Abstract:
Abstract Couple relations are characterized as relations of an intimate nature dominated by constant interaction or strong interdependence and mutual influence of intense feelings between spouses. In marriages where there is conflict, there are typical examples of interaction, which result in high proportion of negative communicative acts that affect the quality of marital relationships such as: loss of confidence, the emergence of frustration, feelings of anxiety, discomfort, leading to escalation of marital conflicts. Communication as a variable has a large impact on the resolution of marita

Small rural schools once thought themselves immune from serious conflict, but these once tranquil environments now find themselves dealing with more diverse student bodies, conflicts in values, and social and economic changes. It is no longer possible to assume that a rural school will have a sense of community—an underlying foundation of shared values and a sense of belonging. Without this shared set of values, conflicts are more difficult to resolve when they arise. More than ever, schools need to make a conscious effort to teach problem-solving and negotiation skills that build a framework

We examine the problem of semantic interoperability in modern software systems, which exhibit pervasiveness, a range of heterogeneities and in particular, semantic heterogeneity of data models which are built upon ubiquitous data repositories. We investigate whether we can build ontologies upon heterogeneous data repositories in order to resolve semantic conflicts in them, and achieve their semantic interoperability. We propose a layered software architecture, which accommodates in its core, ontological layering, resulting in a Generic ontology for Context aware, Interoperable and Data sharing

When committing source code changes to a version control system, these changes might affect more than one of several tasks connected to the project. This can have a bad impact on analysis of changes. It can also make it difficult to reuse or undo previous changes, or difficult to understand the evolution of software. With edit history refactoring, the edit history of source code can be reconfigured to help the developer separate commits into smaller commits. Thereby, one can avoid commits that affect more than one task. However, separated commits can have unwanted effects on the source code. T

The subject of this thesis are apparent conflicts between fundamental rights, which represent one of the most important problems contemporary legal systems are faced with. More specifically, this thesis presents and analyses different legal methods that have been suggested as answers to the problem. Contemporary constitutions usually contain provisions protecting certain fundamental rights, such as the right to life, the right to privacy, the right to freedom of expression, personality rights, the right to health, etc. The problem can arise when two (or more) provisions protecting fundamental

Abstract:
This thesis explores the implications of non-human primates’ propensity to hyperbolically discount the future. Hyperbolic discounting occurs when small, near-term rewards are preferred over larger rewards that are realized at a future point in time, but these preferences do not hold when the choice between long term and short term rewards is made at a time far removed from when the choice produces rewards-- i.e., at a time when the payoff of the choice is distant. I discuss two mutually exclusive models that attempt to explain why non-human primates hyperbolically discount: the cognitivist and

Secondly, it looks at decisions made by small businesses to mitigate the effects of poor performance by the courts.
