220 operations in 211 hands in 160 consecutive patients suffering from Dupuytren’s contracture were performed from 1976 through 1984 at the Kuopio University Central Hospital in Finland. 179 operations were carried out as day cases. The mean follow-up was 3.2 years. Sub-total fasciectomy resulted in good immediate and long-term improvement in 86% of patients. The recurrence rate was 27%. In patients with Meniere's disease with incapacitating vertiginous complaints in whom medical treatment has failed, sacculotomies by both the Fick and tack operations are relatively simple surgical procedures, whose short duration of anesthesia and hospitalization of patients minimizes the risks of morbidity in older patients appropriately to their general health, with good results in controlling vertigo. Forty-three patients were reviewed between 17 and 113 months (mean of 47 months) following surgery for acquired stenosing tenosynovitis of the fingers or thumbs. 32 (60.4%) of the 53 operations were completely successful. Objective: The objective is to analyze the results of endoscopic submucosal dissections (ESDs) of large intestine tumors performed in one clinic.Methods: Data on 207 ESDs in large intestine for 2007–2019 were analyzed. The duration and speed of surgical operation, the number of en block resections and curable resections, and the level of complications and change of results within gain in experience were assessed.
