The purpose of the implementation of this research is to find the effectiveness of supplies raw materials, the method of analysis data used in the square is the smallest trend for planning raw materials and controling supplies use method of economic order quantity (EOQ) analyze reorder point. Analysis reorder point and safety stock. And analyzes efficiency cost of raw materials. Forecasting raw materials years 20x7 according to the smallest trend, cloth and dakron happened the difference is greater than of the target needed (according to a company); controling supplies raw materials with the methods eoq in 20x7 more effective than reservations raw materials cloth and dakron and more efficient than cost raw materials. The company should review the policy of forecasting raw material supplies that had been undertaken and make planning supplies the raw material that more accurate using the firm’s historical data and not only targeting the output production next year, so that machines production can be optimized. Considering the use of control supplies with the methods economic order quantity to companies, so this analysis can determine material reservations, supplies safety, maximum supplies to avoid the risk of running out of raw materials, because the companies often happened less dressed up a result of reservations that time is inaccurate, the lack of safety stock and the deferred the delivery of goods which often disturb the production process, by this method can prevent these things, so that the production process can run smoothly and minimize the cost of raw materials supplies.

Abstract:
A multi-period Stackelberg game is adopted to study a green procurement relationship between manufacturers and suppliers in a supply chain. The manufacturers are considered as leaders, while the suppliers are modelled as followers in this Stackelberg game. Accordingly, a mixed binary linear bi-level programming model is developed to elaborate the game in consideration of carbon tax scheme. The upper level (the leader) aims at selecting a proper number of suitable suppliers to provide heterogeneous raw materials at the lowest operational cost. The objective of the lower level (the follower) is to find optimal purchasing quantities of raw materials. In addition, two lemmas are introduced to transform the mixed linear bi-level programming model into a single level linear programming model. The numerical example illustrates that: (1) the manufacturer prefers to adopt the multiple sourcing strategy due to the flexibility; (2) keeping stable supplies and large order volumes could effectively reduce carbon emissions for the suppliers and make the supply chain greener.

Abstract:
The paper focuses on analyzing the practice of raw material supply for the export furniture manufacturing industry in Vietnam. Using statistical data and forecasting methods, we evaluate the demand for wood materials for the export furniture manufacturing industry in Vietnam, the supplies of domestic and imported wood materials as well as their origin. The results show that: (i) there will be a strong increase in the demand for wood materials in the coming years; (ii) the domestic supply from the planted forests in Vietnam is yet to meet the demand due to their poor quality and small quantity; (iii) despite that, the domestic raw materials have been improved recently; (iv) the Vietnamese enterprises show a greater concern about the origin of wood materials. From these findings, we suggested some solutions to ensure the supply of wood materials in the coming years as follows: (i) adopting detailed, systematic and scientific methods for forecasting the supply of wood materials; (ii) developing clearer policies on afforestation, exploitation and use of domestic wood materials; (iii) building a portal for the wood materials; and (iv) promoting the links between the suppliers of raw wood materials and the furniture producers.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT The production activities of a company are influenced by sufficient availability of raw materials. The availability of raw materials will be fulfilled if the supplier regularly sends raw materials in accordance with the planned delivery time. However, each supplier has different capabilities in terms of supply capacity, price, product quality, and delivery time. Determining the right supplier will help the company maintain its production process. This study aims to identify which suppliers are selected to fulfill the demand for each production period and determine allocation of raw material orders to each selected supplier. The model developed to determine selected suppliers have been an integer linear programming. The model has the objective function of minimizing the total cost which consists of purchasing, ordering and holding costs. The constraints include supplier capacity, order quantity allocation, demand, inventory balance, safety stock, timely delivery, non negative and binary. Calculation results in giving a numerical example shows that the developed model is able to select suppliers per period. The model is also able to determine the allocation of raw material orders to selected suppliers. Sensitivity analysis is done to find out which parameters are sensitive. The results of the sensitivity analysis indicate that the parameters of supplier capacity and demand are sensitive parameters. The development of the human population in the world, especially Indonesia, to date is approximately 260 million people, making Indonesia in a big challenge where Indonesia must be able to meet the domestic drug supplies needed by the community. The availability of drugs is still an obstacle in the National Health Insurance in Indonesia, this requires the role of the pharmaceutical industry in supporting drug availability by implementing good supply chain management. The focus of this discussion is to look at drug supplies in Indonesia in meeting people's needs and identify factors for production planning, production capacity and raw material procurement for the pharmaceutical industry in supporting the availability of drugs to support the National Health Insurance. This research is a descriptive study by collecting information from various literatures on pharmacy and medicines in Indonesia with a focus on the discussion of production planning, production capacity and raw material procurement and delivery to pharmaceutical companies in supporting drug availability. Because the planning for drug needs used as a basis for drug procurement is inaccurate so that pharmaceutical companies cannot make accurate production plans and the quantity of drugs for the community is inaccurate, time and unavailable at any time, the need for and procurement of materials still depends on imported raw materials from abroad around 95% with a lead time of 1-3 months so that it has the potential to deplete drug supplies and make the National Health Insurance in Indonesia worse.

Abstract:
Raw materials are a significant requirement in the production process for manufacturing companies. In meeting the needs of raw materials for the production process, most manufacturing firms rely on suppliers. Supplier selection is an essential part of manufacturing companies. From several supplier selection criteria, quality is one of the fundamental standards and is used in supplier assessment. Selecting suppliers based on the quality of their products will have a positive impact on manufacturing companies, such as increased profits through reduced operational costs and increased market share. The problem faced is the lack of accuracy in choosing qualified suppliers. In this study will compare two suppliers at manufacturing companies and pick one that has a higher capability value. Supplier selection is made by using multiple characteristic capability indexes. The Supplier will be selected by comparing the ratio of two suppliers. Numerical calculations are performed on leather suppliers in shoe companies based on bursting quality, tear strength, tensile strength and elongation. The result of the calculation can be seen that supplier B is chosen as a better supplier. Characteristics of quality will affect the production process and application of shoes.

Raw materials is a major requirement in the production process for manufacturing companies. in fulfilling the needs of raw materials for the production process, most manufacturing firms depends on suppliers. Supplier selection is an important part of manufacturing companies. From several supplier selection criteria, quality is one of the important criteria and it used in supplier assessment. Selecting suppliers based on the quality of their products will have a positive impact on manufacturing companies, such as increased profits through reduced operational costs and increased market share. In this study will compare two suppliers at manufacturing companies and choose one that has a higher capability value. The selection of suppliers is made using the yield index of Spk with a single characteristic. Supplier will be selected by comparing the yield ratio of two suppliers. Numerical calculations are performed on suppliers based on pH levels on the leather. The pH level on the leather will affect the color. A low pH may result color degradation earlier, whereas a high pH may result poor color matching.

Abstract:
With the fast growing of printing supplies industry in Shanghai, it creates a large waste stream of obsolete printing supplies and causes great pressure on the environment. The information of remanufacturing printing supplies in Shanghai is gathered and waste stream is analyzed. As a case study of original toner cartridge and remanufacturing toner cartridge is compared in the context of life cycle methodology. The results show raw materials, energy consumption and pollution emission of the remanufactured toner cartridge are less than these of original toner cartridge. Environmental loads equitant including global warming potential, acidification potential, photo-oxidant formation potential, solid waste and fume from remanufacturing toner cartridge are cut 3.61%, 3.84%, 15.24% and 22.52% comparing to original toner cartridge. Its significance is that remanufacturing printing supplies can be more profitable and less harmful to the external environment than conventional manufacturing process. It also discusses strategies for lowering the environmental burden to promote the remanufacturing printing supplies in Shanghai.

Abstract:
To be able to compete in the domestic plastic industry, small and medium-sized enterprises producing plastic need to proactively find the supply of raw materials, avoiding shortages like in the previous years. Purchasing is extremely important and will create a competitive advantage with competitors in the market, so finding suppliers will determine the success in the later stages of the production chain. With the development of the current information system, selection and evaluation have become important in order to achieve effective decision-making through optimal options. In this study, the authors provide a new approach for decision-makers in evaluating and selecting suppliers, which is formulated based on the supply chain operation reference (SCOR) model, fuzzy analytic network process (FANP), and VIseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR). The contribution of this research is to propose a multicriteria decision-making model (MCDM) for raw material supplier selection in the plastic industry. This research also provided a useful guideline for supplier selection in other industry.

Abstract:
The polymeric adhesives for the installation of basalt elements on a metal base are designed primarily for environments with increased chemical and mechanical stress. They are composed of polymer resins (epoxy, polyurethane) as binders, as well as organic additives and mineral admixtures that mainly fulfill the function of filler. In all sectors of today's construction industry, maximum efficiency in the production of materials is required for sustainability purposes, which, however, must never be at the expense of the quality or the required performance. Due to these requirements, great emphasis is placed on the maximum use of secondary raw materials. Talc is used as the primary filler for polymer adhesives. Sawdust, tire rubber, and fly ash are used as secondary raw materials. The use of these in building supplies can positively affect some physical and mechanical properties of polymeric adhesives. Also, the use of secondary raw materials has the above-mentioned ecological benefit. Basic properties, such as bulk density and adhesion to both metallic and basalt elements, were monitored. The details of the cohesion of the adhesive with the bonded material, as well as the distribution of secondary raw materials in the polymer matrix, were assessed microscopically.

Abstract:
The light industry is one of the basic strategic segments of the national economy, providing for 5.0% of budget revenues and 2.6% of Ukrainian merchandise exports, and, therefore, has a considerable potential for further development. The purpose of the article is to identify problems and peculiarities of the light industry development in Ukraine on the basis of a statistical comparison with EU countries. According to the research results, the systemic negative dynamics of the light industry output resulted in a lag between Ukraine and EU countries, e. g. 6 times from Poland, 21 times from Germany, and 73 times from Italy. The light industry in Ukraine (like in the leading EU countries) specializes in manufacturing of final consumption products, which share in the output is more than 60%. However, despite such specialization, nearly 90% of the domestic demand for the light industry goods is met by imports. At the same time, the significant export orientation of textile and other light industry industries given that all the production and consumption segments of these industries in Ukraine have a strong import dependence indicates a high share of tolling operations in the Ukrainian exports. The development of the Ukrainian light industry is hampered by the following key problems: high dependence on imported raw materials, supplies and components; low price competitiveness of home-made goods on the domestic market; the reliance of a large part of domestic companies in the industry on consumer-supplied raw materials. Hence, the priority of the government’s industrial policy for the light industry development is to restore (and further increase) raw materials supplies for textile and other domestic industries. The second objective is to create competitive conditions on the domestic market for the light industry by eliminating the shadow turnover in this segment. The third objective is to reduce the commodity exports, along with increasing exports of high quality products with a high share of value added.

continuity of the production process in a company will be influenced by various factors, including: capital, technology, supplies of raw materials, finished goods and labor supply. Inventory as elements of working capital is an asset that is always in a state of spinning. Supplies are also elements of seamless assets that are always considered liquid compared with other asset elements such as cash, Receivables, and marketable securities. Adequate supply of raw materials can accelerate the production process. So that the resulting finished goods can assure the effectiveness of marketing activities. PT. Mamuang Pasangkayu (North Mamuju Regency) as one of palm oil plantation management under the PT Astra Indonesia. Oil Palm Factory owned by PT Mamuang is one unit where MCC Mamuang currently acquires supplies from its core gardens and plasma gardens. PT Mamuang Pasangkayu was established in June 2006 and produced CPO/crude palm oil and PK/palm kernel. At the beginning of the factory, raw materials were obtained from several CV and Pasangkayu PTP Garden. Pt. Mamuang Pasangkayu still has constraints in its business that the production of a garden they have not enough to fulfill the needs of the factory while the supply from other gardens is not much because of the new rejuvenation process. In addition to the supply of FFB (fresh fruit bunch) acquired, since September 2007 is no longer brought to the furnace RIMDU because of consideration of large transportation costs. Moreover, changes in the CPO price in the world market also affect the number of demand and supply. Fluctuations in CPO prices affect the manufacturing process. This will also affect the amount of production produced. Price increases and price declines require rapid anticipation so that the company can adapt to the changes that occur.

The development of business in this globalization era has led to increasingly a competition, the application of IT in business today isn’t enough, therefore a company needs enterprise resource planning (ERP) to keep the company's cycle spinning amid global competition. Now ERP not only be applied to large companies,UKM/UMKM Currently can use ERP to run the business process. Unfortunately, the company doesn’t understand the importance of ERP and the benefits of ERP, including CV Rumah Indah, a home interior company, which is a case study in this journal. CV Rumah Indah still applies conventional business processes which are all done manually. Even though in practice the business owner encounters several obstacles in the distribution of raw materials, the distance between the production house and the supplier, and there is one raw material that is difficult to obtain if supplier’s stock runs out so the company must be waiting till the materials available. It takes the business owner have to go back to the supplier to take orders for the raw material that was ordered on the previous visit, besides that the interior production time becomes delayed. Therefore, the author took initiative to provide a solution of the problems faced by business owners, the solution is applying the purchase module on ERP using the open source ERPNext software. Hope that implementation of ERP being able to help in the effectiveness and time efficiency when purchasing raw materials to suppliers.

ABSTRACT This paper analyzes the development of China’s rare earths industry, emphasizing the role of state technological initiatives in the country’s transition from rare earth exporter to large industrial consumer of these raw materials. Like other industrial powers before it, China takes advantage of low-cost domestic supplies of strategic raw materials to promote higher value-added manufacturing. We argue that, in the case of rare earths, this strategy has been largely successful, disrupting a classic international division of labor that existed prior to 2000, in which China exported most of its rare earth output to wealthy countries, and transforming Chinese firms into exporters of more sophisticated downstream products.

The aim of this study is to analyze Cuba’s foreign trade with three main partners during the so-called Special Period, a result from the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991. With the absence of the Mutual Economic Assistance Council (MEAC), Cuba had to make structural changes in its economy and foreign trade. A center-periphery model of doing business between Cuba and its trade partners was implemented. Under this model, China became Cuba’s main supplier of manufactured goods and Cuba supplied raw materials. Foreign trade in Cuba was limited due to the economic embargo from the United States. Nowadays, the relation between these two countries has become more of a trading collaboration. The United States has turned into one of Cuba’s main food suppliers, while Cuba exports art pieces and antiquities to that country. Russia also became a main exporter of manufactured goods and machinery to Cuba, just as China. In return, Cuba is sending raw materials to both of those countries.

Abstract An assessment of current demand for mineral raw materials in the domestic economy as well possibilities to satisfy the needs of the industry has been performed for the period 2011-2015 on the basis of estimated values and volumes of their consumption, as well as indices of the share of importation in the consumption and percentage of production sold abroad. Domestically consumed mineral raw materials have been assigned to groups corresponding to the main way of their usage, distinguishing:fuels, metallic, ceramic, chemical, construction, and others. Complementary to the presented demand- supply relations are trade balances of selected commodities. Analysis of available statistical data showed that the demand for substantial number of mineral raw materials in Poland has been met by imports and this probably will be continued in future. The reasons for Poland’s sustained import dependency of mineral raw materials is the lack or insufficient reserve base, as well as low quality of raw materials available from deposits occurring in the country. The exceptions are construction raw materials and some ceramic ones, as well minerals exported in significant qualities (e.g.: refined copper, silver, zinc, sulphur, lead raw materials, or selenium), for which it can be stated that their domestic supplies may fully satisfy the demand of the national economy. On the other hand, the scale of utilization of such fuels as hard coal and lignite, which represent very significant item in Poland’s total energy mix, may be greatly reduced in the light of EU directives aimed at restricted use of these fossil fuels. The possible alternative is development of the use of renewable energy sources, while in the case of metals - improved recycling of scrap and metal-bearing wastes.

Abstract:
The paper proposes a two-stage supply chain model for price sensitive demand in imperfect production system while manufacturer and supplier are the members of the chain. The supplier screens the raw materials first and supplies good materials to the manufacturer at a constant rate. The production rate varies randomly within a finite interval. The inventory cycle of the manufacturer starts with shortages and production and it finishes with shortages again, in which shortages are partially backlogged. We consider a mixture of LIFO (last in, first out) and FIFO (first in, first out) dispatching policies to fill the backlogged demand. Thus, the objective of the proposed paper is to determine the optimal ordering lot-size and selling price of the manufacturer such that the per unit average integrated expected profit of the supply chain model is maximized. A numerical example is provided to analyze and illustrate the behavior and application of the model. Finally, sensitivity analysis of the key parameters are presented to test feasibility of the model.

Therefore, supplier selection process is an important process for the company, because by choosing the right suppliers of raw materials will benefit the company. To choose the right supplier is also determined by the decision taken by the decision maker (DM). In addition, the weight of DM assessment will differ on different criteria because DM experts in a particular field are not necessarily experts in other fields. Therefore, in this paper is discussed about the measurement of the weight of each criterion and alternative to choose the best supplier alternative using AHP method. Abstract:
Sufficient supplies of critical raw materials (CRMs) for rapidly developing technologies, e.g., Li-ion batteries, wind turbines, photovoltaics, digitization, etc., have become one of the main economic challenges for the EU. Due to growing import dependency and associated risk of supply disruptions of these raw materials from third countries, there is a need to encourage their domestic production. This is an important starting point for EU value chains crucial for the sustainable economic growth of the whole Union. This contribution has evaluated the possibilities of CRMs supply from the EU’s primary sources. A three-step approach, including an assessment of CRMs’ importance for the EU’s economic growth, their significance in at least two of the three strategic industrial sectors (i.e., renewable energy, e-mobility, defense and aerospace), and their potential availability from EU mineral deposits, has been applied. Results of the analysis have shown that, of 29 critical mineral raw materials (according to the 2020 EC list), the potential to develop manufacturing from the Union mineral deposits exists for 11 CRMs, i.e., cobalt, graphite (natural), HREE, LREE, lithium, magnesium, niobium, PGMs, silicon metal, titanium, and tungsten, while some other CRMs, namely gallium, germanium, indium, and vanadium can be recovered as by-products. Measures to mitigate EU import dependency have been also proposed.

Abstract:
Inventories of raw materials is one of the most important elements in the company's operations are continuously must be obtained, processed and resold. The raw material is meant for the smooth running of production operations set. So, we need an optimum inventory levels to meet the needs of both the quantity, quality and time at a low cost. For that we need a system of planning and inventory control are best - well, that inventories of raw materials should be defined and calculated correctly and accurately in order to obtain a low total cost of inventory that can minimize the cost of production. Forecasting approach is expected to represent the number of actual demand in the coming period. Based on the number of requests of forecasting results can be determined raw material inventory control. By using EOQ then firms will be able to minimize the cost of raw material supplies of oil. Companies should pay attention to the order of recording historical data of oil, classification of costs - the cost of orders and storage costs, because such data is necessary to obtain optimal results inventory control. Abstract:
Mineral Raw Materials are of strategic importance for Europe’s economic growth and societal development. The European Commission addressed this challenge through the Raw Materials Initiative (RMI), stakeholders’ platform, the European Innovation Platform on Raw Materials (EIP-RM), and Horizon 2020 funding. The aim is to ensure security and sustainability of mineral raw materials supply from EU domestic and other primary and secondary sources and management of competing uses of the European surface and subsurface. The sustainable supply of raw materials from European sources requires an improved knowledge base of raw materials within the EU, namely the European Union Raw Materials Knowledge Base (EURMKB), where EuroGeoSurveys, the Geological Surveys of Europe, is one of the key data providers. Current European Commission policies have the same objectives that will be fully implemented in near future. The Mobility Package and its implementation activities (such as European Battery Alliance) and tools (including Horizon Europe) will strengthen the raw materials position in an overall EU policy setting.
