Historical gardens’ restoration is a complex process including not only built features of the layout, but also vegetation. Climate changes, air pollution, new pests and other factors have an important impact on vegetation and make sometimes impossible to restore the garden to the original model. Therefore, vegetation restoration requires investigations, to establish the tendencies, dynamics and resilience of different species in the garden, and decisions to adopt sustainable solutions. In both image reconstruction and restoration fields many methods have been reported or proposed so far, and they contribute a lot to the research development. Although these image processing techniques deal with continuous objects and start with discretely sampled data, there has not been developed a complete model which can well represent a continuous-discrete relation. This continuous-discrete relation means that the object space is defined as continuous, while the observation space is discrete. So, we call this relation a C-D mapping in this paper. Using this expression, it can said that co

Abstract:
Due to climate and environmental changes, the coral reef ecosystem has undergone severe degradation, leading to widespread bleaching, coral death, and a significant decline in live coral coverage. As a result, coral cultivation has become an urgent task, and the establishment of horticultural nurseries and the implementation of sexual reproduction for coral transplantation have emerged as crucial methods to address the scarcity of coral sources for transplantation. However, the selection of suitable attachment stones remains a challenge, as it significantly impacts the survival rates of transp

Abstract:
We studied the biochemical composition, nutritive value of the green mass and prepared hay from Ro-manian cultivars of perennial ryegrass, Lolium perenne L. „Mara” and „Măgura” grown in monoculture on the experimental plot of the National Botanical Garden (Institute) “Alexandru Ciubotaru”, Chisinau, R. Mol-dova. Results revealed that dry matter of harvested green mass contained 98-116 g/kg CP, 299-326 g/kg CF, 71-77 g/kg ash, 329-353 g/kg ADF, 546-593 g/kg NDF, 38-40 g/kg ADL, 291-313 g/kg Cel, 217-240 g/kg HC, with nutritive and energy value 60.9-65.3 % DMD, 60.1-64.8 % ODM, RFV=96-108, 12.12
