Abstract:
The medical data in the intelligent cloud collaborative management system have multidimensional heterogeneous interference, and there are problems such as low data information update rate and poor push results in the push process. Therefore, a method for multidimensional heterogeneous medical data push was proposed. First of all, the logical architecture of the multidimensional heterogeneous data push system was determined, and the data push function was designed; secondly, redundant data removal and noise reduction preprocessing were conducted against the push data, correlation rules were used to integrate multidimensional heterogeneous medical data, the weight of medical data was calculated, the heterogeneous data matrix was constructed, and the integrated medical data were weighted to eliminate multidimensional heterogeneous interference. The results show that the data update rate of the proposed method is faster, the user retention and communication rate are high, the data push precision rate is over 80%, and the recall rate is as high as 76%. Therefore, its performance is significantly better than traditional methods.

Abstract:
Mass customization (MC) is an advanced production mode in the 21st century that combines two opposite production patterns -- customization production and mass production. It keeps low production cost and fast delivery time, while meeting individual customers needs. Firstly, via analyzing the typical production management patterns (material requirement planning (MRP)/ just in time (JIT)), and based on the two strategies of modularization and postponement, the paper presented a push/pull manufacturing model to meet the demands of MC. This model integrates the two different production patterns (push and pull) to reduce inventory, production costs and production time. Before the customer order decoupling point (CODP), common components and selective components are produced via push of plan in presence of inventory. After the CODP, customization production is conducted by pull of orders.

Abstract:
Context: Suspension training devices use body weight resistance and unstable support surfaces that may facilitate muscle recruitment during push-up exercises. Objective: The authors examined muscle recruitment with surface electromyography on 4 shoulder and 4 torso muscles during (1) standard push-ups, (2) feet-suspended push-ups, (3) hands-suspended push-ups, and (4) dual-instability push-ups in which feet were suspended and hands were on unstable surfaces. Design: Cross-sectional design with repeated measures. Setting: Biomechanics laboratory. Participants: Thirty-two healthy men and women (mean age, 24.3 y; mean body mass index, 24.6 kg·m−2) participated. Intervention: Participants were tested while performing 2 repetitions each of 4 variations of push-ups. Main Outcome Measures: Muscle recruitment, normalized to maximum voluntary isometric contraction, was measured in 4 prime movers (anterior deltoid, pectoralis major, serratus anterior, and triceps brachii) and 4 torso stabilizers (external oblique, internal oblique, rectus abdominis, and upper erector spinae). Results: Muscle recruitment in the anterior deltoid, pectoralis major, and serratus anterior during suspended exercises was no greater than during standard push-ups. In contrast, torso stabilizer recruitment was significantly greater in the external oblique, internal oblique, and rectus abdominis during all 3 suspended exercises compared with standard push-ups. Suspended exercises under a dual-instability condition did not generate greater levels of muscle activation compared with conditions of single instability. Conclusions: Push-ups performed with suspension training systems may provide benefit if one’s goal is to enhance torso muscle training. One unstable surface may be sufficiently challenging for the client or athlete when performing push-up exercises with a suspension training device.

Abstract— There is a remarkable growing interest in utilizing mobile communications to enhance the interactions between different partners in educational institutions, particularly in schools. However, how communicating with parents via applications while aren't actively running is quite a challenging demand. On the other hand, the addressed success of the Android supporting features provided a good candidate to support applications with real time information. Moreover the Android platforms supports efficiently customizable notifications, which allow applications based on Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) to specify the pushed events. In this paper, we look at different push messaging alternatives available for Android. Push messaging provides an important aspect of server to device communication, and we specifically focus on the integration of cloud computing with mobile devices through the use of push-based technologies. The paper presents a proposed notification system; ToParent, that actively provide alerts and messaging between parents and schools. Also, we investigate the performance of two relevant push technologies for the Android devices .The proposed system was implemented using Eclipse. The system has been tested and validated. Evaluation have proven that the proposed ToParent enabled better efficiency, and good overall satisfaction of both parties; parents and school administrations.

Abstract:
Thematic roles characterise the functions of participants in events, but there is no agreement on how these roles are identified in the real world. In three experiments, we examined how role identification in push events is supported by the visual object-tracking system. Participants saw one to three push events in visual scenes with nine identical randomly moving circles. After a period of random movement, two circles from one of the push events and a foil object were given different colours and the participants had to identify their roles in the push with an active sentence, such as red pushed blue. It was found that the participants could track the agent and patient targets and generate descriptions that identified their roles at above chance levels, even under difficult conditions, such as when tracking multiple push events (Experiments 1–3), fixating their gaze (Experiment 1), performing a concurrent speeded-response task (Experiment 2), and when tracking objects that were temporarily invisible (Experiment 3). The results were consistent with previous findings of an average tracking capacity limit of four objects, individual differences in this capacity, and the use of attentional strategies. The studies demonstrated that thematic role information can be maintained when tracking the identity of visually identical objects, then used to map role fillers (e.g., the agent of a push event) into their appropriate sentence positions. This suggests that thematic role features are stored temporarily in the visual object-tracking system.

Abstract:
Tolerance to +Gzstress is reduced by preceding exposure to −Gz (push-pull effect). The mechanism(s) responsible for this effect are not fully understood, although the arterial baroreceptor reflexes have been implicated. We investigated the integrative response of the autonomic nervous system by studying responses to gravitational stress before and after autonomic function was inhibited by hexamethonium in 10 isoflurane-anesthetized male and female Sprague-Dawley rats. Animals were restrained supine and subjected to two rotations imposed about the x-axis: 1) a control G profile consisting of rotation from 0 Gz (+1 Gy) to 90° head-up tilt (+1 Gz) for 10 s and 2) a push-pull G profile consisting of rotation from 0 Gz to 90° head-down tilt (−1 Gz) for 2 s immediately preceding 10 s of +1 Gz stress. Eight G profiles consisting of equal numbers of control and push-pull trials were imposed by using a counterbalanced design. We found that hexamethonium lowered baseline arterial pressure and abolished the push-pull effect. The lack of a push-pull effect after autonomic blockade persisted when arterial pressure was restored to baseline levels by phenylephrine infusion. Lowering baseline arterial pressure by sodium nitroprusside infusion or by hemorrhage when autonomic function was intact also abolished the push-pull effect. We conclude that intact autonomic function and a normal baseline arterial pressure are needed for expression of the push-pull effect in anesthetized rats subjected to tilting.

Abstract:
Background: Despite high coverage of indoor interventions like insecticide-treated nets, mosquito-borne infections persist, partly because of outdoor-biting, early-biting and insecticide-resistant vectors. Push-pull systems, where mosquitoes are repelled from humans and attracted to nearby lethal targets, may constitute effective complementary interventions. Methods: A partially randomized cross-over design was used to test efficacy of push-pull in four experimental huts and four local houses, in an area with high pyrethroid resistance in Tanzania. The push-pull system consisted of 1.1% or 2.2% w/v transfluthrin repellent dispensers and an outdoor lure-and-kill device (odour-baited mosquito landing box). Matching controls were set up without push-pull. Adult male volunteers collected mosquitoes attempting to bite them outdoors, but collections were also done indoors using exit traps in experimental huts and by volunteers in the local houses. The collections were done hourly (1830hrs-0730hrs) and mosquito catches compared between push-pull and controls. An. gambiae s.l. and An. funestus s.l. were assessed by PCR to identify sibling species, and ELISA to detect Plasmodium falciparum and blood meal sources. Results: Push-pull in experimental huts reduced outdoor-biting for An. arabiensis and Mansonia species by 30% and 41.5% respectively. However, the reductions were marginal and insignificant for An. funestus (12.2%; p>0.05) and Culex (5%; p>0.05). Highest protection against all species occurred before 2200hrs. There was no significant difference in number of mosquitoes inside exit traps in huts with or without push-pull. In local households, push-pull significantly reduced indoor and outdoor-biting of An. arabiensis by 48% and 25% respectively, but had no effect on other species. Conclusion: This push-pull system offered modest protection against outdoor-biting An. arabiensis, without increasing indoor mosquito densities. Additional experimentation is required to assess how transfluthrin-based products affect mosquito blood-feeding and mortality in push-pull contexts. This approach, if optimised, could potentially complement existing malaria interventions even in areas with high pyrethroid resistance.

Abstract:
The productivity of maize in Ethiopia has remained lower than the world average because of several biotic and abiotic factors. Stemborers and poor soil fertility are among the main factors that contribute to this poor maize productivity. A novel cropping strategy, such as the use of push-pull technology, is one of the methods known to solve both challenges at once. A push-pull technology targeting the management of maize stemborers was implemented in the Hawassa district of Ethiopia with the ultimate goal of increased food security among smallholder farmers. This study evaluated farmers’ perception of push-pull technology based on their experiences and observations of the demonstration plots that were established on-farm in Dore Bafano, Jara Gelelcha and Lebu Koremo village of the Hawasa district in 2016 and 2017. This study examined farmers’ perception of the importance of push-pull technology in controlling stemborers and improving soil fertility and access to livestock feed. In both cropping seasons, except for Jara Gelelcha, the maize grain yields were significantly higher in the climate-adapted push-pull plots compared to the maize monocrop plots. The majority (89%) of push-pull technology-practising farmers rated the technology better than their maize production methods on attributes such as access to new livestock feed and the control of stemborer damage. As a result, approximately 96% of the interviewed farmers were interested in adopting the technology starting in the upcoming crop season. Awareness through training and effective dissemination strategies should be strengthened among stakeholders and policymakers for the sustainable use and scaling-up of push-pull technology.

This paper considers anM/G/1/Kqueueing system with push-out scheme which is one of the loss priority controls at a multiplexer in communication networks. The loss probability for the model with push-out scheme has been analyzed, but the waiting times are not available for the model. Using a set of recursive equations, this paper derives the Laplace-Stieltjes transforms (LSTs) of the waiting time and the push-out time of low-priority messages. These results are then utilized to derive the loss probability of each traffic type and the mean waiting time of high-priority messages. Finally, some numerical examples are provided.

Abstract:
Material flow in production systems can be controlled by a purely push-pull (just-in-time), or by a hybrid push-pull control mechanism. One type of push-pull production control can be implemented by controlling only the last stage during part withdrawals to trigger the production at the first stage. While the final stage is operated according to a pull mechanism, intermediate stages are operated according to a push system of control in order to keep the work-in-process (WIP) at a constant level. Since the WIP levels are limited in hybrid systems, production output rate is very susceptible to equipment failures. In order to establish suitable WIP capacities between the stages of production, it is essential to analyze the production line using appropriate models and tools. This paper develops a discrete iterative model to study and analyze behavior of a push-pull system with unreliable equipment at any stage. The model is utilized to optimize WIP capacities at intermediate stages and number of kanbans at the last stage. Furthermore, an experimental design is set up to analyze effects of various maintenance policies, line design parameters, and operational factors on line performance measures by using simulation results from the model.

Abstract:
Due to imbalanced PE teaching resources and single mode, PE teaching development lags behind. With the help of multimedia technology, an interactive system based on resource push was constructed in this paper to assist PE teaching. The whole system aims to make up for the defects of traditional PE teaching mode. On the one hand, it studies resource push technology, takes individual needs as the core and carries out learning resource allocation and individualized push for different students. On the other hand, it achieves interactive PE teaching system based on streaming media, supports the exchange and study between teachers and students, and breaks through the defect of time and place limits in traditional teaching. In this paper, the course of Skiing and Mountaineering Exercise was chosen as the test content to check the effect of this teaching system. The results show that interactive teaching based on video resource push technology can motivate students’ learning initiative and interest and greatly improve the learning effect.
