Bolted connections are widely used in parallel plates and flanged joints to axially lock using the preload generated by the tightening torque and to constrain radial movements of the flanges by the surface friction between mating surfaces. The surface friction depends on the micro-asperities of mating surfaces; under the influence of vibrations and other external radial loads, these asperities tend to deform over time, resulting in the failure of the connection. The Bondura expanding pin system presented in this article is an innovative axial and radial locking system, in which the failure of

For 300 MW inner cooling turbo generator, a discrete model for cooling material flow distribution of radial ventilation cooling system has been developed. The structure optimization is studied with this model. The effect of the radial distance and the tangential distance on stator’s radial flow distribution was analyzed and optimized. The results of the simulation show that with the same inlet-outlet flow pressure the flow deviation increased as the radial distance increased but the tangential distance decreased oppositely.

Currently the procedure consists of eight peripheral incisions of up to 90% of the corneal thickness leaving a 3 - 4 mm central clear zone centered on the optic axis. The procedure is designed to weaken the corneal structure inducing an increase in the corneal radius of curvature, thereby reducing corneal dioptric power. After the surgery patients often complain of increased sensitivity to glare; this subjective complaint1 is measurable2 and has resulted in changes in behavior such as altered driving

Abstract:
In this research work, we develop a drowsy driver detection system through the application of visual and radar sensors combined with machine learning. The system concept was derived from the desire to achieve a high level of driver safety through the prevention of potentially fatal accidents involving drowsy drivers. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, drowsy driving resulted in 50,000 injuries across 91,000 police-reported accidents, and a death toll of nearly 800 in 2017.
