Materialet som undersöktes bestod av texter och uttalanden med Reagan som avsändare. I analysen visade sig både motiv tillhörande den realistiska och liberala diskursen. Various reagents including the classical Grignard-based catalytic copper reagent, the Gilman reagent (R2CuLi), and the ‘RCu•BF3’ reagent have been developed to improve the efficiency of the process by enhancing the reactivities of the reagents and by suppressing side-reactions such as 1,2-addition. Abstract:
The aim of our study is to know if INR (International Normalized Ratio) is really the best way to express PT (Prothrombin Time) in patients under oral anticoagulants (AVK). In this way, PT of 85 patients treated by AVK and 30 normal controls were determined with 5 different reagents and three devices : manual technic, KC10 (AHS Dade), Coag A Pet 200 (Gal Diagnostics, Organon). The reagents were : Thromborel S (Behring) extracted from human placenta, Thrombotest (Nyegaard) from ox brain, and 3 rabbit thromboplastins : Neo-plastine (Diagnostica Stago), Thromboplastine calcique (Bio-Merieux), Sim

Abstract:
It is current clinical practice to monitor heparin therapy by maintainig the activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) at 1.5-2.5 × control normal pool. There is however controversy regarding the choice of reagents with respect to their heparin sensitivity. Choice of instrumentation is also known to affect the results. We have compared two automatic coagulometers, the ACL (Instrumentation Laboratory), a laser-nephelometric centrifugal analyzer and the KOAGULAB 40A (Ortho Diagnostics), an optical automatic coagulometer, with the tilt tube technique for the performance of APTT. We propose a microfluidic droplet-based platform that accepts an unlimited number of sample plugs from a multi-well plate, performs splitting of these sample droplets into smaller daughter droplets and subsequent synchronization-free, reliable fusion of sample daughter droplets with multiple reagents simultaneously. This system consists of two components: 1) a custom autosampler which generates a linear array of sub-microliter plugs in a microcapillary from a multi-well plate and 2) A microfluidic chip with channels for sample plug introduction, reagent merging and droplet incubation. A prospective study has been performed to assess INR values obtained with a variety of thromboplastins during the early days of coumarin treatment. The reagents were BCT/253 (the primary International Reference Preparation), Diagen Activated, Diagen Freeze Dried, Manchester Reagent and Dade Thromboplastin FS. Prothrombin times were performed before the start of treatment and at regular intervals on fifteen patients who were given a slow induction regime. In theory INR should be the same irrespective of the thromboplastin. A wide range of values was however observed with the different thrombopl

In this work we present an innovative technique to detect analytes in complex matrices. Thioverbenone was synthesized using verbenone and Curphey’s reagent without further purification, and was detected in the mixture reaction using SERS spectroscopý coupled to thin layer chromatography (TLC). Combining both techniques enables the rapid and efficient detection of components in complex matrices without prior purification, thereby saving time and reagents.

Abstract:
The article presents a new approach to reagent-free liquid treatment systems based on resonance diagnostics and adaptive control technologies. The author discusses the integration of non-contact, sensor-based methods for monitoring the physicochemical parameters of liquids in real time, applicable in water purification, industrial processing, and environmental safety. The system described utilizes intelligent algorithms to detect impurities, adjust treatment protocols, and ensure high accuracy without chemical reagents.

Abstract:
The study objectives were to determine the effectiveness of Fenton’s Reagent and Modified Fenton’s Reagent in reducing Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH) concentrations in petroleum-contaminated soil from McMurdo Station, Antarctica. Comparisons of the contaminated soils were made, and a treatability study was completed and documented. This material was presented at the Association for Environmental Health and Sciences Foundation (AEHS) 30th Annual International Conference on Soil, Water, Energy, and Air (Virtual) on March 25, 2021.
