Abstract:
A generalized probabilistic-physical model of reliability of a two-level active phased antenna array (APAA) of a multifunctional radar station was presented. When constructing the APAA physical model, definitions of failures of the radiating channel and the antenna array as a whole were formulated. Key parameters of the APAA were chosen: radiation power, gain in transmission and the top level of the near side lobes. This has made it possible to formulate generalized criteria of failure of the APAA operating in the modes of transmission and reception as well as determine the permissible number

The cooling of proton exchange membranes fuel cell (PEMFC) is one of the crucial components in the heat management of a fuel cell. This paper presents three cooling channels of PEMFC: linear, serpentine and heat pipe. The cooling geometric models are proposed for the three cooling channels, respectively, and the corresponding temperature distributed diagrams are derived under steady state by SINDA/FLUINT. From the simulation, the linear cooling channel of PEMFC renders local overheating inside the cell under the same conditions, obviously. It is also observed that the serpentine cooling channe

Colony-wide feeding currents are a common feature of many bryozoan colonies. These feeding currents are centered on excurrent macular chimneys that expel previously filtered water away from the colony surface. In some bryozoans these macular chimneys consist of a branching channel network that converges at a point in the center of the chimney. The bifurcating channels of the maculae are analogous to a stream channel network in a closed basin with centripetal drainage. The classical methods of stream channel network analysis from geomorphology are here used to quantitatively analyze the number

Purpose: This paper presents the design and analysis of rectangular patch antenna that can be reconfigured in frequency for the three non-overlapping channels of the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
Methodology: To achieve this, a patch model in which four Pin diodes are introduced into the radiating structure, two operating in switching (ON / OFF) and two others kept blocked throughout operation has been proposed. By using as radiating element a copper hob placed on a substrate of the FR4_Epoxy type. The so-called CST Microwave Studio simulation software was used to simulate the design antenna.

Abstract:
We report the modeling of a novel approach to passive heat transfer from electronic equipment through an enclosure wall with built-in vertical channels. This passive cooling method is based on the different temperature requirements between the enclosure surface and the internal heat-generating devices. This approach takes advantage of natural convection, known as the chimney effect, resulting from higher temperatures in vertically oriented channels. In addition to channel convection, the skin surface exposed to the environment dissipates the heat passively by both natural convection and radiat

Abstract:
Although culture does not have a general definition in the international scientific community, usually culture is consisting from life experience derivates, more or less organized, learned or created by the individuals of a population, including those images or codes needed for own interpretation (meaning) and transmitted from generation to generation. Starting with this definition as o milestone in our analysis, we can identify that the learning process has a major impact on cultural evolution. A significant role in the process of culture evolution is played by communication as the communicat
