Abstract:
We prove a version of the isoperimetric inequality for mappings with remainder term. Let S = (32π)1/3 and Q(u) = ∫R2 u · ux1 ∧ ux2dx for a mapping u : R2 → R3 in a function space [Formula: see text] defined below. Let [Formula: see text] be a set of functions in [Formula: see text] for which we have equality in the classical isoperimetric inequality S|Q(u)|2/3 ≤ ∫R2 |∇u|2dx. We show that for some positive constant C > 0, [Formula: see text] holds for any [Formula: see text]. Here, [Formula: see text] denotes the distance of u from [Formula: see text] in [Formula: see text].

The circuit, given as an and-inverter graph, is encoded using polynomials that automatically generate a Gröbner basis with respect to a lexicographic term ordering. Correctness of the circuit is derived by computing the polynomial remainder of the specification. However, the main obstacle is the monomial blow-up during the reduction, as the degree can increase. This paper uses a transaction-costs framework to link the policymaking process (PMP) and the outer features of public policies in Mexico. It shows how a highly secretive PMP, centralized around the presidency, fashioned nationalist policies that were stable, adaptable, coordinated and private-regarding for the urban-based corporatist pillars of the regime. The paper explains how unified government and corporatist control of the

The effect of stage number of multistage AC gliding arc discharge reactors on the process performance ofthe combined reforming and partial oxidation of simulated CO₂-containing natural gas having a CH₄:C₂H₆:C₃H₈:C0₂ molar ratio of 70:5:5:20 was investigated. For the experiments with partial oxidation, either pure oxygen or air was used as the oxygen source with a fixed hydrocarbon-to-oxygen molar ratio of 211. Without partial oxidation at a constant feed flow rate, all conversions of hydrocarbons, except CO₂, greatly increased with increasing number of stages from 1 to 3; but · beyond 3 stages

Abstract:
Channel Islands National Park includes the five northern islands off the coast of southern California (San Miguel, Santa Rosa, Santa Cruz, Anacapa, and Santa Barbara Islands) and the surrounding waters out one nautical mile. There are approximately 176 miles of coastline around the islands, about 80% of which is composed of rock. The diversity and undisturbed nature of the tidepools of this rocky coastline were recognized as special features of the islands in the enabling legislation. To conserve these communities unimpaired for future generations, the National Park Service has been monitoring
