Abstract:
The effectiveness of communication in doing da’wah is demanded for the development of da’wah in this era of global competition. Therefore, the presence of various models of communication today makes communication both as secondary and primary tool. Moslem preachers can build a design of da’wah communication based on technology to make it effective. In improving the effectiveness of da’wah communication, intellectual capability and da’wah rethoric are required including the use of communication technology. Implicitly, communication technology has become a main prerequisite for Moslem preachers to modernize da’wah rethoric in preaching. However, it is communication capabilities which make da’wah rethoric being carried out well, and in turn, da’wah rethoric will have a high value in the community.

La poesía posmoderna española, la que irrumpe con la denominada Generación del 68, presenta procedimientos retóricos comunes sobre los que sustenta su gran diversidad estilística. Se trata de la metapoesía, la indeterminación, la kenofilia poética y la resemantización del tópico muerte. Aunque aquí se analizan por separado, tales mecanismos retóricos generan en su intersección los ejes creadores de la lírica posmoderna española. The Spanish postmodern poetry, which rushes into called 68´s Generation, presents some rethoric common methods about which a great stylistic diversity supports. It is a question of the metapoetry, the poetics of indeterminacy, the poetic kenofilia and the resemantization of death topic. Although here we analyse them separately, such rethoric mechanisms generate in their intersection the creative focal points of the Spanish postmodern poetry. This paper proposes a model for textual analysis in explorative hyperfictions that may serve as a didactic tool for teaching hypertextual literature in both middle and upper levels. The proposal includes ten sections (with descriptors, justification and examples for each of them) and is based on two conceptual premises: it is essential to make use of analysis models which respond to the inherent features of the interactive textuality, and to work with a teaching model that encourages comprehensive learning. El artículo propone una metodología de análisis textual para las hiperficciones explorativas que sirva de instrumento didáctico de la literatura hipertextual en los niveles medio y superior. La propuesta contiene diez apartados (con descriptores, justificación y ejemplos en cada uno de ellos) y se fundamenta en dos premisas conceptuales: es imprescindible disponer de modelos de análisis que respondan a las características propias de la textualidad interactiva y trabajar con un modelo de enseñanza que promueva una asimilación significativa de los contenidos.

AbstrakPenelitian ini membahas tentang kanon gaya retorika (Chanon Rethoric) kepala negara, yaitu Susilo BambangYudhoyono dan Joko Widodo. Baik Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono maupun Joko Widodo memiliki gaya retorikayang berbeda dan karakter pribadi yang masing-masing memiliki keunikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengidentifikasi gaya retorika SBY dan Jokowi, berfokus pada saat mereka memimpin Sidang KabinetParipurna. Dalam penelitian, penulis menggunakan teori kode verbal dan kode nonverbal dan menggunakanpendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif dengan teknik triangulasi. Objek penelitian iniberupa video rekaman pidato SBY dan Jokowi dalam memimpin sidang kabinet paripurna. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa dalam menyampaikan materi pidato, gaya bicara SBY teratur, kaku, dan menggunakanistilah yang panjang. SBY lebih mengutamakan kode verbal dibandingkan dengan non verbal karena mampu membentuk bahasa (langue) yaitu fonologi (tata bunyi), morfologi (pembentukan kata), dan sintaksis (pembentuk kalimat). Gerakan bahasa isyarat adaptor SBY yang paling banyak ditemui terutama objek adapteryang ditujukan pada gadget canggih yang dibawanya untuk membantunya mengingat isi materipidato. Sedangkan gaya retorika Jokowi menggunakan bahasa percakapan (parole), yaitu menggunakanbahasa keseharian dan mudah dipahami oleh semua kalangan, kata-kata yang merakyat, dan lebih to thepoint. Bahasa tubuh (body language) Jokowi juga membantu memudahkan pesan pidato dapat tersampaikandengan jelas. Hal ini menandakan bahasa non verbal kinesics lebih dominan karena ekspresi Jokowi berubahubahmengikuti pesan yang disampaikandan gerakanyangdilakukan.Kata Kunci: Kanon Retorika, Gaya Retorika, Teori Kode Verbal dan Nonverbal.AbstractThis study discusses the Chanon Rethoric head of state, namely Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Joko Widodo.Both Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and Joko Widodo have different styles of rhetoric and personal characterthat each has its own uniqueness. This study aims to identify the rhetorical style of SBY and Jokowi, focusingas they lead the Plenary Cabinet Session. In the study, the author uses verbal code theory and nonverbal codeand uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method with triangulation technique. The objectof this research is a video recording of SBY and Jokowi’s speech in leading the plenary cabinet session. The results showed that in delivering speech material, SBY’s speech style is regular, rigid, and uses long term. SBY prefers verbal code compared with non verbal because it is able to form language (langue) that is phonology(sound system), morphology (word formation), and syntax (forming of sentence). The most widely used SBYadapter language gesture is particularly the object-adapter aimed at the advanced gadgets it carries tohelp him remember the content of the speech material. While Jokowi rhetoric style using the language ofconversation (parole), which uses the language of everyday and easily understood by all circles, the wordspopulist, and more to the point. Body language (body language) Jokowi also help ease speech messages canbe conveyed clearly. There are so many speeches delivered by such famous people in this world. But, if we are asked to give the point of view about the impact of each speech delivered then the speech from Martin Luther King Jr. will convey the high meaning in term of rethorical speech especially the content and the context about the concepts of repetition found. The speech was on 28th of August 1963, at the Lincoln Memorial, Washington D.C in a verbal ways and its text become the secondary data to be analyzed with much focus on emphasizing phrases, words or sentences. By using the concept of rethoric perspective through repetition such as anaphora, epistrophe and epizeuzis, the researcher wants to know the values behind the repetition. That is why, the analysis is using the descriptive qualitative research on taking the secondary data that has been adapted from the video and the text of the speech itself. The conclusion especially on the ideas of repetition are that Martin Luther King Jr. tries to make sure his audiences about that 1) the repetition is something more that the meaning itself, it is above. 2) The struggle, it is something true, needs to be realized in the real life, and adds the weight of the expection to be equal and free.

This article focuses Balaghah (rethoric) which objectiv is to express the beauty of spoken and written words. This science had developed since Jahiliyah period (pre-Islam) and continued to grow during the Islamic era. Among many groups developed the science, there was Mu'tazilah with the members such as Bisyr ibn Mu'tamir, al Jahiz, and Zamakhsyari. This groups is known as the adherents of schoolof rational since they put ratio first before texts(nash al-Qur'an and Hadis). They developed this science for propaganda and to confirm their throughts. According to Bisyr there are three requirements for the level of sentences beauty in Balaghah: pronunciation must be clear, easy to be understood, and use qafiyah (structured) well.

COORDENAÇÃO DE APERFEIÇOAMENTO DO PESSOAL DE ENSINO SUPERIOR
A presente tese propõe uma discussão sobre a postura neutralística (Heritage; Greatbatch, 1991) adotada nas reportagens de capa da Revista Exame, da editora Abril, publicadas no ano de 2005. As reportagens são analisadas a partir das estratégias argumentativas (Vieira, 2003; Schiffrin, 1987; Gryner, 2000) de expressão de pontos de vista e de sustentação, por meio das quais a revista se posiciona e posiciona as organizações e os empresários (Harré; Langenhove, 1991; 1999) no mundo dos negócios. A partir da análise destas estratégias, foram verificadas as principais storylines de sucesso defendidas pela publicação, como princípios para as empresas crescerem com lucro. Os resultados apontam para o uso de estratégias de sustentação de argumentos com base em fatos; exemplos de outras empresas; dados estatísticos obtidos através de pesquisas e de discurso reportado (Tannen, 1989) de estórias de vida de empresários e especialistas, o que confere ao discurso jornalístico aparência de representar objetivamente a realidade (Shi-Xu, 2000). No entanto, estas estratégias lingüístico-discursivas expressam pontos de vista e aproximam o gênero reportagem do press release, isto é, de um texto que informa e promove as organizações, seus gestores e servem como cartilhas que orientam o comportamento profissional no mundo capitalista (Gee et. al., 1996).
This study proposes a discussion about the neutralistic posture (Heritage; Greatbatch, 1991) assumed on cover reports of Revista Exame published in 2005, Abril Publisher. The reports are analyzed based on the argumentative strategies (Vieira, 2003; Schiffrin, 1987; Gryner, 2000) of marks of points of view and sustaining, through which the magazine assumes a position while positions organizations and entrepreneurs (Harré; Langenhove, 1991, 1999) in the business world. The analysis of these strategies unveiled the main storylines of success spread by the magazine as principles for companies to grow profitably. The results show the use of strategies to sustain arguments based on facts; examples of other companies; statistical data from surveys and reported speech (Tannen, 1989) of life stories told by entrepreneurs and experts, making believe that journalistic discourse represents objectively the reality (Shi-Xu, 2000). However, these linguistic and discursive strategies express points of view and provide approximation between reports and press release, that is, a text that informs and promotes organizations and their managers and can be used as manuals to guide professional behavior in the capitalist world (Gee et. al., 1996).

Resumo: O ato de tomar a palavra implica necessariamente na construção de uma imagem de si. Admitindo-se que o locutor deixa suas marcas na superfície textual quando enuncia, trabalharemos a função de co-enunciador que o leitor desempenha na construção do ethos. Assim, no presente trabalho apresentaremos uma análise das imagens que o ombudsman da Folha de S. Paulo cria de si nas suas publicações no periódico. O corpo de análise é constituído de quatro meses de publicação do ombudsman: de abril a julho de 2008. Como base teórica, discorreremos sobre teorias que admitem a eficácia da palavra, como a arte Retórica de Aristóteles, a Pragmática e os estudos mais recentes da análise do discurso de linha francesa. Nas análises, tentaremos mostrar as imagens que o ombudsman cria de si ao enunciar, mostrando as marcas no texto e a construção do ethos do orador que as enuncia.
Abstract: The act of communication provides the building of an author's image. Before this, the author builds the image of the people that will receive his text and it affects the production conditions of the text. This work intends to present tools to analyze the images that the ombudsman of Folha de S. Paulo creates of himself. All the five publication on sundays of june 2008 will be analyzed. There the journalist criticizes the performance of the whole newspaper. We'll write about the theories that admit the effectiveness of the word, as rethoric, pragmatic and the recent studies of the discourse analisys. We'll show that the discursive gender of the ombudsman of Folha de S. Paulo is similar to the epidíctico genre of the rethoric art, that is dedicated to praise or to censor. Also, it will be posible to understand that the persuasive character is mainly connected to the buildng of the author's ethos and to the scenography.

The present work aims to verify how is the constitution of the female ethos by NOVA magazine presented during a period of four years, by a comparative analysis of two samples organized in chronological order. The first was chosen from the magazine birthday edition, in September 2007 and the second was taken from the January edition, 2011. The samples were chosen by corresponding to proposals of behavior rules to the readers, which provide a detailed analysis, so that the ethos of contemporary woman could be obtained. In order to guarantee a satisfactory analysis, historical and theoretical considerations about the Classical Rhetoric and the New Rhetoric, based in C. Perelman & L. Olbrechts-Tyteca, M. Meyer, O. Reboul, J. Dubois, L. L. Mosca, T. L. Halliday and S. L Silva studies applied to advertising language are exposed. For the analysis, L. A. Ferreira studies corresponding to rhetorical analysis principles, with pedagogically systematized categories, are used. P. O presente trabalho objetiva verificar como se dá a constituição do ethos feminino pela revista NOVA durante um período de quatro anos, por meio da análise comparativa de duas amostras, dispostas em ordem cronológica. A primeira foi escolhida da edição de aniversário da revista, em setembro de 2007 e a segunda foi extraída da edição de janeiro de 2011. As amostras foram escolhidas por corresponderem a propostas de normas de conduta direcionadas às leitoras, o que proporciona uma análise detalhada, de modo que o ethos da mulher contemporânea possa ser traçado. Para garantir uma análise satisfatória, são expostas considerações históricas e teóricas a respeito da Retórica Clássica e da Nova Retórica, baseadas nos estudos de C. Perelman & L. Olbrechts-Tyteca, Michel Meyer, Olivier Reboul, J. Dubois, J. M. Viana, D. Tringalli, L. L. Mosca, T. L. Halliday e S. L. Silva, aplicados à questão do movimento passional para a criação e cristalização de verdades por meio do discurso publicitário. Para a análise, são utilizados os ditos de L. A. O trabalho investiga a constituição da figura do filósofo e sua oposição aos outros produtores de discurso existentes na pólis clássica ateniense, como o retor, o sofista e o poeta. O propósito principal é salientar as diferenças substanciais entre a real ciência dialética e suas artes opostas. O termo filósofo foi empregado por Platão no século IV a.C. no estrito senso de um saber privilegiado, que apreende as Formas inteligíveis, incorpóreas e invisíveis. A atividade escrita de Platão ressalta a coexistência entre os discursos figurativo e racional, pela qual ele concebe a natureza mítica e filosófica do ser e do não-ser, da opinião, descrita como um intermediário entre o ser imiscido e o não-ser absoluto. A dialética é determinada como a arte originada da elevada Musa, sendo um saber psicagógico, não meramente um método, mas a elevada ciência que articula a unidade e a multiplicidade fenomênica, e o filósofo o amante das Musas, analisando a natureza da arte idolopéica e suas conseqüências políticas e epistemológicas. A dialética é ciência própria da alma dianoética e mnemônica. Se o sofista e o retor elaboram uma imitação doxástica, fundamentada na arte antilógica, se o poeta realiza uma imitação de aparências, o filósofo produz uma imitação sábia, baseada na ciência da verdade, do conhecimento e ser. O sentido e explicitações desta tese tenta redefinir e repensar o significado do termo dialética nos Diálogos em que esse termo aparece. A tese evita usar categorias modernas de pensamento para entender os Diálogos. A pesquisa se concentra precisamente em Mênon, Fédon, República V, VI, VII, Fedro, Sofista e Filebo
This work investigates the constitution of philosophers portrait and its opposition from others discourses produtors genders living in athenian classic polis, such as the rethor, the sophist and the poet. The main purpose is to underline the substancial differences between the real science of dialectic and its opposites. The term philosophy was employed by Plato on IV century b.C. in a strict sense of an accurate knowledge, which aprehend the inteligible, incorporeal and invisible Forms. Platos written activity points out the coexistence between figurative and rational discourses, in which he conceives the mythical and philosophical nature of being and no-being, of opinion, described as an intermediate of unmixed being and absolute no-being, and science. Dialectic is determinated as the art originated from the supreme Muses, being a psicagogic wisdom, not merely a method, but the highest science, which articulates unity and phaenomenic plurality, and the philosopher as Museslover, analysing the nature of idolopeic art and its political and epistemological consequences. Dialectic is the proper science of a dianoetic and mnemonic soul. If the sophist and the rethor begget a doxastic imitation, based on antilogic art, if poet realizes an imitation of appearances, the philosopher produces a wisdom imitation, based on the science of truth, knowledge and being. The meaning and explicitation of this thesis try to redefine and rethink the significance of dialectic on the Dialogues, in which this term appears. This research avoids to use modern categories of thought to understand the Dialogues. This study focuses precisely on Meno, Phaedo, Republic V, VI, VII, Phaedrus, Sophist and Philebus

In the Brazilian city Foz do Iguaçu, region where it can be found the Triple Frontier (Tríplice Fronteira) among Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, the presidents of these three countries met in December 17th, 2012, together with the Uruguayan president and other Heads of State who were invited for the 40th MERCOSUL Summit. In this context, our objects of study are the speeches given by the Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, by the Argentinean President Cristina Kirchner and also by Fernando Lugo, the Paraguayan President. The goal is to develop the rhetoric analyses of these discourses and observe how the speakers position themselves in concern of the integration and the MERCOSUL. Therefore, we have the Rhetorical Discourse Theory as basis for the analyses that are going to be divided in the three purposed dimensions for this theory: rationalizing dimension, esthetics dimension and political dimension.
Na cidade brasileira de Foz do Iguaçu, região da chamada Tríplice Fronteira entre Argentina, Brasil e Paraguai, reuniram-se em 17 de dezembro de 2010 os presidentes desses três países, juntamente com o presidente uruguaio e outros chefes de Estado convidados, para a 40a. Cúpula do MERCOSUL. Nesse contexto, encontra-se nosso objeto de estudo: os discursos proferidos pelo presidente brasileiro Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, pela presidente argentina Cristina Kirchner e por Fernando Lugo, presidente paraguaio. Tomamos como fundamentação teórico-metodológica a teoria retórica, com ênfase na Teoria Retórica do Discurso, organizando as análises de acordo com as três dimensões propostas por essa teoria: dimensão racionalizadora, dimensão estética e dimensão política. Objetivamos desenvolver a análise retórica destes discursos, buscando estabelecer uma retórica característica de cada um deles, além de observar como os oradores se posicionam com relação à integração e ao MERCOSUL entre os países que representam

La thèse porte sur l’édition et l’étude de la tradition manuscrite des trois rédactions (dont deux inédites) de la vulgarisation du De doctrina dicendi et tacendi (1245) par Albertano da Brescia. L’œuvre du Juge lombard est un traité rhétorique et moral qui a connu un immédiat succès de public au Moyen Âge, à la fois en Italie et en Europe, comme le prouvent ses nombreuses traductions dans plusieurs langues romanes. Parmi elles, la vulgarisation la plus ancienne que nous connaissons est celle attribuée à Andrea da Grosseto, qui traduisit les traités moraux d’Albertano en 1268, en France ; son travail fut suivi par celui du notaire de Pistoia Soffredi del Grazia. Parmi les autres traductions, nous rappelons également une version florentine (fin du XIIIe siècle), une pisane (1288), et trois rédactions vulgaires anonymes, jusqu’à aujourd’hui inconnues, dont ce projet vise à publier les textes. Auparavant, le cadre de la tradition manuscrite de la vulgarisation du Liber de doctrina dicendi et tacendi était peu clair. Comme l’avaient déjà souligné Segre et Marti dans le 1959, les études concernant les relations entre les diverses vulgarisations italiennes de l’œuvre d’Albertano étaient insuffisantes. La situation était encore inchangée au moment de la publication du dernier recensement, celui de Giulio Vaccaro, en 2011, qui comptait 46 manuscrits de vulgarisation. En particulier, l’absence d’une distinction entre les différentes rédactions et, notamment, d’une édition des rédactions anonymes fondée sur des critères scientifiques a longtemps empêché la comparaison avec les autres versions italiennes et européennes. La première partie de ce travail vise à encadrer les versions italiennes du traité dans leur contexte et à les commenter du point de vue culturel, littéraire et linguistique. Dans cette introduction aux textes, on a essayé de réunir les résultats de l’enquête à propos de la fortune européenne du livre d’Albertano, mise en rapport avec les vulgarisations du latin au français de traités rhétoriques et moraux. La comparaison a concerné aussi la traduction du traité faite par Brunetto Latini. La collation entre la version française du Liber de doctrina dicendi et tacendi comprise dans le Tresor et les vulgarisations toscanes a mis en relief des fautes et des innovations communes, qui laissent supposer l’existence d’une parenté. Du point de vue de l’héritage littéraire, on examinera les thèmes du silence et de la consolatio considérés comme des possibles remèdes pour guérir le conflit intérieur, à partir du traité albertanien jusqu’à Pétrarque. Sous l’aspect linguistique, on mettra en évidence l’apport indispensable des vulgarisations du Liber à la fondation de la prose italienne des origines, comparable à celle des trois Canzonieri qui marquent le début de la tradition poétique vulgaire. La deuxième partie de cette thèse est dédiée à l’étude de la tradition manuscrite de la vulgarisation du traité, qui a permis d’enrichir le recensement du 2011 avec trois nouveaux manuscrits et de reconstruire les relations stemmatiques parmi ses témoins. L’examen des textes a permis d’éclaircir des zones d’ombre qui concernent les rapports parmi les rédactions vulgaires et d’individuer au moins trois différentes versions anonymes : la « Vulgate », une version « abrégée », transmise par vingt-neuf manuscrits, qui privilège le message moral et gnomique au détriment de son contenu rhétorique ; l’ « Intégrale », une version complète et plus fidèle au texte latin, dont cinq manuscrits sont témoins ; la « Composite », remaniement transmis par cinq témoins, apparemment plus tard. Pour chaque version, on a tracé un stemma codicum et publié un texte représentatif, afin d’effectuer une analyse linguistique nécessaire à établir les rapports qui lient ces versions et leur origine
This thesis deals with the study of the manuscript tradition of three anonymous Italian versions (including two unpublished) of the vulgarisation of the De doctrina dicendi et tacendi (1245) by Albertanus of Brescia and aims to publish the critical edition of these versions. The work of the Lombard Judge is a rhetorical and moral treatise that has enjoyed immediate success and diffusion in the Middle Ages, both in Italy and in Europe, as it can be proved by its many translations into several Romance languages. Among them, the first vulgarisation that we know is the one attributed to Andrea da Grosseto, who translated the moral treatises of Albertanus in 1260, in France; his work was followed by that of the notary of Pistoia Soffredi del Grazia. Among other translations, we also recall one Florentine version (late Thirteenth century), one pisane (1288), and three anonymous vulgar versions, two of which published here for the first time. Previously, the framework of the manuscript tradition of the Liber de doctrina dicendi et tacendi was very nebulous. As already pointed out by Segre and Marti in 1959, studies concerning the relations among the various Italian vulgarisations of Albertanus’s work were insufficient. This situation did not change with the publication of the last census, that of Giulio Vaccaro, in 2011, which counted 46 manuscripts. In particular, the absence of a distinction between the different Italian versions and, especially, of an edition of the anonymous ones, based on scientific criteria, has long prevented comparisons with other Italian and European versions. The first part of this work aims to frame the Italian versions of the treatise in their context and to comment on them from the cultural, literary and linguistic point of view. In this introduction to the texts, an attempt has been made to bring together the results of the inquiry into the European heritage of Albertanus’ book, related to the popularisation of Latin and French rhetorical and moral treatises. The comparison also concerned the translation of the treatise by Brunetto Latini. The collation between the French version of the Liber included in the Tresor and the Tuscan vulgarisations highlighted common errors and innovations, which suggest the existence of a relation. From the point of view of the literary heritage, this work will examine the themes of silence and consolatio considered as possible remedies to heal the inner conflict, from Albertanus’ treatise to Petrarch’s works. From a linguistic point of view, the indispensable contribution of the vulgarisations of the Liber to the founding of the Italian prose, comparable to that of the three Canzonieri, which marked the beginning of the vulgar poetic tradition, will be highlighted. The second part of this thesis is devoted to the study of the manuscript tradition of the vulgarisation of the treatise, which allowed to enrich the 2011 census with three new manuscripts and to reconstruct the stemmatic relations among its witnesses. The examination of the texts has led to clarify areas of shadow concerning the relations among the vulgar translations and to identify at least three different anonymous versions: the «Vulgate», a shortened version, transmitted by twenty-nine manuscripts, which privileges the moral and gnomic message to the detriment of its rhetorical content; the «Integral», a complete version more similar to the Latin text, testified by five manuscripts; the «Composite», apparently subsequent to the previous ones, also transmitted by five witnesses. For each version, a stemma codicum was drawn and a representative text was published, in order to carry out a linguistic analysis necessary to establish the relations which connect these versions and their origin

Esta dissertação de mestrado propõe uma introdução ao estudo da noção de engenho na obra Nova Arte de Conceitos, publicada nos primeiros anos do século XVIII, por Francisco Leitão Ferreira. Por se tratar de um manual de retórica, distante temporalmente do leitor atual e das convenções da moderna literatura e estudos literários, este trabalho foi dividido em três grandes blocos. O primeiro promove, como objetivo central, uma discussão sobre o lugar em que se encontra Francisco Leitão Ferreira e a arte retórica nos manuais de história literária. Em seguida, levantam-se dados biográficos do preceptista a partir de testemunhos da época, buscando introduzir o leitor a sua obra. O segundo tem como objetivo contextualizar o leitor da arte retórica, bem como dos principais tratadistas, preceptivas, leitores e características, buscando evitar leituras anacrônicas e imprecisas da matéria, e levantar as principais tensões e apropriações que a arte sofrera, no transcorrer dos séculos XV-XVII. Por fim, o terceiro capítulo se debruça sobre a noção de engenho em preceptistas e retóres antigos e contemporâneos do acadêmico português, e também sobre a obra Nova Arte de Conceitos. Portanto, ao estudar a noção de engenho e sua relação com a arte retórica e sistematizar o conceito na obra de Leitão Ferreira, buscamos uma melhor leitura, compreensão e análise dos documentos poéticos da primeira metade do século XVIII em Portugal.
This dissertation proposes an introduction to the study of the notion of ingenium in the Nova Arte de Conceitos, published in the first years of the XVIII century, by Francisco Leitão Ferreira. Being a rhetoric manual, distant temporally of the modern reader and the conventions of modern literature and literary studies, this piece of work was divided into three great blocks. The first one raises, as its main goal, a discussion about the place of the rhetorical art on the manuals of literary history. After that, biographical data about the preceptist are raised from records of the time, seeking to introduce the reader to his work. The second one seeks to contextualize the reader on rhetorical art, such as its main treatise writers, rhetorical treats, readers and characteristics, aiming to avoid anachronistic or inaccurate readings of the matter, and to raise the main tensions and appropriations faced by the art throughout the XV-XVII centuries. At last, the third chapter deals with the notion of ingenium in theoricists and rhetorician prior and contemporary to the portuguese academic, and also deals with the Nova Arte de Conceitos. Therefore, when studying the notion of ingenium and its relation to the rhetorical art and compiling the notion on the work of Leitão Ferreira, we search for a better reading, comprehension and analysis of the poetical documents of the first half of XVIII century Portugal

Este trabalho pretende discutir a Teoria Argumentativa de Chaïm Perelman e a Tópica de Theodor Viehweg a partir de uma perspectiva hermenêutica. Com base em Martin Heidegger e Hans-Georg Gadamer e no papel preponderante da linguagem tanto para a argumentação quanto para a hermenêutica, defende-se a idéia de que os conceitos de argumentação, de retórica e de tópica podem tornar-se fundamentais para a superação da metodologia lógico-dedutivista que se consolidou no paradigma racionalista e positivista da Modernidade. A proposição básica do trabalho será reconstruir os conceitos de Perelman e de Viehweg, redimensionando-os à luz da hermenêutica filosófica. Nessa perspectiva, busca-se ressaltar que os contornos taxionômicos e classificatórios da Teoria Argumentativa e da Tópica não devem ser desprezados, mas inseridos num standard de racionalidade de cunho instrumental. This paper aims at studying the Italian fortune of the Calderonian play Con quien vengo vengo , firstly, by focusing on its first version by Michele della Marra (1665) and then moving on to a triple textual comparison between the Calderonian source-text, the rewriting of Della Marra and the second adaptation by the actress Angiola D'Orso, whose first edition came out in 1666. Despite his faithfullness to the plot of the original text, the first translator remodels the text either by summarizing it, or removing certain typically Calderonian rhetorical artifices, or replacing the figure of the gracioso by that of the southern servant, who uses the dialect. On the contrary, Angiola D'Orso shows greater respect for the Spanish play, displaying more sensitiveness toward its rethorical beauty, which she is able to reproduce successfully.
