The beyond 3G official IEEE name for next generation of wireless technology, some people also called it as 4G (fourth-generation) mobile communication systems. Beyond 3G will be used largely to contain not only cellular telephone systems but also several types of broadband wireless access communication systems, have been attracting much interest in the mobile communication field. A new age has begun for telecommunication industry. Over the past decade wireless industry has grown at a remarkable pace, consequently level of technology development goes beyond the level of customer desire. Application flexibility and being highly dynamic will be the main features of beyond 3G services of interest to users. Being there all these emerging technologies in one cellular network has opened the work of designing and optimization of the networks to be viewed from a different perspective. APSEN analysis for Beyond 3G wireless networks has been discussed. “AP” stands for application layer, analysis of services and applications. “SE” stands for session layer, analysis of session management protocol and “N” for network layer, analysis for network protocols. The main purpose of our research is to focus on the challenges offered at APSEN for beyond 3G wireless network. There are a lot of research challenges in each of the different layers but focus will be on APSEN. The objective is to take a look at and familiarize with some of the major challenges offered at APSEN for beyond 3G wireless network. Qualitative approach has been used which will help us to collect wide range of information and enhance our knowledge by analyzing the perspectives of different researchers.

Acid-related disorders are common, chronic conditions that have considerable impact on a patient's quality of life. In a study conducted by Majumdar et al. (2003:2411) the prevalence of chronic acid-related disorders was 2.3%. Acid-related disorders represent a major financial consideration with respect to the costs of drug prescribing (Whitaker, 1998:6). Health care cost increases each year. This leads to an increased interest in economic evaluation of health care and medical technologies (Anell & Svarvar, 2000:175). Health care providers no longer make treatment decisions independent of the consideration of the resultant cost. The treatment provided must not only provide value but the value must be documented to justify spending money. Economic evaluation research has emerged to offer guidance to policy makers, practitioners, health plans and institutions facing difficult treatment and coverage decisions (Ellis era/., 2002:271). The main objectives of this study were to investigate the prescribing patterns and cost of acid reducing medicine with special reference to proton pump inhibitors and histamine-2 receptor antagonists in a section of the private health care sector of South Africa from 2001 to 2006. A longitudinal retrospective drug utilisation study was done on acid reducing medicine items claimed through a national medicine claims database. The five study years were 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2006. All the study years stretched from 1 January to 31 December. It was determined that acid reducing medicine items prescribed decreased from 2.74% during 2001 to 2.50% during 2006 of all medicine items claimed. The same decreasing trend was observed regarding the cost of acid reducing medicine items. The cost percentage decreased from 4.89% (2001) to 3.72% (2006). However, the average cost per medicine item for the acid reducers increased by 5.35% from 2001 (R230.04 ± 176.29) to 2002 (R243.72 ± 184.18) and then decreased by 15.23% from 2002 to 2004. It again decreased with 15.05% from 2004 (R206.19 ± 179.42) to 2006 (R175.70 ± 172.55). The changes in the average cost of acid reducers were of no practical significance. Proton pump inhibitors represented about half of the acid reducing medicine items prescribed and more than 70% of the total cost of acid reducing medicine items during the study years. The average cost of PPIs revealed a practical significant decrease (d > 0.8) from 2002 (R372.42 ± 156.62) to 2006 (R241.56 ± 177.21). H2RAs contributed between 15.00% and 18.26% of all acid reducing medicine items while contributing to between 9.68% and 16.85% of the total cost of all acid reducers. The active ingredient most often prescribed was lansoprazole during 2001 and 2002, esomeprazole during 2004 and omeprazole during 2005 and 2006. Lanzor® 30mg was the acid reducer with the highest cost from 2001 to 2005, while Pariet® 20mg took the lead in 2006. Zantac® 150mg effervescent tablets were the H2RA, with the highest cost, during the five study years. The percentage innovator items decreased by 4.50% from 2001 to 2002, increased by 1.01% from 2002 to 2004 and decreased again by 31.06% from 2004 to 2006. The slight increase in the percentage innovator medicine items claimed from 2002 to 2004 may be explained by the introduction of Nexiam® (esomeprazole) into the market in 2002. The total number of generic medicine items claimed contributed between 9.62% (n = R1 788 242.25) in 2001 and 30.75% (n = R3 196 163.34) in 2006 of the total cost of acid reducing medicine items. The average cost per day of innovator medicine items was higher than the average cost per day of generic medicine items. This might be explained by a lower average cost for generic medicine items. It was also determined that the prevalence of the two-drug regimens was the highest during the five study years. The Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori) eradication treatments, which included different antibiotics, increased from 2.72% in 2001 to 5.05% in 2006. The PDD for most of the active ingredients of H2RAs and PPIs remained stable during the study years. However, it appears that the PDDs, of the PPIs, active ingredients were more constant than the PDDs, or the H2RAs, active ingredients. The median of the different PPI active ingredients was reasonably more constant than the median of the different H2RA active ingredients. Thus the changes between the PPIs' and H2RAs' active ingredients might be explained by the variation in the median (the number of days the relevant medicine item was claimed for). It is then also recommended that the aspects of generic substitution as well as the usage of H2RAs as prescribed vs. self medication should be further investigated to increase possible cost savings.<br>Thesis (M.Pharm. Recent estimates suggest that there are currently around 4.8 million people who consider themselves to be digital nomads. They are widely depicted in the media, most often as young professionals who successfully combine work, leisure and travel into one holistic lifestyle. Despite this significant presence in today's popular culture, from a research point of view, digital nomadism is almost unexplored phenomenon. Therefore, the aim of this work is the analysis and interpretation of the phenomenon of digital nomadism, not only through my own ethnographic research and reflection, but also in terms of current theoretical concepts in anthropology of tourism and mobility. The research itself focuses mainly on selected aspects often associated with digital nomadism in the mainstream media, and how informants reflect them. I deal with aspects such as the blurred boundaries between work and leisure, mobility slowdown, the origin of co-working spaces, the concept of freedom and, last but not least, the social changes that have led to the global expansion of this phenomenon. It is a religious practicing that pursuits the glory and fairness of the spiritual world the followers crave upon. According to the Dao-Hua Hui-Yuan (道法會元): 「Dao enlightens the people through ritual performance, and the ritual performance leads comprehension to Dao by the people.」 Purdue is the second of the three major festivals of Taoism held in the Lunar calendar’s July 15th is in coincidence with the observation of the Yulanpun Festival (盂蘭盆會) of Buddhism in both time and functional purpose. The integration of the two phases has long become the praise of Zhongyuan Purdue (中元普度), however, leaving differentiation in between in several aspects. This thesis takes the example of Taoism Taipei Zhengyi-Zen (正一禪和) and Minxiong Dashiye Temple (大士爺廟) in comparison of their ceremonial ritual and spiritual background. It elucidates and theorizes, sequentially, the religious faction origin, development, settlement community and ritual practicing. In order to compare the similarities and differences between the two in the view of the underworld, the ritual thoughts and pledges, to distinguish their unique characteristics and ultimate concern. Conclusion observes how, after the Taoism and the release of Buddhism into Taiwan, the entities has been transferred to become more amenable to the social habits and daily life of the community and, in turn, through the believing and practicing of the religions, especially how the rite of the festivals used to present people to help the disadvantaged groups and to stabilize the social and spiritual connotation of the society.

碩士<br>淡江大學<br>建築學系<br>84<br>The rapid growth urban development and emerging problems resulted in the urbangrowth make the living quality and periphery enviroment become deterioratedthan ever.Since the concept of PUD has been carried out for years in US,however,the traditional PUD is not the best way for community development,it also causes many problems in urban development.After that,in 90 age,the idea ofprogramming in Seaside new town has faced forward the remodeled PUD.In this artical,it will start with an analysis and evaluation on the experienceand law system governing the implementation of integrated development for planned unit in foreign country will be discussed,than with foreign conceptand experience and domestic concept for improvement,we are to formulate aplanning principles for local community development. Then consolidate thisplanning principle into the redevelopment of Chung-Hsing New Village andevaluate whether it is proper to use this PUD.The following will describe the conclusion portion:1.Laws and system must be established first if PUD is to be carried out inTaiwan.2.It will be more feasible to implement this development system in uncultivatedland and in self- formulated detailed plan.3.Land relieved from farmer land will be more advantageous.4.The remodeled PUD is more suitable in Taiwan''s community development.

O Memorando de Entendimento assinado entre o Governo português e a troika, na sequência da crise económica e financeira desencadeada em 2008, definiu um conjunto de medidas de redução na despesa pública, de reorganização do setor público e de redução na chamada “rigidez” do mercado de trabalho que têm vindo a ter efeitos negativos na situação das pessoas que usam drogas (PUD), nomeadamente a redução das despesas públicas com prestações sociais e com a provisão de serviços que atendem estas pessoas. Esta situação tem particular acuidade num país que é internacionalmente reconhecido por ter uma política de drogas de natureza multissetorial, contemplando iniciativas ao nível da prevenção, redução de riscos, tratamento e reinserção socioprofissional. Para além dos efeitos que a crise e a austeridade estão a ter ao nível da política de drogas e do mercado de trabalho, também é preciso tomar em conta os seus efeitos ao nível da economia paralela onde as PUD podem procurar fontes de rendimento para assegurar a sua subsistência. Este estudo pretendeu analisar em que medida são percecionadas, pelos atores-chave no fenómeno droga e desde 2008, alterações no acesso ao emprego e à economia paralela por parte de PUD, e em que medida estarão essas alterações relacionadas com as políticas de austeridade. Nesta investigação de caráter exploratório, integraram-se técnicas qualitativas e quantitativas, numa abordagem metodológica mista. Os resultados sugerem um aumento das dificuldades das PUD no acesso ao emprego, assim como um aumento do recurso a atividades paralelas. Ambas as tendências foram atribuídas às medidas de austeridade, sobretudo por via de uma retração nas políticas de proteção social e de reinserção socioprofissional.<br>The Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Portuguese Government and troika, following the economic and financial crisis that started in 2008, defined a set of measures for reducing public spending, reorganizing the public sector and reducing the "rigidity" of the labour market which have been generating negative effects on the situation of people who use drugs (PWUD), namely by a reduction in public spending on social services and in the provision of services for PWUD. This situation is particularly acute in a country that is internationally recognized for having a cross sectoral drug policy model, which include measures directed at prevention, harm reduction, treatment and socio-professional reintegration. In addition to the effects of the crisis and austerity in terms of drug policy and in the labour market, it is also necessary to take into account its effects on the parallel economy, where PWUD can look for sources of income for their subsistance. The purpose of this study is to examine to what extent the key-actors in the drug phenomena perceive changes, since 2008, in access to employment and to parallel economy by PWUD, and to what extent are these changes related to austerity policies. This study has an exploratory nature, integrating qualitative and quantitative techniques, in a mixed method approach. The results obtained suggest an increase of difficulties in accessing to the labour markets by PWUD, as well as an increase in the involvement in parallel economy activities. Both trends were attributed to the austerity measures, especially through a decline in social protection and socio-professional reintegration policies.

Le cubitus proximal détient une courbe sagittale unique pour chaque individu, nommée « Proximal Ulna Dorsal Angulation (PUDA) ». Une reconstruction non-anatomique du cubitus proximal, suite à une fracture complexe peut engendrer une malunion, de l’arthrose et de l’instabilité. L’objectif de cette étude était d’évaluer la magnitude de malalignement au niveau de l’angulation proximale dorsale du cubitus qui causerait un malalignement radio-capitellaire, avec et sans un ligament annulaire intact. Afin d’atteindre cet objectif, une étude biomécanique fut conduite sur six spécimens frais congelés avec un simulateur de mouvement du coude. Des fractures simulées au niveau du PUDA, furent stabilisées avec une fixation interne dans cinq configurations différentes. Des images fluoroscopiques furent prises dans différentes positions du coude et de l’avant-bras, avec le ligament annulaire intact, puis relâché. Le déplacement de la tête radiale fut quantifié avec le ratio radio-capitellaire. Une interaction significative fut découverte entre les positions du coude, les angles de malalignement et l’intégrité du ligament annulaire. La subluxation de la tête radiale fut accentuée lors de la déchirure du ligament annulaire. Une augmentation de la subluxation antérieure de la tête radiale fut observée lorsque le malalignement était fixé en extension et lors de mouvements de flexion progressive du coude. D’autre part, un malalignement en flexion et une extension graduelle du coude occasionnait une subluxation postérieure. En conclusion, les résultats ont démontré l’importance d’une reconstruction anatomique du cubitus proximal, car un malalignement de 5 degrés engendre une subluxation de la tête radiale, surtout lors d’une déchirure du ligament annulaire.<br>It has been shown that the proximal ulna has a sagittal bow, named the Proximal Ulna Dorsal Angulation (PUDA), unique for each individual. Non-anatomic reconstruction of the proximal ulna following a complex injury may lead to malunion, arthrosis and instability, hence the importance of understanding its initial anatomy. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the magnitude of angular malalignement at the proximal ulna dorsal angulation that would lead to radiocapitellar malalignement, with and without an intact annular ligament. In order to achieve our goal, a biomechanical study was conducted on six fresh frozen specimens, with an elbow movement simulator. Simulated fractures at the PUDA were stabilized with internal fixation at five different angles. Then, fluoroscopic images were taken in different elbow and forearm positions, first with the annular ligament intact and then released. Radial head displacement was quantified with the Radio-Capitellar-Ratio (RCR). Overall, a significant interaction was found between elbow positions, angles of malalignement and annular ligament integrity. Radial head subluxation was emphasized when the annular ligament was ruptured. Moreover, anterior subluxation of the radial head increased as malalignement was fixed into extension and with progressive elbow flexion. Furthermore, posterior subluxation increased with malalignement into flexion and with elbow extension. In conclusion, our results demonstrate the importance of obtaining an anatomic reconstruction, specific for each individual’s unique proximal ulna dorsal angulation, following a proximal ulna fracture. Indeed, malalignment of 5 degrees can lead to abnormal tracking of the radial head, especially when associated with annular ligament tear.

Freight deliveries on signalized urban streets are known to cause lane blockages during delivery. Traffic congestion associated with urban freight deliveries has gained increasing attention recently as traffic engineers and planners are tasked with finding solutions to manage increasing demand more sustainably with limited road capacity. The goal of this research is to evaluate two models for quantifying the capacity and signalized control delay effects of a lane-blocking freight delivery on an urban arterial. The two methods are: an All-or-Nothing model similar to methodology used in the Highway Capacity Manual 6th Edition, and a Detailed model consistent with kinematic wave theory. The purpose is to provide insight on the use of these tools for analysis of urban freight delivery. The signalized control delay results of the two models are compared with observed video data of urban deliveries from one city block of 8th Ave in New York City. Empirical confirmation of double-parked delivery impact on signalized controlled delay remains elusive due to an inability to isolate the effects of the deliveries from other traffic perturbations in the video sample. Instead, microscopic simulation using Aimsun is used for comparison to the theoretical models and the results lend credibility to the Detailed model. The simulation results show a similar trend of delay impact from double-parked deliveries located at a range distances from the intersection and more closely resembled the Detailed model. The All-or-Nothing model would provide only a coarse representation of the capacity and delay effects. The more detailed approach that accounts for the dynamics of queuing in front of the delivery vehicle provides closed form analytical formulas for capacity and signalized control delay that can account for varying locations of deliveries as well as analysis periods with some blocked cycles and others unblocked. Two policy implications are proposed: 1) that double-parked deliveries located mid-block likely result in less signalized control delay impact, and 2) freight receivers that attract double-parked deliveries near an intersection stop line should be prioritized in urban freight delivery mitigation policies such as off-hour delivery.

The thesis is devoted to the issue of addiction services with a focus on substitution treatment. Theoretical part focuses on presenting of susbstitution treatment, its history and description of the substitution substances and their effects on the human body. Describes the abuse of substitution treatment by problem drug users and tries to map out the various addiction treatment services with a focus on substitution treatment in Prague. The research section defines the attitude of society towards the establishment and functioning of Prague substitution centers. The paper thematizes the concept of science in mid- and late thinking of Friedrich Nietzsche in the context of his understanding of scientific cognition of both: human and its world. The study introduces the problem of science and cognition in general in connection with significant motives of Nietzsche's thinking: morality, the revaluation of all values, thinking and living "beyond good and evil", freedom, human body, the superhuman motive, ascetic ideals, and more. Emphasis is put on the problem of veracity in the context of Nietzsche's attitude to idealism.
