Abstract:
Remotely controlled microscopic slide was designed using especial Graphical User Interface (GUI) which interfaces the user at remote location with the real microscope using site and the user can easily view and control the slide present on the microscope’s stage. Precise motors have been used to allow the movement in all the three dimensions required by a pathologist. The pathologist can easily access these slides from any remote location and so the physical presence of the pathologist is now made easy. This invention would increase the health care efficiency by reducing the time and cost of diagnosis, making it very easy to get the expert’s opinion and supporting the pathologist to relocate himself for his work. The microscope is controlled with computer with an attractive Graphical User Interface (GUI), through which a pathologist can easily monitor, control and record the image of a slide. The pathologist can now do his work regardless of his location, time, cost and physically presence of lab equipment. The technology will help the specialist inviewing the patients slide from any location in the world. He would be able to monitor and control the stage. This will also help the pathological laboratories in getting opinion from senior pathologist who are present at any far location in the world. This system also reduces the life risks of the patients.

Abstract:
A study was conducted to assess the capabilities and limitations of the DataGlove, a lightweight glove input device that can output signals in real time based on hand shape, orientation, and movement. The DataGlove was used as an input device to control the Proto-Flight Manipulator Arm (PFMA), a large telerobotic arm with an 8-foot reach. Twelve volunteers (six males and six females) participated in a 2×3(×2) full-factorial experiment in a simple retraction, slewing, and insertion task. Two within-subjects variables, time delay (0,1, and 2 seconds) and PFMA wrist flexibility (rigid/flexible) were manipulated. Gender served as a blocking variable. Retraction, insertion, and slew times, as well as total task time were collected as the dependent variables. An analysis of variance found a main effect of time delay for slewing and total task times. A post hoc Newman-Keuls pairwise comparison of the means was performed for the significant effects. Slew times with no time delay were significantly faster than slew times with either 1- or 2-second time delays. Total task time with no time delay was significantly faster than total task time with a 2-second time delay. PFMA wrist flexibility had no significant main effect on the ability of the subject to accurately and effectively operate the PFMA with the DataGlove. It was concluded that the DataGlove is a legitimate teleoperations input device that provides a natural, intuitive user interface and should be considered in future trades in teleoperation systems' designs.

Abstract:
Abstract- The communication system at USV is the most important part of ensuring that the USV control system runs well. Communication systems that are commonly used at USV are generally still local networks. The development of a wider range of communications is needed to improve USV scalability so that the benefits can be increased to support the concept of remote laboratory and remote surveillance. USV is generally controlled using a wireless network with a limited work area using WIFI or using another electromagnetic waves transmission. This research proposes the development control and monitoring systems of USV to be controlled over the Internet by using the message queuing telemetry transport(MQTT) Protocol. This idea makes the USV can be controlled remotely, no longer have to operate it in the field. The control speed response of rudder and motor are analyzed. Performance monitoring of the compass sensor, GPS, and cameras also showed good results. As a result, the average delay time generated is 1.6 second.

Abstract:
Many Traffic Management Centers (TMCs) rely heavily on remote cameras for detecting and verifying incidents, and for maintaining surveillance of the roadway system. A TMC operator may have access to dozens, or even hundreds, of remote cameras. In the present experiment we compared four interfaces ( joystick, keyboard, mouse, and touchscreen) for selecting and controlling remote cameras. Preset cameras (i.e., views were restricted to a predefined set of pan, tilt, and zoom coordinates) were also compared to manual cameras (i.e., no presets). The touchscreen interface was found to be more prone to produce errors in selecting cameras. Preset cameras were found to be superior to manual cameras in most aspects. The good performance of subjects using the keyboard interface is especially noteworthy. Implications for TMC design are discussed.

Abstract:
In real life, deep well trapping accidents of people frequently occur, but no appropriate and effective rescue equipment is available. After site investigation and analysis, we hereby design a sort of remote control deep well rescue machine, in which the components are free to remove, the length can be freely adjusted according to the depth of wells. The bottom of the device is provided with mechanical hands and chassis with airbags. By controlling the robot with remote control technology, the device solves the problem that the rescue workers can not perform direct rescue on the victims due to the small width of the well mouth. A camera is installed at the lower part of the device, which enables the rescuers to accurately observe the underground situation, thereby solving the problem of being unable to accurately locate the trapped people with human eyes due to the smallness of the well mouth and insufficient light.

Abstract:
The analysis of modern tendencies related to “Smart House” technologies is carried out in this article. The questions of programming languages of microcontrollers and microprocessors are considered. Software products that are used to create mobile applications for smartphones or tablets are presented. A computer system for remote control of room lighting is considered. The design and principle of its operation are shown schematically. A prototype of a computer system that has the following functions: 1) Control, on / off, lighting systems, depending on the needs of the owner of the premises. 2) Transfer of information about the level of illumination to the user, the owner of the premises. 3) Automatic switching on / off of electric, electroluminescent light sources, which are included in the room lighting control system. Photo of the prototype is shown. The principle of operation of the system control program based on the use of a photoresistor is presented. The Arduino microcontroller receives and processes information from the photoresistor, on the basis of which it automatically sends signals to the room lighting control system. The formulas for calculating the illumination using the results of the data obtained from the photoresistor of the prototype are given. The processed information, using wireless networks, goes to the interactive devices of the user, who can remotely check the value of illumination and, if necessary, control it. The visual interface of a mobile application for mobile phones and tablets using the Android operating system is presented. A computer system for controlling the lighting of premises, which is easy to use and does not require significant financial costs, is considered and analyzed. The methods of modeling, observation and research of computer systems are used in the work. The obtained results allow obtaining an effective computer system for remote control of indoor lighting.

Abstract:
A management of computer classroom is undoubtedly a difficult task for the administrator which has to prepare virtual operating systems for education. It is quite common that lectors need to edit the particular machine during the semester, and that is the case where the main problems can appear. The process of changes deployment is not just very time-consuming but during it a virtual machine inconsistency can appear. The main part of this paper focuses on system process diagrams and its pseudocode. At first, the machine is created on the remote server by lector or administrator. After a proper approval, the machine is able to be deployed. The lector then specifies the details about date, time and destinations of the virtual machine deployment. Once these details are approved, the virtual machine will be automatically deployed at the specified time. The automatic deployment includes also an initial configuration of the virtual machine at remote desktop and its post-install configuration (hostname, MAC address, etc.). Once all steps are completed, the process will be marked as succeed. We present an automatized solution which provides a possibility how to easily manage computer classroom with virtual operating systems. The proposed solution should deliver a greater flexibility, more reliability and faster deployment in comparison with the current solution used in our computer classroom. The proposal is also able to manipulate with already deployed machines for easy changes (e.g. software updates). The main advantage is the improvement of classroom management process automation.

Abstract:
Aim. Modular mini-robots can be used in novel minimally invasive surgery techniques like natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) and laparoendoscopic single site (LESS) surgery. The control of these miniature assistants is complicated. The aim of this study is the in silico investigation of a remote controlling interface for modular miniature robots which can be used in minimally invasive surgery.Methods. The conceptual controlling system was developed, programmed, and simulated using professional robotics simulation software. Three different modes of control were programmed. The remote controlling surgical interface was virtually designed as a high scale representation of the respective modular mini-robot, therefore a modular controlling system itself.Results. With the proposed modular controlling system the user could easily identify the conformation of the modular mini-robot and adequately modify it as needed. The arrangement of each module was always known. The in silico investigation gave useful information regarding the controlling mode, the adequate speed of rearrangements, and the number of modules needed for efficient working tasks.Conclusions. The proposed conceptual model may promote the research and development of more sophisticated modular controlling systems. Modular surgical interfaces may improve the handling and the dexterity of modular miniature robots during minimally invasive procedures.

Abstract:
The shift towards remote access and control of equipment has become more prominent, especially due to COVID-19 lockdowns. Access to physical/real equipment for practical learning remains important for engineering studies. Thus, this paper presents an approach for remotely accessing and controlling automation equipment for engineering practical activities. Specifically, it addresses the issue of accessing and controlling machines for programmable logic controller (PLC) programming tasks. The combination of a scheduler, remote desktop access, graphical user interface, and a micro-controller allows students to work remotely on practical equipment. The lab computer can be accessed via a remote computer to select one of multiple equipment for practical activities. A prototype system was constructed as proof of concept. The prototype system functions as required.

Abstract:
Most civil engineering structures have long service life and situate in severe environment. So it is the key to carry out testing task continuously according to scheduled demands for the long-term monitoring based on FBG sensing. But the existing instruments cannot satisfy the long-term and remote testing demands. Based on virtual instrument and remote panel technique, the automatic testing and controlling system for FBG sensor array were developed. Modularization programming method was adopted and the control program can be adjusted according to practical demands freely. The testing system can save and figure the results automatically, and it can also discern and process the error signal. These extend and perfect the function of traditional FBG demodulation instrument, and make the testing system more flexible and reliable. It greatly reduces the difficulties in remote and long-term testing task.
