Die Hegelsche Wissenschaft der Logik gilt zurecht als das grundlegende, wenn auch komplexeste und dunkelste Werk Hegels. In ihr entfaltet Hegel den begrifflich-methodischen Hintergrund seines Systems mit dem Anspruch, eine spekulative Metaphysik zu etablieren. Dafür spielt eine wichtige Rolle der Reflexionsbegriff, der explizit in der Wesenslogik zur Darstellung kommt und als die Natur der Reflexion, als die immanente Reflexion von Reflexion in Anderes und Reflexion in sich, charakterisiert wird. Die Reflexion als objektive Reflexion bezieht sich einerseits auf die selbstbezügliche Negativität, die in ihrem vollständigen Sinne die einheitliche Struktur der negativen Selbstbeziehung ausmacht, und andererseits auf den Widerspruch, der die selbstbezügliche Negativität zur Natur hat und selber als der sich aufhebender Widerspruch die Reflexionseinheit als Grund bildet; diese Reflexionseinheit hat jene einheitliche Struktur der negativen Selbstbeziehung in sich. Solche Reflexion bringt das Sein zur Darstellung als das, was es in Wahrheit ist, nämlich als Selbstsein im Anderssein, das für Hegel der Begriff bzw. das Subjekt ist. Wenn das Sein sich als das Selbstsein im Anderssein erweist, kann die Selbstbewegung des Begriffs selbst ermöglicht werden, die Hegel in seiner Wissenschaft der Logik in Anspruch nimmt. Ohne das Verständnis dafür, wie die Begriffe der Negativität, des Widerspruchs und der Reflexion bei Hegels System sich zueinander verhalten, könnte man nicht genau die Wissenschaft der Logik verstehen.
Hegel’s Science of Logic is considered to be a fundamental, but at the same time the most complex and difficult, work of Hegel. He has developed in this work the conceptual and methodic background of his system, claiming that he tries to establish a speculativ metaphysics. The concept of reflexion plays an important role in this project. The concept of reflexion is explained in the Logic of Essence and the nature of reflexion is charaterized as the immanent reflexion of the reflexion in the other and in itself. The reflexion as the objektive reflexion is related, on the one hand, with the self-related negation, which makes up the unified structure of the negative self-relation, on the ohter hand, with the contradiction, whose nature lies in the self-related negativity. The contradiction builds up the unity of reflexion as the ground(Grund), because it must sublime (aufheben) itself. The unity of reflexion has the unified structure of the negative self-relation in itself. Such reflexion describes the being as what it truly is, namely as the self-being in the other-being. This means for Hegel the concept or the subject. If the being proves itself as the self-being in the other-being, the self-movement of concept itself becomes possible through it. The self-movement of concept was an aim of Hegel in his Science of Logik. Without unstanding the reciprocal relations between the concept of negation, contradiction and reflexion in the system of Hegel, we cound never exactly understand the Science of Logic.

Ce travail etudie l'oeuvre du sociologue francais marcel mauss en l'affectant du double statut d'operateur privilegie et de symptome d'un bouleversement theorique global ou se produit une reformulation complete des rapports des sciences de l'homme et de la philosophie. L'objet de l'analyse, historiquement resitue dans une premiere partie, est celui de la configuration epistemologique specifique qui se met en place au debut du xxeme siecle, a partir des trois axes de la philosophie, de l'anthropologie et de la sociologie. Deux lignes sont ensuite suivies ou apparait l'originalite du projet maussien. La premiere consiste dans l'examen du rapport du social et du psychique, et dans le depassement de l'alternative de l'individuel et du collectif qui y est impliquee. La seconde est celle tracee par le developpement de la linguistique, et par le mouvement singulier qui la rapporte a l'etude des phenomenes sociaux. A l'issue de cet examen, le noyau theorique de l'approche maussienne, le concept de symbolisme, est etudie pour lui-meme, d'un point de vue philosophique. Il est enfin repris et illustre en suivant l'etude que le sociologue consacre au phenomene du don. La these contient une bibliographie et un index des noms
This dissertation is a study of the work of the french sociologist marcel mauss, which gives this work a double status : it is both the main source and the symptom of a general theoretical seachange and a whole reformulation of the relation between human sciences and philosophy. The first part of the thesis defines in historical terms the object of the analysis : specific epistemological setting wich emerges at the begining of the xxth century from those three lines constitued by philosophy, anthropology and sociology. The originality of mauss' project is then studied following tow directions : first, a close examination of the social-psychic relation, overcoming the implied dualism of the individual and the collective. Second, a study of the development of linguistic, and its relation to the study of social phenomena. Closing the examination is a study of the theoretical core of the whole maussian approach, the concept of symbolism, wich is illustrated with the study of the gift phenomenon. The thesis includes a bibliography and an index of names

A l'oppose de la tendance a un apprentissage apparent fait du maniement des regles pratiques des disciplines, sans une reflexion sur les conceptions anterieures des apprenants et sur les problematiques impliquees. Or, continuent les eleves, cette tendance produit dans l'apprenant une bipartition entre l'ecole et sa vie, un effet d'ailleurs alourdi par la multiplicite des savoirs. L'ecoute des eleves, l'analyse des manuels (comme reflet de la pratique enseignante), et l'ecoute des enseignants, ont apporte au chercheur un ensemble de donnees d'ou, en s'appuyant sur des cadres theoriques, il a deduit des propositions de reorientation de la pratique scolaire, particulierement en ce qui concerne la fonction transdisciplinaire de la langue et la cooperation des enseignants des differentes disciplines
This research started from the suggestion made by the interviewed pupils that school shoud base learning on the personal pupils" speech, in connection with an inner vision of their experience. This is in opposition to the tendency to an apparent learning consisting on the handling of practical rules of subjects without a reflection on the previous conceptions of learners and on the problems to solve. And the pupils added this tendency produces a division in the learner, between the school ant his life, an effect even stressed by the multiplicity of subjects, the pupils' interviews, the analysis of handbooks (as reflection of the teaching practices) and the theachers' interviews brought the searcher a set of data, that, with the aid of theoretical supports, allowed him the suggestion of some principles of reorientation of the teaching practice, specially regarding the transdisciplinary function of language and the cooperation of the teachers of the different subjects

Les cours prononcés par Friederich Nietzsche à l’Université de Bâle entre 1869 et 1879 pour la chaire de langue et littérature grecque constituent encore aujourd’hui une des sections les moins connues du Nachlass du philosophe allemand. Ces textes permettent de proposer une image de la complexe relation du philosophe avec le monde grec tout à fait différente par rapport à celle proposée par la Naissance de la tragédie. L’expérience esthétique du monde grec est un phénomène d’une complexité extraordinaire, dont l’altérité indépassable par rapport à l’expérience moderne résulte évidente quand on cherche à la réduire aux catégories de la théorie esthétique moderne. L’obstacle fondamental est représenté par la manière selon laquelle on conçoit les éléments qui constituent la culture dans la société moderne et dans celle ancienne, c’est à dire l’usage da lecture et de l’écriture et les formes de transmission du savoir qui en découlent. Pouvons-nous à apprendre des Anciens ? Pour répondre à cette question Nietzsche analyse le processus de naissance de l’œuvre d’art du langage en Grèce. La reconstruction de la normativité fixe qui règle les genres littéraire fait apparaitre l’image antiromantique d’un art extrêmement formalisé et conventionnel, lié à une législation rigide dictée par les institutions politiques. En s’opposant à la vulgate d’un Nietzsche « irrationaliste », les leçons de Bâle proposent donc une réflexion qui s’articule autour des concepts esthétiques et éthiques en même temps, de forme, norme, discipline et convention, concepts qui deviendront capitaux dans la pensée de Nietzsche à partir de Menschliches, Allzumenschliches
The lectures held by Friedrich Nietzsche when he had the professorship of Greek Language and Literature between 1869 and 1879 at the University of Basel, are today the least known of the philosopher´s Nachlass. These writings allow for a reconstruction of the relationship of the philosopher with the Greek world in all its complexity and in an alternative way to that which arises from the Birth of Tragedy. The aesthetic experience of the Greek world is an extremely complex phenomenon which is irremediably extraneous to the modern experience. It can been easily understood when we try to refer it to the framework of modern aesthetics. The incongruity which lies at the base is the conception itself of what we can refer to as culture in the modern society and in the ancient one: reading and writing and the consequent way and tools used for the transmission of knowledge.What can we learn from the ancient people? In order to answer this question Nietzsche investigates the birth process of a work of art in the Greek language. The analysis of the rigid norms which are characteristic of the literary genres will show an anti-romantic image of a strongly formal and conventional art, that is closely linked to complex norms connected to Public Institutions. A path of reflections on ethic and aesthetic concepts on shape and norm, discipline and convention in contrast to the opinions of an “irrationalist” Nietzsche shows itself in the lectures. It will then be developed starting from Menschliches, Allzumenschliches to the entire Nietzsche production

Ce travail développe une analyse critique des « éthiques de l’authenticité », c'est-à-dire des éthiques nous invitant à nous affranchir du conformisme pour renouer le contact avec un mystérieux « moi véritable ». Cette analyse est motivée par le statut paradoxal que ces éthiques ont aujourd’hui : sur le plan intellectuel, elles sont l’objet d’un scepticisme ou d’un rejet ; mais sur le plan pratique, chacun de nous continue d’accorder de l’importance aux notions d’« épanouissement personnel », de « développement personnel » ou de « naturel » qui en sont issues. Une tentative de mise au clair semblait donc s’imposer.Plutôt que de repartir des analyses classiques de Heidegger ou de Sartre, j’ai choisi d’étudier la manière dont deux philosophes plus récents, Charles Taylor et Charles Larmore, tentent de réhabiliter la notion d’authenticité dans un contexte plus difficile : depuis les années 1970 cet idéal a simultanément été accusé d’être philosophiquement naïf et socialement néfaste.Je propose dans les deux premières parties de mon étude une présentation systématique de ces tentatives de réhabilitation : Taylor dénonce la superficialité de la plupart des critiques, en faisant ressortir la profondeur historique de cet idéal ; puis il étudie ses implications pratiques. Larmore développe une analyse plus conceptuelle, remettant d’abord en cause la cohérence même de cette notion, pour ensuite en proposer deux nouvelles définitions. Je confronte dans une troisième partie ces deux approches, pour finalement défendre une conception expressive de l’identité personnelle – conception se distinguant à la fois de la psychologie réflexive classique, et de ce que Larmore appelle la « réflexion pratique »
This work develops a critical analysis of the “ethics of authenticity”, that is, the ethics that commits us to free ourselves from conformism in order to restore contact with a mysterious “true self”. This analysis is motivated by the paradoxical status these ethics have today: on an intellectual level they have become an object of scepticism, or have even been completely rejected; however on a practical level, everyone of us continues to be concerned with notions like “self-fulfilment”, “self-development”, or “naturalness” which arise from these ethics. This situation invites clarification.Instead of returning to the classical analyses of Heidegger or Sartre, this work will rather study the way in which two more recent philosophers, Charles Taylor and Charles Larmore, try to rehabilitate the ideal of authenticity in a more difficult context: since the 1970s this ideal was both accused of being philosophically naive and socially harmful.I first propound a systematic presentation of these attempts at retrieval: Taylor denounces the superficiality of most of the critics by showing the historical depth of the ideal of authenticity; he then studies its practical implications. Larmore develops a more conceptual analysis, by first questioning the very coherence of the ideal, and then by propounding two new definitions of it. This work finally confronts these two approaches with each other, and develops an expressive conception of personal identity – distinct from both classical reflexive psychology and from what Larmore calls “practical reflexion”

La reconnaissance dont l’oeuvre de Diderot fait l’objet depuis une quarantaine d’années admet une exception d’importance : sa politique. Ordinairement, on concède à l’auteur des "Mémoires pour Catherine II", des « idées » ou des « vues » sur la politique, mais nullement une pensée politique. En effet, l’absence de traité politique dans son oeuvre pourtant abondante fait immanquablement conclure que ses « pensées détachées » sur de multiples objets politiques ne constituent en rien un corps doctrinal cohérent et constant. Au rebours de ce lieu commun, notre étude s’efforce de montrer qu’il existe une authentique pensée politique chez Diderot : non seulement ses écrits politiques disparates constituent un ensemble cohérent mais ils sont, de surcroît, congruents à l’ensemble de son oeuvre philosophique. Cette cohérence est conçue dès les Pensées sur l’interprétation de la nature lesquelles établissent les principes de la « philosophie expérimentale » qui président à l’élaboration du corpus diderotien. Cette philosophie expérimentale est d’ailleurs moins une « méthode » déduite des sciences naturelles et appliquée à la politique, qu’une « façon de penser » d’abord éprouvée sur les réalités naturelles avant d’être expérimentée sur les réalités sociales. Notre recherche met en évidence cette « politique expérimentale », aussi bien dans l’élaboration de sa« métaphysique politique » ou dans sa façon d’expérimenter l’écriture en politique que dans ses conceptions de l’économie, de l’art de gouverner, du meilleur régime ou de la prise du pouvoir
In the past forty years Diderot’s work has enjoyed a wide recognition with one important exception: his politics. The author of “Mémoires pour Catherine II” is usually considered as having “ideas” or “views” on politics but not an elaborate political theory. The absence of a treatise on politics in his nonetheless abundant works led to the conclusion that his varied thoughts on many political objects did not constitute a coherent and constant theory. Contraryto this commonplace belief my research aims to show that there is an authentic political reflexion in his works: his separate political writings not only form a coherent whole but are congruent with his philosophical works. This coherence is already conceived in his “Pensées sur l’interprétation de la nature” which establishes the principles of experimental philosophy, which preside over the creation of the whole of Diderot’s works. This experimental philosophy is less the method from natural sciences applied to politics than a way of thinking first tested on natural realities before applying it to social realities. My research highlights his “experimental politics” in the elaboration of his “political metaphysics” or in his way to experiment writing in politics, as well as in his ideas on the economy, the art of government,the best government, or the seizure of power

The author presents the Apel’s philosophy from the confrontation of the kant’s philosophy transcendental with the linguistic-pragmatic overturn in the philosophy of the XX century. To Apel, the Kant’s philosophy has to be faced with linguistic turn. To him, it means to understand that the transcendental question necessarily implies for the language human being question as a condition to the possibility and validity of the intersubjective understanding and to estabilish, from the nowadays reached level for the epistemological reflection, the proper language game, related to the philosophy. Therefore, according to a theorical articulation more elaborated thought comprehension of the language in the philosophical reflection, the philosophy is apt to face, without naivety, the challenges of the contemporary world.
O autor apresenta a filosofia de Apel articulada a partir do confronto da filosofia transcendental kantiana com a reviravolta lingüístico-pragmática na filosofiado século XX. Para Apel, a filosofia de Kant tem que ser confrontada com a linguistic turn. Para ele, trata-se de compreender que a pergunta transcendental implica necessariamente a pergunta pela linguagem humana como condição de possibilidade e validade da compreensão intersubjetiva e estabelecer, a partir do nível atingido hoje pela reflexão epistemológica, o jogo de linguagem próprio à filosofia. Sein und Zeit est une Abhandlung, un « traité ». Si à aucun moment il ne donne de ce statut, qu’il revendique pourtant explicitement, une définition expresse, Sein und Zeit le fonde cependant dans sa propre structure méréologique, c’est-à-dire dans l’articulation, en lui, d’un tout et de parties. Cette structure ne se limite pas à la division textuelle de l’ouvrage en parties, sections, chapitres et paragraphes. Mais elle implique plus profondément la concordance de ces divisions textuelles et de celles de la chose même, c’est-à-dire du Dasein, dont la structure : l’être-au-monde, fait elle-même l’objet d’une tripartition. Il en résulte un risque, conjointement textuel et ontologique, de fragmentation, qui s’avère en définitive inhérent à l’acte même de détermination. Ce serait donc l’acte problématique de déterminer le Dasein qui, s’approfondissant en problème méréologique, confèrerait à Sein und Zeit sa structure de traité. “Sein und Zeit” is a Abhandlung, a “treatise”. Even though it never gives an express definition of this status, which it claims yet explicitly, “Sein und Zeit” founds it nevertheless on its own mereological structure, in other words on the articulation of a whole and its parts. This structure isn’t limited to a textual division of the work into parts, sections, chapters and paragraphs. At a deeper level, it implies the concordance of these textual divisions and those of the thing itself, that is to say those of the Dasein, whose structure: being-in-the-world, is itself the object of a tripartition. As a result, there’s a risk of fragmentation, both textual and ontological, which turns out to be inherent in the very act of determination. Thus, it would be the problematic act of determining the Dasein, which, by going deeper into the mereological problem, would give to “Sein und Zeit” its treatise structure. Consequently, our purpose is to show that the treatise of 1927 allows to interpret its incompletion precisely on the basis of its treatise structure – that is to say on the basis of a merelogical project of determination which doesn’t authorize an articulation of a whole and of its parts because it reaches its highest point with the discovery of a constituent indetermination, and which nevertheless can’t or doesn’t want to abandon the treatise structure it had initially adopted

Ces trois itineraires s'entremelent et se construisent les uns par rapport aux autres. Marie noel est passee d'une interrogation metaphysique a l'experience mystique vecue au sein de sa religion catholique. Neanmoins l'experience mystique a toujours ete presente en filigrane chez elle et a fini par triompher. Marie noel nous montre que la metaphysique a son langage, celui de la raison, qui constate d'ailleurs ses limites. La poesie a son langage de l'ineffable rencontre avec l'etre absolu, appele pere par marie noel, qui ne peut etre exprimee que par des symboles. Ces symboles nous renvoient a une realite qui depasse ce que nos sens et nos raisonnements peuvent nous devoiler, mais a la condition que la poesie manifeste cette relation a l'absolu sans laquelle elle n'exprime pas toute l'essentialite humaine. L'essentiel de l'homme ne peut lui venir de lui-meme, mais de la mesure que l'etre absolu lui confere. La poesie est donc mystique et ne peut cesser de l'etre meme si cela s'exprime a des degres differents. La raison qui construit doit, parvenue a ses limites, accueillir une autre realite qui est l'etre et qui par surcroit donne a l'etre relatif sa veritable consistance d'etre. L'itineraire metaphysique est depasse chez marie noel par une progression dans sa vie mystique, depassement realise dans l'experience de la nuit spirituelle. L'experience des limites de la pensee ainsi que celle de la contingence marquent le cheminement noelien. Finalement marie noel, comme les mystiques de la morale ouverte de bergson, accueille l'etre absolu et a partir de lui, donne une explication divine de la condition humaine
This work consists in a philosophical analysis of the itineraries of marie noel : metaphysical, poetical and mystical. These three itineraries intermingle, and build themselves in relationship with one another. Marie noel passed from a metaphysical questioning to the mystical experience lived within her own catholic religion however, this mystical experience always outlined itself all along her life until it finally triumphed. Marie noel shows to us that metaphysics has its language, that of reason, which is actually confronted with its limits. Poetry has its language, the language of the ineffable encounter with the absolute being, called father by marie noel, which can only be expressed by means of symbols. These symbols refer us to a reality which surpasses what our senses and reasonings can unveil to us but on condition that poetry should express this relation ship to the absolute without which it does not convey the whole human essentiality. The essentials of man cannot come from himself, but from the measure which the absolute being conferson him. Poetry, then, is mystical and cannot be otherwise, even though that is expressed on different levels. The reason which constructs must, once it has reached its limits, welcome another reality which is the being, and which in addition gives the relative being its true consistency. The metaphysical itinerary is surpassed in marie noel by a progression her mystical life, and this takes place in her experience of the spiritual night. The experience of the limits of thought as well as that of her contingency mark the noelian progress. Finally, marie noel, as the mystics of bergson's open morals, welcomes the absolute being and from him gives a divine explanation of the human condition

Dentro desse contexto, o foco principal é o problema da educação, pois a educação para a moralidade tem pressupostos e requer determinadas práticas, que são melhor compreendidas se levamos em conta o âmbito do sistema kantiano. De acordo com Kant, a razão humana cumpre não só uma função teórica, voltada para o conhecimento da natureza, mas também uma função prática, voltada para ideia de liberdade. Isso faz com que a questão da moralidade e da educação tenham seu cerne na ideia de liberdade. Em função dessa ideia, segundo Kant, a razão é capaz de determinar a vontade e o agir do ser humano, possibilitando um agir autônomo. This thesis is centered on Kant s proposal for the practice of morality. In this context, the main focus is the problem of education, since education for morality has principles and requires certain practices that make better sense if we take into consideration the realm of Kant s system. According to Kant, the human reason fulfills not only a theoretical function, aimed at the knowledge of nature, but also a practical function, aimed at the idea of freedom. Therefore, the question of morality and education has its roots in the idea of freedom. Reason is capable of determining the will and the actions of human beings, making an autonomous action possible. Aiming at the constitution of autonomous subjects, the task of moral education is necessary, and it requires a long path of formation of character and learning through freedom. The foundations of this learning reside in the principles of pure reason, the only ones to make morality possible.

El proyecto se ha propuesto investigar la obra de dos filósofos contemporáneos, Emanuele Severino y Gianni Vattimo, siguiendo el hilo rojo de la suspensión que domina el pensamiento en general y el pensamiento nihilista en particular a partir de la reflexión nietzscheana. En primer lugar, era necesario comprender el porqué y el cómo de esta suspensión. Y también el porqué y el cómo de la suspensión heideggeriana. Se han detectado las consecuencias más evidentes de esta evolución del pensamiento y se ha observado, a través de una investigación a fondo de la obra de estos autores, cómo ambos filósofos han reaccionado a esta situación o extremización del discurso occidental. Investigar la trayectoria de los dos filósofos y detenerse en la forma en que ellos se relacionan con los cambios fundamentales que han embestido y siguen embistiendo el conocimiento contemporáneo. Reconocer en ambos una nueva metodología de investigación que los conecta, por un lado, directamente con la "genealogía" nietzscheana, y los pone, por el otro, como innovadores de ideas y de referencias históricas / temporales. Para terminar, el proyecto se ha propuesto (y se propone, en cuanto primera fase de un continuum de investigaciones y profundizaciones futuras) comparar las investigaciones (especialmente los puntos de acuerdo y de desacuerdo) de los dos pensadores contemporáneos, con el fin de lograr una evaluación coherente y clara del camino recorrido, sin olvidar su "origen"; un origen que se ha demostrado fundamental y estructurante a lo largo de todo el camino.
In agreement to Nietzschean’s genealogy method and to hermeneutics of Heidegger, this research project propose to investigate the phenomenon of the crisis of western philosophical thought trough two contemporary thinkers: Gianni Vattimo and Emanuele Severino. These not only interpret the crisis of modernity with the history of modern sceptical-nichilistic inclination but also as an incontrovertible destiny of the all European metaphysical thought from Plato to the scientific revolution of the centuries XVI-XVII and from the last one to technological end of the modern age. Both Vattimo and Severino agree with Nietsche and Heidegger but they, as representatives of post-modernity philosophy, propose a joint solution; to dissolve the rigidities of epistemic thought and return it to the right balance between scientific certainty and be like becoming. Historicizing the analysis of Nietzsche and Heidegger, Vattimo’s and Severino’s philosophies deliver us back to the real doubt and the paradox of the expression.

The knowledge base of empirical psychology is more expansive than ever before. So too is the impulse to integrate this factual knowledge into political theory. But how should this psychological turn be undertaken? What would a political psychology for political theorists look like? How could psychology credibly tackle the questions that political theorists characteristically ask, especially regarding the nature and consequences of prescriptive political judgment? In this thesis, I explore this issue through the framework of recent debates between political moralists—specifically, John Rawls, G. A. Cohen, and Peter Singer—and political realists—largely Bernard Williams. Deploying the insights of political realists, I argue that moralists cannot quarantine the relevance of psychological facts through the ideal of a 'pure' normative judgment. To explore what this empirical engagement might look like, I contrast these moralist ideals of judgment with Jonathan Haidt’s social intuitionism, which proposes a more affectively laden and pluralistic model of judgment. I then redeploy the insights of political realism to critique social intuitionism, to uncover its weaknesses from the perspective of existing political theory. Finally, to stabilize this critique, I lay out the framework for a reflexive political psychology, which acknowledges the co-constitutive relationship between the discipline of psychology and its subject matter: human psychology. This reflexive political psychology offers an agenda by which we can investigate the political usefulness of psychological and political theories.

The PhD entitled "Luisa Sigea de Velasco: philosophical reflections of a sixteenth-century Spanish docta puella" focuses on verifying and justifying if Luisa Sigea (1522-1560) was a genuine philosopher. To carry out this research, we analyze her philosophical dialogue: Duarum virginum colloquium de vita aulica et privata (1552). We also translated this dialogue into Catalan ["Diàleg de dues donzelles sobre la vida àulica i la vida retirada"]. Our research focused on doing a philosophical analysis of the dialogue. Luisa Sigea aims at finding out whether the best life to come next to God and experience happiness is the court lifestyle or the secluded one. To answer this question, Sigea goes through a set of political, anthropological and epistemological reflections that are subordinated to the ethical aim of reaching God and achieving happiness

Ainsi, nous proposons, afin de faciliter leur mise en oeuvre, de relier de façon innovante l'interdisiplinarité au concept de réflexivité; la réflexivité étant comprise comme étant un questionnement et une analyse pluriels des représentations des présupposés, des motivations et des intêréts personnels et disciplinaires. This PhD dissertation is about interdisciplinarity for climate change: a research dynamic that has found a very broad expression in the literature, especially since the 1980s. This PhD tries to better understand how cooperations across disciplinary boundaries emerge and develop. More specifically it proposes an emphasis on reflexivity, in the sens of individual and collective scrutiny of the personal as well as disciplinary assumptions, motivations and interests, to facilitate innovative and authentic interdisciplinarity. Beyond this pragmatic objective, the exploration of interdisciplinarity for climate change allows for critical discussions on the role and organisation of science for this issue

Abstract: The purpose of this academic writting is to analyse the possible contributions that the dialectical speculative development of Hegel's Philosophy, moreover the Philosophy of Objective Spirit, brings to light regarding human rights and its development from modernity to the present day. It is argued that the ideas contained in Hegel's Philosophy are a possibility of overcoming some existing limits in traditional discussions in regard with this topic, mainly based on modern philosophies of the Natural Rights. In order to do so, it has been opted to analyse the relation of human rights with the philosophy of natural rights, followed by Hegel's critic to Natural Rights, and as a result, closing with its understanding of the recognition and its influence in the Philosophy of Right and on the establishment in ethic relation in Sittlichkeit.

The thesis defended in this paper is that the Higher-Order Thought Theory is actually inconsistent. According to the theory it would be possible to introduce the notion of a second-order quasi-thought from S. Shoemaker's notion of a quasi-memory. On the one hand, a second-order quasi-thought, but not necessaríly a quasi-memory, entails an use of I as subject. On the other hand, Shoemaker conceives the use of I as subject in terms of the notion of an immunity to error through misidentification. Now, as the notion of a quasi-memory as the notion of a second-order quasi-thought are able to allow for the cases of personal and psychological fission where the causal series between events belonging to one and the same subject is broken, and thus there is not an immunity to error through misidentification. Then, the notion of a second order quasi-thought would allow for cases where an use of I as subject is not immune to error through misidentification!
La tesis defendida en este articulo es que la teoría reflexiva del pensamiento consciente es realmente inconsistente. Según la teoría. sería posible introducir la noción de un cuasi-pensamiento de segundo-orden a partir de la noción, de S. Shoemaker, de un cuasi-recuerdo. Por un lado, un cuasi-pensamiento de segundo-orden, pero no necesariamente un cuasirecuerdo, entraña un uso de yo como sujeto. La tesis defendida en este artículo es que la teoría reflexiva del pensamiento consciente es realmente inconsistente. Según la teoría, sería posible introducir la noción de un cuasi-pensamiento de segundo-orden a partir de la noción, de S. Shoemaker, de un cuasi-recuerdo. Por un lado, un cuasi-pensamiento de segundo-orden, pero no necesariamente un cuasi-recuerdo, entraña un uso de yo” como sujeto. Por otro lado, Shoemaker concibe el uso de yo” como sujeto en términos de la noción de una inmunidad al error por un fallo de identificación. Ahora bien, tanto la noción de un cuasi-recuerdo como la noción de un cuasi pensamiento de segundo-orden están sujetas a dar entrada a casos de fisión personal y psicológica donde la serie causal entre sucesos pertenecientes a uno y el mismo sujeto está rota y, de este modo, no hay inmunidad al error por un fallo de identificación. Entonces, ¡la noción de un cuasi-pensamiento de segundo orden daría entrada a casos donde un uso de yo” como sujeto no es inmune al error por un fallo de identificación!

Investigações sobre o conceito de informação, de natureza ontológica e epistemológica, têm revelado um campo fértil para o estudo filosófico do processo de aquisição do conhecimento. Tal estudo se desenvolve através de perspectivas que abrangem desde concepções estritamente formais até aquelas que entendem a informação como fator emergente da relação entre organismos e ambiente. Nesse sentido, a presente dissertação tem como objetivo realizar um estudo epistemológico da relação entre informação e percepção-ação. Para isso, focalizamos as características centrais da relação agente-ambiente no plano da ação significativa. Tais características também são investigadas através de questões éticas que envolvem o uso da informação em aparatos tecnológicos espalhados no ambiente. Nesse contexto, apresentamos inicialmente um breve relato histórico-filosófico da “virada informacional na Filosofia”, para, posteriormente, centralizar nosso estudo na abordagem externalista da percepção-ação e sua relação com a informação ecológica. Argumentamos em defesa da hipótese de que a Filosofia Ecológica oferece subsídios teóricos inovadores para a análise da relação informacional que se estabelece entre agente e ambiente no plano da ação significativa. Finalmente, discutimos implicações éticas da “virada informacional” na Filosofia a partir da concepção ecológica de informação. O intuito do presente trabalho é analisar possíveis contribuições que o desenvolvimento dialético especulativo da Filosofia hegeliana, sobremaneira a Filosofia do Espírito Objetivo, traz à compreensão acerca dos direitos humanos e seu desenvolvimento da modernidade à contemporaneidade. Defende-se que as ideias contidas na filosofia hegeliana sejam uma possibilidade de se ultrapassar alguns limites existentes nas discussões tradicionais a respeito do tema, embasadas principalmente nas filosofias modernas do direito natural. Para tanto, optou-se por analisar a relação dos direitos humanos com a filosofia do direito natural, seguindo-se para a crítica hegeliana ao jusnaturalismo e, consequentemente, encerrando-se com sua compreensão de reconhecimento e sua influência na Filosofia do Direito e no estabelecimento das relações éticas na Sittlichkeit.
The purpose of this academic writting is to analyse the possible contributions that the dialectical speculative development of Hegel’s Philosophy, moreover the Philosophy of Objective Spirit, brings to light regarding human rights and its development from modernity to the present day. It is argued that the ideas contained in Hegel’s Philosophy are a possibility of overcoming some existing limits in traditional discussions in regard with this topic, mainly based on modern philosophies of the Natural Rights. In order to do so, it has been opted to analyse the relation of human rights with the philosophy of natural rights, followed by Hegel’s critic to Natural Rights, and as a result, closing with its understanding of the recognition and its influence in the Philosophy of Right and on the establishment in ethic relation in Sittlichkeit.

The relation between philosophy and poetry, showed by Kant in the Critique of Judgment, became the motivation to the thoughts of Friedrich Hölderlin, one of the first moderns poets-philosophers. Due to that, the aim of the presente work is to relate both authors: the philosopher and the poet. Each of them themed the aesthetic their way. Kant did it considering the reflective aspect while Hölderlin considered the perspective of poetic thought as produtive capacity. In order to demonstrate some specific differences between the projects of each author, we’ve exposed kantian’s and hölderlinian’s theories separately. At the beginning we themed the aesthetic foundation of the first and third Kant’s Critique to make explicit the activities of the faculty of the determinative and reflective judgment, through which the argumentation will be built regarding art’s foundation, and the poetry as occupying “the highest position”. On the other hand, in Hölderlin’s aesthetic project, we presented the way from the art’s theoretical assumptions taken out from Kant to the new emphasis the poet gives to the creative activity, producer of poetic genius that, due to the concession of more freedom to the faculty of imagination, exceed what the genius was able to do in Kant’s conception. We conducted a brief presentation of the novel Hyperion by Hölderlin to illustrate this creative ability of the poetic thought. That work, for being inserted in the context of German Idealism, dialogues with the problems discussed during this period. Without intent to a theoretical speculation, Hölderlin poetically shows his conclusions over the task of unification of the oppositions between subject and object, nature and freedom, etc. He can, thus, produce a aesthetic solution that is expressed on the eccentric path’s image lived by the novel’s character, through which he reachs, after some experiences, the dissolution of dissonances, the harmony between nature and freedom, being able to unify the oppositions manifested in it.
A relação entre filosofia e poesia, explicitada por Kant na Crítica da faculdade do juízo, tornou-se motivação do pensamento de Friedrich Hölderlin, um dos primeiros poetas-filósofos modernos. Partindo disso, o presente trabalho busca relacionar esses dois autores: o filósofo e o poeta. Cada um deles tematizou a estética a seu modo. Kant o fez desde o aspecto reflexivo ao passo que Hölderlin desde a perspectiva do pensamento poético enquanto capacidade produtiva. Visando demonstrar algumas diferenças específicas entre os projetos de cada autor, expusemos separadamente a teoria kantiana da hölderliniana. Inicialmente tematizamos os fundamentos estéticos da primeira e da terceira Crítica de Kant, explicitando as atividades da faculdade do juízo determinante e reflexionante, sobre a qual será edificada a argumentação referente à fundamentação da arte, e da poesia como ocupando “a posição mais alta”. Por sua vez, no projeto estético de Hölderlin, apresentamos o caminho percorrido desde os pressupostos teóricos da arte extraídos de Kant até a nova ênfase que o poeta dá à atividade criativa e produtora do gênio poético que, devido à concessão de uma maior liberdade à faculdade da imaginação, ultrapassa aquilo que podia o gênio na concepção kantiana. Conduzimos aqui uma sucinta apresentação do romance Hipérion de Hölderlin para ilustrar essa capacidade criativa do pensamento poético. Esta obra, por estar inserida no contexto do Idealismo alemão, dialoga com o problemas debatidos nesse período. Sem pretender uma especulação teórica, Hölderlin apresenta poeticamente suas conclusões acerca da tarefa de unificação das oposições entre sujeito e objeto, natureza e liberdade, etc. Ele consegue, assim, produzir uma solução estética que se expressa na imagem da via excêntrica vivida pelo personagem do romance, através da qual ele alcança, após várias experiências, a dissolução das dissonâncias, a harmonia entre natureza e liberdade, sendo capaz, assim, de unificar as oposições manifestadas nessa via.

Este trabalho tem como objetivo abordar a leitura que o jovem Hegel faz da filosofia kantiana, tendo como foco o desenvolvimento da noção de especulação a partir da relação estabelecida com a reflexão, característica fundamental daquela filosofia. Através do reconhecimento da presença de idéias especulativas nessa filosofia, Hegel orienta sua interpretação pela crítica ao caráter formal das filosofias da reflexão e ao princípio da subjetividade no qual elas se enraízam. Sua leitura é conduzida pela tentativa de restituir a idéia da razão, como unidade primordial e absoluta do sujeito e objeto, que na filosofia crítica somente pôde ser vislumbrada enquanto tarefa, mas cuja realização se encontra ali de antemão impedida. Pretende-se, ao longo do trabalho, acompanhar como Hegel chega a constatar a ambigüidade inscrita na reflexão filosófica kantiana e de que maneira ele a submete a uma reinterpretação especulativa que destaca, de sua interpretação finita (crítica), uma reflexão especulativa como instrumento positivo do conhecer absoluto. Através do reconhecimento destas duas formas distintas de interpretar o sentido da reflexão e de sua atividade, voltamo-nos ao modo com que Hegel desenvolve a distinção kantiana entre Razão e Entendimento, porém agora não mais compreendidas enquanto faculdades do espírito, mas como modos distintos de interpretação do real.
The aim of this work is to approach the reading by the young Hegel of the Kantian philosophy, with the focus on the development of the notion of speculation out of the relationship established with the reflection, which fundamentally characterizes that philosophy. Through the recognition of the presence of speculative ideas in this philosophy, Hegel guides his interpretation by a critique to the formal character of the reflection philosophies and to the principle of subjectivity upon which they stand. His reading is guided by an attempt to reestablish the idea of reason as the foremost and absolute unity of the subject and object, which in the critical philosophy can only be envisaged as a task, which can not then be accomplished. The intention along this work is to follow how Hegel arrives at the finding of the ambiguity embedded in Kants philosophical reflection and how he submits it to a speculative reinterpretation, which distinguishes from within its finite interpretation (critical) a speculative reflection as a positive instrument of the absolute knowledge. Through recognizing these two distinct forms of interpreting the sense of the reflection and of its activity, we turn back to the manner which Hegel develops the Kantian distinction between Reason and Understanding, no longer seen as faculties of the spirit, but as two distinct ways of interpreting reality.

Vadovaujantis nuostata, kad antikos filosofijos tekstai radosi siekiant užrašyti ne vien teorinės veiklos rezultatus, buvo mėginta naujai perskaityti Platono dialogų apie sielą tetradą – Faidoną, Puotą, Faidrą bei Valstybę. Pritariant kai kurių antikos tyrinėtojų nuomonei, kad filosofavimas yra antikos išminčiaus gyvenimo būdas, buvo siekiama surasti konkrečias sąsajas tarp antikos filosofo veikimo ir kalbėjimo (mąstymo). Tarus, kad antikos filosofui pamatinis dalykas yra gyvenimiška veikla, buvo mėginta filosofavimo siekius ir turinius rekonstruoti atsižvelgiant į tos veiklos specifiką. Vartojant postmodernistinius terminus, į Platono dialogus buvo žvelgiama kaip į tai, kas pasakyta, o jų turinius buvo mėginama perskaityti rekonstruojant antikinio sakymo aplinkybes. Minėtuose dialoguose Platonas aiškinosi filosofavimo prigimtį ir paskirtį, todėl neišvengiamai aptarė filosofijai pamatines – būties, pažinimo bei vertybių problemas. Siejant antikos filosofavimą generuojantį sakymą su rapsodiškuoju bylojimu, o Platono samprotavimus su kai kurių ikisokratiškųjų antikos filosofų ištaromis, buvo pelnytos savitos išvados apie platoniškuosius pamatinių filosofijos problemų sprendimus bei antikinio filosofavimo pradžią. This is an attempt to read anew the 4th tetralogy of Plato’s dialogues on the soul (Symposium, Phaedrus, The Republic and Phaedo) in the light of the viewpoint that the texts of Greek philosophy appeared not just an outcome of the effort to write down the results of theoretical thinking. In accordance with the view of some historians of philosophy that philosophizing should be treated as a way of life of Greek philosophers, an interrelation between the latter’s acting and talking (thinking) is sought. It is attempted to reconstruct the aims and contents of philosophizing from the point of view that life activity was the fundamental for a Greek philosopher. In the post-modern terms, Plato dialogues are treated as the said (le dit) and their contents are read by means of reconstructing the circumstances of the Greek saying (le dire). Plato made an effort to elucidate the origin and vocation of philosophy in the aforesaid dialogues and consequently dealt with the fundamental problems of philosophy, namely, with the problems of being, knowledge and values. The saying, that presumably generated Greek philosophy, was related to rhapsodic telling while Plato’s reasoning – to the utterances of some pre-Socratic philosophers, thus some original conclusions concerning Plato’s solutions of the fundamental problems of philosophy and the origins of Greek philosophizing are reached. O objetivo desta dissertação é explicitar o papel que a ação educativa pode desempenhar para que os educandos efetuem a transição da heteronomia para a autonomia, à luz da filosofia de Immanuel Kant. O problema de pesquisa consiste na seguinte questão: quais são as condições e possibilidades de se ter uma ação educativa capaz de promover nos educandos a transição da heteronomia para a autonomia, de acordo com a filosofia de Immanuel Kant? A dissertação está inserida na linha de pesquisa de Filosofia da Educação, no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade de Caxias do Sul (PPGEd-UCS). Por meio de uma análise interpretativa dos referenciais teóricos, reflete-se, no primeiro capítulo, sobre os aspectos gerais e históricos do Iluminismo, pois fazem parte do ideário iluminista os conceitos de educação e autonomia. Posteriormente, busca-se a aproximação do referido movimento com o pensamento de Immanuel Kant, no intuito de corroborar o entendimento acerca das questõeschave do presente trabalho, utilizando-se, em especial, do texto O que é o Iluminismo? Ao abordar elementos fundamentais da filosofia kantiana e o contexto filosófico no qual se desenvolveu, analisam-se os conceitos de heteronomia e autonomia, utilizando-se como referencial a Fundamentação da metafísica dos costumes. No segundo capítulo, desenvolve-se uma análise interpretativa relativa à educação em Kant, buscando compreender sua concepção pedagógica. Para tanto, utiliza-se como base referencial a obra kantiana intitulada Sobre a pedagogia. No terceiro capítulo, num primeiro momento, elabora-se uma análise interpretativa da importância da filosofia kantiana e das conseqüências da idéia de autonomia na pedagogia contemporânea e, num segundo momento, retomam-se os conceitos de autonomia, heteronomia e educação, procurando explicitar alguns elementos teóricos que permitam refletir sobre as condições e as possibilidades de se ter um processo pedagógico que possa estabelecer uma educação para autonomia. Para tanto, buscou-se referências em autores como, Foucault, Höffe, Piaget e Adorno. É possível educar para a autonomia? No intuito de responder a essa pergunta duas observações são importantes: a) ter presente, como fundamento da consciência dos agentes promotores da educação, a ideia de estabelecer uma ação educativa que prepare o educando para que ele seja capaz de pensar criticamente e de formular os seus próprios juízos, de modo que ele possa decidir como agir nas diferentes circunstâncias da vida; b) refletir sobre a possibilidade da ação educativa para a autonomia, de modo que o professor, por um lado, assuma tal projeto e, por outro, oportunize-o aos alunos a fim de que eles se tornem autônomos.

O problema de pesquisa consiste na seguinte questão: quais são as condições e possibilidades de se ter uma ação educativa capaz de promover nos educandos a transição da heteronomia para a autonomia, de acordo com a filosofia de Immanuel Kant? A dissertação está inserida na linha de pesquisa de Filosofia da Educação, no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade de Caxias do Sul (PPGEd-UCS). Por meio de uma análise interpretativa dos referenciais teóricos, reflete-se, no primeiro capítulo, sobre os aspectos gerais e históricos do Iluminismo, pois fazem parte do ideário iluminista os conceitos de educação e autonomia. Posteriormente, busca-se a aproximação do referido movimento com o pensamento de Immanuel Kant, no intuito de corroborar o entendimento acerca das questõeschave do presente trabalho, utilizando-se, em especial, do texto O que é o Iluminismo? Ao abordar elementos fundamentais da filosofia kantiana e o contexto filosófico no qual se desenvolveu, analisam-se os conceitos de heteronomia e autonomia, utilizando-se como referencial a Fundamentação da metafísica dos costumes. No segundo capítulo, desenvolve-se uma análise interpretativa relativa à educação em Kant, buscando compreender sua concepção pedagógica. Para tanto, utiliza-se como base referencial a obra kantiana intitulada Sobre a pedagogia. No terceiro capítulo, num primeiro momento, elabora-se uma análise interpretativa da importância da filosofia kantiana e das conseqüências da idéia de autonomia na pedagogia contemporânea e, num segundo momento, retomam-se os conceitos de autonomia, heteronomia e educação, procurando explicitar alguns elementos teóricos que permitam refletir sobre as condições e as possibilidades de se ter um processo pedagógico que possa estabelecer uma educação para autonomia. Para tanto, buscou-se referências em autores como, Foucault, Höffe, Piaget e Adorno. É possível educar para a autonomia? No intuito de responder a essa pergunta duas observações são importantes: a) ter presente, como fundamento da consciência dos agentes promotores da educação, a ideia de estabelecer uma ação educativa que prepare o educando para que ele seja capaz de pensar criticamente e de formular os seus próprios juízos, de modo que ele possa decidir como agir nas diferentes circunstâncias da vida; b) refletir sobre a possibilidade da ação educativa para a autonomia, de modo que o professor, por um lado, assuma tal projeto e, por outro, oportunize-o aos alunos a fim de que eles se tornem autônomos.

No atual momento histórico, pautado pela globalização neoliberal, o que se observa é o desenvolvimento cada vez maior das contradições sociais. Essas, por sua vez, vêm aflorando com maior vigor no seio dessa sociedade neoliberal, que se apresenta como a única possível para a humanidade. Estando o processo de globalização neoliberal acompanhado do avanço tecnológico, o que se pode ser observado é o advento da sociedade tecnizada. A partir do pressuposto de que a sociedade tecnizada requer uma maior qualificação do indivíduo, é que se está pesquisando a contribuição da educação na efetivação dessa exigência. Assim, compreendendo a esfera educacional como possível veículo dessa qualificação e buscando advogar que esse processo deve seguir a politecnia, é que se está analisando nessa dissertação como o filosofar pode contribuir para a formação da qualificação politécnica, conseqüentemente, de um indivíduo mais crítico e atuante. Um indivíduo que tenha consciência de seu compromisso com os problemas postos nesse início de milênio. Por entender que o estudo da politecnia não deve circular simplesmente no âmbito teórico, mas também prático, é que se trilhou o caminho da etnografia. Como o desenvolvimento da etnografia requer um objeto empírico, optou-se pelo Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica da Bahia - CEFET-BA, onde fora priorizado o Ensino Médio mais precisamente duas turmas da disciplina"Ética e Cidadania". Como não entendemos a sala de aula como uma caixa blindada,que pode ser isolada do contexto histórico e, conseqüentemente,da dinâmica extra sala da escola, é que se buscou vivenciar o processo educacional do referido Centro Educacional, buscando desvelar a trama da teia de relações ali construídas.

Abstract:
As we move further into the 21st century, social observers are increasingly aware of the individual yet collective forms of spiritual practices emerging globally. In this study, I focus on two specific practices, yoga and Buddhism, as framed in the teachings of Master Thich Nhat Hanh, which have significant impacts on individuals in the late modern city of Hong Kong. This research investigates the implications these practices pose for self-identity in late modernity. Using semi-structured, face-to-face, in-depth interviews of forty individuals who have been engaging in these practices in Hong Kong during 2008-2009, I investigate the self-identity of these individuals using Anthony Giddens’ theoretical framework of selfhood. I propose the following questions: (1) How do these individuals respond to the conditions of late modernity in Hong Kong? (2) How do these individuals experience Giddens’ four dilemmas of late modernity (unification versus fragmentation, powerlessness versus appropriation, authority versus uncertainty, personalization versus fragmentation) and in what ways do they cope with these dilemmas? (3) How do these individuals engagement with these practices interact with their life trajectories and manifest the main features of Giddens’ reflexive project (lifestyles and life plans, the pure relationship, the body and self-actualization)? Several findings have emerged from the data that empirically affirm Giddens’ self-reflexivity framework: (1) the self-identity of individuals engaging in yoga and/or Master Thick Nhat Hanh’s teachings is reflexively understood in terms of their personal biographies; (2) from each distinctive biography, individuals use these practices to find a balance of the four dilemmas outlined in Giddens’ theoretical framework, namely, unification versus fragmentation, powerlessness versus appropriation, authority versus uncertainty and personalization versus commoditication; (3) three trajectories emerge from the data: the “healing self”; the “health/exercise self”; and the “lifestyle/re-emerging self.” These patterns show how individuals manage threats to selfhood in a late modern society while finding ways to achieve personal development and increased self-awareness. By empirically testing the applicability of Giddens’ theory through the study of these two mind/body practices in Hong Kong, this research has contributed to the field of modern sociology by: (1) offering an in-depth and systematic qualitative inquiry into practices of spirituality that are undertaken on both the individual and global level, (2) addressing the prevailing research gap by empirically supporting and expanding the utility of Giddens’ self-reflexive project and (3) presenting an accessible analysis of the concepts informing the idea of self-identity and how conditions of late modernity influence this process.
