Full textLa hipótesis general utilizada en la investigación decía: El programa radiofónico de IRFEYAL no utiliza "estrategias interactivas" con eficacia en los tres componentes metodológicos: clase radiofónica, módulo escrito y profesor orientador, en consecuencia la participación y el aprendizaje de los alumnos adultos son limitados.
Algunas conclusiones del estudio fueron los siguientes:
1. Las clases radiofónicas, que parecían en sí cautivantes y estimuladoras del aprendizaje, no cumplían su papel de acuerdo con el método pedagógico de IRFEYAL. Los problemas de emisión y la falta de secuencias limitaban su capacidad de interacción o de influencia recíproca entre el profesor locutor y la audiencia estudiantil. El programa había perdido la capacidad para permitir el acceso de los estudiantes adultos a un aprendizaje efectivo y de buena calidad.
2. No obstante, la clase radiofónica procuraba incentivar al alumno a pensar, a estudiar, a rellenar el módulo escrito y a participar en el intercambio semanal.
The objective of this doctoral thesis consisted of analyzing the efficacy of the strategies of the interactive communication of the radiophonic class of the Radiophonic Institute Faith and Happiness, IRFEYAL, from Quito, Equator.
The general hypothesis utilized in the research said: The radiophonic program of IRFEYAL does not utilize "interactive strategies" with efficacy in the three methodological components: radiophonic class, module written and tutorial teacher, consequently the participation and the learning of the adult students are limited.
Some conclusions of the study went the following:
1. The radiophonic classes, that seemed in itself enjoyable and stimulated of the learning, they did not comply their role according to the pedagogical method of IRFEYAL. The problems of emission and the lack of sequences limited their capacity of interaction or of reciprocal influence among the speecher teacher and the student audience. The program had lost the capacity to permit the access of the adult students to an effective learning and of good quality.
2. Nevertheless, the radiophonic class tried of encourage the student to think, to study, to fill the module written and to participate in the weekly exchange.

Full textEn la presente investigación exploratoria descriptiva, se plantea la importancia de estudiar la relación radio comunitaria – identidad, desde la perspectiva de las mediaciones sociales y culturales, utilizando principalmente el aparataje teórico de Jesús Martín-Barbero. Este paradigma de comprensión actual, nos permitirá conocer las relaciones que se entretejen entre las “lógicas productivas” de los radialistas y las “lógicas de los usos” de sus radioescuchas, las cuales nos llevarán a analizar el tipo de identidades que la radio comunitaria pone en escena y activa, así como la importancia de la dimensión local en el estudio de estas. El caso de estudio seleccionado corresponde a la radio comunitaria Konciencia, ubicada en la localidad de Rosario, comuna de Rengo, la cual posee un discurso crítico y propositivo sobre los temas que aquejan a su territorio, y cuenta con una alta participación ciudadana. Se utilizó un enfoque cualitativo etnográfico y contextual, haciendo uso de observación participante y de entrevistas semiestructuradas, también se recurrió a información municipal y fuentes históricas. A partir de estas estrategias, se realizó la caracterización de la localidad, de la práctica de los radialistas y de las prácticas de los radioescuchas, lo cual nos llevó a identificar un discurso aglutinador de identidades que dentro de la diversidad de gustos e intereses, recurre a lo local como referente de identificación

Full textLa presente investigación surgió a partir de la interrogante de cómo los niños y niñas construyen su niñez en La Legua. Se partió de la consideración que la noción de niñez ha estado tradicionalmente hegemonizada desde el mundo adulto, que le ha otorgado características naturalistas y esencialistas asociadas a la desvalorización y la incapacidad, teniendo como efectos el desconocimiento de otras formas de niñez distintas a la hegemónica adultocéntrica y que no se construyan significados y sentidos de la niñez desde los propios niños y niñas; sin embargo lo que se ha indagado en contextos informales y en estudios sobre participación y protagonismo infantil en Chile y Latinoamérica es que los niños y las niña son actores y actrices dentro de un colectivo en el cual participan de la construcción de lo social, de su propia experiencia y conceptualización de su niñez. Para poder conocer en conjunto con los niños y niñas como participan en la construcción de sus significados y sentidos de niñez es que se consideró incorporar una metodología activa de talleres de radio semiestructurados, basada en los principios de la Investigación Acción Participativa que permitieron producir cómo, en colectivo, los niños y niñas reconstruyen y producen la categoría niñez. Los participantes de los talleres de radio fueron niños y niñas de tercero básico de una escuela municipal de La Legua, comuna de San Joaquín en Santiago de Chile. De esta manera, se pudo reconstruir las prácticas, los sentidos y los posicionamientos de la niñez, presentando como resultados: la vinculación que tienen con su barrio y relaciones vecinales, más que con cualquier otra institución; que su propia acción colectiva es un proceso valorado por los niños y las niñas y que sus relaciones interpersonales no escapan al modelo hegemónico adultocéntrico, sin embargo que en sus propias acciones también hay prácticas alternativas emergentes que los posiciona desde una mira crítica sobre sí mismo y su entorno

Full textThe thesis investigates the Community Radio in Chile in order to describe and understand the processes by which individuals and communities come together around these projects in an associative action that reflects the depth of social relations and cultural communities in which they are embedded. Observe how they operate and how they see their development actors and projections. Explores the community experiences as an exercise of the Right to Communication; examines the processes of community radio in Latin America and emphasizes the process of creation, development and projection of these movements in Chile. Collects information about how these radios operate in the country, the legal grounds for their existence and technical and human parameters that carry out its task. From the conversation with their managers and operators, seeking the reasons that lead them to undertake and participate in these projects, establishing relations with the community, with other stations and with other social and civic organizations, as well as personal motivations that incite to get involved. The research is qualitative, exploratory and descriptive, using quantitative and qualitative tools for data collection. Census Cadastre one universe to identifiable community radio in Chile, within the constraints of lack of reliable databases on the number and location of stations to air and vast geography of the country was applied. This inquiry yielded the information to develop qualitative semi-structured interview instrument. The thesis works with the eyes of those who operate community radio in Chile, as a way of assessing the meeting spaces that occur in these stations. The research examines, describes and explains the operation of community radio, studying the case in the regions Metropolitan, V, VIII, IX and XIV, determining the technical, legal and sustainability challenges they face in the framework of changes and adjustments in the digital age. Presents and discusses the concepts of Right to Communication, community communication and ponders a look at these processes from constructs such as liquid modernity Bauman (2010) and citizenship of Balibar (2013). Quantitatively examines the information radios in 8 regions of Chile and qualitatively analyzed information from semi-structured interviews applied in 5 regions of Central, South Central and South, with the support of software Atlas.ti, whose theoretical genesis is in the Grounded Theory developed by Glasser and Strauss (1967) and Strauss and Corbin (2002) Concluded by stressing that prevails in the community drive the constant struggle for existence, the maintenance of its history as an instrument of protest social, political and cultural processes, all in the context of restrictive legislation of the Chilean state, which effectively prevents impedes their freedom of action. Sets, examines and analyzes the discursive variables that make up its links with the communities to which they are addressed, the forms of association between these stations and their communities, the use of web 2.0 technologies and their limitations, among others. Discover and relieves the value of personal and emotional actions of its managers to keep their projects into the air.

Full textInvestigations have growing evidence that school feeding contributes to get a better disposal of students to learn. Globally, school feeding is part of public policies to achieve quality education. In Peru school feeding is a right referred to in article 4th of Law No. 28044, General Law of Education and to enforce it was created in 2012 the National School Feeding Programme (NEAP), Warma Qali. Since its creation, Qali Warma has presented a number of reported cases of poisoning and service problems, which have become communicational crisis, which have had a reactive rather than strategic approach. This limitation hasn’t allowed the Communication and Image Unit of Qali Warma analyze whether their strategies used are the most appropriate to achieve the positioning of program in its target audiences. This work has focused on the communication component, considering that communication contributes to the participation and empowerment of social actors who are part of the program, through the dissemination of information and messages. But a communication focused on developing strategies for using media closer to the populations most social interest for the program, they are mobilizing, participatory and educators such as Community Radio. The objective of this research is to describe and analyze the factors that limit the positioning of NEAP Qali Warma, emphasizing the limitations to use community radios, as strategic partners in their communication plans so as to contribute to the implementation peruvian policy of social inclusion. The development of this research involved resort to qualitative techniques. interviews with 22 people including Chami Radio listeners, communicators Qali Warma program and representatives of community radios were made. To do this, it’s taken as the unit of analysis Otuzco in the mountains of La Libertad, where the Association Chami radio station operates with a community vision whose listeners have children or family Qali Warma program users. Research has given findings relevant to Social Management, as it has known the importance of communication dimension for positioning programs and development projects and has revealed the limitations that exist for the use of community radio communication in plans for social programs. Also, it has shown that the communication strategy of the program and its messages are having an effect on the primary target audience of the program and on the other hand, there is a growing demand for information. As well, It has put in evidence that far from existing a promotion of the use of community radio in social programs, there are limitations of legal and technical standards that put them at a disadvantage compared to other media, even though it has been demonstrated by this investigation tuning preference they have in the communities where they operate. These findings have led to submit a proposal for improvement through design guidelines of a Communication Plan for Qali Warma program for processing it intends to use the tools of communication for development, taking into account their design cycle project and participatory approaches intercultural and rights, and contemplating participation strategies in order to achieve that all stakeholders are committed to the program in order to ensure their sustainability over time.

Full textLos jóvenes son agentes clave a considerar para la consolidación, fortalecimiento y desarrollo de sus comunidades, cumpliendo un rol primordial en los procesos de mitigación de vulnerabilidades psicosociales, territoriales y político-económicas ante desastres socionaturales. En este trabajo, se presenta la sistematización de una experiencia de Investigación-Acción-Participativa (IAP) por medio de un taller de producción de programas radiales en el Chaitén post-erupción volcánica. Se observan como primeros resultados, la generación de nuevos conocimientos y prácticas para la superación de vulnerabilidades ante desastres socionaturales desde los propios jóvenes chaiteninos, quienes han iniciado un proceso exitoso de participación y organización comunitaria. Se han visto fortalecidas las capacidades de colaboración, toma de decisiones e intervención sobre los aspectos de su propia vida. Como conclusión, los lineamientos centrales de este trabajo exponen la importancia de la realización de un diagnóstico comunitario profundo, bajo un diseño flexible y en conjunto con una implementación creativa y emergente, atravesados por procesos constantes de reflexión y acción de las prácticas investigativas-interventivas

Full textThis work seeks to provoke and enlarge the discussion about the community radios in Brazil. Even though this is a hot topic nowadays, it has not been properly investigated in the context of scientific communication. The objective of the paper was to demonstrate how the economic, social, and political indicators of Brazil influenced the organization of a strong popular movement aimed at the democratization and distribution of radio stations in this country. The paper will discuss the interest of politicians and entrepreneurs in obtaining the license to broadcast, given the potentiality of the radio to exert influence upon the society, transforming this mass communication medium into a vertical medium, questioned by many, mainly by the people. We will speak and make a brief discussion of the main articles of the Law of the Community Radios, created under popular pressure by the Brazilian Government to regulate the community communication.

This research, entitled "Promotion of citizenship through community radios of Grande ABCD Paulista, under challenges and political confrontations," studies eleven community radios authorized by the Ministry of Communications for the Grande ABCD Paulista. In the region, five cities, of the seven existing houses there community radios, as in Diadema (radios “Navegantes” and “Nova Diadema”); in Mauá (radios “Mauá” and “Z”); in Ribeirão Pires (radio “Pérola da Serra”); in Rio Grande da Serra (radio “Esplanada”) and in São Bernardo do Campo (the radios “Lírio dos Vales”, “Nova Riacho”, “Paraty”, “Princesa” and “Represa”). The other two cities of that region, Santo André and São Caetano do Sul, community stations are not authorized to register and there is none functioning. The aim of this study is to reveal the shape of the mentioned broadcasters; the contribution they provide to the promotion of citizenship and social inclusion; their structural operational issues for survival and actions to overcome these issues. The methodology used consists of bibliographic research, desk research, interviews, visits to the radios and programming study. It was studied the history of the region; the concepts of citizenship; participation; community broadcasting and the trajectory of the broadcasters. As a result, there was a query on official institutions for knowledge of community radios operating with permission in Grande ABCD Paulista. Later, followed the search several observation visits. The interviews had semi-structured features with the broadcasters and other subjects for this job, experts on this theme. It was concluded that there are numerous difficulties that the eleven community stations from Grande ABCD Paulista face to be able to keep operating radio stations. Maintenance of troubles occurs primarily by the force of legislation responsible for such community radio segment, which prevents you from getting commercial support and sponsorship.
Esta pesquisa, intitulada “Promoção da cidadania pelas rádios comunitárias do ABCD Paulista, sob desafios e enfrentamentos políticos”, estuda 11 rádios comunitárias autorizadas pelo Ministério das Comunicações para funcionamento no Grande ABCD Paulista. Na região, cinco cidades das sete ali existentes abrigam rádios comunitárias, como Diadema (rádios “Navegantes” e “Nova Diadema”); Mauá (rádios “Mauá” e “Z”); Ribeirão Pires (rádio “Pérola da Serra”); Rio Grande da Serra (rádio “Esplanada”) e São Bernardo do Campo (rádios “Lírio dos Vales”, “Nova Riacho”, “Paraty”, “Princesa” e “Represa”). As outras duas cidades daquele território, Santo André e São Caetano do Sul, não registram emissoras comunitárias autorizadas para funcionamento. O objetivo deste estudo é o de revelar o perfil das mencionadas emissoras; a contribuição que oferecem aos processos da promoção de cidadania e inclusão social; seus problemas operacionais estruturais para sobrevivência e reações para superação. A metodologia utilizada consiste em pesquisa bibliográfica, pesquisa documental, entrevistas, visitas às rádios e estudo de programação. Estudou-se o histórico da região; os conceitos de cidadania; participação; radiodifusão comunitária e a própria trajetória das emissoras. Na sequência, houve a consulta em instituições oficiais para o conhecimento das rádios comunitárias autorizadas para funcionamento no ABCD. Posteriormente, seguiu-se a pesquisa com várias visitas de observação. As entrevistas tiveram características semiestruturadas com os radialistas e demais depoentes para este trabalho, especialistas na presente temática. Concluiu-se que existem inúmeras dificuldades que as 11 emissoras comunitárias do ABCD Paulista enfrentam para conseguir manter as rádios funcionamento. A manutenção das dificuldades se dá principalmente pela força da legislação responsável por tal segmento radiofônico comunitário, que o impede de obter apoio comercial e patrocínios.

Full textThe management of public goods is an issue that concerns municipal communities, municipalities and community radios, which seek inclusive management strategies of public goods. One of the strategic ways of managing these assets is the constitution of partnerships between community entities in search of a shared management that foresees the participation of all as subjects of the process. This thesis addresses the issue of Partnerships between Community Radios and Municipalities as a shared municipal management strategy. Case study of Chimoio´s Municipality, Sussendenga district and community radio of Sussendenga and GESOM. The study takes as frameworks the debate about community communication, municipal communication, shared management, participation, social mobilization, municipal identity, public communication, community radios and third sector organizations. This framework is drawing with aim of bringing relationships between those concepts and their contribution to the shared management of both community radios and municipalities, towards inclusive local development. To this end, a multi-case study is use in order to analyzes the partnerships between community radio stations and municipalities, where the study investigate how they contribute to the shared management of municipal and communal public goods. The study also question, how they contribute to the engagement of municipal communities management for this assets. Though, this research apply quantitative perspective, it is qualitative study in its nature, where it seeks to understand: how the relations between community radios, municipalities and municipal communities are intertwined with aim for shared management of municipal and community public goods. For data collection, the study used Interviews (with members of municipal councils and members of community radios) and questionnaires (for members of municipal communities). Taking into account the problem, objectives and literature review five categories were appointed: Municipal communication as a strategy to mobilize communities for the shared management of the municipality; The community participation in municipal management: shared management as strategic; Community radio as strategic for mobilization of the community shared management; Participation of the community in shared management of community radio: a shared management strategic and Partnerships between Community radio and municipality as a community mobilization strategic for shared management Through interviews, the questionnaires, the radio program grid, the normative documents of the municipal councils and the review of the literature, the research concluded that the current municipal communication of the two municipalities do not allow municipal communities to participate in the decisions. It also deny to the communities to know what is going on within municipal and let the communities to understand municipal problems and actions. The study shows that it result of lack of an organized structure which can promote municipal communication (municipal communication offices). On the other hand, the current form of municipal governance does not open space for shared management. It because the types of participation installed between municipalities and municipal communities is configured as manipulative, passive and informative. Looking at community radio stations, the research concluded that new approach is required needed for the community radio stations run by the State through the ICS. These community radios should be designated as public community radios, because their management depends, mainly, on the State, although they have some volunteer members of the communities. The two community radios do not have in their grid programs to mobilize the community to participate in the management of municipal and communal public goods. In addition, the communities did not elect the members who are in charge of community radio stations. Finally, the research concluded that the current partnerships between the two community radios and the two municipalities are commercial based. This partnership is not for the promotion of shared management of community public goods because either in community radios or municipality mission does not come. In addition to that, there is a lack of knowledge of what public and private means within municipal communities.

Resumo: Esta pesquisa anaiisa e compara alguns dos principais projetos de democmtização dos meios de comunicação, desenvolvidos no Brasil, principalmente durante o período da chamada "transição democrática" na década de 80. Estes projetos geraram discursos sobre a democracia roas comunicações e seus aspectos políticos, econômicos, jurídicos, relacionados aos movimentos populares de apropriação dessas tecnologias, formam o tema central desta pesquisa. O objeto de estudo são as chamadas rádios liwes e comunitárias, e através delas a pesquisa inicia a observação de alguns dos principais problemas existentes para a consolidação da comunicação democrática no Brasil

Full textEsta investigación explora cómo la instauración a nivel global de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación ha permitido que sus herramientas también queden al alcance de comunidades locales, quienes las han utilizado para generar relatos y discursos por fuera de la hegemonía cultural que impone el mercado. Esta investigación analiza ámbitos como la Globalización, Sociedad Global, Industrias Culturales, Comunicación de Masas, Comunicación Comunitaria y Cambio Social, para confrontarlos con la realidad de dos medios comunitarios, uno en Colombia y otro en Chile. Mediante entrevistas grupales e individuales a los integrantes de estos medios, se buscó reconocer el modo en que usan, aplican e integran las nuevas tecnologías de la información. Para finalmente analizar la relación que establecen entre el uso de estas tecnologías y la posibilidad de generar cambios sociales en sus propias comunidades locales.

Full textThis thesis addresses the relation between working-class groups and the practice known as “community communication”, through the ethnographic description of Radio Comunitaria “Doña María”, of Paraná city (Entre Ríos, Argentina). Using social network analysis, we followed the fluctuations of this community-based radio station during the past twenty years up until its transformation into a broadcaster centered on church-related matters. The ethnographic process carried us from an initial preoccupation about manners of expression in working-class groups through the use of communication technologies, to a strong concern with institutional intervention processes which seem to be characteristic of “community communication” -- processes led in this case by the Catholic Church in the figure of Franciscan nuns. On the other hand, a consideration of the Brazilian scenario of “community communication” –considered paradigmatic of the Latin American context- allows us to understand the transnational dimension of this phenomenon and how much the events in radio “Doña María” are related to institutional vicissitudes of the Catholic Church as a global actor. In fact, this research seeks to deepen our comprehension of the meanings that organize such intervention, in the religious, social, and political spheres, through the execution of daily activities that articulate local and global logics, and suggest a conceptualization of “community communication” as a transnational social technology.
Esta tesis constituye una investigación sobre la relación entre grupos populares y prácticas denominadas de “comunicación comunitaria”, a través del estudio etnográfico del proceso de la Radio Comunitaria “Doña María”, de la ciudad de Paraná (Entre Ríos, Argentina). Al seguir los vaivenes de la emisora barrial a lo largo de veinte años hasta convertirse en una radio religiosa, a través de un análisis en términos de redes sociales, el proceso etnográfico nos condujo desde una indagación inicial por las posibilidades y modos de expresión de los grupos populares a través de las tecnologías comunicacionales hacia una fuerte preocupación por los procesos de intervención institucionales característicos del campo de la llamada “comunicación comunitaria”, en este caso protagonizado por la Iglesia Católica en la figura de un proyecto franciscano. Por otra parte, la aproximación al panorama brasilero de la “comunicación comunitaria” -paradigmático en el escenario latinoamericano- posibilita comprender la dimensión transnacional de tal proceso y cuánto de lo acontecido en la radio “Doña María” es producto de los devenires institucionales de la Iglesia Católica como actor global. En síntesis, la investigación intenta profundizar la comprensión sobre los sentidos que organizan tal intervención, tanto desde lo religioso como desde lo social y político, a través de prácticas cotidianas que articulan lógicas locales y globales, y que sugieren la conceptualización de la “comunicación comunitaria” como una tecnología social de carácter transnacional.

Este trabajo busca analizar el significado de la relación entre los jóvenes y el movimiento de radios comunitarias, así como su consecuencia en el área de los valores constitutivos de las identidades sociales juveniles. Tiene como objetivo principal analizar la participación de los jóvenes en la organización de una radio comunitaria de la ciudad de João Pessoa. Para ello, observa las relaciones establecidas entre el trabajo cotidiano de la radio y del barrio, para que, de esa manera, si puedan identificar elementos que se articulan y actúan en la construcción de las identidades de los jóvenes.
O presente trabalho busca analisar o significado da relação entre jovens e movimento de rádios comunitárias e seu reflexo na área dos valores constituintes das identidades sociais juvenis. Tem como foco a participação de jovens na organização de uma rádio comunitária da cidade de João Pessoa. Il presente lavoro ha come obiettivo di verificare l esistenza nelle radio comunitarie di Serra Redonda, Alagoa Grande e Santa Luzia, di programmi realizzati dai quilombolas , individuando quale influenza esercitano questi mezzi e se essi contribuiscono a rafforzare o a disgregare le identità culturali delle comunità nere rurali. Per l analisi di queste problematiche ci si è avvalsi del supporto bibliografico dell opera di Habermas mediata dalla prospettiva ottica di studiosi brasiliani come Siebeneichler con la sua Teoria da Ação Comunicativa (Teoria dell Azione Comunicativa) e Leal che affronta la questione della riconfigurazione della Sfera Pubblica locale. Si è fatto ricorso anche alla ricerca sul campo sotto forma di interviste partecipate secondo il metodo di Peruzzo e codificandone il contenuto secondo la teoria della democratizzazione delle comunicazioni di Vergara e Bardin. La ricerca ripercorre anche il contesto storico delle radio libere in Brasile e nel mondo, evidenziando come le forze sistemiche del Neocorolenismo Elettronico si siano impadronite della comunicazione comunitaria in queste città. La richerca di campo ha rivelato che dove si può osservare un parallelismo di opinioni tra centro urbano e ambiente rurale, e di conseguenza, additare attraverso le testimonianze degli intervistati, i possibili dialoghi e vie per ritrovare la reciproca intesa ormai perduta.
O presente trabalho tem como objetivos verificar a presença nas rádios comunitárias de Serra Redonda, Alagoa Grande e Santa Luzia de programas produzidos pelos quilombolas, identificando o tipo de influência que estas mídias exercem e, se as mesmas fortalecem ou desconstroem as identidades culturais das comunidades negras rurais. Na análise da referida problemática buscou-se suporte bibliográfico na obra de Habermas sob a perspectiva dos olhares de estudiosos brasileiros: Siebeneichler na Teoria da Ação Comunicativa e Leal que aborda a questão da reconfiguração da Esfera Pública local. O material de campo foi elaborado em forma de entrevistas participativas com base em Peruzzo e codificado seu conteúdo de acordo com a temática da democratização das comunicações em Vergara e Bardin. Ainda, nesta pesquisa, traçamos o percurso e contexto histórico das rádios livres no Brasil e no mundo, discorrendo como as forças sistêmicas do novo coronelismo eletrônico se apoderaram da comunicação comunitária nestas cidades. A pesquisa de campo revelou a problemática existente entre os discursos do ser urbano e o rural e, desta perspectiva, os sujeitos falantes apontam os possíveis diálogos e caminhos para o retorno do entendimento mútuo, ora perdido.

The research intends to debate, inside a historical perspective and a sociological approach, how Chico Fotógrafo's collection can help to rescue and understand the history of Santa Isabel as a city, when it is mainly oral and fragmented. It uses the hypothesis that the city will not be able to subsist for a long time only supported by orality. Because of that, the study ensures the importance of resorting to photographic records as a historical source, so that, combined, it can preserve and the non-dissipation of the places' memory. Therefore, it concludes that during a virtual age is necessary to search for a digital media able to organize, scan and share of Chico Fotografo's material as a historical source. Also, strengthens the conclusion showing as the past photograph is disseminated and preserved, it creates a democratic process. At the end, it permits the city historical knowledge and the recognition of people as being part of it, through a experience capable of interacting image and history.
A pesquisa pretende analisar, em uma perspectiva histórica apoiada na abordagem sociológica, como o acervo fotográfico do Chico Fotógrafo pode auxiliar no resgate e na compreensão da história da cidade de Santa Isabel, em um momento em que ela é prioritariamente oral e fragmentada. Lida com a hipótese de que a história da cidade não conseguirá subsistir por muito tempo apenas estando apoiada na oralidade. Por isso, afirma ser imprescindível recorrer aos registros fotográficos, sendo estes uma fonte histórica existente no acervo encontrado, para que possam garantir a preservação e a não dissipação da memória do lugar. Conclui, assim, ser necessário buscar em uma era de virtualidades, meios digitais que possam garantir a organização, a digitalização e o compartilhamento do acervo do Chico Fotógrafo, enquanto fonte histórica da cidade de Santa Isabel. Também reforça a conclusão, mostrando que, ao disseminar as fotografias do passado e ao buscar meios de preservá-la, cria-se aí um processo democrático. Isso, por sua vez, permite o conhecimento da história da cidade e o reconhecimento do Chico Fotógrafo como sendo parte dela, por meio de uma experiência capaz de integrar imagem e história.

Full text“Latinoamérica en Sintonía Comunitaria” es el resultado de una investigación llevada a cabo en Córdoba, Belo Horizonte y Ciudad de México, como propuesta de trabajo final para la Licenciatura en Comunicación Social. Este estudio toma como objeto a las radios Sur (Argentina); Taquaril (Brasil) y Zapote (México), emisoras que presentan fuertes historias de lucha y muestran un gran compromiso social, dos elementos que representan al amplio movimiento de radios comunitarias en Latinoamérica. Entendiendo la importancia de Sur, Taquaril y Zapote como espacios de articulación, decidimos abordarlas en relación a algunas de las contribuciones que realizan a la construcción de ciudadanía en sus contextos particulares. En este sentido, el trabajo describe en profundidad, mediante una investigación in situ, las motivaciones que dieron origen a cada emisora, sus relaciones con el Estado y con los marcos normativos de cada país, y las formas de vincularse con sus respectivas comunidades. El trabajo se sustenta en la concepción de la comunicación como una herramienta fundamental para la transformación social y se presenta como una invitación para adentrarse en los universos simbólicos de Sur, Taquaril y Zapote.
