This report presents the findings of two surveys conducted at Fiji National University as preparation for the development of a policy for open educational resources (OER). Findings of the faculty survey indicates positive attitude towards sharing resources. The respondents were highly motivated to use and share resources but were suspicious about OER quality. The respondents also lacked confidence in their knowledge of intellectual property rights. This was ranked as the major barrier to OER adoption.
