, help them to better understand their community and the world, through literatures, and also devote to the preservation of the unique nature of Kinmen children’s literature. Key Words: Kinmen, Kinmen County, lifting of martial law, children’s literature, study of children’s literature

Abstract:
碩士<br>國立臺北教育大學<br>兒童英語教育學系碩士班<br>102<br>Cross-cultural variations in writing conventions have been shown to have influence on L2 writing. Previous studies have indicated that there were similarities and differences in the use of move and verb tense in English research article (RA) abstracts written by native English writers (NEWs) and by non-native English writers (NNEWs). Furthermore, the factor of the speech communities sharing the same L1 may be a variable leading to variations in L2 writing. This study investigates the similarities and differences in the use of moves and verb tenses in English abstracts written by Taiwanese and Chinese researchers in L2 research article abstracts related to Applied Linguistics published in Taipei and Peking respectively, in reference to those written by native English writers. The corpus was composed of 50 English RA abstracts published in the U.S.A by NEWs, 50 English RA abstracts published in Taiwan, and 50 English RA abstracts published in Peking. Chi-square tests were used to examine the similarities and differences in the use of move and verb tense among the three groups. The results revealed similarities and differences in the use of move among the three groups. In terms of frequency and sequence of moves, Purpose, Method, Results and Conclusion were considered obligatory (above 50%) by the three groups, while Introduction move was considered optional by NNEWs from Peking, but obligatory to NEWs and NNEWs from Taiwan. The most favorite move pattern used in NEWs was four-move pattern, followed by three-move, five-move, two-move, and one-move structure was not found in the abstracts; the most frequently used move pattern used in NNEWs from Taiwan was four-move pattern, followed by five-move, three-move, two-move, and one-move; the most predominately used move pattern in NNEWs from Peking was three-move, four-move, two-move, five-move, and one-move. The most frequently used move pattern was Purpose-Method-Results-Conclusion in NEWs, Introduction-Purpose-Method-Results-Conclusion in NNEWs from Taiwan, and Purpose-Results-Conclusion in NNEWs from Peking. Furthermore, in the use of verb tense, all the three groups had various preferences in the choice of verb tenses associated with specific function in different moves. In the Introduction move, three groups tended to use present tense; in the Purpose move, three groups tended to employ present tense; In the Method move, NEWs and NNEWs from Taiwan tended to adapt past tense, while NNEWs from Peking tended to use present tense; in the Results move, NEWs and NNEWs from Taiwan tended to use past tense, while NNEWs from Peking tended to employ present tense; in the Conclusion move, three groups tended to use present tense. The results suggested that NNEWs from Taiwan displayed more similarities to NEWs in the use of move and verb tenses in English RA abstracts than NNEWs from Peking. The findings of the current study can serve as valuable references for cross-cultural and cross-regional research in Applied Linguistics, and offer pedagogical implications for the teaching of L2 research writing.

Abstract:
碩士<br>國立中正大學<br>犯罪防治碩士在職專班<br>106<br>Article 185-3 of The Criminal Code of the Republic of China was amended on the eleventh of June 2013, and it added the standard value of alcohol concentration, which is the criterion for judging whether someone can drive safely or not. Although the amendment decreases the number of injuries and fatalities, it has not only made it easier for the police to ban drunk driving, but it has also resulted in Article 185-3 becoming the largest number of prosecutions and the highest conviction rate. Therefore, people require the government to issue stiffer penalties for violators. The research searches judgments of the amendment of Article 185-3 from the eleventh of June 2012 to the thirty-first of December 2014 to discuss and analyze the effectiveness of stiffer penalties for drunk drivers, and proposes suggestions at last. The research finds that the current punishment for first offenders remains effective, but it cannot completely prevent offenders from violating the law; for re-offenders, the current punishment is considered ineffective. Therefore, I think the causes underlying drunk driving are not only a diet of habit, but also issues arising from alcoholism and disease. Criminal punishment alone cannot be considered effective in the prevention of drunk driving. It would be more effective to address the problem of drunk driving with a multi-factor approach, utilizing policy, the judiciary, and medical care, and the relevant authority should adopt a plan incorporating short-term, metaphase and long-term stages integrating these three aspects.

Abstract:
碩士<br>世新大學<br>傳播管理學系<br>104<br>In the digital convergence age, the audience in the media have a significant change in usage behavior. Previously, newspapers and television are the major news media. But since 1995, the audience accessed the news way gradually shifting to the internet. In particular, social platforms appeared in 2004 accelerate the development of this phenomenon. For journalism industry, social media need publishers offering contents to feed their platforms, while the news publishers need a lot of readers to obtain advertisement. Obviously, there are both relationship of competition and cooperation between news publishers and social platforms. Therefore, how to create a "win-win" situation for the development of the journalism industry and audience interests is an important issue. This study aims to analyze the relationship of co-opetition between news publishers and social platforms, and use the co-opetition strategy and related theories to propose the suggestions for well developing journalism industry. Meanwhile, this study use ETtoday.net as well as Instant Article on Facebook for examples, and based on value-net theory to study co-opetition relationship among news publishers, social platforms, audience and advertisers / media agency. In addition, this study uses in-depth interview and secondary data analysis to propose conclusions and suggestions. To sum up, this study finds that currently the trend of news publishers provide news content and social platforms provide audience traffic will not change in the short term, while owning to social platform launch new function of instant articles, etc., it will tend to become competition relationship in the long term. This study also considers that currently social platforms have little influence on advertisers / media agency , but it is doesn’t want single dominant media influencing the market mechanism. As far as audience are concerned, it is currently difficult to implement the subscrition mechanism, and content of articles is too homogeneous. Besides, this paper based on value net theory analysis finds that there is a close relationship of competition and cooperation between ETtoday. net and Instant Article on Facebook in the same time. Further, if complementor of news publishers and social platforms expand largely, it should establish a reasonable distribution mechanism of advertising between the two sides, helping to promote the development of the journalism industry and audience interests. Above comments can be used as the basis for future research related to this issue and for the journalism industry reference.
