Abstract:
The laboratory is one of the important facilities and supports the implementation of learning in tertiary institutions. However, in carrying out practicum activities, students are often constrained by information regarding names, functions, and steps for using instruments. Therefore, the need for information about laboratory equipment is quite important for students. This study aims to produce a website based on a QR code to provide information about the instrument to users and the steps to use it. This research uses research and development methods with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation). The questionnaire is used to measure user responses regarding the QR code and its application. Based on the analysis of the problems found, the QR code was successfully created. This QR code was validated by media experts and instrument content experts and obtained valid results. Users show a positive response regarding the use of the QR code for introducing of Refraction Laboratory instruments. Thus, a website-based QR code can be used to provide optical instrument information to users. However, socialization about its use is very necessary for laboratory users.

Abstract:
In recent trends, there has been an increase in 'Qshing' attacks, a hybrid form of phishing that exploits fake QR (Quick Response) codes impersonating government agencies to steal personal and financial information. Particularly, this attack method is characterized by its stealthiness, as victims can be redirected to phishing pages or led to download malicious software simply by scanning a QR code, making it difficult for them to realize they have been targeted. In this paper, we have developed a classification technique utilizing machine learning algorithms to identify the maliciousness of URLs embedded in QR codes, and we have explored ways to integrate this with existing QR code readers. To this end, we constructed a dataset from 128,587 malicious URLs and 428,102 benign URLs, extracting 35 different features such as protocol and parameters, and used AutoML to identify the optimal algorithm and hyperparameters, achieving an accuracy of approximately 87.37%. Following this, we designed the integration of the trained classification model with existing QR code readers to implement a service capable of countering Qshing attacks. In conclusion, our findings confirm that deriving an optimized algorithm for classifying malicious URLs in QR codes and integrating it with existing QR code readers presents a viable solution to combat Qshing attacks.

Abstract:
This research paper explores the effectiveness of quick response (QR) code-based attendance systems with the added security measure of generating two QR codes per second. With traditional attendance tracking methods being time-consuming and inefficient, QR codes have become increasingly popular as a quick and efficient alternative. However, one concern with QR code-based attendance systems is the potential for fraud and misuse. To address this issue, this study proposes generating two QR codes per second to ensure that only the current and legitimate QR code is recognized. The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of this technology on student attendance rates, the accuracy and reliability of attendance data, and the overall user experience for both students and instructors. Through data analysis and surveys, we found that the use of QR codes with the added security measure resulted in increased student attendance rates, improved accuracy and reliability of attendance data, and a positive user experience for both students and instructors. This research provides practical insights for educational institutions considering the implementation of QR code-based attendance systems and contributes to the growing body of literature on the use of QR codes in education.

Abstract:
Quick Response Code (QR Code) is a two-dimensional image that has the ability to store data. QR Code is commonly used to store data in the form of text, be it numeric, alphanumeric, or binary code. QR Code is widely used for commercial purposes, especially in Japan, usually contains a url link to a specific address or simply text containing advertisements, promotions, and others. One of the things that is not commonly used in QR codes is inserting images into the information it stores. This can increase readers' appeal, especially for advertising, posters, and other commercial matters. This research conducted a study on the possibility of making a QR Code from text input data. Therefore an analysis is carried out on how to make the image the content of the information contained in the QR Code. The solution offered is to convert the text into another representation that can be understood by the QR Code generator and QR Code reader. Previously, the text file was converted into binary. This research also generates QR Code Generator and QR Code Reader, where the input data is in the form of text, then tested to be applied in the real world. The software implementation is done using PHP with MySQL database.

Abstract:
The implementation of Quick Response (QR) codes in education has become increasingly popular. Previous studies proved that it can increase the motivation of pupils in learning. Hence, this research investigates the difference of pupils’ motivation levels in learning pronunciation after the implementation of QR codes. We examine the motivation of pupils in terms of four aspects: interest, competence, perceived choice and sense of belonging. Accordingly, we propose a QR code model, which is linked to Google Forms that contain audio recordings for pronunciation practice. With the proposed QR code activity, the pupils can record their versions of audio recordings of pronunciation and submit to their teacher for feedback. The participants are 90 year 4 pupils from a sub-urban Chinese primary school in Johor. We employ a pre-experimental research design in this research. We collect our data by using 2 research instruments: survey questionnaires and observation checklist. We administer the survey questionnaires before and after the implementation of QR codes to find out the changes in the motivation of pupils. We also utilise an observation checklist to examine the attitude of the participants during the implementation of QR codes in pronunciation learning. The findings of this research reveal a significant change in the pupils’ motivation towards the implementation of QR codes in pronunciation learning. Specifically, we find an increment of motivation in learning pronunciation as the pupils show interests in learning.

Abstract:
The quick response (QR) code-based attendance application contributes to reducing paper usage and attendance input errors. However, in its implementation process, the QR-code-based attendance at a Bandung school demonstrates weaknesses. Absent students can fake their attendance for themselves or friends. This type of attack is known as fake QR code generation. This research proposes a security authentication system using the Rivest–Shamir–Adleman (RSA) encryption algorithm and the secure hash algorithm 1 (SHA-1) to secure QR code-based attendance applications from fake QR code generation attacks. The RSA algorithm encrypts QR code data to maintain privacy, while the SHA-1 algorithm ensures data integrity. Based on this method, the mutual authentication process between the QR code data generated by the student and the attendance reading application by the teacher can be established. The results obtained from a series of tests showed that the security system in the student attendance recording application that had been implemented at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Al-Mukhlishin could detect and prevent fake QR code generation attacks. The test was conducted by changing the impact of the key length on RSA-1024 bits and RSA-2048 bits. The results showed that in RSA-1024 bits, energy consumption of 0.14 J and time of 1.66 s is more efficient than that in RSA-2048 bits, with energy consumption of 0.19 J and time of 2.09 s. Interestingly, if a higher level of security is required, the key length should be increased at the expense of some energy and time efficiency.

Abstract:
Экспериментальные результаты получены в условиях инженерного полигона this study is devoted to the software implementation of motion control of a mobile robot using a QR code. The purpose of the study is to provide autonomous movement of a mobile robot along a path with obstacles, using movement algorithms based on information from sensory devices and QR codes. Previously, an analysis of the existing algorithms for the movement of mobile robots was carried out, their advantages and disadvantages were reflected. To achieve the goal, a block diagram of a mobile robot was developed, which demonstrates the connection of the controller with external devices for collecting information and controlling movement. Signals were received and their preliminary processing was carried out by sensor devices - infrared and ultrasonic sensors and an accelerometer. Tetrix was chosen as the hardware for modeling, the National Instrument myRIO microcontroller for software implementation, and LabVIEW for the development environment. An algorithm has been developed for constructing the trajectory of the robot along a given route using a QR code, which allows reading the encoded information with a scanner. The QR code is necessary, first of all, to determine the direction of traffic at intersections. During the experiments, two maps of the area with different trajectories of movement were used. Implemented various options for the movement of the robot - straight, turn left, turn right. Thanks to the implementation of the algorithm, the exact following of the mobile robot to a given end point in a warehouse environment is ensured. The issue of navigation is solved with the help of a map of black lines, which forms a network of possible routes. The experimental results were obtained under the conditions of an engineering test site

Abstract:
The increasing use of smartphones has allowed quick response (QR) codes to build a stronger connection between consumers and products, enabling a bridge between offline and online products and providing quick access to product information, traceability, and food safety. This study focuses on two primary aspects: familiarity with QR codes and their usage by consumers and FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) producers in Slovenia. Additionally, authors examined consumers’ motivations to scan QR codes for food products, particularly dairy products. Data collected through online research, interviews, and field investigations revealed that consumers rarely scan QR codes. To increase its usage, it should be included in an overall advertising campaign to provide instant benefit; consequently, it would increase consumer engagement with the product. Field research and interviews revealed that only a few packaged products are equipped with QR codes, primarily to support trade marketing activities. In addition, most consumers scan the code at home seeking information regarding its origin, which provides insights into future implementation possibilities. Furthermore, from the design point, QR codes should be positioned on the side panel of the packaging together with an invitation to motivate and explain how scanning would benefit the consumer.

Abstract:
De-Djawatan Tourism Destinations are known by various tourists both local and non-local with their natural beauty in the form of large and lush trees that are still beautiful or natural. De-Djawatan tourism does not yet have detailed information either manually or digitally related to the biological and general classification of plants in that location. As smartphone technology develops, the information needed to be very easy to obtain. QR Code is one method to obtain complete information. QR Code is a type of two-dimensional image that displays data in the form of text. This community partnership program aims to provide appropriate technology in the form of the QR code method in determining the identification of plants found in De-Djawatan tourist destinations. This aims to make it easier for tourists to find information on various plants both biologically and in general.
The stages of program implementation start from the observation stage, media creation, and implementation. The results of this program using the QR Code can include the identity of the identification results of plants, such as division, order, family, genus and species of plants in the De-Djawatan location. In this QR Code method there are features such as Home, Collection, and Admin. Before the QR Code is created, the document data is encrypted and then used as a QR Code. The result of scanning the QR Code is in the form of a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) that points to the document data. When the URL is executed on the web browser, the system performs a description of the URL, then it is matched with the database, and then displayed to the web browser. The final result is a Document Validation application in the form of a QR Code which is used to convey plant identification information, such as division, order, family, genus and species of plants.

Abstract:
Abstract In today’s modernized world, proficiency is at a step forward expecting the man kind to be in advance. This elevation can be seen in various aspects of diversification which majorly include raising number of Smart cities around us. A smart city explains itself as the one, which consists of complex infrastructures, that takes help of communication technologies to increase operational efficiency. Increasing complexity in the infrastructure of institutions, organizations and even malls, make user more reliant on the navigation services. But these navigational services that are in use today are constrained to open areas. So, this Campus Routing using QR code is proposed, to provide better indoor navigation. It describes development of a web-based application that is designed for providing both outdoor and indoor routing to meet the user’s requirement and the same is extended to implement in exam halls for providing route pictures to students of different rooms. There are various solutions exist in the market for indoor navigation using NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, but their reliability at every situation is not ideal. Unlike previously proposed solutions this paper chose a different implementation technique by developing a full stack web application that helps in both indoor and outdoor navigation i.e., it involves creating a client interface at frontend and a server at backend. Maps used here are predefined using Auto-Cad tool, stored in database and are retrieved upon user’s request. These route pictures (Maps) can be accessed by the user through the mobile phone using QR code.

Abstract:
This study examines the effects of QR code implementation in retail pharmacy settings, focusing on how digital innovation influences customer satisfaction, trust, and repurchase intention through the lens of service quality theory. Two primary research questions guide the analysis: identifying the factors that affect customer outcomes before and after QR code adoption, and assessing how the relationships between service quality dimensions—service quality, waiting time, and store attributes—and customer outcomes evolve following implementation. Using multiple regression analysis, the study finds that all predictors significantly impact customer satisfaction, trust, and repurchase intention in both pre- and post-implementation phases, with service quality showing a notable increase in influence after QR code integration (unstandardized coefficient rising from 0.22 to 0.37 and standardized coefficient from 0.23 to 0.38). Store attributes remain a strong determinant of positive customer experiences, while waiting time continues to have a moderate negative effect. The explanatory power of the models improves post-implementation, as indicated by an increase in satisfaction R² from 0.54 to 0.56. These results underscore the value of QR code technology in enhancing service quality and customer outcomes in retail pharmacy, supporting the integration of digital solutions to improve service delivery and customer experience.

Abstract:
The popularity of QR codes for encoding information such as URIs has increased exponentially in step with the technological advances and availability of smartphones, digital tablets, and other electronic devices. We propose using QR codes on specimens in biological collections to facilitate linking vouchers’ electronic information with their associated collections. QR codes can efficiently provide such links for connecting collections, photographs, maps, ecosystem notes, citations, and even GenBank sequences. QR codes have numerous advantages over barcodes, including their small size, superior security mechanisms, increased complexity and quantity of information, and low implementation cost. The scope of this paper is to initiate an academic discussion about using QR codes on specimens in biological collections.
