One way to diagnose disease can be done by radiological examination. However, the lack of public knowledge regarding radiological examinations to diagnose disease makes people afraid of carrying out radiological examinations because of the radiation effects they may receive. The aim of the service activities carried out for women in the scope of empowering family welfare in Tegorejo Village, Pegandon, Kendal, Central Java Province is regarding education on radiological examinations to enforce disease diagnoses using the lecture method. The reason for the interest in the problem of facial and maxillofacial injuries (CJS) is the increase in the number of injuries to the tissue structures of the face and brain, which is characterized by uncertainty of consequences and difficulty of treatment outcome. Occurrence of neurological deficits in the post-injury period disrupts patients’ social adjustment. The serious consequences of acute joint facial injuries make it one of the social problems of national and global importance.

A general overview of the existing radioactive inventory in the plant is necessary for the decommissioning of nuclear power plants. Based on the knowledge about radiological inventory, appropriate decommissioning techniques and procedures can be specifically used. In order to derive the existing radiological activity in the facility a study was carried out to obtain a representative overview of the total radiological situation at the NPP. Within a study a generic methodology for the radiological characterization was developed. This methodology has been applied on the CO2-circuit of the gas-coo

Abstract:
In the nuclear industry, and in particular, regarding large steel components including the nuclear steam supply system, weld integrity must be assessed and confirmed during the fabrication process, for the initial field-welds and periodically during in-service follow-up of some critical assembly welds. In France, this quality control is prescriptively carried out via nondestructive inspections in accordance with the RCCM code primarily via X-Ray Radiography or Gammagraphy (RT) coupled to conventional ultrasound (C-UT). These two techniques are integrated into code inspection requirements since

Abstract:
Cystic lesions of neck containing thymic tissue are rare and usually difficult to diagnose. Postulated hypothesis for this entity is the persistence and/or degeneration of thymopharyngeal duct derived from pharyngeal pouch endoderm. We report a unique case of persistent thymopharyngeal duct which was diagnosed antenatally at 30 weeks’ gestation, and it preserved its connection with the pharynx. Postnatal radiological studies were non-specific and misleading, and diagnosis was confirmed by histological examination of the excised specimen.

Abstract:
INTRODUCTION: Hydatid Cyst is a zoonotic infection caused by the larval form of parasite tapeworm Ecchinococcus granulosus. It is most commonly found in liver and rarely found in the spleen. It presents with vague symptoms and usually grows slowly. In this report we describe a rare advanced presentation of a splenic echinococcosis mimicking malignancy. CASE REPORT: A 16yr old female patient presenting with complaints of pain in left lumbar region since three months. Preliminary examination showed splenomegaly with tenderness. Abdominal CT scan showed evidence of well dened, round peripherally

Abstract:
Introduction and Importance: Pyogenic liver abscess (PLA) is an uncommon postoperative complication of Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB). Radiological investigations such as abdominal ultrasonography (USG) and computed tomography (CT) are crucial to evaluate and diagnose intra-abdominal abscesses, especially hepatic collections. Case Presentation: A 66-year-old female patient with multiple comorbidities, including urticaria requiring monoclonal antibody therapy (humera). She underwent an uneventful RYGB to treat her weight regain and reflux after a prior sleeve gastrectomy and presented with dif

Review question / Objective: The purpose of this systematic review was to systematically review the clinical studies regarding miRNAs as diagnostic biomarkers for inflammatory bowel disease and assess the overall diagnostic accuracy of miRNAs. Condition being studied: The symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) are highly variable. The diagnosis of IBD must be made through medical history, physical, laboratory, radiologic, endoscopic, and histological examinations. However, these diagnostic techniques are not specific and sometimes even equivocal. Therefore, reliable biomarkers are urgent

Abstract:
Background : Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is increasingly recognized as a cause of chronic liver disease, and often results in the devastating outcomes of decompensated liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma and is an important feature of metabolic syndromes and insulin resistance. The assessment of liver brosis is essential for predicting the prognosis and outcome of all forms of chronic liver disease. A liver biopsy is the gold standard for the assessment of liver brosis, but it has its limitations, which include life-threatening complications. Alternative methods of non-

Background Lung cancer is the number one cause of cancer death worldwide.(1) It is the fifth most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia (12,741 cases diagnosed in 2018) and the leading cause of cancer death.(2) The number of years of potential life lost to lung cancer in Australia is estimated to be 58,450, similar to that of colorectal and breast cancer combined.(3) While tobacco control strategies are most effective for disease prevention in the general population, early detection via low dose computed tomography (LDCT) screening in high-risk populations is a viable option for detecting asy
