In the archives of the Library of the University in Belgrade it is possible to find evidence that as early as 1844. the events in Mexico were written about in the old Serbian language, and that there was an interest in this country. Strong friendship and understanding between the two nations were formalized by the Protocol on the Establishment of Diplomatic relations on 24 May 1946, when the President of Mexico, Manuel Avila Camacho and the President of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Marshal Josip Broz Tito, made this cooperation official. The territory of Kosovo and Metohija has been in a privileged economic position compared to the rest of Serbia since the formation of territorial autonomy after the Second World War. The amount of money at the disposal of the regional authorities significantly exceeded the amount of money at the disposal of the authorities in other parts of Serbia, especially in the area of «Central Serbia» outside Belgrade. This situation was made possible by financial subsidies to the regional budget, which from 1946 to 1953 amounted to 3,288,178,920 dinars. Out of a total of 6,525,114,070, which was the bud

We investigated the relationship between emotions of fear and anger and people’s motivation for intergroup aggression within the context of Serbian—Albanian relations in Serbia (Study 1) and Serbian—Bosniak intergroup relations in Bosnia (Study 2). Serbian students in Belgrade and Banja Luka completed a survey that assessed their attitudes towards Albanians or Bosniaks. We found that fear of the outgroup was related to increased motivation for aggression in the context of the ongoing conflict in Serbia, whereas fear was negatively related to aggression in Bosnia, where the conflict had been re

Hungary and Serbia’s relations with other countries are based on the “partnership of necessity” concept. Initially, these countries drew closer together in search of ways to resolve the common problem of illegal migration, but gradually they deepened their cooperation. Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine gave a new impetus to the intensification of relations between Hungary and Serbia as both states were unwilling to fully share the EU’s sanctions policy towards Russia. Serbia tried to maneuver while Hungary struggled to get exemptions for itself from EU sanctions regulations. Also,

The impact of climate change on forest ecosystems is becoming increasingly apparent. Research indicates that rising air temperatures affect the state of biodiversity, a range of ecological processes, as well as the dynamics of developmental characteristics of individual trees (Ratknić T. et al., 2019a; Dimitrijević T. et al., 2022; Dimitrijević T. et al., 2023).
