Community Radio (CR) in Indonesia has emerged as a media that able to disseminate information to audience. Since this function can not be fullfiled by both private and public radios, CR is important for audience especially for those who lives in remote or even blank spot area. However, Government regulation on CR is feared to deprive the existence of CR. The regulation ranging from limitation of frequency allocation, criteria on coverage area and limited emmitance strength compare to public and private radios. This imply that the Government has never supported the existence of Community Radio.

We describe the nature of the interference challenges facing radio astronomy in the next decade. These challenges will not be solved by regulation only, negotiation and mitigation will become vital. There is no silver bullet for mitigating against interference. A successful mitigation approach is most likely to be a hierarchical or progressive approach throughout the telescope and signal conditioning and processing systems. We summarise some of the approaches, including adaptive systems.

This dissertation re-examines a particular period of American broadcasting regulation in the 1920s, namely the "chaos" period traditionally labeled as the brief time in between the breakdown of federal radio regulation in early 1926 and the passage of the Radio Act of 1927. Using the ideas of heteroglossia and vernacular discourse drawn respectively from Mikhail Bakhtin and Gerard Hauser, I argue that the media scholarship understanding of chaos needs to be expanded beyond the conventional interpretation of a fatalistic moment which inevitably resulted in the support for broadcast commercializ

While localism is a particularly important aspect of Congress' mandate that broadcasters serve "the public interest, convenience or necessity," the history of US radio broadcasting exhibits persistent tensions between nationalism and localism, which have intensified in recent decades. Today's British commercial radio environment consists of over three hundred local, regional and national radio stations. Many operate a concentrated music format, designed to meet the demands of a defined target audience. This is in contrast to the commercial radio model in existence between 1973 and 1990, where local stations were required, as part oftheir contract, to broadcast speech-based programming, in addition to music, to a wider audience profile. One reason for speech programming on commercial stations was the strict regulation laid down by the Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA)

Local therapy with radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is an important method for treating liver tumors mostly in early stage, which has been increasingly used in recent years. Two key functions performed by regulatory agencies are identified: law-elaboration and law-application. Law-elaboration is a quasi-legislative power which involves both the making of policy and the subsequent articulation of that policy through rule-making. Law-application entails the application of those rules in individual decisions. It is argued t
