System identification studies how to construct mathematical models for dynamical systems from the input and output data, which finds applications in many scenarios, such as predicting future output of the system or building model based controllers for regulating the output the system. Among many other methods, convex optimization is becoming an increasingly useful tool for solving system identification problems. The reason is that many identification problems can be formulated as, or transformed into convex optimization problems. This transformation is commonly referred to as the convexificati

In the first thread, recursive algorithms for the approximate update of the estimates obtained via the Frisch scheme, which makes use of the Yule-Walker model selection criterion, are developed for the case of white measurement noise. This thesis presents two novel approaches for performing subgroup analyses or identifying subgroups in an individual patient data (IPD) meta-analyses setting. The work contained in this thesis originated from an important research priority in the area of low back pain (LBP); identifying subgroups that most (or least) benefit from treatment. Typically, a subgroup is evaluated by applying a statistical test for interaction between a baseline characteristic and treatment. A systematic review found that subgroup analyses in the area of LBP are severely underpowered and are of a rather poor quality

Based on the recursive algorithm, the computation is simple and straightforward. Besides, in this proposed identification algorithm, the observed input-output data can be directly used to estimate the system parameters, thus both the computer memory and the computing time can be saved a lot. From the moving identification algorithm, a linear moving model can be obtained to represent the control systems. The on-line optimal control algorithm is also develop

碩士
國立交通大學
控制工程系
82
The main goal of this thesis is to develop a recursive (on- line) identification algorithm for linear multivariable dynamic systems. Basically, procedures for recursive least-squares estimation are developed for a multi-input single-output (MISO) system. For a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) system, modeling algorithm is accomplished by first identifying the MISO subsystems associated with each output of the MIMO system and then by minimal realization.
