In this article, ontology mapping is resolved as an optimization problem. It aims at optimizing correspondences discovery between similar concepts of source and target ontologies. For better guiding and accelerating the concepts correspondences discovery, the article proposes a meta-heuristic hybridization which incorporates the Hill Climbing method within the mutation operator in the genetic algorithm. Abstract: Criteria mapping is a method of quality assessment developed in the 1970s and used to judge the quality of care in hospitals. It is based on retrospective chart audit using prespecified explicit criteria arranged in algorithms. Because it considers only the criteria that are relevant to the case, it yields a better measure of quality than the criteria list method of explicit chart review. Criteria mapping lends itself readily to the program evaluation field because it can be program based instead of diagnosis based and collects both process and outcome data. The method is currently u

Abstract In the history of mankind, society was always heavily relying on the knowledge regarding their surroundings. Maps of already known areas were used in different areas of human activity, regardless if they were military applications or for plain orientation purposes. In the modern days of the 21st century, it is almost unimaginable for any corporate or private user to carry out their usual activity without precise knowledge of their (eventually larger than before) surroundings. One thing that changed in the past few years is that although people always used maps, the making of these wer

An urgent issue in today’s society is the large emissions of air pollutants and CO2. Aside from being extremely harmful to the environment, these emissions can also be particularly unhealthy for inhabitants of metropolitan areas. To help combat this issue, a system for measuring air quality over larger areas is required. In this project a system for mobile air quality mapping was developed, based on an earlier prototype. The system is able to log CO2 levels over large areas, and communicate the measurements to a server when connected to WiFi. The measurements are thereafter inserted into a dat

Dans ce genre de scénario, la notion de qualité peut être exprimée comme la fidélité de la version traitée à sa version de référence.
