Rak v nosečnosti je na srečo redek pojav. Ker pa se starost nosečnic pomika v pozno rodno dobo (35-45 let), pričakujmo, da bo incidenca še rasla. Med nosečnostjo se lahko pojavi katerikoli rak, daleč najpogostejši pa so rak dojke (0,05-0,1% vseh nosečnosti), maligni melanom, rak ščitnice ter rak debelega črevesa in danke.Pogosto se pri nosečnici z rakom pojavi vprašanje o indukciji splava. Rak dojk je najpogostejši rak pri ženskah. Povprečna starostno standardizirana incidenca (glede na svetovno stardardno populacijo) je v letu 2008 v Evropski skupnosti znašala 70,7. Leta 2003 je Evropska skupnost izdala direktivo o izvajanju presejalnih programov po načelih dobre prakse. Prednost presejalnega programa je, da se rak odkrije v zgodnjejši fazi, ko so možnosti zdravljenja in ozdravitve večje. We provide a toolkit for efficient online estimation of heterogeneous agent (HA) New Keynesian (NK) models based on Sequential Monte Carlo methods. We use this toolkit to compare the out-of-sample forecasting accuracy of a prominent HANK model, Bayer et al. We study the impact on learning of a child's rank in the classroom using a unique experiment from Ecuador. Within each school, students were randomly assigned to classrooms in every grade between kindergarten and 6th grade. Therefore, two students with the same ability can have different classroom ranks because of the (random) peer composition of their classroom. To isolate the impact of rank from other peer influences we include classroom fixed effects. The term Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) is used to designate a material obtained from the removal of pavement materials. RAP is used across the US in multiple applications, largely on asphalt pavement layers. RAP can be described as a uniform granular non-plastic material, with a very low percentage of fines.
