ABSTRACT Pyogenic granuloma (PG) or granuloma pyogenicum is a common tumor-like growth of the oral cavity or skin is a kind of inflammatory hyperplasia. It is non-neoplastic in nature and represents an exuberant tissue response to local irritation or trauma. In oral cavity, PG shows striking predilection for gingiva with interdental papilla being most common site in 70% of cases.
