Disertacija Turističke vrednosti Topličkog kraja obuhvata osnove razvoja turizma na prostoru od 2230 km2, na kome živi oko 110000 stanovnika i koji je prirodno i kulturno-istorijski veoma specifičan. U banjskom turizmu ima dugu tradiciju. Savremeno stanje turizma nije zadovoljavajuće. Toplički kraj u pro&scaron;losti je bio na udaru raznih osvajača i za posledicu ima vekovna iseljavanja, malu gustinu naseljenosti i nedovoljnu razvijenost ne samo turizma već i ostalih privrednih delatnosti. Osnovno opredeljenje za razvoj turizma u Topličkom kraju zasniva se na prirodnim i antropogenim vrednostima koje nisu dovoljno iskori&scaron;ćene. Okosnicu razvoja turizma Topličkog kraja predstavlja Prolom banja koja po ostvarenom prometu spada u red vodećih banja u Srbiji.<br>The abstract has been processed with OCR optical text recognition technology:The dissertation &ldquo;tourist values of Toplica region &lsquo; includes the bases of the tourism develompment at the area of 2 230 km2, populated by I 10 000 residents and hisloriccaly and culturally as well as environmentaly a very specific one.It has a reliable infrastructure ,a numbre of tourist reslaruant and other facilities and a long tradition in the spa tourism.Nevertheless , (he present slate of tourism is not satisfactory.Toplica region was tried to be invaded by many invaders in the past and consequently people migrated through ccntui iesahe desity of population is low , and not only is tourism insufficiently developed but other economic branches also.According to the areal functional division of Serbia , Toplica region , that is its upper part belongs to middle Kopaonik zone of high montainous regie ns.The basic determination for tourist development of Toplica region is based on natural and anthropogenic values which have got been enough exploited so far.Devil&#39;s city - a curiosity of the world importance , thanks to the insufficient traffic connection and the lack of accomodation facilities in the area is not well enough affirmerd.The basis of tourism development in Toplica region is the spa of Prolom which , according to the tourist circulation is one of the leading spas in Serbia.The receptive basis of the tourist offer of Toplica rcgion( 1967 beds in 1996, of which 956 belonging to public property), is not enough for more intesive develompenl of tourism.By the way , neither the structure of already existing accomodation faci ities meets the requests of modern tourism.The hotel accomodation is usuallytwo - starred , with not enough facilities , whereas complementary accomodation facilities arc in small numbers , insufficiently functionals.and therefore insufficicnty used in the function of tourist development. NATO agression led by America has severely damaged Toploica region.Damage on communicationsystems and accomodation facilities had a catastrophic influence on the decrease of tourist coming and staying , and therefore on the development of tourism too.

Abstract:
Spiš region is one of the most interesting regions in Slovakia. It has many natural and cultural monuments, sports and recreational facilities and other tourist attractions. This natural and cultural heritage is of transnational importance. Moreover, the unique combination of diverse attractions, which are concentrated in a small area, is the main source of competitive advantage. The thesis is focused on the analysis of conditions for development of tourism and analysis of marketing activities of the region. First, we assessed the primary and secondary offer of the destination. Although it is relatively wide, the problem is its concentration in the larger tourist centers and cities, often poor quality of services or inadequate price for offered quality. On the field of marketing activities, two main ideas for support of the development of tourism are proposed. Firstly, it is a clear definition (geographically) of the region as a destination. Secondly, an existance of a tourist organization that would promote cooperation between individual entities and public sector and create a single marketing strategy for the region Spiš is proposed. Spis region has a great potential for tourism, but needs to use and develop constantly.

Abstract:
This diploma thesis analyzes the development potential of film tourism for the domestic tourism of the Czech Republic. The aim is to determine whether the Czech Republic is perceived by residents as an attractive tourist destination for leisure or vacation and if they would be interested in film tourism products. The introductory chapter is devoted to the definition of basic concepts relating to tourism and destination marketing. The second theoretical part pays attention to film tourism and its characterization, including the definition of the concept, history of the development of film tourism, typology of film tourists and a description of its forms and products. Closely are described the possibilites of using the film as a destination marketing tool in the different life stages of the film (before, during and after filming) and the function of individual institutions dedicated to the promotion of film regions in the country. The practical part analyzes the development potential of film tourism in the Czech Republic, which is based on the analysis of secondary sources and a survey among residents. The attention is payed to the popularity of czech film production, the current state of the domestic tourism and to the offer of film tourism products in the Czech Republic. The last chapter is devoted to the proposal of a solution of film tourism product for a selected destination of the Czech Republic - Usti Region.

A thesis is concerned with the functioning of the State Castle and Chateau of Cesky Krumlov and with the impact of the UNESCO monument on the krumlov's tourist destination and region. A theoretical part is focused on area of the legal regulations of monument preservation and on possibilities of the financing of historical monuments in the Czech republic, as well as on economic contexts of the historical areas and on the theory of regional development and tourist trade. An applicative part focuses on the rich history of krumlov's region, as well as on the building and historical development of the town Český Krumlov. The basic part is dedicated to the economic analyze of functioning of the castle and to the effectiveness of functioning of krumlov's tourist destination. Krumlov should be apprehended in the wider regional context therefore is final part dedicated to the analyze of potential regional tourist corridors. The aim of this thesis is to make analyze of functioning of the State Castle and Chateau Český Krumlov in light of effectiveness and operating potential into the future and demonstrate basis functional absences and unimproved developing potentiality of krumlov's tourist destination in the wider context of regional development.

Práce popisuje a hodnotí stav CR v turistickém regionu Plzeňsko. Na základě toho je provedena SWOT analýza a jsou navrženy možnosti dalšího rozvoje a opatření, která by mohla pomoci nejen ke zvýšení návštěvnosti Plzeňska, ale také k prodloužení pobytu návštěvníka a k celkovému zvýšení atraktivity a povědomí o Plzeňsku. Teoretická část se zabývá pojmem cestovní ruch. Další kapitoly charakterizují Plzeňsko a materiálně - technickou základnu oblasti, analyzují návštěvnost regionu, zabývají se nejvýznamnějšími formami CR, které jsou pro Plzeňsko typické. Jsou uvedeny výsledky vlastního dotazníkového průzkumu a jednotlivé nástroje propagace a podpory rozvoje cestovního ruchu v regionu.

Formerly-by-tourism-untouched region has experienced development of the tourism industry and this fact has lead to a need of an effective tourist destination management approach. The destination marketing and management is not done by one superior institution but it is performed by many subjects. The most important ones are the Ostrava city and the Moravian-Silesian Region. The thesis analyzes their planned and realized projects and destination products. The end is dedicated to a suggestion of a new destination product - the Ostrava tourist card.

Il presente elaborato propone una traduzione parziale della guida turistica Русский Север [Nord Russo] della collana Русский Гид Полиглот [Guida Russa Poliglotta] e di materiale informativo raccolto presso le agenzie turistiche di Arcangelo, Russia. Il fine ultimo dell'elaborato è di invitare il turista italiano al viaggio nel Nord Russo, una meta estremamente distante sia dal punto di vista geografico che culturale. A questo scopo vengono forniti consigli pratici e chiavi di lettura per accompagnare il lettore nella scoperta di questa regione e della sua cultura. L'elaborato prosegue con un commento in cui vengono esposte le principali strategie traduttive adottate, ponendo particolare attenzione sullo stile utilizzato e sulle difficoltà di tipo lessicale, come la traduzione di realia russi o di termini specifici. Il commento comprende anche un confronto tra il testo originale e la traduzione in italiano per giustificare le scelte intraprese e offrire spunti di riflessione sulla ricchezza della lingua russa e italiana.

La diffusione dei social media aumenta di anno in anno e coinvolge sempre più utenti. I protagonisti di questo nuovo scenario sono soprattutto utenti semplici che utilizzano i social come mezzo di informazione e per rimanere in contatto con i propri amici. Ma negli ultimi anni anche numerose imprese sono approdate sui social media per aumentare la propria brand awareness. È quindi necessario che queste aziende analizzino le proprie performance e confrontino la propria strategia con quella dei concorrenti diretti, per rendere sempre di più efficace il loro utilizzo dei social. Questa tesi è incentrata su due elementi fondamentali: lo sviluppo di una piattaforma software per l’analisi delle pagine Facebook e i profili Twitter ed un esempio applicativo di analisi sui due social media in esame. La piattaforma permette di analizzare uno o due account scelti dall’utente visualizzando grafici relativi all’utilizzo dei social media e misurare la risposta dei fan tramite la metrica dell’engagement. L’esempio applicativo, invece, riguarda l’analisi degli account ufficiali per la promozione turistica delle regioni italiane sui due social media e propone un’analisi quantitativa sui dati estratti, una regressione sui dati per valutare quali siano le possibili variabili di influenza sull’engagement e un confronto tra i dati estratti dai due social media Facebook e Twitter.

This diploma thesis will show how mutual cooperation of small and medium businesses in a tourism cluster can increase promotion and revenue in the tourism industry. Theoretical part of this study presents definitions, characteristics and typology of clusters. Later on, the theoretical part describes practices in the mapping of clusters and a cluster's lifecycle. The last chapters will summarize the benefits of clusters to its stakeholders and means of financing and program support via EU grants. Practical part is focused on the strategy of a tourism cluster in the Central Bohemian region of the Czech Republic. This strategy also includes useful examples of how the cluster members can actively and effectively participate in managing mutual activities and projects. Operations, organizational structure, finance and support are also topics that are going to be discussed in this study.

There has been a deep examination of the chosen company done in order to analyze the company’s touristic programs and its activities. In the practical part I concentrate on the Shumava-west microregion, analysis of selected factors of destination competitiveness and comparison of selected factors of competitiveness of two microregions. The conclusion consists of summary rating and improving proposals for the status of the Shumava-west microregion on the tourism market.

This thesis work describes the hiking, bicycle, ski, and horse trails in the region known as ?Czech Canada?, specifically the area between Nová Bystřice, Kunžák, and Slavonice marked on the hiking map ?Česká Kanada a Slavonicko? on a 1:50,000 scale. The introductory chapters characterize the territorial layout from the physical-geographic and socio-geographic aspects and include an analysis of used literature. The methodology of work is taken from thesis works of a similar topic defended at the Department of Geography. This is followed by a description of individual hiking trails ? in text form as well as in information panels (this includes information on the surface type, the surrounding landscape, monuments in the area, geometry of the trails, and more). These texts, panels, and attached map with a drawing of the described trails permit one to embark on individual hiking, bicycle, ski, and other tourist journeys. The conclusion of the work is supplemented by a didactic transformation of the resolved issue. The attachment consists of photographs and a glossary of topographical terms.

This paper identifies seven objects in Velké Meziříčí region that has traces of historical use as mills or sawmills. Four educational tourist trails were suggested for the purposes of this paper, connecting information about mills and sawmills history and forests and their development in the region. One of the trails was chosen based on different criteria (including the historical value of objects and natural value of the forests) and for this trail was prepared a detailed description of places with map basis. The paper will be used as a basis for construction of new tourist and bike trails in the region.

This diploma thesis deals with the function of regional destination management organizations in Czechia. Destination management organizations are founded to implement destination management at various spatial levels (national, regional, local). In Czechia, the issue of destination management is a relatively new area of research. The aim of this work is to clarify the role of destination companies as one of the regional development actors with an emphasis on the development of tourism. The theoretical base is network theory and the concept of destination governance along with other base of the cooperation of actors in tourism development. For purpose to get a general insight into the situation of destination management in Czechia, the analysis of the regional destination companies is a part of the work. In addition, thesis includes the case study of the tourist area of Orlicke hory and Podorlicko, in which the destination company of the same name operates. The case study includes analysis of strategic documents and annual reports of selected actors, semi- structured interviews with representatives of selected organizations from the region and a questionnaire survey among the members of the destination management organization. Abstract:
Thesis deals with possibilities of rural tourism in the Highlands region. This part of the Czech Republic is, with its rural character, sufficient number of farmsteads and cottages and cultural and historical potential, very suitable for rural tourism. People go still more and more back to stays in the nature with opportunities for active holiday. Rural tourism is in the Czech Republic in the beginning and although the number of providers of this kind of tourism as well as interest of tourists has been increased during last years, it is not the main source of income yet. The aim of the work is to find out and evaluate the offer and extent of servises concerning rural tourism in the Highlands. As a tool for collecting information was used the questionnaire, which was distributed between providers. On the base of evaluated information, new possibilities of rural tourism development in the region were sketched and ideas to owners of rural tourism buildings were suggested.

Abstract:
The main objective of this thesis is the definition of tourism supply and demand of tourism to the region Bystřice Pernštejnem. The demand for the region is established on the basis of the survey. The first sub-goal is to evaluate the impact of tourism on the budget of municipalities. In this first part is carried out field research among the mayors of municipalities in the region on their perceptions of tourism. Evaluation of the impact of tourism is carried out on the town budget Bystřice Pernštejnem.First discussed are the revenues, expenditures, and finally the overall impact. Part of this section are evaluated impacts on employment and value of tourist activities found in the region. The second sub-goal is to assess the impact of subsidies on production in the region. This section compares the projects in the field of tourism and other projects on the basis of the calculated gross value added of these observed effects support. The last sub-goal is to determine the multiplier of tourism. Part of this section is a national regionalization symmetric input-output tables for the region SO ORP Bystřice Pernštejnem. Based on the tables are compiled using the technical coefficients matrix, Leontief inverse matrix and matrix Leontieofovi input multipliers calculated for each economic activity. Consequently, expenditure of tourists found the overall multiplier of tourism for the region Bystřice Pernštejnem spending tourists and the impact on production in the region.

It evaluates, according to shortened programme period, the role of district authorities and chosen municipalities as applicants for grants and supporters to other applicants. Attention is also paid to relationships between municipalities and tourist information centers, which are important subject in the process of passing information to tourists and visitors.

Abstract:
This diploma thesis is focused on the current state of management and organization of tourism in the South Bohemian region and on finding the current offer of tourism products in the context of the development of destination management and marketing. The theoretical part defines the applied theory, related to the solved topic. Primary data was obtained from managed interviews with product managers of South Bohemian tourist areas and from an interview with the director of the South Bohemian Tourism Authority. Secondary data was drawn from websites of individual tourist areas, from www.jiznicechy.cz and from many prospectuses. In the practical part, the tourism management organization applied in the Czech Republic was compared with the organization in selected foreign destinations. As well as an analysis of individual tourist areas was carried out. On the basis of the conducted analyzes and primary research, measures and recommendations were proposed to support the development of destination management and increase the competitiveness of the South Bohemian Region.

The main aim of this thesis is through the analysis to monitor the domestic tourism in the Region of South Bohemia, to determine participant satisfaction and domestic tourism, and build its profile. A partial aim is to prepare the methodology of investigation of domestic tourism in a chosen area. A part of this thesis is a questioning, which was realised during the summer of 2010 in selected locations in the Region of South Bohemia. Locations were chosen deliberately (based on information from secondary sources). Specifically, the recreational area around the left bank of the Lipno lake, the State Castle and Chateau Český Krumlov, the State Chateau Hluboká, the State Chateau Červená Lhota, the Rosenberg Castle and the Tourist Information Centre Tábor. The outcome of this thesis is the profile of domestic visitor in the Region of South Bohemia and the methodology of build the profile of domestic visitor in an arbitrarily selected area.

Abstract:
The main aim of the present dissertation has been the proposition and the following verification of tourist routes of the Kožlany region, so that they would comply with the pedagogic/recreational needs of first grade pupils. The routes are also eligible for pupils of higher grades, without losing value or meaning. I have chosen the Kožlany region for the vast majority of the tourist routes because of its unusual and picturesque scenery with slight terrain elevation and unpredictable landscape changes, thus being a surprisingly refreshing and interesting region to travel through. Besides differentiated terrain Kožlany is a region with a large wood covered area of remarkable beauty and historical monuments which are rarely mentioned yet deliver an unforgettable experience of history and greatness. Among the most important edifices are the monasteries of Plasy and Marianská Tynice. Although other monuments have lesser historical importance than the mentioned monasteries, they do not fail to captivate with their uniqueness and splendor. Examples of such monuments and historical sites are the ruined fortresses of Krašov and Krakovec, the hunting chateau Angerbach, the Jewish cemetery in Kožlany and others. The town of Kožlany is a small, but on the other hand a very interesting place. Two important historical figures are linked with the town, concretely the Czech king Vaclav I. and the second President of the Czechoslovak Republic, Dr. Edward Beneš. Both personalities are mentioned in the dissertation in concordance with their relevance to the tourist routes. The routes have been conceived for hiking, some of them also for cycling tourism, taking in account the amazing nature around Kožlany. The dissertation further includes a theoretical part which concentrates on the content, forms and especially on the importance of tourism in education. It also deals with the representation of tourism related activities in the instructional basis for the first grade development programs for primary, general and national schools. Each of the designed routes is thoroughly characterized according to its length, difficulty, duration, initial point, target point and the attractiveness of spots which should not be missed on the way. A detailed description of each journey's course with maps and additional photographic materials is to be found in the dissertation. Legends or fairy-tales are included in the case of some routes to make them more pleasant and meaningful for the travelling children, eventually adults. Every route has a specific name to keep a clear overview of all the routes as well as to motivate the possible travellers. The dissertation provides a wide range of materials and facts that will help the teacher orientate in the concrete journey and pass new knowledge to his pupils. A variety of games that could be relevantly played in the course of the journey are offered as well.\\

Abstract:
This thesis deals with the phenomenon of attendance of Marienbad and its region in the 19th and at the beginning of the 20th century, when travelling for health and progress of tourism in spas became an inseparable part of social, economic and political life. The thesis shows everyday spa life in this period from the point of view of spa visitors, at the same time emphasizes social and economic aspect of given problems of history, as well as progress of tourism and travelling in this area. The thesis is regionally focused, but it has also more general overlap to the question of balneology and health resorts in European benchmark. The thesis shows Marienbad as a cosmopolitan place - meeting point of cultural, political, economic and territorial elite.
