Abstract:
AbstractFormulas for distributions of number of ones (non-zeroes) in the cycle of the output sequence of generalized binary Pohl generator are obtained. Limit theorems for these distributions are derived in the case when the lengths of registers are coprime and tend to infinity, the contents of different registers are independent, but cell contents within each register may be dependent. The consequences of these theorems are given for the case when the contents of cells are independent random variables having equiprobable distribution on {0, 1}.

Abstract:
The authors follow the traditional «general-particular» structure and present a systemic study of the problem of considering registers that support self-regulation in construction to be objects of crime (primarily, from the viewpoint of subjective and functional factors). They analyze the concept of a «unified state register» used in criminal legislation, single out and critically assess the «literal» and the «meaning-based» interpretative approaches. Besides, they prove the necessity of the immediate inclusion of a specific register as an object of crime in the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and (or) in a special law; they also claim that the legal value of this register should be viewed as the most important criterion during such regulation. The object of a detailed study (its subject and maintenance procedure, contents and legal role, transparency and public authenticity, and others) is every register that supports self-regulation in construction. The authors also draw attention to the fact that only the state register of self-regulatory organizations is subject to the rules of Art. 285.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. As for other — «conditionally public» — registers (register of self-regulatory organization’s members and national registers of specialists), the authors present arguments in favor of criminalizing most dangerous actions connected with the distortion of their data. They conclude that it is necessary to eliminate the ambiguity of interpreting the concept of a register as an object of crime. It is proven that the development of legislation in this area should be connected with the unification of terminology (and its agreement with the cate-gories of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and the inclusion of a specific register in the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and (or) a special law as an object of crime.

Abstract:
Reflecting on a decade (2009–2020) of research on influencer cultures in Singapore, the Asia Pacific, and beyond, this article considers the potential of “below the radar” studies for understanding the fast evolving and growing potentials of subversive, risky, and hidden practices on social media. The article updates technology and social media scholar danah boyd’s foundational work on “networked publics” to offer the framework of “refracted publics.” While “networked publics” arose from media and communication studies of social network sites during the decade of the 2000s, focused on platforms, infrastructure, and affordances, “refracted publics” is birthed from anthropological and sociological studies of internet user cultures during the decade of the 2010s, focused on agentic and circumventive adaptations of what platforms offer them. “Refracted publics” are a product of the landscape of platform data leaks, political protests, fake news, and (most recently) COVID-19, and are creative vernacular strategies to accommodate for perpetual content saturation, hyper-competitive attention economies, gamified and datafied metric cultures, and information distrust. The key conditions (transience, discoverability, decodability, and silosociality) and dynamics (impactful audiences, weaponized contexts, and alternating publics and privates) of “refracted publics” allow cultures, communities, and contents to avoid being registered on a radar, register in misplaced pockets while appearing on the radar, or register on the radar but parsed as something else altogether. They are the strategies of private groups, locked platforms, or ephemeral contents that will continue to thrive alongside the internet for decades to come.

Abstract:
YouTube as one of the most popular online platforms today, has brought millions of videos with a variety of entertaining and useful content and has made millions of internet users get access to YouTube. This benefits the content creators so they are competing to make interesting, unique and high-quality videos. Considering the increasing number of YouTubers and Vloggers appearing in Indonesia along with the large number of subscribers indicates that their emergence has become a new trend among the younger generation today. Therefore, this research is worth making to investigate the effect of the variety of Indonesian You Tuber and Vlogger on young people's language behavior. The research data is derived from a number of videos uploaded by IndonesianYoutuber and Vlogger by filtering representative content. To obtain the data on the effect of Indonesian You Tubers and Vlogers on the language behavior of the younger generation, it was carried out through questionnaires, interviews, and observations of youth groups to be able to hear firsthand variety of their languages. The data retrieval is done on sampling method of some contents of Youtuber and Vlogger analyzed, then listening to the language used both verbally and non verbally, after that note-taking and documenting the language variety. The data were qualitatively analyzed by appying several sociolinguistic theories. The results of the analysis were descriptively presented to reveal the variety of languages used by well-known Youtubers and Vlogers such as Atta Halilintar, Ria Ricis, Raffi Ahmad, etc. by using light and easy to understand language such as the word gaeess, kuy, tercyduk Youtuber or Vlogger's style of language has an impact on the language behavior of the younger generation today, where they often adopt their favorite Youtuber language style, especially jargon and slang words that often adorn teenagers' conversations today. However this cannot be said to have a negative effect on language behavior because they are quite selective in absorbing and using the Indonesian Youtuber's and Vlogger's language styles. SummaryElaborate measures for donor selection and the production of clotting factor concentrates have led to a high safety standard of these products. A multimodal approach to eliminate unwanted contents has been established by strict screening of possible donors and various inactivation procedures within the production process. The systematic registration of adverse events shows very few allergic and nonallergic reactions to plasma derived clotting factor concentrates. In none of the registered cases transmission of infections could be verified. The worldwide registration of such adverse events is not yet sufficiently established, since adequate structures are lacking in some countries. According to estimates, far less than half of occurring adverse events are registered in Germany. A European solution in the form of an official register is about to be introduced.

Abstract:
Language and social concerns facilitate every communicative text. Based on that, the study considered the advertising text, as a test ground to explore the relationships between language and socio-cultural norms as revealers of the Register of advertising. Considered for the investigation are ten advertisements of Guinness®, Peak Milk®, Gulder®, Coca cola®, Pepsi®, Stanbic IBTC®, etc., upon which Ideational, Interpersonal and Textual Metafunctions served as tools of analysis. Besides the report that Material Processes such as come to, reshaped, make, is wasting, etc. dominate the contents, a Behavioral Process of rests on also performs a role in the Register analysis. The study further reveals digitization (*945#), local language intrusion (Oga), personification (bourn = born), clipping (diff) as context devices in the business environment. There are also Register(s) of neologism (Pecadomo), poetic and sermonized texts to persuade recipients. As the investigation has revealed SFL as a viable processor of Register(s), it thus suggests that its application to other texts outside advertising might yield meaningful results. Such exercise could assist in the understanding of novel items that could contribute to language development.

Abstract:
This paper presents a web-based simulator for an educational pipelined RISC processor, developed at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade. The architecture and organisation of the processor are devised to include typical features of both the RISC architecture and the pipelined organisation. Its graphical simulator makes it possible to follow parts of the processor organisation at both the global level and the register transfer level. The simulator, also, enables the navigation through all parts of the processor, the customisable notifications of significant events during the execution of an instruction and the tracking of relevant values of signals and contents of registers and memory locations. The execution of instructions can be carried out forward one clock or the whole programme and can be returned one clock backward. The simulator is aimed to be used both for exercises in a laboratory and individual student training via the Internet.

Abstract:
Internet-registers are having an increasing role in healthcare informatics. Understanding the motivations and expectations of people choosing to use such registers is important, and these aspects were investigated regarding people with MS who registered on the UK MS Register. An objective was to explore relationships between these factors and the source from which participants first learned about this Register, as this is relevant to how registers are publicised. The responses from a large number of participants (N = 2,675) to questions about the source by which they discovered the Register, why they registered, and how they thought it should be used, were qualitatively analysed using a ‘word cloud’ technique and traditional content analysis strategy to provide a more detailed analysis. The significant trends that emerged from these analyses were the importance to the participants of: studying MS; raising awareness about MS; improving and developing services and policies regarding MS; assisting others with MS; the Register as a resource for people with, and affected by, MS; the Register as an aid to themselves; and it being an open resource for all professionals and government bodies.

Abstract:
Purpose of the study: This paper deals with problematic issues related to the legal nature of a marriage contract. It also determines the contents of a marriage contract, which is regulated mainly by Article 19 of the PRC Law "On Marriage" of 2001 and the basic principles of civil law inherent in contract law in general. Methodology: A common example is the cases when spouses agreed to transfer immovable property from one spouse to another after marriage, but in practice, the spouses did not register changes on the status of the immovable property. In the event of a divorce, one of the spouses requires to recognize the ownership of the real estate and register the changes, while the other spouse disputes that point. Results: In recent years, marriage contracts have become increasingly popular in China, but special regulations on them in China's Marriage and Family Law are still unavailable. There are a lot of disputes and issues in practice relating to the definition of a marriage contract. In this regard, the question of the legal nature and content of a marriage contract is the subject of debatable research in Chinese legal doctrine. Applications of this study: This research can be used for the universities, teachers, and students. Novelty/Originality of this study: In this research, the model of Revisiting the legal nature and content of a marriage contract in the modern law of the PRC is presented in a comprehensive and complete manner.

Abstract:
A State Depression Scale was developed in order to register variations of depressive mood. The Scale has satisfactory reliability, as shown by its internal homogeneity and temporal stability. Concurrent validity of the Scale indicated that the Scale correlates with a POMS-D scale (r = 0.41; p < 0.00), and with the Depressive Personality Scale (r = 0.36; p < 0.00). Divergent validity of the Scale was tested by Scale's correlation with the two measures of state anxiety (STAI-S and POMS-A) and was shown to be unsatisfactory since it was as high as the Scale's correlation with scales of depressive affect. Principal Component Analysis extracted four factors: two broader factors, which included depressive-affective contents combined with anxious and depressive-cognitive symptoms, respectively; and another two factors which related to motivational and behavioral characteristics. Sensitivity of the Scale was tested in an experimental setting involving induction of depressive and euphoric mood. The Scale showed high ability to register changes following induction of depressive mood. .

The paper is devoted to the coverage of the category of administrative procedure for the provision of public services for state registration of real rights to immovable property. The categories «stage», «administrative procedure for the provision of public services» and «stages of the administrative procedure for the provision of public services» are compared. A description of the stages of the procedure for providing public services for state registration of real property rights is given. It is emphasized that the administrative procedure for state registration of real property rights has consisted of the following stages: 1) submission of applications and documents to it includes actions such as acceptance and verification of documents submitted for state registration of rights and encumbrances; application registration, etc.; 2) consideration of the case or investigation of all circumstances related to the provision of public service; 3) making a decision on the provision of public service for state registration of real rights to immovable property; 4) making entries in the state register of rights to provide public services for state registration of real rights to immovable property; 5) issuance of documents for the provision of public services for state registration of real rights to immovable property. Attention is drawn to the fact that the main tasks of the stage of acceptance and verification of documents for public services submitted for state registration of rights and their encumbrances stage are: verification of documents on payment of administrative fees for public services and extraction from the State Register of Rights; acceptance of applications and documents required for state registration of rights; registration of the application in the database on registration of applications and inquiries; verification of documents for compliance with general requirements.

Abstract:
Taking inspiration from life experience, the authors have devised a new form of computer memory. Certain conjectures about human memory are keys to the central idea. This paper presents a design of a practical and useful “cognitive” memory system in which the new memory does not function like a computer memory where specific data is stored in specific numbered registers; retrieval is done by reading the contents of the specified memory register, or done by matching key words as with a document search. Incoming sensory data would be stored at the next available empty memory location and could be stored redundantly at several empty locations. The stored sensory data would neither have key words nor would it be located in known or specified memory locations. Retrieval would be initiated by a prompt signal from a current set of sensory inputs or patterns. The search would be done by a retrieval system that makes use of auto-associative artificial neural networks. In this paper, the authors present a practical application of this cognitive memory system to human facial recognition.

Abstract:
A few years after its foundation (1993), the Centre for Physical Anthro pology at the University started cooperation with the Estonian Anthropometric Register. Together, it was decided to publish the Estonian-language Yearbook of the Estonian Anthropometric Register to preserve and develop Estonian as the language of research in anthropology. By that time, the Centre for Physical Anthropology had also started to publish the collection Papers on Anthropology in English. The article provides an overview of the Yearbooks of the Estonian Anthropometric Register 1998–2002. The covers of the yearbooks were designed by Michael Walsh and the language editor was Leelo Jago. From 1999, all the articles were accompanied by summaries in English. The Yearbook of 2002 is indexed in SPORTDiscus database. All the Yearbooks were printed by University of Tartu Press. The overview presents the cover, title page and contents of the first Yearbook; the following Yearbooks are represented only by the contents and summaries of prefaces by editor-in-chief Helje Kaarma.General characterisation of the five Yearbooks: 1129 pages in total, 125 published publications, 125 researchers as their first authors, in addition to them 171 co-authors; thus, 296 researchers participated as authors of articles. Actually, these numbers turn out to be smaller, as the number of authors of articles ranges between one and eight.Based on this, a table has been compiled about the distribution of articles per number of authors. The second part of the overview presents, as Tables, the distribution of articles according to their first authors by years and the distribution of articles between the authors from Tartu and Tallinn, and from the institutions of these towns. We also add the list of co-authors and the numbers of their participation in the articles of the Yearbooks.Based on the overview, it can be said that the five Yearbooks of the Estonian Anthropometric Register published from 1998–2002, their 125 publications and 56 researchers as first authors and their 77 co-authors, thus a total of 133 authors have a definite and constant role and significance in the preservation and development of Estonian as a language of research in this period. The question arises whether there is any other branch of research in Estonia, the representatives of which would have done anything similar in these years or earlier for the preservation and development of Estonian as a research language in their area, not only published articles in English.

Abstract:
The cognitive core process of mathematical activity is the recognition of a same object in two semiotic representations whose respective contents have nothing in common with each other. It is also the recurrent and insuperable difficulty of comprehension in learning mathematics and the main impediment to solving problems for most students. The theory of registers provides a cognitive analysis of the way of working and thinking in mathematics. It highlights the key cognitive factors to be taken into account in Mathematics Education for all students up to the age of 16. To give an insight into the theory this paper focuses on two topics. How to introduce letters and elementary algebra? How to learn to solve problems in mathematics? And to avoid the confusion of words arising in Mathematics Education whenever we talk about « theories », we shallshow how to analyze in terms of registers the mathematical tasks related to these two topics. This allow us to identify the cognitive thresholds to be crossed to understand and to solve problems in mathematics. Analyzing mathematical activity in terms of registers is quite different from the prevailing mathematical view. This concerns the hidden face of mathematical activity and not its exposed face. We are broaching here the crucial issue about teaching mathematics to all students up to the age of 16. What should be its objectives and priority areas? Keywords: Register. Transformation of Semiotic Representation. Conversion. Treatment. Discursive operation.

Abstract Several important excerpts from reservoir models have been tested on the Cray-1 and Cyber 205. The timings of these kernels are examined and explained by analyzing the architectural differences of the two machines. Interesting conclusions as to the strengths and weaknesses of the two machines are drawn. Introduction In the past 2 years, the Cray-1 has asserted itself in the petroleum industry as an extremely valuable tool for petroleum industry as an extremely valuable tool for reservoir simulation and geophysical data analysis. Recent analysis of the capabilities of the Cyber 205 indicates that it also has the potential of being a very valuable tool in these areas. The intent of this paper is to analyze the differences of these two machines in light of several important computational kernels. A few architectural differences between the Cyber 205 and the Cray-1 are examined and discussion follows on how these differences show up in the actual timings of the kernels. Comparison of Architectures Both the Cray-1 and the Cyber 205 are vector processors--i.e., they obtain high performance rates from processors--i.e., they obtain high performance rates from segmented functional units, which enables them to overlap multiple operations and consequently produce one or more floating point results per click cycle. The largest difference between the two machines is that the Cyber 205 is a memory-to-memory vector processor, while the Cray-1 is a register-to-register vector processor. Figs. 1 and 2 illustrate this difference. The Cyber 205 processor. Figs. 1 and 2 illustrate this difference. The Cyber 205 actually picks up operands directly from memory and deposits them back into memory, whereas the Cray-1 prefetches its operands into vector registers of length 64, prefetches its operands into vector registers of length 64, performs calculation from register to register, and then performs calculation from register to register, and then stores the contents of the result register back into memory. This difference in the architecture is solely responsible for the major difference in performance between the two machines. A consequence of the memory-to-memory architecture is that the Cyber 205 must perform all vector operations on contiguous memory locations (but is able to get very high memory bandwidths), whereas the Cray-1, having a separate functional unit to memory, can access memory locations with a constant nonunitary stride at the same speed as a stride of one. Timing Formulas These differences show up in the formulas used to estimate the timing of each machine. Formulas are given to estimate the timing of a dyadic operation on the Cyber 205 and Cray-1. (All timings are for 64-bit operations on a two-pipe Cyber 205). Operation: X(*)=Y(*)*Z(*). Cyber 205 (clock cycle of 205 is 20 nanoseconds): + (51 + N/2)*(20 nanoseconds) * (52 + N/2)*(20 nanoseconds) / (80 + N/0.28)*(20 nanoseconds) Cray-1 (clock cycle of Cray-1 is 12.5 nanoseconds): + (33*(INT(N/64) + 1) + 3N)*(12.5 nanoseconds) * (34*(INT(N/64) + 1) + 3N)*(12.5 nanoseconds) / (53*(INT(N/64) + 1) + 4N)*(12.5 nanoseconds) For a dyad where one operand is a scalar, the Cray-1 has improved timings of: + (10 + (26*(INT(N/64) + 1) + 2N)*(12.5 nanoseconds) * (10 + (27*(INT(N/64) + 1) + 2N)*(11.4 nanoseconds) / (10 + (44*(INT(N/64) + 1) + 4N)*(11.4 nanoseconds) (S/Z(*)) For a triad operation where the operations are different, such as: Operation: X(*)=Y(*)+Z(*)*T(*) Cyber 205: (103 + N)*(20.0 nanoseconds) Cray-1: (44*(INT(N/64) + 1) + 4N)*(12.5 nanoseconds) Both machines obtain an improvement if any of the three input operations is a scalar. Cyber 205: (103 + N/2) * (20 nanoseconds) Cray-1: (10+(37*(INT(N/64) + 1) + 3N))*(12.5 nanoseconds) The interesting point shown by this analysis is that the Cray-1 has an advantage for short vectors (because of shorter startup time), whereas the Cyber 205 has a high production rate and therefore outperforms the Cray for production rate and therefore outperforms the Cray for larger vectors. Strides greater than one, as in the following DO loop, are encountered often, and these present a problem for the Cyber 205. DO 10 I= 1, M.N X(I)=X(I)+S*Z(I) 10 CONTINUE The Cray-1 has no increase in execution time since its memory functional unit accesses memory at the same rate regardless of the magnitude of the stride. Abstract:
This study was qualitative content analysis that evaluated the quality of English for University Teaching (EUT), English for Specific Purposes (ESP), and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) textbooks through impressionistic and in-depth analysis. The participants were 9 EAP teachers and 15 EAP students from three universities in Surakarta, Indonesia. Instruments to collect data were checklist and interview guide. The checklist consisted of impressionistic analysis to see (1) cover, (2) content scope, (3) learning activities, (4) book organization, and (5) layout; and the in-depth analysis, namely (1) aim and approach, (2) organization design, language and content, (3) language skills, and (4) practical consideration. Data were collected using checklist and Focus Group Discussion. Data were analyzed through summative content analysis with seven stages: transforming data into narrative text, determining unit of analysis, developing categories, coding, coding the entire text, checking consistency of coding, and drawing conclusion. Results show EUT and ESP have low quality based on the impressionistic evaluation, and fair quality of their in-depth evaluation. Both books are register and grammar oriented. EAP textbook is good in general, and very good in depth. EAP presents its contents in terms of genre reading, academic speaking, academic reading, academic writing and grammar.

Abstract:
Background: PROSPERO is an international prospective register for systematic review protocols. Many of the registrations are the only available source of information about planned methods. This study investigated the extent to which records in PROSPERO contained the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Protocols (PRISMA-P). Methods: A random sample of 439 single entry PROSPERO records of reviews of health interventions registered in 2018 was identified. Using a piloted list of 19 PRISMA-P items, divided into 63 elements, two researchers independently assessed the registration records. Where the information was present or not applicable to the review, a score of 1 was assigned. Overall scores were calculated and comparisons made by stage of review at registration, whether or not a meta-analysis was planned and whether or not funding/sponsorship was reported. Results: Some key methodological details, such as eligibility criteria, were relatively frequently reported, but much of the information recommended in PRISMA-P was not stated in PROSPERO registrations. Considering the 19 items, the mean score was 4.8 (SD 1.8; median 4; range 2-11) and across all the assessed records only 25% (2081/8227) of the items were scored as reported. Considering the 63 elements, the mean score was 33.4 (SD 5.8; median 33; range 18-47) and overall, 53% (14,469/27,279) of the elements were assessed as reported. Reporting was more frequent for items required in PROSPERO than optional items. The planned comparisons showed no meaningful differences between groups. Conclusions: PROSPERO provides reviewers with the opportunity to be transparent in their planned methods and demonstrate efforts to reduce bias. However, where the PROSPERO record is the only available source of a priori reporting, there is a significant shortfall in the items reported, compared to those recommended. This presents challenges in interpretation for those wishing to assess the validity of the final review.

Abstract:
One of the contents within the Government Regulation Number 6 Year 2007 is regulating permissions on how communities can sustainably utilize forest land exclude in protection blocks, for instance agroforestry. Disturbance by wildlife as simpai (Presbytis melalophos) is occurred in an agroforestry land located in the Protection Forest Register 25 Pematang Tanggang, Kelumbayan Tanggamus. The underlying repercussions from the disturbance particularly because agroforestry systems that managed by cummunities contains food sources of simpai such as juvenile leaves and fruits. The aims of this study were to analyze the intensity of disturbance based on activity range, type of crop, time of simpai activities and analyze the mitigation effort. Field observation and interview with communities were used as the research method. The results showed that the highest disturbance of simpai based on the activity range is on agroforestry area where feed resources are quite abundant. The type of plants that disturbed was mostly consisting of banana and cocoa. In addition, the intensity of encounter time predominantly at 5:00 to 7:45 am. Simpai was rarely seen in the afternoon and could be found again at 04:00 to 05:30 pm. The lack of the community knowledge on the conservation status of the wildlife has caused the practices of environmentally-aggressive control of simpai such as by trapping and even shooting. A more environmentally-friendly mitigation effort was performed through the protection of crop, for example by covering fruits before harvesting. Key words: agroforestry, Presbytis melalophos, mitigation, simpai.

Feynman's model of a quantum computer provides an example of a continuous-time quantum walk. Its clocking mechanism is an excitation of a basically linear chain of spins with occasional controlled jumps which allow for motion on a planar graph. The spreading of the wave packet poses limitations on the probability of ever completing the s elementary steps of a computation: an additional amount of storage space δ is needed in order to achieve an assigned completion probability. In this note we study the END instruction, viewed as a measurement of the position of the clocking excitation: a π-pulse indefinitely freezes the contents of the input/output register, with a probability depending only on the ratio δ/s.

<p>The most Indonesian written manuscripts were written in the Netherlands language. These manuscripts could be accessed by one of the following catalogs: Juynboll Catalogue (1899), Ronkel Catalogues (1909), Riclefs and P. Voorhoeve Catalogue (1977) etc. Unfortunately, the Indonesian researchers have no way to utilize them. According to the international catalogs written in Indonesian and foreign languages, The Malay manuscripts found in Banda Aceh reached about 300 titles. After conducting preliminary research and direct observation to the individual and institutional collectors, it was found that the real numbers of them could reach to a thousand titles of manuscripts that still have separated in various local places. On behalf these facts, the research aims to rescue these manuscripts from a disappearing and extinction by conducting inventory that is predicted to be able to push the Indonesian researchers ahead to discovering their substantial contents that in opinion useful for human life. The output of the research is compiling catalog documents of 1000 titles of Malay manuscripts found in Banda Aceh.<br />The theory and method used in this research are the theory of the codicology and the method of the catalog of manuscripts register. The codicology is subfield studying all of the manuscript’s aspects in details such as the place of storing, the owner of the manuscript, the content of the manuscript, etc. Whereas the catalog of a manuscript register is describing all of systematically manuscript’s physical and objective aspect in details. The results of the research will be proposed to be the main gate for entering later philology works i.e. presenting and interpreting the text that in turn can be positioned as a manual directive in social and national life.</p>

Abstract:
PURPOSE: The objective of this study was to perform a systematic review and meta-analysis of the effects of statins on mortality for patients with non-severe pneumonia or severe pneumonia. METHODS: PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, Cochrane central register of controlled trials and Clinicaltrials.gov were searched for the association between statins and non-severe/severe pneumonia. Eligible articles were analyzed in Stata 12.0. RESULTS: The database search yielded a total of 566 potential publications, 24 studies involving 312,309 patients met the eligibility criteria. Pooled unadjusted data showed that statin use was associated with lower mortality after non-severe pneumonia (odds ratio [OR] 0.70, 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.66-0.73), but not severe pneumonia (OR 1.05; 95% CI, 0.86-1.28). However, this protective effect of statins was weakened using adjusted estimates (OR 0.78, 95% CI, 0.75-0.82). Besides, protective effect of statins was attenuated by confounders in a subgroup analysis, especially when accounting for pneumonia severity indicators (OR 0.88; 95% CI, 0.80-0.96). CONCLUSIONS: Statin use was associated with reduced mortality after non-severe pneumonia but not severe pneumonia and this protective effect was weakened in subgroups. Abstract:
In this paper I present a work in progress concerning the mimesis of Italian speech, which is possible to study not only into the two traditional forms of language — written and spoken — but also in broadcast language of tv series. In order to find examples of mimesis of spoken language which are as close as possible to the contemporary linguistic reality, I have excluded all specialised TV programmes which cater for specific contents and sectorial registers and I concentrate on television stories of TV fiction. Tv fiction can be divided up into various narrative formulae and, depending on the subject matter, in different macrocategories. I have focused my study on a particular kind of fiction based on realistic serial format: family fiction, which narrates the daily life of a family or group of families whose stories become entwined in a succession of petty or major events where the language must necessarily draw on colloquial Italian. The corpus analysed in this first phase of the research project was taken from two series: La famiglia Benvenuti (1968) and Un medico in famiglia (1998). I have selected a shortlist of phenomena which best match up to the characteristics of spontaneous speech, grouped in four areas of analysis: 1: Register and lexical–grammatical phenomena; 2: Linguistic commonplaces; 3: The polyvalent ‘che’; 4: Mechanisms of segmentation and focalisation.

Abstract:
In this paper, we propose a novel selective image encryption scheme using a one-way coupled map lattice (CML) consisting of logistic maps and a selector constructed by two variants of a cyclic shift register (VCSR). The initial conditions and the coupling constant of CML in our scheme are influenced by all the contents of the plain image. Moreover, the selector is closely related to the nonencrypted part of the plain image. In addition, we select only a portion of image data to encrypt via a wheel-switch scheme governed by the selector. Users can select an appropriate proportion to encrypt the plain image for their different demands of security and efficiency. Experimental results and theoretical analysis show that the cryptosystem is effective and can resist various typical attacks.

Abstract:
Physicians developed their sublanguage (a system to represent medical concepts and their relations) to store and transmit general medical knowledge and patient-related information. Adequate formalisms are needed to obtain a standard representation of semantics of medical expressions for computer use. Comparison of the semantic contents of two expressions is possible only if a unique canonical form is defined; the transmission of medical facts or patient-related information is really meaningful only by defining a set of primitives (semantic categories and links) and the domains of values (concepts). These primitives must be harmonized to yield a “common core subset” of semantic categories and links. This subset provides a common basis; a procedure to register extension sets of primitives must also be defined, to comply with specific representation needs of specialties and classes of application software.

A VLSI implementation of a dedicated digital signal processor is presented. The processor is tailored for efficient implementation of transform domain adaptive filters. It incorporates a butterfly processor which performs butterfly operation to implement the required transformation. It is also able to perform complex addition, subtraction and multiplication. The butterfly processor makes use of a redundant binary tree multiplier with a recently proposed coding of signed-digit numbers which reduces the number of levels in the tree by one. An on-chip read only memory holds the transformation coefficients. The contents of the ROM determine the type of transform. The processor incorporates an ALU to perform integer arithmetic, address calculations and implementation of circular memory scheme. For fastest accessibility, the essential variables of the algorithm are implemented in a register fire.

Abstract:
Given the potential of health internet-registers, this study examined how such registers can be made more effective and efficient. This involved investigating the actual barriers to usage experienced by those for whom such registers are established to help. To elicit responses regarding the opinions, views, and experiences of participants, concerning their various reasons for non-progression or non-completion of the pilot UK MS Register, a list of ten potential key areas of difficulty, in the form of short statements, was e-mailed to participants. A content analysis revealed that there were four main areas of concern that could represent potential barriers for health internet-registers, in general, and that need to be considered when establishing, designing, and developing such registers: technical aspects of using the internet; computer literacy and ability, encompassing website design, clarity, and user-friendliness; symptom mismatches with register content; and condition-specific effects and impacts as barriers to internet-register use.

Abstract Purpose This is an official guideline, published and coordinated by the Gynecological Oncology Working Group (AGO) of the German Cancer Society (DKG) and the German Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics (DGGG). Vaginal cancers are rare tumors, which is why there is very little evidence on these tumors. Knowledge about the optimal clinical management is limited. This first German S2k guideline on vaginal cancer has aimed to compile the most current expert knowledge and offer new recommendations on the appropriate treatment as well as providing pointers about individually adapted therapies with lower morbidity rates than were previously generally available. The purpose of this guideline is also to set up a register to record data on treatment data and the course of disease as a means of obtaining evidence in future. Methods The present S2k guideline was developed by members of the Vulvar und Vaginal Tumors Commission of the AGO in an independently moderated, structured, formal consensus process and the contents were agreed with the mandate holders of the participating scientific societies and organizations. Recommendations To optimize the daily care of patients with vaginal cancer: 1. Monitor the spread pattern; 2. Follow the step-by-step diagnostic workup based on initial stage at detection; 3. As part of individualized clinical therapeutic management of vaginal cancer, follow the sentinel lymph node protocol described here, where possible; 4. Participate in the register study on vaginal cancer.

Abstract:
Objectives: One purpose of electronic reminders is improvement of the quality of documentation in office-hours primary care. The aim of this study was to evaluate how implementation of electronic reminders alters the rate and/or content of diagnostic data recorded by primary care physicians in office-hours practices in primary care health centers. Methods: The present work is a register-based longitudinal follow-up study with a before-and-after design. An electronic reminder was installed in the electronic health record system of the primary health care of a Finnish city to remind physicians to include the diagnosis code of the visit in the health record. The report generator of the electronic health record system provided monthly figures for the number of various recorded diagnoses by using the International Classification of Diseases, 10th edition, and the total number of visits to primary care physicians, thus allowing the calculation of the recording rate of diagnoses on a monthly basis. The distribution of diagnoses before and after implementing ERs was also compared. Results: After the introduction of the electronic reminder, the rate of diagnosis recording by primary care physicians increased clearly from 39.7% to 87.2% (p < 0.001). The intervention enhanced the recording rate of symptomatic diagnoses (group R) and some chronic diseases such as hypertension, type 2 diabetes and other soft tissue disorders. Recording rate of diagnoses related to diseases of the respiratory system (group J), injuries, poisoning and certain other consequences of external causes (group S), and diseases of single body region of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue (group M) decreased after the implementation of electronic reminders. Conclusion: Electronic reminders may alter the contents and extent of recorded diagnosis data in office-hours practices of the primary care health centers. They were found to have an influence on the recording rates of diagnoses related to chronic diseases. Electronic reminders may be a useful tool in primary health care when attempting to change the behavior of primary care physicians.

Abstract:
Nondestructive plant growth measurement is essential for researching plant growth and health. A nondestructive measurement system to retrieve plant information includes the measurement of morphological and physiological information, but most systems use two independent measurement systems for the two types of characteristics. In this study, a highly integrated, multispectral, three-dimensional (3D) nondestructive measurement system for greenhouse tomato plants was designed. The system used a Kinect sensor, an SOC710 hyperspectral imager, an electric rotary table, and other components. A heterogeneous sensing image registration technique based on the Fourier transform was proposed, which was used to register the SOC710 multispectral reflectance in the Kinect depth image coordinate system. Furthermore, a 3D multiview RGB-D image-reconstruction method based on the pose estimation and self-calibration of the Kinect sensor was developed to reconstruct a multispectral 3D point cloud model of the tomato plant. An experiment was conducted to measure plant canopy chlorophyll and the relative chlorophyll content was measured by the soil and plant analyzer development (SPAD) measurement model based on a 3D multispectral point cloud model and a single-view point cloud model and its performance was compared and analyzed. The results revealed that the measurement model established by using the characteristic variables from the multiview point cloud model was superior to the one established using the variables from the single-view point cloud model. Therefore, the multispectral 3D reconstruction approach is able to reconstruct the plant multispectral 3D point cloud model, which optimizes the traditional two-dimensional image-based SPAD measurement method and can obtain a precise and efficient high-throughput measurement of plant chlorophyll.

Abstract:
IntroductionThe construct of recovery was conceptualised in high-income countries and its applicability in low-income and middle- income countries is underexplored. A scoping review is proposed to synthesise knowledge, review conceptual overlap and map key elements of recovery from severe mental illness in low-income and middle-income countries. We aim to appraise the literature so as to inform future recovery-oriented services that consider the cultural and contextual influences on recovery from severe mental illness. Methods and analysisThe following electronic databases: MEDLINE via PubMed, SCOPUS (which included contents of Embase), PsycINFO, CINAHL, Africa-Wide Information, PsycARTICLES, Health source: Nursing/Academic Edition, Academic Search Premier and SocINDEX all via the EBSCOHOST platform, the Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature, the Cochrane Centre Register of Controlled Trials) and grey literature sources will be searched between May and December 2019. Eligible studies will be independently screened for inclusion and exclusion by two reviewers using a checklist developed for this purpose. Studies published between January 1993 and November 2019 that focus on recovery from severe mental illness in a low-income and middle-income country will be included. Findings will be compared and discrepancies will be discussed. Unresolved discrepancies will be referred to a third reviewer. All bibliographic data and study characteristics will be extracted and thematically analysed using a tool developed through an iterative process by the research team. Indicators will be classified according to a predefined conceptual framework and categorised and described using qualitative content analysis.Ethics and disseminationThe review aims to synthesise information from available publications, hence it does not require ethical approval. The results will be disseminated through publications, conference presentations and future workshops with stakeholders involved within the recovery paradigm of mental health policy and practice. The scoping review title is registered with the Joanna Briggs Institute.

Abstract:
English as a global language has been used widely in various communication modes. The communication in the automotive industry is highly characterized as technical therefore, it possesses certain features that may be exclusive to its communication type. Since today’s time veers on amalgamating World Englishes, this discourse analysis study investigates the stylistic features of Philippine English and Singaporean English.Three pairs of automotive review articles written by Filipino and Singaporean writers were subjected to compare and contrast the stylistic features of these two English varieties. The findings reveal that Philippine English and Singaporean English used in automotive communication are similar in terms of register, grammatical feature, and writer’s style. On the other hand, the two varieties differ in terms of article contents and conventions. The study has implications in the creation of curriculum in automotive engineering that emphasizes both technology teaching and language teaching.

The author presents in a synthetic form the development of institutions of procedural joint participation, starting from the Roman civil process, with particular reference to the regulations contained in the code of civil procedure of 1930 and 1964. He focuses on the contemporary model of joint participation, discussing its types and manifestations. He proves that in addition to the types of participation regulated in the Code of Civil Procedure, there is also a place in the Polish civil proceedings for its other manifestations, including joint special unnamed joint participation, resulting from the „nature of things” or from the essence of a procedural claim submitted for judgment. He points out that a special case of special procedural joint participation appears in the case for reconciliation of the contents of the land and mortgage register with the actual legal status.

Abstract:
Abstract With notable exceptions, few studies of teaching and learning of scholarly registers and genres to users of English as an additional language focus on curriculum. For a contextualized understanding of register-curriculum relations, this study investigates disciplinary registers in the Academic English Program at Vantage College, a new alternative-entry, first-year program at the University of British Columbia, Canada. In integrating content and language instruction, the curriculum adopts systemic functional linguistics as the informing theory of language. Program registers and their relations are investigated using Matthiessen’s (2015) context-based register typology. This novel case study highlights register-curriculum relations in key aspects, including discipline-specific variation in register instruction, planned learning trajectories, faculty collaborations, and relations between English for general and specific academic purposes.

Abstract:
Abstract In this paper our focus is on analyzing register variation within fiction, rather than between fiction and other registers. By working with subcorpora that separate text within and outside of quotation marks, we appromixate fictional speech and narration. This enables us to identify and compare linguistic features with regard to different situational contexts in the fictional world. We focus in particular on the novels of Charles Dickens and a reference corpus of other 19th-century fiction. Our main method for the register analysis is Multi-dimensional Analysis (MDA) for which we draw on altogether four dimensions from two previous MDAs. The linguistic distinctions we identify highlight similarities between fictional speech and involved registers such as face-to-face communication, and between narration and more informational and narrative prose. In addition to the detailed information on register features that characterize speech and narration, the paper raises more general questions about the ability of register studies to deal with situational contexts within fiction.

Abstract:
Background: Registers are increasingly used to monitor stroke care performance. Fair benchmarking requires sufficient data quality. We have validated acute care data in Riksstroke, the Swedish Stroke Register. Methods: Completeness was assessed by comparisons with diagnoses at hospital discharge recorded in the compulsory National Patient Register and content validity by comparisons with (a) key variables identified by European stroke experts, and (b) items recorded in other European stroke care performance registers. Five test cases recorded by 67 hospitals were used to estimate inter-hospital reliability. Results: All 72 Swedish hospitals admitting acute stroke patients participated in Riksstroke. The register was estimated to cover at least 90% of acute stroke patients. It includes 18 of 22 quality indicators identified by international stroke experts and 14 of 15 indicators used by at least 2 stroke performance registers in other European countries. Inter-hospital reliability was high (≥85%) in 77 of 81 Riksstroke items. Conclusions: A nationwide stroke care register can be maintained with sufficient data quality to permit between-hospital performance benchmarking. Our experiences may serve as a model for other stroke registers while evaluating data quality.

"How to Build a Patient-Specific Hybrid Simulator for Orthopaedic Open Surgery: Benefits and Limits of Mixed-Reality Using the Microsoft HoloLens." Journal of Healthcare Engineering 2018 (November 1, 2018): 1–12. http://dx.doi.org/10.1155/2018/5435097.

Abstract:
Orthopaedic simulators are popular in innovative surgical training programs, where trainees gain procedural experience in a safe and controlled environment. Recent studies suggest that an ideal simulator should combine haptic, visual, and audio technology to create an immersive training environment. This article explores the potentialities of mixed-reality using the HoloLens to develop a hybrid training system for orthopaedic open surgery. Hip arthroplasty, one of the most common orthopaedic procedures, was chosen as a benchmark to evaluate the proposed system. Patient-specific anatomical 3D models were extracted from a patient computed tomography to implement the virtual content and to fabricate the physical components of the simulator. Rapid prototyping was used to create synthetic bones. The Vuforia SDK was utilized to register virtual and physical contents. The Unity3D game engine was employed to develop the software allowing interactions with the virtual content using head movements, gestures, and voice commands. Quantitative tests were performed to estimate the accuracy of the system by evaluating the perceived position of augmented reality targets. Mean and maximum errors matched the requirements of the target application. Qualitative tests were carried out to evaluate workload and usability of the HoloLens for our orthopaedic simulator, considering visual and audio perception and interaction and ergonomics issues. The perceived overall workload was low, and the self-assessed performance was considered satisfactory. Visual and audio perception and gesture and voice interactions obtained a positive feedback. Postural discomfort and visual fatigue obtained a nonnegative evaluation for a simulation session of 40 minutes. These results encourage using mixed-reality to implement a hybrid simulator for orthopaedic open surgery. An optimal design of the simulation tasks and equipment setup is required to minimize the user discomfort. Future works will include Face Validity, Content Validity, and Construct Validity to complete the assessment of the hip arthroplasty simulator.
