Full textAbstract: we distinguish three steps within the research: the first : it treats meteorological hasards. We tried to study the climatical conditions that governs the cycle of water, who are the motor of ras el maa hydrological regime. The precipitation is one of the factors which has a certain influence on ras el maa annual discharge. The second : we took the studies factors in relations with gensisflow. The drainage basin is very simple, it has two homogenous and different unities : 1-the limestone mountain. 2-the lower country with flysch. Every unity has its geological and geomorphological structure, in its relation with the channel network. The third : we studied her, temporal discontinuities to solve a wide range of hydrological problems is that of hydrographonalysis. We analized the hydrological phases for the determination of the hydrological regime on the ras el maa spring. The results give information about hydrological comportement, it depands on the climatical, geomorphological factors in the drainage basin. In the way, the ras el maa spring translats the geographical data together on the ras el maa basin

Full textIn the year 1751, after the first mining operations were nationalized, mining was continuously practiced in the Saarland coal basin until the year 2012. Since the late 18th century, the miners in the Saar region created many kinds of maps, to document the geology, the mineral deposit and all mining activities. Several thousand mining maps on very difficult drawing papers are keeping in many cupboards with much more drawers. After the extraction all the documents from the individual mines were merged into one site with the aim to create a dedicated room, were the documents can remain with an artful computer-system to locate the accomodated mining maps. Only by this way an optimal use of the archive arias for operating shedules or historical researches is henceforth possible. This article describes the planning phase from the basic evaluation about the development of a storage strategy, the civil engineering planning, the construction implementation as well as the conversion of the mining maps from the previous storage to the new location by using a special computerized mapfinder-system

Full textDuring the opening of the Neotethys Ocean north of the Ghadames and Jeffara basin, an extensional phase created subsidence. It resulted in the deposition of the first syn-rift strata aged Middle to Upper Permian (El Watiah formation) and Lower to Middle Triassic (Bir el Jaja, Ouled Chebbi and Ras Hamia / Kirchaou formations). This study provides details of the stratigraphic and sequential architecture of triassic siliciclastic series and the upper clastic part of the El Watiah formation. 221 wells and 18 sedimentological field sections (outcrops from south Tunisia) have been correlated across the entire Ghadames basin and Jeffara. An organization in 11 sequences has been highlighted. 28 isochores and paleogeographic maps have been drawn. In terms of tectonostratigraphy, a major thickening of sequences has been confirmed toward the North of Jeffara, resulting from a very strong and differential subsidence. Low and subtle differential subsidence has been demonstrated in the southern part of the basin. In addition, a new sedimentological interpretation of the TAGI formation (lateral equivalent of the ladinian Ras Hamia formation) has been considered in the El Borma area

Full textThe development of a commercial high density (HD) SNP chip of 600,000 SNPs enabled the implementation of genomic selection in layer and broiler. However, genotyping costs with this tool still remain high for a routine use on the selection candidates. Concurrently, new sequencing technologies (NGS) allow to consider other solutions than SNP chip for genomic selection. One of the main goal of genomic selection is to develop less expensive tools for genotyping or sequencing the selection candidates. Then, from the HD genotypes of a reference population, it is possible with different imputation methods to deduce the HD genotypes of the candidates. Firstly, the aim was to investigate the impact of different factors concerning the development of low density SNPchips or the constitution of the reference population on imputation accuracy. The impact of the use or not of imputation on genomic evaluation was also studied. The results showed that an equidistant methodology, for a SNP density higher than 5K, is suitable to get good imputation accuracy and good genomic evaluation accuracy. For an SNP density higher than 5K, it is also possible to use low density SNP chips without imputation.Low density genotypes were then replaced by genotypes from simulated RAD-Seq methods. Depending on the restriction enzyme used, studies have shown that RAD-Seq methods could be an interesting alternative to low density SNP chips

Full textAlthough its efficacy in various species (rabbit, pig, mouse,…) and various organs (kidney, liver heart, lung), Postconditioning (PostC) can be limited by many factors such as the necessity of its application in the initiation of the reperfusion. The objective of our work was to evaluate the protection by low pressure reperfusion (LPR) with delayed intervention at reperfusion and to study the mitochondrial functions which are known to be involved in the cardioprotection. Our results showed that, contrary to PostC, LPR can protect until 10 minutes of its delayed intervention at reperfusion. This delayed protection is in correlation with mitochondrial functions, particularly, inhibition of mitochondrial transition pore (PTPm). Cyclosporine, inhibitor of PTPm, has also shown protection until 10 minutes of delayed intervention, on isolated heart rat model. PostC, like LPR, use tow sources of prodution of NO (NOS and Xanthine oxydase reductase). These results seem, to us, very important because they propose LPR as a new therapeutic window to reduce ischemia/reperfusion injury

Full textAn experimental programme has been performed on three types of bituminous mixes with variable recycling rates and the possible addition of rejuvenator. The mix composition and the production process have been defined in order to perform a comparative analysis. The coating process modifies the physico-chemical parameters of the binders, like consistency, glassy transition temperature, cristallizable moiety, aromatics and asphaltenes rates; the above variations are limited by using the rejuvenator. As the RAP content increases, the compactibility and the rutting of the mixes decrease and the viscoelastic stiffness increases, but the rejuvenation reduces these variations. Globally, RAP increases the fatigue resistance of the mixes and flattens the Wöhler curve. Rejuvenation enhances ɛ6 fatigue parameter; fatigue performances increase with R&B temperature and colloidal index of the binder and as the viscous component of the mixes decreases. The positive impact of a high rate of RAP and of the rejuvenation on the allowable traffic has been evaluated from the structural design of a threelayered pavement. At low temperature, the deterioration of the tension ductility and of the stress restrained failure temperature produced by the RAP, is limited by the rejuvenation; a compromise with the fatigue resistance has to be found. The rejuvenated mixes laid as surface layers on a provincial road have experienced a smaller evolution that non rejuvenated mixes

Full textIn the site of Ras el Bassit, during 1971 to 1984’s excavations plan, 133 amphora stamps have been found principally in the Tell du Meidan. These stamps are precious artefacts. Effectively, this dissertation shows how the amphora stamps help the archeologists to know the history of an archeological site, in this case the site of Ras el Bassit. First of all, the basic terms will be presented to explain what are an amphora and a stamp. Then, the historiography research on the amphora stamps shows that since the discovery of amphorae workshops, some stamp’s categories were dated to the year, contributing to the dating of others sites. The dating is the principal contribution of a stamp, but there are others. For example, by locating the production of stamp categories, the trade is visible. With the analysis of these 133 amphora stamps, the dating of Ras el Bassit can be reevaluated and more accurate. Moreover, knowing the origin of these stamps, it will demonstrate that the exchanges (with the amphorae with stamps) began as early as the fourth century B.C., which corresponds to a resumption of Greek imports. These imports will last throughout the Hellenistic period.

Full textABSTRACT This study investigates the Phoenician presence in North of Syria only during the first half of the Iron Age, i.e between 1000 and 500 BC. It is based on the analysis of literary and archaeological data of the coastal region, al Mina, Ras el Bassit, Tell Kazel, Tell Souka and Amrit. After a presentation of the cultural characteristics of the Phoenician civilization, I turn to the analysis of these sites. The data that can prove a Phoenician presence in the region are many and I find that the Phoenicians constituted a significant minority of the population of these sites, like the Greeks or Cypriots, and the majority being of Syrian origin. But in some cases, particularly at sites near major Phoenician capitals, it is not impossible that they were the majority. The study also illustrates the importance of the cities of North Syria in trade and cultural exchanges with other cultures of South-Eastern Mediterranean, including those of Greece, Cyprus, Cilicia and of inland Syrian.
