Abstract:

Abstract Due to advancements in the automobile industry’s technology, the usage of private vehicles, particularly cars, by civilians has grown widespread in this period of globalization. Moreover, the country’s business and trade procedures are improving year after year. This scenario has resulted in significant traffic congestion, air pollution, and inevitable accidents, especially on the Shah Alam-Puchong Highway. As a result, the government proposed the Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) utilising the Internet of Things (IoT) as an alternative to extending the road system, which may be expensive. This method assists authorities in tracking, monitoring, processing, and managing traffic more effectively, therefore reducing traffic congestion concerns. This study report presents a survey on the effectiveness of the ITMS installation on Federal Route 3214 (Shah Alam-Puchong Highway) in reducing traffic congestion. The information gathered is evaluated using Microsoft Excel and the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software. The factors that contribute to traffic congestion and the mean impact of the traffic congestion on road users, society, and the economy of the Shah Alam-Puchong Highway are determined in this study. Furthermore, this study also evaluates the probabilities of IoT hardware utilisation in ITMS at Shah Alam-Puchong Highway.

Abstract:

Abstract There is a lot of legislative and theoretical knowledge about the deployment of fire stations and firehouses. Their placement in the Slovak Republic is, for the most part historical. Most of the dispatches from the fire stations and firehouses in the districts of Povazska Bystrica and Puchov are no longer than 2 hours. Evaluating the areas according to different methodologies provides similar results. It is necessary to involve voluntary and/or semiprofessional fire units in the rural or distant areas of the districts of Povazska Bystrica and Puchov.

Abstract:

Landscape satisfaction towards home garden landscape is vital to preserving home garden ownership. This study was conducted to determine the factors influencing landscape satisfaction towards home garden landscape as there is an insufficient number of studies regarding the subject. This study also focused on residents who own a home garden and mainly live in a residential area in Puchong, Selangor, as the respondents. Quantitative data through a survey questionnaire was collected among them. The Snowball sampling technique was used as the sampling technique. SPSS software was deployed to conduct frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis for the data analysis. The research study found that plant diversity was most significant to landscape satisfaction since the p-value of plant diversity was 0.000 and followed by the environmental awareness factor with a p-value of 0.011. It can be concluded that plant diversity and environmental awareness were influential variables in the landscape satisfaction toward the home garden landscape. The independent variable could be varied to explore other factors influencing the landscape satisfaction towards home garden landscape in Puchong, Selangor, for future research.

On-going studies of the tribe Senecioneae (Compositae) led us to record for the first time five species for Peru, i.e., Dendrophorbium scytophyllum, Pentacalia luteynorum, P. millei, P. riotintis, and Senecio puchei. In addition, the name P. lanceolifolia is synonymized with P. andrei, as well as P. hitchcockii and P. huamaliensis with P. theifolia, and P. tillettii with P. riotintis. Each species is discussed and compared against similar taxa. The name S. puchei is neotypified.

Abstract:

The essay approaches the scientific model as was presented by Georg Friedrich Puchta in the context of the methodological renewal that characterized the early nineteenth century Germany. In this spirit of Mod- ernisierung, the figure of Savignys emblematic disciple stood out. Puchta developed a Law of Science (‘Recht der Wissenschaft’) that had a great re- ception among most important jurists of the century (Thöl, Gerber, Jher- ing, Goldschmidt). Legal analogy was of particular importance among the instruments that served this scientification. However, the legal science of the time combined a high technical character with an almost abolute ab- sence of methodological rules. The rejection (very clear in Puchta’s doc- trine) of the nascent methodology (Thibaut) can be better understood from the core idea that defines this legal philosophy: that history is the essence of law, and hence that only a rich historical legal knowledge, and not aprioristic methodological rules, can serve as methodus.

Abstract:

This article is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Ambulance and Medical Emergency Care Station n. a. A. S. Puchkov in Moscow. Alexander Sergeyevich Puchkov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Honored Doctor of the RSFSR, steadily led her from 1923 to 1952. The data presented in the articles of Mr. Puchkov served as the basis for comparing indicators about the station’s activities during its formation and the modern ambulance and emergency medical services in Moscow. Some features, characteristics and conditions for the provision of emergency and emergency medical care in Moscow in the year 1926 are shown. So, for example, the number of brigades increased by 68.7 times (from 15 in 1926 to 1,031 in 2018). The average time of arrival of the brigade for an accident both in 1926 and in 2018 is 10–12 minutes long. The share of calls by ambulance teams to children under 15 years of age has also increased significantly. The analysis of performance over the years has made it possible to trace the development of the ambulance station from the time of its creation to the present day. The fundamental principles laid down by Alexander S. Puchkov remain in the ambulance work at the present time. Doctors and paramedics of ambulance and emergency medical care teams continue to promptly provide medical care to all those in need, guided by many provisions that were developed and implemented over 90 years ago.

Abstract:

This socialization program for the introduction of batik culture in Sanggar Bimbingan (SB) Puchong, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, aims to provide insight into the art of batik and train the skills of Indonesian migrant workers (TKI) children in making simple batik works. This activity was carried out by students of the International Community Service Program (KKN) of the Jam'iyah Mahmudiyah Institute of Langkat using a participatory method involving the presentation of theory, demonstration of batik techniques, and hands-on practice. With a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation and direct interaction with participants totaling 35 children. The results of the activity showed that the SB Puchong children not only gained technical skills in batik making, but also increasingly understood the philosophy and cultural values contained in batik. The enthusiasm of the participants can be seen from their interest in choosing motifs, mixing colors, and applying both dip and colet dyeing techniques.In addition, the training increased the children’s appreciation of Indonesia’s cultural heritage and fostered a sense of pride in their cultural identity despite being in an overseas environment. The evaluation of the activity showed that the practice-based method was effective in improving the participants’ understanding and skills, as well as providing valuable experience in the creative process of making batik. With the success of this program, it is hoped that the children's awareness of the importance of cultural preservation and can continue to develop their batik skills in the future.

Abstract:

Em tempos coevos, a poesia brasileira contemporânea mostra-se em plena produtividade, ampliando tanto o corpus de escritores e escritoras que desejam deixar suas intervenções no/para nosso tempo quanto a inclusão de novos meios e suportes que permitem a circulação e a disseminação dos textos poéticos. Um desses poetas em atividade é o professor Alberto Pucheu. No conjunto de suas obras – de 1993 até o presente instante – Pucheu tem se preocupado, principalmente, em mostrar a potência do pensamento da poesia e a sua dimensão filosófico-política. Pela leitura dos escritos de Pucheu, compreende-se que o poeta é o sujeito que mantém relação com o outro - seres, objetos, pessoas – no intuito de convocá-los para estabelecer contatos, esbarros, alianças. Parte-se do seguinte entendimento: a linguagem poética abre-se, nesse vir a ser, para o impróprio, para a possibilidade de novos sensíveis, novas proposições do existir. Para tal análise, o presente estudo toma como ponto de partida textos poéticos-literários, direcionados pelo eixo temático proposto. Nessa perspectiva, este trabalho problematiza, a partir de poemas de Pucheu, a linguagem enquanto instauradora de vidas que são planejadas para serem extintas, esquecidas, apagadas. Cabe, ainda, destacar que o estímulo que movimenta o desenvolvimento desta investigação se deve à oportunidade de percorrer escolhas, estratégias poéticas e procedimentos de escrita da poesia, bem como da apreensão de que a poesia sempre está em processo de feitura. Nesse bojo, a poesia condiciona-se a negar-se, recusar-se ou suprimir-se para se situar como tal. Sendo assim, a própria noção de poesia se pluraliza.

Abstract:

In presented article, on the basis of foraminiferal analysis and using the sedimentological data, the stratigraphy of the Upper Cretaceous deposits of the Pieniny Klippen Belt and the Marmarosh Klippen Zone is summarized and clarified, and the features of paleoceanography, in particular the paleobathymetry of sedimentatary basins, were reconstructed. An analysis of the taxonomic composition and morphological features of foraminifera were carried out, as well as of the planktonic/benthic ratio was calculated, on the basis of which the paleoenvironment for foraminifera were reconstructed. Three types of deep-sea foraminiferal assemblages were identified in the studied sediments based on a comparison of the foraminiferal assemblages with the Upper Cretaceous biofacies of the Western Mediterranian and adjacent areas. The assemblages (1) of agglutinated foraminifera belonging to the deep-water agglutinated foraminifera (DWAF) are indicating a bathyal–abyssal below the calcite compensation depth (CCD). These assemblages were found only in the Marmarosh Klippen Zone in low-thickness (25 m) Turonian–Santonian red argillites in the lower part of the Puchov Formation, as well as in the flysch deposits of the Jarmuta Formation. Small-sized foraminifera with a fine-grained wall texture, which belong to the genera Ammodiscus, Haplophragmoides, Labrospira, Pseudobolivina, Plectorecurvoides, Praecystammina, Uvigerinammina, Gerochammina suggesting pelagic sedimentation below CCD are common in the lower part of the Puchov Formation in the Marmarosh Klippen Zone. The assemblages (2) are characteristic for the basin slope with depths above the CCD, and represented by mixed agglutinated, calcareous benthic and planktonic foraminifera. They are characterized by the predominance of the benthic specimens, which make up 70-80% of foraminiferal remains. Assemblages (2) were also found in sediments of the Marmarosh Klippen Zone, such as the upper part of the Santonian and Campanian sediments of the Puchov Formation. They contain siliceous or calcareous-siliceous DWAF (mainly genera Kalamopsis, Caudammina, Karrerulina, Spiroplectammina, Tritaxia, Dorothia, Marssonella), calcareous benthic foraminifera (mainly genera Pleurostomella, Eponides, Globorotalites, Anomalina, Reussella). Planktonic foraminifera have mainly large keeled shells typical for deep sea areas and belong to the genera Globotruncana, Globotruncanita, and Abathomphalus. The assemblages (3) are plankton-dominated with admixture of the DWAF and calcareous benthic foraminifera. The assemblages are characteristic of marls accumulated at depths above the CCD on continental slopes in the bathyal conditions of the open ocean. They are common in the Upper Cretaceous of the Pieniny Klippen Belt, where were found in the tops of the Tyssalo Formation (Cenomanian), Puchov Formation (Turonian–Maastrichtian), and Jarmuta Formation (Maastrichtian). Planktonic foraminifera have mainly large keeled shells, high species and genera diversity and belong to the family Rotaliporidae (Cenomanian), families Globotruncanidae, Globotruncanellidae (Turonian–Maastrichtian). Benthic foraminifera belong mainly to genera Caudammina, Tritaxia, Dorothia, Marssonella Eponides, Reussella. The Upper Cretaceous deposits of the Ukrainian segment of the Pieniny Klippen Belt correspond to the sediments of the Czorsztyn sequence of its Polish segment, and were accumulated in the Czorsztyn submerged ridge (probably on its slope) located in the Alpine Tethys Ocean. The Upper Cretaceous deposits of the Marmarosh Klippen Zone were accumulated on the foot (Turonian – Santonian) and slope (uppermost Santonian – Campanian) of the another uplift such as the edge of the ancient Tisza-Dacia microcontinent, of which the Marmarosh Crystalline Massif is a part. Maastrichnian clastic sediments of the Jarmuta Formation were formed in the orogenic environments.

During the summer months of 1983 Prorocentrum minimum (Pavillard) Schiller, not earlier recorded from the Adriatic, constituted a considerable proportion of the regular summer bloom in the Sibenik Bay (eastern Adriatic coast). During the subsequent years (1984,1985,1986) the proportions of P. minimum in summer blooms in the Ŝibenik Bay was constantly increasing (Marasović, 1986; Marasović, in press). At the same time its presence was reported from the other parts of the Adriatic coast, attributed to the intensified eutrophication of the Adriatic waters (Pucher-Petković & Marasović, 1987; Marasović et al., 1988; Pucher-Petković et al., 1988; Marasović, 1989).

Islam is a religion that brings peace and harmony to all mankind, whether from a theoritical or practical point of view; wasattiyah in his practice. However, Islam has often been related to acts of violence especially in Southeast Asia such as the Bali bombings by the jemaah islam in 2002, the Paris bombing in 2015, the Abu Sayyaf movement in the Philippines and the nightclub bombings in Puchong in 2017. by extremist Islamic State groups (IS). Focus in Malaysia, this study explains the roles of the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS) in addressing issues of religious extremism and challenges in Selangor such as IS. This qualitative study uses interview method and documentation method. This study is expected to contribute to the development of an academic source and references to extremism-themed research especially on the roles and strategy of the Selangor Islamic Religious Department in addressing the critical issues of the current Ummah. Islam adalah sebuah agama yang mementingkan keamanan dan kedamaian kepada seluruh umat manusia sama ada dari sudut teoritikal yang bersumberkan nas-nas dan hukum syarak mahupun praktikal iaitu; wasattiyah dalam pengamalan. Namun begitu, Islam sering dikaitkan dengan aktiviti-aktiviti berbentuk keganasan khasnya di Asia Tenggara seperti pengeboman di Bali oleh Jemaah Islamiyah pada tahun 2002, pengeboman di Paris pada tahun 2015, gerakan Abu Sayyaf di Filipina dan pengeboman kelab malam di Puchong pada tahun 2017 yang didakwa dilakukan oleh kumpulan ekstremis Islamic State (IS). Secara fokusnya di Malaysia, kajian ini menjelaskan peranan Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor (JAIS) dalam mendepani isu-isu teras agama dan cabaran ekstremis di Selangor contohnya IS. Kajian berbentuk kualitatif ini menggunakan kaedah temubual dan kaedah dokumentasi. Kajian dijangka dapat menyumbang kepada perkembangan sumber rujukan akademik yang bertema ekstremisme khususnya berkenaan peranan dan strategi Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor dalam mendepani isu-isu kritikal ummah masa kini.

The comprehensive development evaluation system of county transportation and tourism system was constructed, and the spatio-temporal characteristics of the coupled and coordinated development of pucheng county transportation and tourism system were analyzed by using the coupled and coordinated model. The results show that:1)In terms of the time series change of comprehensive development level, the development level of county transportation and tourism system showed a trend of sustained growth or steady development from 2016 to 2019, and the tourism development improved in 2020, but the county transportation was greatly affected by the epidemic situation, and the changes fluctuated obviously, and the two changes were unbalanced.2)On the change of coupling and coordination time series, the coupling degree remained at a high level with no obvious fluctuation, and the overall level of coupling and coordination was high, which indicated that traffic development effectively promoted the development of tourism.3)In the spatial evolution of coupling and coordination development, the coupling and coordination degree of counties in Weinan City in 2019 and 2020 is quite different. Except Fuping County and Chengcheng County, the coupling and coordination of transportation and tourism systems in all counties changed from coordination to imbalance. Pucheng county developed from primary coordination in 2019 to serious imbalance in 2020, which was greatly affected by the epidemic. Finally, based on the actual situation in Pucheng county, some suggestions are put forward for the development of county transportation and tourism.

Para ampliar esse conceito, o estudioso David Lapoujade (2017) aponta que não há uma existência mais real ou autêntica do que outra; não há, portanto, uma hierarquia dos modos de ser. Cada maneira de ser é singular e incomparável. Assim, as existências mínimas comparecem em Pucheu para pôr em vista o direito de existir, o que provoca tanto uma discussão de ordem estética quanto político-ética.

Analyzing rice yields and multidimensional environmental factors at a fine scale facilitates the discovery of the planting environment patterns that guide the spatial layout of rice production. This study uses Pucheng County, Fujian Province, a demonstration county of China Good Grains and Oils, as the research area. Using actual rice yield sample data and environment data, a yield simulation model based on random forest regression is constructed to realize a fine-scale simulation of rice yield and its spatial distribution pattern in Pucheng County. On this basis, we construct a method system to identify spatial combination patterns between rice yields and fine-scale multidimensional environmental planting suitability using rice yield data and environmental planting suitability evaluation data. We categorize the areas into four combination model areas to analyze the spatial correlation model of planting suitability, multidimensional environment, and yield: higher-yield and higher-suitability cluster–comprehensive environmental-advantage areas, high-yield and high-suitability cluster–soil condition-limited areas, moderate-yield and moderate-suitability cluster–irrigation and drainage condition-limited areas, and low-yield and low-suitability cluster–site condition-limited areas. The following results are found. (1) The rice yield simulation model, which is based on random forest regression, considers the various complex relationships between yield and natural as well as human factors to realize the refined simulation of rice yields at a county scale. (2) The county rice yield has a strong positive spatial correlation, and the spatial clustering characteristics are obvious; these relationships can provide a basis for effectively implementing intensive rice planting in Pucheng County. (3) We construct a spatial combination pattern recognition method based on rice yield and environmental planting suitability. We can use this method to effectively identify the spatial relationship between yield and planting suitability as well as the shortcomings and advantages of different regions in terms of the climate, soil, irrigation, site, mechanical farming, and similar factors. On this basis, we can provide regional rice planting guidance for Pucheng County. In addition, this method system also provides a new perspective and method for research into spatial combination models and related spatial issues.

This paper explored the factors influencing commuter’s preferences of using park and ride (PnR), by investigating their travel mode choice behaviour, and assessing the effectiveness of PnR facilities. Binary logistic regression (BLR) was used to develop travel mode choice model which provides insight into commuter’s considerations contributing to the utilisation of PnR facility. Several scenarios were modelled to investigate the effect of policy changes on commuter’s travel mode shift, which could be essential in formulating effective strategy to promote the use of PnR. The results revealed working trip, short travel time (< 15 mins) and medium long travel distance (1–3 km), were the main considerations of commuter using PnR. The significant influencing factors were determined as travel distance from origin to departing station and from arriving distance to destination, trip purpose, frequency of using light rapid transit (LRT), education level and occupation. 3 scenarios were modelled which revealed that provision of parking subsidy, medium travel distance (around 10 km) and medium travel time (around 20 mins) encouraged commuter to use PnR while travelling in group discourage the use of PnR.

Mejorar la coordinación óculo-manual en discentes de inicial conlleva una serie de beneficios significativos para su desarrollo y crecimiento integral. Esta habilidad les permite realizar actividades cotidianas con mayor autonomía y eficiencia, como vestirse, comer y manipular objetos. Además, fortalece su capacidad de concentración, atención y resolución de problemas, al tiempo que fomenta su creatividad y expresión a través del dibujo, la pintura y el juego simbólico. Esta habilidad también es fundamental para el desarrollo de habilidades preacadémicas, como la escritura y el reconocimiento de formas y patrones, preparándolos para un aprendizaje más formal en etapas subsiguientes, por ello, desarrollar la coordinación óculo-manual en las personas se logra mediante diferentes técnicas, una de ellas es la Puchka. Los estudiantes a partir de los tres años, mediante la ejecución correspondiente a través de ejercicios de coordinación donde intervienen los ojos, manos y dedos, podrán iniciarse en el desarrollo cognitivo, destrezas y habilidades de psicomotricidad, para ello se formuló el objetivo: establecer la correlación entre la Puchka y el fortalecimiento de la coordinación óculo-manual en discentes mencionados. El resultado evidencia que la Puchka tiene relación alta entre ambas variables de estudio, concluyendo que las variables tienen relación alta.

The European Union, by applying legal instruments, seeks to change the situation in favour of safer, more efficient and environmentally friendly modes of transport, such as railways and inland water transport. The railway scientists and experts from the Slovak Republic compare the transport and tariff conditions for the carriage of automobile tires by railway and road transport on the route Puchov - Hannover in a real environment. O presente artigo busca discutir a situação do pensamento crítico brasileiro sobre poesia no século XXI, a partir de uma reflexão teórica suscitada na antologia Theory’s Empire: An Anthology of Dissent (2005), organizada pelos autores Daphne Patai e Will Corral. Nela, os organizadores fazem uma série de considerações sobre o cenário literário atual, indicando o predomínio de determinados fazeres, práticas e pensamentos, entre eles, a prevalência de questões políticas e a valorização do conteúdo frente à estrutura ou à linguagem. Para os teóricos, então, haveria certa estagnação dentro do campo dos estudos literários. Assim, iremos contrastar essa visão com a análise de dois textos: “Uma tese sobre a crítica literária brasileira” em que Alberto Pucheu, poeta e crítico, discute sobre o cenário da crítica literária no Brasil e “Do tempo de Drummond ao (nosso) de Leonardo Gandolfi: da poesia, da pós-poesia e do pós-espanto”, no qual Pucheu efetivamente exerce o trabalho de crítico de poesia.

Este trabalho propõe uma leitura de Espantografias (Pucheu, 2021) — a grafia ou escrita nascida do espanto — como um exercício de transcriação (Campos, 2004) da experiência através do ato performático linguageiro — em outros termos, uma prática que acontece no âmbito da linguagem, ou das linguagens. A partir do pensamento de Alberto Pucheu, prevalece, aqui, o desejo de ver desguarnecidas e horizontalizadas as fronteiras entre música, poesia, filosofia, performance e dança, no entendimento de que tais fazeduras performáticas, enquanto linguagem, definem sempre seu curso na esfera da corporeidade. Aqui, a queda aparece como elemento chave na tessitura de uma pedagogia do espanto. Desta forma, a intenção é demonstrar, espantograficamente, no trabalho de Angel Vianna, a Consciência do Movimento ou Metodologia Angel Vianna, a construção de um processo catalizador de espanto enquanto prática de uma tecitura metamórfica — a pedagogia do acontecimento. Desta maneira, atravessando pelos múltiplos sentidos do que é ser um corpo, neste presente artigo, vamos realizando um percurso poético entre poesia, filosofia e dança.

1 Male Sprague-Dawley rats were injected with 109CdCl2 (3 μmol Cd/kg) and killed between 1 h and 200 d afterwards. Metal concentration in the critical organs, i.e. liver and kidneys decreased very slowly. Within the cells Cd is found mainly in the cytosol and — at very early times — in the nuclei. Within the cytosol of the liver most of the metal is initially bound to proteins with high molecular weight but as early as 3 h after incorporation more than 90% is bound to metallothionein which is always the main binding site in the kidneys. 2 Of the chelating agents tested only BAL and Puchel were able to reduce the body burden significantly. Both are lipophilic substances. Puchel cannot reduce the kidney Cd burden but removes Cd from the liver only while BAL is effective in both organs. Both chelating agents exert their effects at doses which are too near to the LDso to be considered as safe enough for human use.

Abstract:

The research aims to determine the effect of consumer behavior on purchasing decisions for hydroponic vegetables at Puccan Hydroponics. The results of the analysis show that there are 4 factors considered, namely Product, Price, Place, and Promotion on Purchase Decision using multiple linear regression analysis. The population is hydroponic vegetable consumers at Puccan Hydroponics with a total sample of 30 respondents. The sampling technique in this study was the accidental sampling method. Based on the research results, from the results of the F test it can be seen that the variables Product, Price, Place, and Promotion together have a significant effect on the Purchase Decision variable. From the results of the T test it can be seen that the price variable partially influences purchasing decisions, while the product, place, and Promotion does not partially influence the Purchase Decision. From the test results of the coefficient of determination, Product, Price, Distribution, and Promotion variables contribute 90% to the Purchasing Decision variable. While 10% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract:

This article discusses the reading cognitive ability in Malay Language learning among remedial education children. The cognitive ability among these children was tested based on several reading aspects which include the skills of recognizing or detecting, understanding, and applying as outlined in Bloom’s Taxonomy. This research utilized both the quantitative and qualitative methods in collecting the data. The subjects selected involved eight Standard Three students who were undergoing the remedial class in Puchong, Selangor. The instruments used included both oral and non-oral tests. The research findings indicate that the ability to apply appears to be the most acquired cognitive skill among the subjects (99.58%), followed by the abilities to understand (95.36%), and to remember (95.8%). These findings portray that special remedial children’s cognitive ability level is not only measured from the aspect of reading fluency, but also their abilities in recognizing letters, understanding letter sounds, and applying grammar skills. Keywords: cognitive ability, Malay Language learning, remedial education children ABSTRAK: Makalah ini membicarakan tentang tahap keupayaan kognitif bacaan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Melayu kanak-kanak pemulihan khas. Keupayaan kognitif dalam kalangan kanak-kanak pemulihan khas diuji berdasarkan aspek bacaan, iaitu dengan mengaplikasikan kemahiran mengenal pasti, memahami, dan mengaplikasi seperti yang terdapat dalam Taksonomi Bloom. Kajian ini juga menggunakan kaedah kuantitatif dan kualitatif dalam pengumpulan data. Subjek yang dipilih merupakan lapan orang pelajar darjah tiga yang mengikuti kelas pemulihan khas di Puchong, Selangor. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah ujian lisan dan bukan lisan. Dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa keupayaan mengaplikasi merupakan keupayaan yang paling dikuasai oleh subjek kajian dalam kemahiran kognitif, iaitu sebanyak 99.58 peratus, diikuti oleh keupayaan memahami 95.36 peratus, dan keupayaan mengingat 95.8 peratus. Dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa tahap keupayaan kognitif kanak-kanak pemulihan khas bukan hanya diukur daripada kelancaran bacaan sahaja, malah keupayaan mengenal pasti huruf, memahami bunyi huruf, dan mengaplikasi tatabahasa turut diambil kira. Kata kunci: kognitif bacaan, kanak-kanak pemulihan khas, pembelajaran bahasa Melayu
