Fast neutron irradiation tests were performed to determine the correlation of change of drain-source resistance and neutron fluence for power MOSFETs. The Objectives of the tests were: (1) to detect and measure the degradation of critical MOSFET device parameters as a function of neutron fluence (2) to compare the experimental results and the theoretical model. In general, the drain-source resistance increased from 1 Ohm to 100 Ohm after exposure to fast neutron fluence of 3 x 1014 neut/cm2, and decreased by a factor of five after high temperature annealing.

The resistivity of soil ranges from 7-15 Ωm for Leachate #1 to 20-50 Ωm for Leachate #2. The resistivity decreases with an increase in the proximity to the leak point. Furthermore, the resistivity values obtained with water were nearly 10 times the values observed with landfill leachate as the leaching liquid. Based on the resistivity profiles of soil as observed at different time intervals, the method is found to be effective in determining leakages in the liner. The pole-dipole (PD) electrical resistivity array is used as part of a geophysical technique, which can be used in exploration for mineral, geothermal and hydrological resources. Furthermore, it can be used in archaeological investigations. The resistivity of two high quality YBa₂Cu₃O₆.₃₃₃ single crystals was measured, the first via the Montgomery method, which allows the determination of all three components of the resistivity tensor, and the second via a colinear arrangement of contacts that allows the determination of pa.
