Abstract:
ABSTRACT Background: Retinopathy of Prematurity (R.O.P) is a primary cause of blindness in prema-ture babies with abnormal retinal vasculature. Anti-VEGF agents, such as Aflibercept (Eylea), have also emerged as a treatment option for severe R.O.P instead of laser photo-coagulation. The current study was conducted to evaluate the rate of recurrence of R.O.P following intravitreal Aflibercept injections in premature infants and the outcomes of re-treatment, including laser therapy. Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted at Duhok Eye Hospital from 2019 to 2024. Participants included

Abstract:
Resilience was set to rest on 30 June 2016 in Trondheim, Norway. After a two-year quest for meaning, the concept now lies with its neoliberal supporters. Resilience and I first crossed paths at the beginning of my PhD journey in Geography. I was driven by curiosity and an eagerness to put resilience to use: after all, who doesn’t want to be resilient? As the months passed by, I discovered the many different meanings the concept was associated with. Indeed, resilience refused to be put in a box. Yet, the concept contained some questions that I set out to try to answer in the “real” world. Howev

Abstract:
This study examined the impact and side effects of a cognitive behavioural program for the treatment of recurrent abdominal pain (R.A.P.) on children's behavioural adjustment and family functioning. It assessed the extent to which changes in children's pain symptoms covaried with family processes thought to be etiologically significant in cases of R.A.P. Results showed that pain symptoms of both experimental and control children improved significantly six months after initial assessment. Treatment achieved its objectives more quickly with a higher proportion of completely pain-free children. N

Abstract:
Details of the complex bonding environment present in the molecular centre of an alkyne-bridged dicobalt complex have been examined using a combination of experimental and theoretical charge-density modelling for two compounds which share a central Co2C2 tetrahedral moiety as their common motif. Topological analysis of the experimental electron density illustrates the problem of separating the Co—C bond-critical points (b.c.p.s) from the intervening ring-critical point (r.c.p.), due largely to the flat nature of the electron density in the CoC2 triangles. Such a separation of critical points i
