Abstract:
Before the development of science and technology, the payment system in Indonesia was only done using cash. Money is used to make daily human payments as a medium of exchange. Cash payment instruments are regulated in Law Number 7 of 2011 concerning Currency. But along with the development of science and technology, payment instruments have been more widely used. This progress comes in the form of digital payment instruments. QRIS is one of the digital payments available today. QRIS stands for Indonesian Quick Response Code Standard launched by Bank Indonesia. When making payments through QRIS as a means of payment, you can use one e-wallet to pay merchants, such as Link Aja, Gopay, OVO, DANA, Shopeepay, and others. This research was conducted to compare payment systems (cash and QRIS payments) made by Banten students in making transactions. This research was conducted using quantitative methodology. The distribution data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires.

Abstract:
The COVID-19 pandemic is a social change where people are forced to adapt, one of which is in the payment system. Bank Indonesia has established one of the digital payment systems, namely QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesia Standard), to facilitate transaction payments easily, quickly, and securely. This study aims to measure the extent of the use of QRIS payments in the community. This research method uses qualitative research with data collection through a literature review associated with Talcott Parsons' theory. The results of this study show that the role of using the QRIS payment system among the public has shortcomings in terms of network connection and age factors. Among MSMEs, the QRIS payment system continues to increase due to the ease of transacting using one QR code. Meanwhile, in the current generation (generation Y, Z, and Alpha), the QRIS payment system is not only to support needs but has become a daily lifestyle. The QRIS payment system aligns with Talcott Parsons' theory of AGIL (adaptation, goal attainment, integration, and latency).

One innovation in digital payment systems is the Quick Response Indonesia Standard (QRIS), which standardizes non-cash payments using QR Codes. This study aims to examine the influence of Perceived Risk and Trust on the decision to use QRIS in Mataram City. This associative study targets residents of Mataram City who use QRIS as a non-cash payment method. A total of 100 respondents were selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques included interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, while data analysis employed multiple linear regression. The results indicate that both Perceived Risk and Trust have a positive and significant influence on the decision to use QRIS. These findings provide insights for Bank Indonesia to expand QRIS networks, minimize risks, and enhance public trust in QRIS as an efficient digital payment solution.

Abstract:
In the current era of digital payment system transformation, the use of Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) has become one of the main trends in the ease of financial transactions. This research aims to explore the trends and challenges faced in transaction security using QRIS. This study uses qualitative research methods and analyzes literature, identifying various aspects of the use of QRIS, including its advantages in imitating digital payment systems. The results of the study show that by implementing advanced data encryption and transaction authentication, QRIS has significantly improved transaction security. In addition, this system encourages the growth of the digital ecosystem and financial inclusion by making it easier to integrate various payment platforms. Although QRIS helps prevent fraud with a verification mechanism and surveillance of suspicious actions, there are still problems. One of them is the need to educate users about security practices. In addition, QRIS has provided a strong foundation for the development of new technologies, encouraging innovation in digital payment systems. When various stakeholders in the payments ecosystem work together, the user experience becomes better. Although innovation has many advantages, the management of new technologies and compliance with safety standards are still a problem. Overall, QRIS offers a secure and integrated payment solution while allowing for innovation. To maximize the benefits of QRIS, all parties must continue to improve their understanding of security, support financial inclusion, and adapt to the latest innovations.

Abstract:
This research examines the unilateral tariff imposed by President Donald Trump on Indonesia, focusing on the implementation of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) payment system. These tariff are part of the U.S. strategy to maintain its global economic dominance, particularly in the international payment sector, traditionally controlled by U.S. companies like Visa and Mastercard. QRIS, introduced by Bank Indonesia, has rapidly expanded in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, highlighting the progress of developing nations in creating more efficient and inclusive payment systems. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study methodology, this study analyzes the impact of these tariff on Indonesia's digital payment system through literature review and theoretical triangulation. The Frankfurt School and Hegemony Theory are applied to explain how the U.S. employs tariff to sustain its global dominance and counter emerging threats. The study concludes that the tariff on Indonesia's QRIS reflect superpower dominance, aiming to preserve U.S. hegemony in the global payment system. QRIS, with its potential to replace U.S.-dominated systems, represents a threat to U.S. dominance in international payments. This research also offers insights into how developing nations like Indonesia use technological innovation to reduce reliance on financial systems controlled by advanced nations.
