Full textWe present the hypothesis that the representative democratic model, when applied to groups and organizations, can meet the psychic role of intermediary between the desire of members to avoid the establishment of a tyrannical relationship with the leader and, at the same time, avoid conflicts of coexistence. To address this issue, we used the method of life history interview, and as a research subject, a union trade representative that for 20 straight years, worked in a union linked to the federal courts of the state of São Paulo. This research aimed to reflect on the place of the representative in the group, as opposed to the place of leader. From the data obtained, it was possible to hypothesize that while the leader is invested in his narcissistic and omnipotent ego, the representative identifies his Ideal Ego with the ideals of the group, may postpone the fulfillment of his ideals in exchange for being recognized by the group. Thus, the leader receives a narcissistic transference from the group; he may want to regain the place of the Father of the horde, through violence or seduction, demanding for himself an almost total share of power. The representative , on the other hand, assumes a place of taboo , receiving a transfer of power to perform typical functions of an intermediary role , but in this case , the group has the power to depose him from his paper and slay him (even symbolically) . In our case, we observed the respondent exercising this role, from positions that were repeated throughout his life. He occupied, in our point of view, the role of intermediary between the pressures of democratic moment that the country experienced in 1988/1989 and the autocratic ideals of the Left parties, which represented here the group that seeks a tyrannical link with the category. The respondent found himself entangled in a web of bonds and the repetition of rituals that ended in a crisis that led to his departure from the group. This rupture led him to a position of ostracism and caused him intense suffering, which led to a depression

Full textThe main objective of this work was the creation of a different group device and the conduction of interviews in which were used photographs and narratives aroused by them as intermediary formations that occur in a time/space between two. The conclusions suggest the coexistence in the subjects of a ambiguous relation between an ideal imaginary of stable and reassured relations, as in their childhood, and what is lived today by them, under the impact of the brutal changes that occurred in the last decades: insecurity and fragmentation in the social bonds and uncertainty in relation to the future. Some Walter Benjamin\'s intuitions are confirmed and René Kaës\' contributions are stressed in the group process studies. With the contribution from these authors, it is emphasized here the necessity of reinvent methodologies and different devices when dealing with intersubjective questions, in order to answer the social demands towards the suffering and the disruptive situations. It is always between the continuous risk of the references loss and the possibility of new reassured spaces constitution, that gets processed the human narrative intense construction, particularly in the contemporaneity.

Full textThis thesis discusses some issues of the university education and the work of psychologists in public institutions by proposing a perspective of analyses which emphasizes the dimension of intersubjective relations (the group) as central in order to comprehend the institutional field. Its theoretical basis is the Social Psychology (Pichon-Rivière), the Transitional Analyses (René Kaës) and Blegers contributions. It is also supported from the contributions of the Institutional Analyses of the Discourse (Guirado), to propose a methodological frame which considers the concept of bond as a unity of analyses of institutional phenomena as well as in the constitution of the psychic subject, in the various dimensions of its determination such as: intrapsychic, intersubjective (conscious and unconscious) and transubjective; and also of the psychic grupal and institutional processes which are expressed by the meshes, moorings, pacts, stiffening, disruptions etc. It has been worked with the concept of subject of the unconcious as being subject of group for to think its relationships in the institutional field for the accomplishment of its institutional task. The field of investigation is composed by reports elaborated by students of degree at IPUSP for the discipline Processes Group (visiting a public institution). The main results of the analyses show the great importance of promoting a university education centralized in the group and the collective scope in order to organize a training of the psychologist as a researcher of institutional field (as worker or consultant). For so, it is required the work of promoting the links among university education and work institutions towards the creation of exchanges possibilities in which the university education could take place in both spaces. The work of psychologist researcher in the institutions, driven by the Institutional Analysis of the Bound and inextricably develloped by the group as a device, is developed when it assumes the function of the intermediary in the institutional relationships and generates transitional spaces that contribute to the grupal psychic work of surpassing barriers, in the process of change and transformation and the accomplishment of institution social task

Full textIn the 21st century it is up to us, educators who carry out research, to think about new forms of investments to improve the educational system. In that sense, many contributions of different areas can be reported. However, my proposal in this research is to focus on what is, in my opinion, the essence of humanity: relationships. We have known for a long time of the importance of inter-personal relationships in the formation of the subject. Our question, however, is whether in the daily life of educational institutions there is an effective investment in looking inwards and outwards. The school as a public space, where the concept of group prevails, deals day by day with group links. The same thing occurs in many other educational establishments that have social, artistic and sports activities to thousands of children and teenagers in our country. How many educators have had the opportunity to establish a closer dialogue with psychology and psychoanalysis in their education? What kind of knowledge they were able to form about group functioning and about the possibilities of managing the conflicts and barriers that emerge in a group? Regarding the ideas of three authors of the psychoanalysis school - S. Freud, D. W. Winnicott and R. Kaës - I report and analyze two experiences lived by small groups of two big schools. In The Curtain of Musical Beads I share the experience I have had with my students as a teacher in the Vera Cruz School in kindergarten (first year of the EFI). In the Reopening of the Library I share the experience lived with a group of teenagers, parents and employees of the Salvador Moya State School in my post as coordinator of the project Embrace your Neighborhood. What managing elements can make easier or harder the emergence of collective creativity that results of the interaction of several subjectivities? Thought - whether theoretical, practical and based on sensibility - is a fundamental tool for the sounds and noises of a group to become music; for the tone of each musical instrument (individual) can emerge without concealing the others; for the musicians of this orchestra (group) to be enabled to play together with either more harmonic or with new tonal melodies? What are the movements the educator should follow regarding the students and the group? How the collective links are established? What are the roles and the tasks of each one in the group? Is there a horizontal or hierarchy based relationship among them? What is the connective function that the group may exert? Is there a feeling of belonging to the group? What is the possibility of the educator forming a clinical regard and a sensible-reflexive hearing about the group so that the group itself can be recognized as the subject of the creativity?

Full textThe main purpose of this thesis was to take part of girl’s descriptions and experiences of their treatment for deliberate self-harm and to investigate whether they still experience effects of the treatment today. Our main research questions where; how do the girls describe their experiences of the treatment method, do the girls describe that they still experience any effects of the treatment, and finally how do the girls look back on their treatment today? In order to answer these questions, we carried out eight qualitative telephone interviews with girls that had undergone treatment in a specific treatment centre. We chose to analyze the material from the salutogenic theory and the concepts of SOC (sense of coherence) and with a hermeneutic approach. Our result showed that the treatment methods that where most important where dialectic behaviour therapy, horse therapy and finally environmental therapy. Several of the girls could see remaining effects of the treatment today, while other girls could not see any of these effects. A couple of the girls expressed that they should have been dead if they had not been taken care of by the treatment centre while other girls meant that the treatment did not make any difference.
