Abstract:
The problem of modeling the activity of real estate companies is relevant and causes a certain interest. This article sets and solves the problem of mathematical modeling of the management system of interaction between a realtor and the management of a realtor company, developing an effective mechanism for managing the activities of a realtor company. To describe the management system, a static two-level hierarchical model of interaction between a real estate agency (management of a real estate company) and an agent (realtor) is proposed. The real estate agency acts as the Lead, and the agent acts as the Slave. The slave manages the degree (level) of their qualifications, and the Leader – the amount of funds allocated for agency advertising. The incentive method is used as a method of hierarchical management. Information rules are used that correspond to Stackelberg’s game without management feedback. The model provides the ability to manipulate information from the Slave. The algorithm for finding the Stackelberg equilibrium is specified. An analytical (for a particular type of input functions) and numerical (for a general type of input functions) study of the proposed model is carried out. The results are presented and analyzed, and relevant conclusions are drawn.

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the development of the main provisions of realtor business modeling. In the paper the development of notational complex is presented, which is involved in the design of the conceptual model, the formation of a reference model of real estate business and basic rules for the implementation of the model. In the construction of the proposed model important notational aspects are highlighted. Functional orientation of real estate business for rendering services reflects a functional approach to business modeling. In order to ensure the assessment of the offered services it is proposed to implement a nested model of the object. A reasonable functional approach using object-based elements allows optimizing the processes of business modeling and assessment of the results. The article discusses functional modeling of business, focusing on the results. Synchronizing the functional model with the models of business processes and sub-models of objects, in particular, the model of business result, contributes to the improvement of the notations tools. The article presents the adaptation of the template of the business model to the conditions of the realtor activity. The proposed reference model specifies the logical scheme of decomposition activity, which detaches economic, social and other values. The decomposition of services into functional groups with account for individual values and functional modules is presented: buying and selling real estate; mortgages and loans; rent of residential and commercial property; an independent evaluation of real estate; consultations concerning the issues of real estate transactions. In the focus of the results of business processes and performance standards of realtor organizations transitional notation to the evaluation system efficiency of business performance is developed. The simplest method of feedback for assessing customer satisfaction and, consequently, system efficiency is offered. This method can become the basis for the development of metrics processes, which are implemented to meet customers’ demands and achieve business objectives of a realtor organization.

Background:Although public support for physical activity-friendly Traditional Neighborhood Developments (TNDs) appears to be growing, information is lacking on private sector perspectives and how economic factors (eg, fuel prices) might influence the development and sale of TNDs.Methods:A sample of realtors from the National Association of Realtors (n = 4950) and developers from the National Association of Home Builders (n = 162) were surveyed in early 2009 to assess factors influencing homebuyers' decisions; incentives and barriers to developing TNDs; effects of depressed housing market conditions and financing on sales; trends in buying; and energy considerations (eg, green building). Results:Realtors believed that homebuyers continue to rank affordability, safety and school quality higher than TND amenities. Developers reported numerous barriers to TNDs, including the inability to overcome governmental/political hurdles, lack of cooperation between government agencies, and lack of market demand. Yet, realtors believed clients are increasingly influenced by gas and oil prices, and developers reported that clients are looking for energy efficient homes, reduced commute time, and walkable neighborhoods. Respondents reported consumers are more interested in living in a TND than 5 years ago.Conclusions:Activity-friendly TNDs appear to be increasing in demand, but developers and realtors reported significant barriers to creating these communities.

Abstract:
Community service is an activity that aims to help a particular community in several activities. This activity is one part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, an educational activity in the community in the form of introducing website-based motorbike sales technology. This technology was introduced in order to increase sales of motorbikes, especially to 2-wheeled motorbike brokers. The program partner is the two-wheeled motorbike broker community in Kedungwuni sub-district, Pekalongan district. With many problems occurring, one of which is lack of sales and lack of knowledge of buyers as well as crime when purchasing vehicles. In this service, we developed a motorbike sales application that utilizes advances in information technology to overcome these obstacles. This application is designed with a user-friendly interface, so it can be used easily by the realtor community. In the framework of this service, we also carry out outreach and training to the broker community regarding the use of this application. The aim is for the realtor community to optimize their motorbike sales potential through this application, as well as obtain other benefits, such as wider access to the market and efficiency of time and energy. Through this service, it is hoped that it can increase efficiency and effectiveness in the motorbike sales process, as well as provide benefits to the broker community in increasing access to the market. The results of program implementation show that the broker community received the training quite well with a score of 66.5%.

Abstract:
In the present paper, the positive dynamics in activity in the construction sector and real estate market is analyzed and is noted that it is required to increase the amount of provided realtor services and the improvement of quality to consumers. We should note that the analyzes of the paper allow one to assess productive characteristics and closeness of relationships between various factors (the price per 1 m2 of residential real estate in the primary and secondary markets). Unfortunately, in the Republic of Azerbaijan offering the formation of such a mechanism is impossible. İn the real estate market often we meet inexperienced brokers and sometimes buying and selling operations are accompanied by the risks and losses, including speculative transactions. Of course, in our country, there is a need to establish a system that has been adapted to the characteristics of the local market and similar to the above-mentioned system. It should be noted that the level of real estate services market and its development, the characteristics of the national economy and improving its structure reflects the level of development. It is no coincidence that in the context of the realities of real estate market in many of developed countries the formation of a market economy and the deepening of economic relations are reviewed as important factors stimulating the development of other sectors of the national economy. Azerbaijan's real estate market would be advisable to use more advanced methods to study the experience of foreign countries in this field and it would be very useful to take serious steps to benefit from it.

Abstract:
Introduction. The socio-economic and political processes taking place in modern Russia pose new challenges to the student youth, as the most active subject of these processes. Ten years ago, it was enough for a qualified engineer to have professional knowledge, skills and abilities, but today, according to the requirements of higher education, he must have a management culture, information competence and legal literacy. The purpose of the study is to study the legal literacy of students of a technical university. Materials and methods. The materials of the study were the data of an anonymous sociological survey of 124 respondents – students of the Stupino branch of the Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th courses of full-time and part-time education by filling out Google forms. The obtained data allowed us to study the knowledge of the students of the technical university in the field of the basics of legal literacy. Results. Analysis of the data of a sociological survey of students' opinions showed that the overwhelming majority (96.5%) support the introduction of in-depth study of law enforcement practice in the educational process of a technical university. Students admitted (94.4% of respondents) that knowledge of the basics of civil, labor, tax, administrative and other branches of law will help them in their professional activities; 38.4% believe that they need additional knowledge in the field of law, while 62.9% had experience in concluding a civil contract (purchase and sale of an apartment, car, contract, delivery, provision of services, etc.), but 41.5% used the services of specialists (realtor, labor dispute commission, lawyers, etc.). Conclusion. Today, legal literacy of students determines the understanding of their role, opportunities and responsibilities in society, knowledge of their rights and obligations. Obtaining the necessary legal knowledge and skills for professional activity will allow students to independently understand the current laws, legal norms, understand them and apply them in their professional activities.

Abstract:
The purpose of this work was to study the influences of Realgar-Indigo naturalis(RIF) and its principal element realgar on 4 main cytochrome P450 enzymes activities in rats. A simple and efficient cocktail method was developed to detect the four probe drugs simultaneously. In this study, Wistar rats were administered intragastric RIF and realgar for 14 days; mixed probe drugs were injected into rats by caudal vein. Through analyzing the pharmacokinetic parameter of mixed probe drugs in rats, we can calculate the CYPs activities. The results showed that RIF could inhibit CYP1A2 enzyme activity and induce CYP2C11 enzyme activity significantly. Interestingly, in realgar high dosage group, CYP3A1/2 enzyme activity was inhibited significantly, and different dosage of realgar manifested a good dose-dependent manner. The RIF results indicated that drug coadministrated with RIF may need to be paid attention in relation to drug-drug interactions (DDIs). Realgar, a toxic traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), does have curative effect on acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). Its toxicity studies should be focused on. We found that, in realgar high dosage group, CYP3A1/2 enzymes activity was inhibited. This phenomenon may explain its potential toxicity mechanism.

Abstract:
Niuhuang Jiedu tablet (NJT), a realgar (As2S2) containing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), is a well-known formula. The safety of NJT is of growing concern since arsenic (As) is considered as one of the most toxic elements. NJT was demonstrated to be safer than realgar by our previous experiments and some other studies. The toxicity of realgar has been shown to be related to the amount of soluble or bioaccessible arsenic. In this study, the influences of the other TCMs in NJT on the bioaccessibility of arsenic from realgar, and the roles of gut microbiota during this process were investigated in vitro. Results showed that Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix), and Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) could significantly reduce the bioaccessibility of arsenic from realgar in artificial gastrointestinal fluids. Gut microbiota played an important role in decreasing the bioaccessibility of realgar because it was demonstrated to be able to absorb the soluble arsenic from realgar in the incubation medium. Dahuang, Huangqin, and Jiegeng could modulate the gut microbiota to enhance its arsenic absorption activity.

Abstract:
Ethnopharmacological Relevance. Mineral medicines are widely used traditional Chinese medicines with curative effects. These medicines are used for many refractory diseases. Aim of the Review. In this review, cinnabar (HgS) and realgar (As₂S₂) serve as examples of mineral medicines, and their pharmacology, therapeutic toxicity, use in traditional medicine mixtures, and research perspectives are discussed. Materials and Methods. A search was performed for the literature on cinnabar and realgar in PubMed, the Chinese Pharmacopeia, Google, and other sources. The search included studies using single herbs, traditional formulations, or novel dosage forms. Results. Cinnabar and cinnabar formulas exhibit good efficacy for sedation, sleep improvement, anxiety alleviation, and brain protection. However, previous studies on neurotransmitters have reached different conclusions, and detailed pharmacological mechanisms are lacking. Realgar and its formulas exert promising antitumor activity through regulation of cell cycle arrest, intrinsic and extrinsic apoptosis, induction of differentiation, autophagy, metabolic reprogramming, matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) signaling, and reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation. In addition, realgar can be used to treat a variety of refractory diseases by regulating immunity and exerting antibacterial, antiviral, and other effects. However, the existing pharmacological research on the use of realgar for epidemic prevention is insufficient, and animal experiments and research at the cellular level are lacking. Inappropriate applications of cinnabar and realgar can cause toxicity, including neurotoxicity, liver toxicity, kidney toxicity, and genotoxicity. The toxicological mechanism is complex, and molecular-level research is limited. For clinical applications, theory and clinical experience must be combined to guide scientific and rational drug use and to achieve reduced toxicity and increased efficacy through the use of modern preparation methods or combined drugs. Notably, when cinnabar and realgar are used to treat targeted diseases, these agents have a bidirectional effect of “treatment” and “toxicity” on the central nervous system in pathological and normal states. The pharmacological and toxicological mechanisms need to be elucidated in greater detail in the future. Overall, systematic research is needed to provide a basis for better promotion of the rational use of cinnabar and realgar in the clinic. Conclusion. Mineral medicines are multicomponent, multiactivity, and multitargeted substances. The pharmacology and mechanisms of the toxicity and action of realgar and cinnabar are extremely complex. A number of Chinese medicinal preparations of realgar and cinnabar have demonstrated unique efficacy in the treatment of refractory diseases.

Abstract:
Realgar, a traditional Chinese medicine, has notable antitumor activity and can be used in various hematologic tumor and solid tumor therapies in a wide range of clinical applications. Nanosized realgar possesses higher surface activity and enhanced therapeutic effects on cancer cells compared with those of bulk realgar. In this study, we reported the design of high-performance nanorealgar quantum dots (NR QDs) with aggregation-induced emission enhancement of crystal units (CUs) with the addition of hydrochloric acid. The enhanced fluorescence characteristics of NR QDs are associated with an optimized crystal structure obtained by accelerating the growth process of NR CUs in which the smaller NR CUs facilitate a self-assembling arrangement and a complete structural optimization process, ultimately forming regular crystallization with a size quantization effect. To improve the theranostic efficiency of NR QDs, we synthesized NR QDs coupled with a tripeptide of arginine–glycine–aspartic acid (RGD) with tumor neovascular targeting. We intravenously injected NR@RGD QDs into BALB/c mice bearing a subcutaneously transplanted breast tumor (4T1). Our results indicate that functional NR@RGD QDs are effective chemotherapeutic drugs that can anchor into the tumor endothelial cells through an active targeting effect, inhibit the angiogenesis in the tumor, and eventually “cut-off” the nutrient-rich blood supply to the tumor. This promising antiangiogenesis therapeutic strategy induces NR@RGD QDs to penetrate tumor-fenestrated vascular networks and has potential clinical value.

Abstract:
Introduction Tumors contain diverse sub-clones, which can lead to tumor persistence and re-growth after therapy. Previous studies suggest that multiple myeloma (MM) sub-clones may contain tumor-initiating cells which maintain growth and proliferation as well as contribute to drug-resistance. Recently, we have confirmed the existence of MM stem cell-like cells by identifying “side population” (SP) cells as an enriched source of tumor-initiating cells with clonogenic and tumorigenic stem cell properties. Targeting this population with novel therapies represents a promising strategy. Arsenic trioxide (ATO, As2O3) shows only limited responses compared to anti-MM agents such as bortezomib and lenalidomide in relapsed and refractory MM. Here we evaluated the anti-MM activity of another arsenic compound (arsenic sulfide, As4S4), used in traditional Chinese medicine with greater efficacy and less genotoxicity than ATO, prepared by milling into realgar nanoparticles (NREA). We assessed the effect of NREA on MM stem cell-like SP fraction in the context of the bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) to provide the rational for its clinical evaluation. Methods and Results First, we evaluated the effect of both NREA and ATO on MM cell survival. Both drugs significantly decreased survival of 13 MM cell lines in a concentration-dependent manner. Importantly, we observed more potent anti-MM effect with NREA compared to ATO, with IC50 values of NREA 2-4 times lower than ATO. Moreover, we confirmed the effect of NREA on MM cells from patients with primary relapsed/refractory disease: NREA showed a dose-dependent response, with IC50 values in the range 1-2 μM. Significant concentration-dependent increased apoptosis was observed in NREA-treated MM cells. Similarly, decreased mitochondrial membrane potential was more significantly triggered by NREA than ATO. Consequently, NREA modulated the MM cell cycle profile: concentration-dependent treatment induced either G0/G1 (MM.1S and KMS11) or G2/M arrest (RPMI-S and OPM1) at 48h. To compare in vivo anti-tumor activity of NREA and ATO, we used our xenograft murine model of human MM. Tumor-bearing mice were intraperitoneally treated with NREA, ATO or with the respective vehicle. Treatment with NREA triggered more significant tumor growth inhibition compared to ATO at day 8 of treatment. To evaluate the effect of NREA on the SP phenotype of MM cells, we treated MM cells with subtoxic concentrations of NREA and ATO for 72 h. Analysis of MM cells for low intracellular content of Hoechst 33342 (SP fraction) revealed that NREA significantly decreased the percentage of SP cells in MM cells in a dose-dependent manner, whereas increase in SP fraction was observed in ATO-treated cells. To evaluate the effect of the bone marrow microenvironment on targeting the SP cells with NREA, MM cells were cultured alone or with BMSCs, and then analyzed for low intracellular accumulation of Hoechst 33342. Treatment by NREA, but not ATO, significantly depleted SP cells in co-cultures MM cells with BMSCs. Moreover, NREA decreased clonogenic potential, whereas ATO had no effect. Similarly, tumorigenic potential of SP cells was significantly decreased by NREA, but not by ATO, treatment. Conclusions Overall, our results demonstrate significant anti-tumor activity of NREA against MM cells in vitro. Our in vivo data further show that NREA significantly decreased tumor burden at clinically achievable concentrations of arsenic. Importantly, targeting of SP cells by NREA in the context of BMSCs provides the preclinical rationale for its clinical evaluation. Disclosures: Hideshima: Acetylon Pharmaceuticals: Consultancy. Abstract:
The urgency of the problem stated in the article is due to the fact that the widespread digitalization of the economy leads to the fact that crimes such as theft and fraud are committed using computer tools and systems. According to statistics from Kazakhstan, as a result of fraud using computer technology, damage in the amount of more than 28 billion tenge was caused, of which individuals - 24.7 billion tenge, legal entities - 1.8 billion tenge and the state - more than 1 billion tenge. In this regard, the study touched upon issues of ensuring information security and countering cyber threats. The purpose of the article is to develop effective measures to prevent the commission of fraud with the use of information technology, since theft begins from cyber attacks on information systems. In this study, methods such as comparative legal analysis and expert evaluation were used. Amendments are proposed to the criminal legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding the jurisdiction of crimes, on the addition of qualifying signs, and on the need to adopt a new Law on real estate activity in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Amendments to the criminal law will have a positive effect on the ‘unloading’ of investigators of the internal affairs bodies, since the number of ordinary crimes related to their competence significantly exceeds the number of crimes in the sphere of economic activity. The adoption of a new law on real estate activity in the Republic of Kazakhstan will avoid the facts of re-registration of apartments for criminal purposes, the commission of fraud by realtors.

Abstract:
Background:IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is an immunomediated fibroinflammatory condition with systemic course that can affect almost any organ in the body. In the majority of cases it is a benign condition with slow progression. The clinical symptoms are usually determined by compression of nearby anatomic structures by tumefective lesions, but not by invasive growth of the pseudotumor with the destruction of the organs. Bone destruction always raises suspicion of malignant tumor, but it should be considered in the course of IgG4-RD as well. Objectives:To report a very rare bone destructive phenotype of IgG4-RD.Methods:We report 5 cases of biopsy proven IgG4-RD with bone destructive lesions. Results:In our cohort of patients there were 3 patients with multiple fascial bones destruction due to maxillary sinus pseudotumor expansion and 2 patient with vertebral destruction lesions.Patients 1, 2 and 3 with facial bone destruction were young men aged 42, 36 and 28 years. In all cases the primary lesion was located in the maxillary sinus with expansion to the fascial soft tissues and orbit. Two patients had probable and 1 possible IgG4-RD diagnosis according to consensus diagnostic criteria, 2011. All patients were treated with rituximab and low doses of glucocorticoids with improvement of clinical symptoms (fascial edema, eye pain and/or headache), but lacking in radiologic improvement.Patient 4 is a 51-year-old man who developed retrosternal pain, mimicking angina pectoris. Chest CT showed a tumor of posterior mediastinum, infiltrating the right lung and Th6-Th8 bodies destruction. Biopsy of the lesion revealed lymphoplasmatic infiltrate with lymph follicles formation, few eosinophils, significant diffuse fibrosis. Immunohistochemical study, showed IgG:IgG4 ratio >40%. The serum IgG4 concentration was 1.94 g/l (normal range below 2.0 g/l). Combined treatment was administered: rituximab 500 mg weekly #4 and cyclophosphamide 1000 mg + methylprednisolone 250 mg IV every 2 weeks #6. After that - cyclophosphamide 200 mg per week intramuscularly, methylprednisolone 4 mg daily per os. Due to spinal instability the patient undergone surgery. Six months later at check-up examination CT has shown a dramatic decrease of the mediastinal infiltrate. The treatment with cyclophosphamide and oral metylprednisolone was tapered gradually during 2 years due to no sites of pathological hypermetabolic activity were found on PET.Patient 5 is a 60-year-old woman who had spinal surgery for C2 odontoid destruction. Biopsy revealed chronic inflammatory with massive fibrosis. 1,5 years later she developed salivary glands enlargement. During evaluation she had elevated serum IgG4 4.9 g/l and IgM 4.1 g/l (normal range below 0.6-3.7 g/l), serum protein electrophoresis with immunofixation showed monoclonal IgMĸ 3.2 g/l. Left submandibular salivary gland biopsy revealed significant fibrosis, dense lymphoplasmatic infiltrate forming lymph follicle with IgG:IgG4 ratio 50-80% and no pathological signs of lymphoma. The patient was treated with rituximab 500 mg per week #2 and cyclophosphamide 1000 mg + methylprednisolone 250 mg IV every 2 weeks #3. The treatment was discontinued because of toxic hepatitis. Unfortunately, no follow-up was available. The tissue specimens after spinal surgery were also unavailable.Conclusion:IgG4-RD can manifest by bone, including vertebral, destructive lesions and thus should be included when considering differential diagnosis in patients with bone destruction.Disclosure of Interests:None declared

Abstract:
The article examines the factors influencing the functioning of the residential real estate sector, the real estate market situation, the competitive situation, and the investment attractiveness of the sector. It is emphasized that the role of residential real estate performs several functions in society, in particular, it satisfies the need for housing, is an object of economic activity, and acts as a mechanism in the implementation of the social policy of the State. The main stages of the formation of the strategy for the development of the residential real estate segment are allocated, it is worth taking into account the behavior patterns and requests of potential customers, in particular: the segmentation of the primary residential real estate market; identification of factors affecting consumer behavior; modeling the process of making a purchase decision: awareness of needs; assessment of financial opportunities; collection and analysis of information; assessment and selection of real estate options; the decision to purchase property; conclusion of an agreement. It is determined that it is expedient to introduce civilized relations between real estate market participants, which is possible by promoting the implementation of legislative initiatives aimed at introducing a housing construction financing model using escrow accounts and ensuring the guarantee of investors' rights regarding real estate objects, which are under construction. The own structure of the residential real estate market and participants in the market process are proposed, according to which the activity of regional markets, which are divided into primary and secondary markets, are indicators of the activity of national residential real estate markets. The subjects of the primary market are investors, creditors, designers, builders, developers, project organizations, construction companies or organizations; concerning the secondary market - realtors, brokers, appraisers, sellers, tenants. In addition, groups of market participants are allocated, in particular group 1 – professional participants working on a commercial basis; group 2 – analysts on the residential real estate market; group 3 – insurance companies, notary offices, law firms, mortgage banks, land resources fund, property rights registration bodies, real estate assessment agencies, technical inventory bodies, judicial bodies.

Abstract:
The real estate industry is one of the most profitable activities worldwide, for instance, GDP-wise in 2020 it had a share of 5.8% within the Mexican economy, that is above 62 billion dollars (Statista, 2022; The World Bank, 2022). An activity with such relevance should keep up with world trends such as digitalization, e-commerce, and communication especially during the pandemic. COVID-19 accelerated the need of a multichannel integration in order to compete in today’s fierce competition. Digitalization has helped companies and people to find each other allowing them to communicate and exchange value, all of these resulting in long relationships. The problem analyzed within this research is made up of the little knowledge the realtors have regarding digital tools and how they can use them in their daily work activities as well as the effect they may have. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of e-marketing communication on customer’s loyalty in the real estate business and to find out if there are any variations in terms of people's income. PLS-SEM was used so as to determine the link between each of the constructs in the proposed model, results show that e-marketing communication has a favorable and significant impact on customer loyalty, and that this influence is related to people's income.

Abstract:
Abstract The ages of Carlin-type gold deposits in the Golden Triangle of South China have long been questioned due to the general lack of minerals unequivocally linked to gold deposition that can be precisely dated using conventional radiogenic isotope techniques. Recent advances in U-Pb methods show that calcite can be used to constrain the ages of hydrothermal processes, but few studies have been applied to ore deposits. Herein, we show that this approach can be used to constrain the timing of hydrothermal activity that generated and overprinted the giant Shuiyindong Carlin-type gold deposit in the Golden Triangle. Three stages of calcite (Cal-1, Cal-2, and Cal-3) have been recognized in this deposit based on crosscutting relationships, cathodoluminescence colors, and chemical (U, Pb, and rare earth element [REE]) and isotope (C, O, Sr) compositions. Cal-1 is texturally associated with ore-stage jasperoid and disseminated Au-bearing arsenian pyrite in hydrothermally altered carbonate rocks, which suggests it is synmineralization. Cal-2 fills open spaces and has a distinct orange cathodoluminescence, suggesting that it precipitated during a second fluid pulse. Cal-1 and Cal-2 have similar carbonate rock-buffered chemical and isotopic compositions. Cal-3 occurs in veins that often contain realgar and/or orpiment and are chemically (low U, Pb, and REE) and isotopically (higher δ13C, lower δ18O and Sri values) distinct from Cal-1 and Cal-2, suggesting that it formed from a third fluid. U-Pb isotope analyses, by laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) for U-rich Cal-1 and Cal-2 and by LA-multicollector (MC)-ICP-MS for U-poor Cal-3, yield well-defined age constraints of 204.3 to 202.6, 191.9, and 139.3 to 137.1 Ma for Cal-1, Cal-2, and Cal-3, respectively. These new ages suggest that the Shuiyindong gold deposit formed in the late Triassic and was overprinted by hydrothermal events in the early Jurassic and early Cretaceous. Given the association of Cal-3 with orpiment and realgar, and previous geochronologic studies of several other major gold deposits in the Golden Triangle, we infer that the latest stage of calcite may be associated with an early Cretaceous regional gold metallogenic event. Combined with existing isotopic ages in the region, these new ages lead us to propose that Carlin-type gold deposits in the Golden Triangle formed during two metallogenic episodes in extensional settings, associated with the late Triassic Indochina orogeny and early Cretaceous paleo-Pacific plate subduction. This study shows that the calcite U-Pb method can be used to constrain the timing of Carlin-type gold deposits and successive hydrothermal events.

Abstract:
In the process of diagenesis and burial of sedimentary basins, basin fluid activities participate in the process of hydrocarbon accumulation and metal mineralization. Understanding the evolution of basin fluid is of great significance in revealing the related hydrocarbon accumulation and mineralization. Paleo-reservoirs are closely associated with Carlin-type gold deposits in the Nanpanjiang-Youjiang Basin, South China. Calcite, the fluid activity product, is closely related to bitumen and gold-bearing pyrite. By integrating petrographic, cathode luminescence, and fluid inclusion analysis, as well as the relevant chronological results of predecessors, this paper attempts to establish the relationship between fluid evolution, hydrocarbon accumulation, and gold mineralization. Two types of calcite (black/gray and white) developed in the Banqi-Yata-Laizishan area, the Nanpanjiang-Youjiang Basin. Black/gray calcite is symbiotic with bitumen and features dark red colors in cathode luminescence. Many hydrocarbon inclusions developed along with fluid inclusion analysis at low homogenization temperatures (65.7~173.1 °C). Combining the previously reported U-Pb ages (~250–230 Ma) of this kind of calcite with some geochemistry data on the associated reservoir and gold deposit, this calcite records the consecutive hydrocarbon accumulation and Carlin-type gold mineralization from the Late Permian to the Late Triassic periods controlled by Indosinian tectonic movement. The white calcite featuring bright red in cathodoluminescence is symbiotic with gold-bearing pyrite and realgar, and the associated fluid inclusions have high homogenization temperatures (128.2~299.9 °C). Combined with regional tectonic background and isotopic chronology (~140–106 Ma), it seems to record the early Cretaceous Carlin-type gold mineralization controlled by the subduction of the paleo-Pacific plate in the late Yanshanian period.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT The Alvord Basin in southeast Oregon contains a variety of hydrothermal features which have never been microbiologically characterized. A sampling of Murky Pot (61°C; pH 7.1) led to the isolation of a novel arsenic-metabolizing organism (YeAs) which produces an arsenic sulfide mineral known as β-realgar, a mineral that has not previously been observed as a product of bacterial arsenic metabolism. YeAs was grown on a freshwater medium and utilized a variety of organic substrates, particularly carbohydrates and organic acids. The temperature range for growth was 37 to 75°C (optimum, 55°C), and the pH range for growth was 6.0 to 8.0 (optimum, pH 7.0 to 7.5). No growth was observed when YeAs was grown under aerobic conditions. The doubling time when the organism was grown with yeast extract and As(V) was 0.71 h. Microscopic examination revealed Gram stain-indeterminate, non-spore-forming, nonmotile, rod-shaped cells, with dimensions ranging from 0.1 to 0.2 μm wide by 3 to 10 μm long. Arsenic sulfide mineralization of cell walls and extracellular arsenic sulfide particulate deposition were observed with electron microscopy and elemental analysis. 16S rRNA gene analysis placed YeAs in the family Clostridiaceae and indicated that the organism is most closely related to the Caloramator and Thermobrachium species. The G+C content was 35%. YeAs showed no detectable respiratory arsenate reductase but did display significant detoxification arsenate reductase activity. The phylogenetic, physiological, and morphological characteristics of YeAs demonstrate that it is an anaerobic, moderately thermophilic, arsenic-reducing bacterium. This organism and its associated metabolism could have major implications in the search for innovative methods for arsenic waste management and in the search for novel biogenic mineral signatures.

Full text
Abstract:
Viacheslav Ivanov (1866, Moscow–1949, Rome) is one of the most prominent Russian symbolist poets and a leading theorist of symbolism at the beginning of the twentieth century. The article demonstrates that Ivanov understood art (and, more broadly, aesthetic experience) as one of the most effective forms of contact between the human being and the spiritual world, as well as with its first cause. Ivanov distinguishes between three “aesthetic principles” of the universe, which all together constitute “the beautiful”—the sublime, beauty, and the chaotic—and links them to the three stages of being of the artist in the process of creative activity. The artist first passes through the chthonian, subconscious stage of demonic chaos. Next, artists undergo the process of ascent into the ideal, spiritual sphere, where they gain experience, which cannot be expressed in words. After that, the process of the descent of the artist towards the earth takes place, where artists attempt to express in the form of artistic symbols the experience that they have acquired. Ivanov sees the artistic symbol as a materially given structure, which nevertheless cannot be described in words. This structure not only expresses a spiritual essence, but also really and energetically manifests it. Hence, Ivanov sees the creator of high, symbolic art (“realist symbolism”) as an artist-theurge (theurgy is the art of the future, of the future mystery on the basis of a synthesis of the arts that receives divine assistance), who contributes to the augmentation of being. For the recipient, the artistic symbol is anagogical (from the Greek ἀναγογή, “leading up”). It leads one up from the real world to a more real one (a realibus ad realiora). According to Ivanov, both the symbol and its content, myth, are of divine origin; they are “embodiments of the divine truth.” Therefore, high art is one of the principal ways of one’s ascent to spiritual reality by means of sensory reality.

Abstract:
Background: Despite high cure rates in acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL), treatment outcomes in patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) APL, particular with central nervous system (CNS) involvement relapse remains challenge. Recently, venetoclax (VEN, a selective BCL2 inhibitor) plus azacitidine has shown superior efficacy to azacitidine monotherapy in newly diagnosed unfit patients. However, data of venetoclax in APL patients were Limited. Here, we aim to analysis the efficacy and safety of VEN plus arsenics (arsenic trioxide or oral arsenic drug, realgar-indigo naturalis formula) plus ATRA based salvaged regimen in R/R APL from our center. Patients and methods: We retrospectively analyzed cases with R/R APL who received VEN plus arsenics and ATRA based regimen at our institution from July 2021 to December 2023. During the reinduction cycle, patients received 0.15 mg/kg/day intravenous infusion of Arsenic trioxide or oral RIF daily 60 mg/kg/day. ATRA was administered 25 mg/m2/day. VEN was administered using a daily ramp-up strategy (100 mg on day 2, 200 mg on day 3, and 400 mg on days 4-28). The last date of follow-up for this analysis was May 2024. Results: Thirty-one patients with R/R APL were enrolled, 10 patients has co-occurred with CNS relapse, and 1 patient with CNS relapse only. Four patients had ≥ 2 therapies. All patients had prior exposure to arsenics and ATRA. The median age was 44 years (ranges, 18-72). After once cycle of reinduction, the overall response rate (complete remission/complete remission with incomplete count recovery) was 97% (30 of 31), CR was achieved in 27 patients. No early death was occurred. Side effects were manageable. With the median follow-up of 15 month, the 1-year event-free survival and overall survival rates is 78.7% and 96.7%, respectively. Conclusions: Our results showed that the combination of VEN plus arsenics and ATRA appeared to be a highly effective therapy option for patients with R/R APL, and underline its potential activity also in patients with CNS involvement.

Abstract:
Abstract The southwest Guizhou Province, China, contains numerous sediment-hosted Au deposits with Au reserves greater than 700 tonnes. To date, the source of ore fluids that formed the Guizhou sediment-hosted Au deposits is controversial, hampering the formulation of genetic models. In this study, we selected the Shuiyindong and Jinfeng Au deposits, the largest strata-bound and fault-controlled deposits in Guizhou, respectively, for detailed research on pyrite chemistry and S isotope composition using laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) and laser ablation-multicollector-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (LA-MC-ICP-MS), respectively. Petrography and pyrite chemistry studies distinguished five generations of pyrite. Among these, pre-ore pyrite 2 and ore pyrite are the most abundant types in the deposits. Pre-ore pyrite 2 is anhedral to euhedral and with ~2,639 ppm As and wider ranges of Cu, Sb, and Pb (<~22–4,837 ppm, <~6 to 532 ppm, and <~4 to 1,344 ppm, respectively). Gold in pre-ore pyrite 2 is below the detection limit of LA-ICP-MS (~2 ppm). Pre-ore pyrite 2 is interpreted to have a sedimentary (syngenetic or diagenetic) origin. Ore pyrite commonly rims the four identified pre-ore pyrites or occurs as individual, anhedral to euhedral crystals. Ore pyrite is enriched in Au (~641 ppm), As (~9,147 ppm), Cu (~1,043 ppm), Sb (~188 ppm), Hg (~43 ppm), and Tl (~22 ppm) in both deposits. Ore pyrite formed mainly by sulfidation of Fe in Fe-bearing host rocks, mainly Fe dolomite, and As, Cu, Sb, Hg, and Tl, also in ore fluids, were incorporated into ore pyrite. In situ δ34S isotope ratios for pre-ore pyrite 2 and ore pyrite were measured by LA-MC-ICP-MS. Pre-ore pyrite 2 from Shuiyindong and Jinfeng deposits resulted in δ34S values ranging from −0.8 to +3.4‰ and from 5.1 to 10.5‰, respectively. Analyses of ore pyrite from the Shuiyindong have δ34S values that vary from −3.3 to +2.5‰, with a median of 0.7‰; analyses of ore pyrite from the Jinfeng range from 8.9 to 11.2‰, with a median at 10.3‰. Available bulk and in situ δ34S data in the literature for pre-ore pyrites 1 and 2 and ore-related sulfide minerals including ore pyrite, arsenopyrite, and late ore-stage stibnite, realgar, orpiment, and cinnabar from several Guizhou sediment-hosted Au deposits were compiled for comparison. Pre-ore-stage pyrites from Guizhou sediment-hosted Au deposits have a broad range of δ34S values, from −33.8 to + 17.9‰ (including in situ and available bulk δ34S data). Ore-related sulfide minerals in all Guizhou sediment-hosted Au deposits, except Jinfeng, have very similar δ34S values, and most data plot between ~−5 and +5‰. In the Jinfeng deposit, the ore-related sulfide minerals exhibit δ34S values ranging from 1.9 to 18.1‰, with most data plotting between 6 and 12‰. The broad range of S isotope compositions for the sedimentary pyrites (pre-ore pyrites 1 and 2) indicate that S in these pre-ore pyrites was most likely generated by bacterial reduction from marine sulfate. The narrow range of δ34S values (~−5–+5‰) for ore-related sulfide minerals in all Guizhou sediment-hosted Au deposits, excepting the Jinfeng deposit, suggests that the deposits may have formed in response to a single widespread metallogenic event. As the S isotope fractionation between hydrothermal fluids and sulfide minerals in a sulfide-dominated system is small (<2‰) at ~250°C, the initial ore fluids that formed the Guizhou sediment-hosted Au deposits would have had δ34S values similar to the ore-related sulfide minerals, between ~−5 and +5‰. At Jinfeng, initial ore fluids may have mixed with local fluids with heavier δ34S, possibly basin brine (δ34Sbasin brine >18‰), resulting in elevated δ34S values of ore-related sulfide minerals and especially late ore-stage sulfide minerals. Although few igneous rocks are exposed in the mining area around these deposits, there is evidence of magmatic activity ~20 km away. Furthermore, gravity and magnetic geophysical investigations indicate the presence of a pluton ~5 km below the surface of the Shuiyindong district. Based on in situ S isotope results and recent data indicating proximal intrusions, we interpret a deep magmatic S source for the ore fluids that formed the Guizhou sediment-hosted Au deposits. However, as the age for Au mineralization of Guizhou sediment-hosted Au deposits is still debated, the mineralization-magma connection remains hypothetical. Identifying an ore fluid source and time frame for Guizhou Au mineralization continues to be a critically important research goal for this district.

Abstract:
The article discusses the problems of the system of professional training and educational programs in real estate activities. In the scientific literature and in practice, there is no consensus on both the content of real estate activity and the list of knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies that a realtor should possess. At the same time, the relevant professional training of a realtor is in direct connection with a clearly defined range of his duties and must meet the state of the real estate market and the needs of clients. It is not yet fully possible to clarify these issues due to gaps in legislation that lead to uncertainty of the concept of the nature and content of real estate activity, as well as the lack of legal consolidation of the content of real estate services.

Abstract:
Abstract: Lymphoma is a malignant tumor caused by abnormal proliferation of lymphocytes in the lymphatic system. Conventional treatments for lymphoma often have limitations, and new therapeutic strategies need to be explored. Realgar is an ancient Chinese medicine that has been used for centuries to treat a variety of ailments due to its therapeutic potential for various diseases, including cancer. However, it is a time-consuming waste and has a low absorption rate in the gastrointestinal tract, so it has the disadvantages of oral dose, potential toxicity, and low bioavailability. Recently, the development of nanotechnology has promoted the nanization of realgar particles, which have better physicochemical properties and higher bioavailability. The antitumor activity of Realgar nanoparticles against lymphoma has been demonstrated in preclinical studies. Realgar nanoparticles exhibit cytotoxic effects by inducing apoptosis and inhibiting the growth and proliferation of lymphoma cells. Moreover, these nanoparticles exert immunomodulatory effects by enhancing the activity of immune cells and promoting the cytotoxicity of T lymphocytes against lymphoma cells. Additionally, realgar nanoparticles have been shown to inhibit tumor angiogenesis, thereby restricting the blood supply and nutrient availability to lymphoma cells. Despite promising preclinical data, further research on the role and mechanism of realgar nanoparticles in the treatment of lymphoma remains to be studied. Moreover, the translation of these findings into clinical practice requires rigorous evaluation through well-designed clinical trials. Realgar nanoparticles hold great potential as a novel therapeutic approach for lymphoma, and their development may contribute to the advancement of precision medicine in the field of oncology.

Abstract:
Real estate is a revelatory industry for the study of ICT uses because it is information-intensive and realtors are information intermediaries between buyers and sellers. As agents, buyers and sellers increase their uses of ICT, they also change how they approach their daily work. Information intensive industries, by their nature, show the greatest impacts due to ICTs that enable information sharing and the bypassing of traditional information intermediaries. However, while the effects and uses of ICT are often associated with organizations (and industries), their use occurs at the individual level. In other words, it is changes to individual work related to the use of ICTs that reshape both organization and industry structures, and vice-versa. In this study, we use activity theory to provide an analytic perspective within the setting in Malaysia. Data reveal historical structures of this industry guiding the day-to-day work of agents, buyers, sellers and the role of agency. Many of these structures are embodied in a set of explicit contracts that reify existing structures and legitimize realtors’ actions. While looking from the agencies practices, we explain possible improvement in the real estate industry following the advancement of internet & mobile technology, viewing the possibilities towards the use of IOT in real estate industry.

Abstract:
Introduction: The toxicity of arsenic is widely recognized globally, mainly harming human health by polluting water, soil, and food. However, its formulations can also be used for the clinical treatment of diseases such as leukemia and tumors. Arsenic has been used as a drug in China for over 2,400 years, with examples such as the arsenic-containing drug realgar mentioned in Shennong’s Herbal Classic. We have reviewed references on arsenic over the past thirty years and found that research has mainly focused on clinical, pharmacological, and toxicological aspects. Results and Discussion: The finding showed that in clinical practice, arsenic trioxide is mainly used in combination with all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA) at a dose of 10 mg/d for the treatment of acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL); realgar can be used to treat acute promyelocytic leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, and lymphoma. In terms of pharmacology, arsenic mainly exerts anti-tumor effects. The dosage range of the action is 0.01–80 μmol/L, and the concentration of arsenic in most studies does not exceed 20 μmol/L. The pharmacological effects of realgar include antiviral activity, inhibition of overactivated lactate dehydrogenase, and resistance to malaria parasites. In terms of toxicity, arsenic is toxic to multiple systems in a dose-dependent manner. For example, 5 μmol/L sodium arsenite can induce liver oxidative damage and promote the expression of pro-inflammatory factors, and 15 μmol/L sodium arsenite induces myocardial injury; when the concentration is higher, it is more likely to cause toxic damage.

Abstract:
Trichoderma spp. are versatile probiotic fungi that are known to promote plant growth and disease resistance under biotic stress, abiotic stress, or both. They are often used to prevent plant diseases caused by pathogens, act as biofertilizers, and are used in mycoremediation. In our previous study, Trichoderma asperellum strain SM-12F1 was isolated from soils contaminated with arsenic (As), adjacent to a realgar mine. SM-12F1 promoted plant growth and was useful for biocontrol and bioremediation. However, the genomic sequence of this strain was not characterized. This study aimed to generate high-quality genome resources for T. asperellum SM-12F1, and to determine the genomic basis of mechanisms behind plant growth promotion, biocontrol, and bioremediation of As in soil. Genome data of this fungus will provide perspectives on the molecular basis underlying biocontrol activity and mycoremediation. [Formula: see text] Copyright © 2021 The Author(s). Tateo, Fabio, Paolo Fabbri, Maria Chiara Dalconi, and Luca Peruzzo. "Arsenic in the groundwater aquifers of the Venetian Plain: geochemical modelling and occurrence of As-sulfides minerals, a review of data from the medio Brenta domain (Italy)." Acque Sotterranee - Italian Journal of Groundwater, February 29, 2024. http://dx.doi.org/10.7343/as-2024-724.

Full text
Abstract:
The Venetian Plain is known for areas with high concentrations of arsenic (As) in groundwater (up to more than 400 μg/L; exceptionally 647 μg/L, in selected areas). A study area was chosen, north of Padua, which exhibits typical residential, industrial, and agricultural characteristics similar to most Western countries and lacks hydrothermal, volcanic, or anthropogenic sources of arsenic. The pilot area was the focus of several studies which are reviewed in this note. The objectives of the studies were to verify the distribution of As concentrations in groundwater and sediments (mineralogical and geochemical analysis of groundwater sediments and of filtered and unfiltered groundwater) and to model the mobility of arsenic arising from water-rock interaction. The grain size of aquifer reservoirs includes gravel, sand, silt, and clay. The amount of organic matter in the aquifer sediments of the study area seems peculiar (higher) compared to other plains in the world; it influences the redox potential and the relative concentration of As in groundwater. Arsenic contamination in groundwater and redox conditions varied greatly in the area. Groundwater under oxidizing and highly reducing conditions had much lower arsenic concentrations compared to groundwater under intermediate reducing conditions. Arsenic minerals (such as realgar-pararealgar) occur in aquifer sediments and they were documented in the studied materials by different analytical techniques for the first time in the context of the Italian plains. Since these minerals are rare throughout the world in plain sediments not affected by volcanic or hydrothermal activity, their occurrence is a distinctive feature of the Venetian Plain aquifer. These arsenic minerals were found in peat sediments of the study area, consistent with geochemical modeling results, which require highly reducing conditions for their precipitation from groundwater. Modeling suggests that under oxidizing and up to slightly reducing conditions (from 200 mV to -50 mV), arsenic is adsorbed on solid phases, but a further decrease in redox potential leads arsenic desorption from solids and consequent groundwater contamination (from -50 mV to -250 mV). If the redox potential becomes even more negative (below -250 mV), geochemical conditions are favorable to the formation of arsenic sulfides. The precipitation of the realgar-pararealgar phases, predicted by the geochemical model, proceeds by extracting arsenic from the groundwater and quantitatively accounts for the lower arsenic concentration measured in the highly reducing groundwater of the study area.

Abstract:
AbstractBreast cancer is a highly prevalent malignancy with the first morbidity and the primary reason for female cancer‐related deaths worldwide. Acid ground nano‐realgar processed product (NRPP) could inhibit breast cancer cell proliferation and induce autophagy in our previous research; however, the underlying mechanisms are still unclear. Therefore, this research aimed to verify whether NRPP induces breast cancer mitophagy and explore the mitophagy‐mediated mechanism. Primarily, rhodamine‐123 assay and transmission electron microscopy were applied to detect mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) and ultrastructural changes in the MDA‐MB‐435S cells, respectively. Mito‐Tracker Green/Lyso‐Tracker Red staining, western blot, immunofluorescence and RT‐PCR were used to explore molecular mechanisms of NRPP‐induced mitophagy in vitro. MDA‐MB‐435S breast cancer xenograft models were established to assess the activity and mechanisms of NRPP in vivo. Our results showed that NRPP decreased MMP and increased autophagosome numbers in MDA‐MB‐435S cells and activated mitophagy. Furthermore, mitophagy was consolidated because mitochondria and lysosomes colocalized phenomenology were observed, and the expression of LC3II/I and COXIV was upregulated. Additionally, we found the p53/BNIP3/NIX pathway was activated. Finally, NRPP inhibited tumour growth and downregulated the levels of TNF‐α, IL‐1β and IL‐6. Necrosis, damaged mitochondria and autophagosomes were observed in xenograft tumour cells, and proteins and mRNA levels of LC3, p53, BNIP3 and NIX were increased. Overall, NRPP inhibited MDA‐MB‐435S cell proliferation and tumour growth by inducing mitophagy via the p53/BNIP3/NIX pathway. Thus, NRPP is a promising candidate for breast cancer treatment.

Abstract:
Fluid migration in sedimentary basins enable mass and energy transport and play critical roles in geochemical and geodynamical evolution of sedimentary basins. Moreover, reconstructing sedimentary basin fluid evolution from the geological record aids in constraining the evolution of associated petroleum and mineralization systems. As a relict of fluid flow activity, calcite is often a record of fluid flow and therefore can be used to characterize the fluids responsible for its precipitation. Here we study the Nanpanjiang Basin in South China where petroleum reservoirs and Carlin-type gold deposits spatially coincide. Through in situ U-Pb dating and geochemical analysis (87Sr/86Sr, δ18OVienna standard mean ocean water, δ13CVienna Peedee belemnite, rare earth elements) of calcite, this work constrains the key times related to petroleum migration/accumulation and Carlin-type gold mineralization, defines the basin fluid evolution, and proposes a genetic model for petroleum accumulation and gold mineralization within the Nanpanjiang Basin. The U-Pb age (ca. 241.4 Ma) for the gray/black calcite related to bitumen indicates the petroleum migration/accumulation occurred during the Triassic. The U-Pb date (ca. 106−121 Ma) of the white calcite associated with the gold-bearing pyrite, realgar, and fluorite record the lower timing limit of the Carlin-type gold systems. The geochemical data suggest both calcite types are cogenetic but suffered complex evolution with the gray/black calcite precipitating under low temperatures related to the continuous basin burial and the white calcite affected by post formation alteration related to both hydrothermal and meteoric fluids. Combined with the regional tectonic history, the Early Triassic petroleum migration/accumulation and the Early Cretaceous secondary Carlin-type gold mineralization events are considered to be related to the collision between the Indo-China and South China blocks, and the subduction between the Paleo-Pacific and Eurasian plates, respectively.
