The period after incarceration and the influence of neighborhood effects are gaining interest among scholars as a small body of evidence is illustrating the difficulties returning citizens have obtaining basic services and needs, employment, stable housing, and other social and behavioral health supports in the areas where they are being released. Transitional planning efforts to ensure that returning citizens are prepared to engage in society and have necessary supports are often made. However, returning citizens may be in local communities that do not offer needed supports, such as in areas of high poverty and criminal activity, and low employment options. Findings from this study suggest that more attention is needed to where returning citizens are released following their period of incarceration.

Abstract:
Yogyakarta city library applied an open access service system, in which the library users were given access to independently find and take the books in collection shelves. Those users were also asked to return the finished books to the returning books medium in the form of trolleys. Later these books in the trolleys would be returned by the librarians scheduled for shelving duty. Observation result showed that there are a lot of unreturned books because the trolleys of the returning mediums are too full. Librarian also faced many difficulties in classifying the book stacks before returned to the collection shelves because of their messy state. According to the design study and development employing front- end process method, process (Karl & Steven, 2008), this problem could be solved by developing design concept for books returning mediums in the form of shelves contained colors and book codes information according to the standard of Yogyakarta city library. The result design prototype trial showed the increasing library users’ interest to return the finished books to the returning books medium according to the color and code information. It would greatly help the librarians in classifying the books before the re-organizing in the collection shelves. Abstract:
Summary This study evaluates the relationships between parole officers and ex-prisoners, who return to communities after incarceration (returning citizens). We measured returning citizens’ anxiety about meeting their parole officers and the ways in which they prepare for their meetings. We relate anxiety levels to developing a therapeutic alliance, client confidence that their parole officer is working in their best interest, client truthfulness about their housing and work status, and client optimism about their reentry process. To measure returning citizen anxiety and experience with parole officers, we carried out a survey of returning citizens (N = 193) in Philadelphia just before they were to meet their parole officers. Findings The results illuminate the ways that anxiety has significant negative impact on the quality of the working relationship between returning citizens and their parole officers but not precautionary behaviors. Returning citizens who reported higher anxiety prior to meeting their parole officer tend to report lower therapeutic alliance, less confidence that the parole officer works on their behalf, and less truthfulness. Implications Our findings provide more insight into what needs and challenges people on parole and probation face and outline new ideas about which of these factors parole officers should attend to in order to improve the services they provide. We call for parole officers to be cognizant of the anxiety that people under probation face and the need to make them feel supported and at ease. We also call for social workers in most countries to take a more active role in the provision of parole and probation services.

Abstract:
This research aims to provide a deeper analysis of the complex relationship between brand equity, social media, interest in revisiting, and the decision to revisit in the context of hospital services. Quantitative techniques are used in this study together with cross-sectional data gathering. Everybody in the population is a patient. This study uses non-probability sampling to acquire data. The study's sample comprised one hundred participants. A questionnaire was utilized to collect data. The SEM-PLS analytical method will be used to process the data. The study's findings support the notion that social media and brand equity positively and significantly impact both the desire to return and the decision to do so. It should be highlighted, nonetheless, that the desire to return does not necessarily affect the choice to return. In addition, although interest in returning to visit does not mediate the relationship between brand equity and the decision to visit again, this interest does mediate the relationship between social media and the decision to visit again. This shows that the influence of social media can make it easier for consumers to obtain information, thereby increasing their chances of returning to the hospital for treatment. To increase interest in repeat visits, it is necessary to organize intensively so that the hospital service brand becomes stronger in the eyes of consumers.

Abstract:
Return migration is a topic of considerable interest in scholarly literature, with many studies suggesting that returning migrants can impact the economic development of their home country through capital accumulation and entrepreneurship. This study seeks to examine the entrepreneurial intentions of return migrants and the influence of formal education and training on their entrepreneurial tendencies. Utilizing data from the National Workforce Survey (Sakernas) in 2020 and employing logistic regression analysis, the study revealed that formal education tends to steer returning migrants towards the formal sector rather than entrepreneurship upon their return. Conversely, while training was found to potentially increase the likelihood of entrepreneurship, the effect was not statistically significant. Additionally, individual characteristics such as age, gender, and marital status were found to significantly influence entrepreneurial intentions, with older individuals, females, and married individuals exhibiting a higher propensity for entrepreneurship among return migrants. These findings contribute to the existing literature by highlighting that, on average, return migrants in Indonesia tend to have relatively low levels of education, and higher levels of human capital may diminish their interest in entrepreneurship.

Abstract:
In a brief review of scholarship, this paper presents the general assessment of Church decline among the Youth in Australia. Journals, books, magazines, and websites information were the resources employed in the analyses. It was discovered that the spiritual and personal growth, discipleship role, and mission life/work determine the young adult's understanding of the church and environment. Lack of interest, busy life schedule, political issues, and people-pleasing were found to have triggered why the young ones have declined in their church attendance. The review recommended that effective youth ministry is possible if there is a specific and time slot for busy life schedule people; pastors adopt strategic ministry to the youth and focus on enhancing the youth's philosophical thoughts. The findings would help appropriate youth ministry in the contemporary context. Future researchers may consider the explanatory or exploratory mixed-methods design.

Abstract:
Background. Quality service provides satisfaction to customers, which ultimately results in customers making repeat use/interest in repeat visits and recommending the health service to others. Quality health services include five dimensions of quality, namely tangible (physical evidence), reliability (reliability), responsiveness (responsiveness), assurance (guarantee) and empathy (empathy). The aim of the research is to analyze the quality of service on the interest in repeat visits of internal medicine polyclinic patients at Gambiran Regional Hospital, Kediri City. Research methods. Quantitative research uses a cross-sectional approach (cross sectional study). The population in the study were all new internal medicine patients who visited the Gambiran Regional Hospital, Kediri City with a sample of 105 respondents. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique. The independent variable is service quality (tangible (physical evidence), reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy) and the dependent variable is interest in repeat visits. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and were analyzed using chi-square. Research result. The chi square test results for the dimension of physical evidence (tangible) are PR=2.221, 95%CI =1.078-4.533, p-value = 0.037 and the dimension of reliability (reliability) is PR=5.903, 95%CI =2.207-15.785, p-value = 0.037, which means that there is a relationship between physical evidence (tangible) and reliability (reliability) with the interest in revisiting internal medicine polyclinic patients at Gambiran Regional Hospital, Kediri City. The dimensions of responsiveness (responsiveness), assurance (assurance) and empathy (empathy) have no relationship with interest in revisiting internal medicine polyclinic patients at Gambiran Regional Hospital, Kediri City (p-value ≥ 0.05). Conclusion. There is a relationship between the quality of service in the tangible dimension (physical evidence) and reliability (reliability) on the interest in repeat visits of internal medicine polyclinic patients at Gambiran Regional Hospital, Kediri City. Therefore, there is a need for synergy among one work unit to increase interest in repeat visits.

Abstract:
This study aims to analyze the influence of facilities and prices on the intention to revisit West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati. The background of this study is based on the low level of repeat visits by the public to BIJB, which is suspected to be caused by suboptimal facilities and the mismatch of price perceptions with the services received. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis methods on primary data obtained through questionnaires to airport service users. Two main hypotheses are tested in this study, namely the positive influence of facilities and prices on the intention to revisit, both partially and simultaneously. The results of the analysis show that both facilities and prices have a significant and positive influence on the intention to revisit BIJB Kertajati. The regression coefficients for facilities and prices are 0.228 and 1.772, respectively, indicating that price has a greater influence than facilities. This finding indicates that perceptions of affordability and suitability of price to benefits received are dominant factors in driving consumer loyalty. Therefore, BIJB managers need to improve the quality of facilities and establish competitive pricing strategies to attract service users sustainably.

Abstract:
This paper aims to study the trends of labor migration (voluntary and forced) from Russia to Tajikistan and the peculiarities of the reintegration of returning migrants into Tajik society. Labor migration is the main driver of economic growth for Tajikistan and the most effective tool in the national fight against poverty. However, many migrants from Tajikistan do not have a formally documented status in Russia, which makes their predicament extremely difficult and vulnerable. One of the most sensitive measures for Tajik labor migrants was the introduction of administrative penalties through expulsion and the imposition of a massive ban on labor migrants from entering the Russian Federation. This has led to an increase in the return migration of Tajik migrants to their homeland. The article clarifies the concept of return migration, reveals the reasons for the return of labor migrants from Russia to Tajikistan and identifies the specific features of reintegration and the socio-economic situation of returning migrants in Tajikistan. The authors establish that a significant share of returning migrants have already reached retirement age after working in Russia for decades, but they do not receive a pension either in Tajikistan or in Russia. Unfortunately, as of today the Government of Tajikistan has not developed any special programs for the reintegration of returning migrants due to lack of funds and lack of experience in this area. Most returning migrants are forced to solve their problems on their own or resort to the help of their families and relatives. In fact, the government does not hold an interest in the massive return of labor migrants, since the increase in their number worsens the socio-economic situation and the general state of the labor market.

Abstract:
In the era of rapid technological development, maintaining interest in reading traditional literary works such as novels has become increasingly challenging. Despite the abundance of research on reading habits, studies examining how contemporary novels can sustain and enhance reading interest in the digital era remain limited. This research aims to explore the role of novels in fostering reading interest in the digital era, focusing on how literary elements can engage modern readers. This study employs a literature review method with a pragmatic approach, which examines literary works as tools for conveying specific messages or intentions to readers. The object of this research is Rapijali: Seeking, Becoming, Returning by Dee Lestari, a novel with the potential to stimulate reading interest across various age groups. Data were collected through intensive reading and note-taking techniques, followed by qualitative analysis to identify key themes and messages. The findings reveal that Rapijali conveys moral values such as hard work, mutual respect, and humility, subtly influencing readers' perspectives. Additionally, the novel’s accessible language, engaging storyline, and serialized format contribute to its appeal, making it an effective medium for promoting reading habits in the digital age. These results imply that well-crafted literary works can still play a significant role in cultivating a culture of reading, even amid technological distractions.

This study is an attempt to present the beginnings of the operational activities of the Security Office (Urząd Bezpieczeństwa, UB) against Polish Air Force airmen returning to the country. In the period immediately after the end of World War II, almost ¼ of Polish Air Force soldiers returned to Poland, trying to make a new beginning in the country. At that time, the interest of the UB in the aviators was incidental, and the activities of the security service were part of general spying on returning emigrants. They were of regional character and were not coordinated by the Ministries of Public Security until June 1948, when the intelligence activity of Lieutenant Pilot Władysław Śliwiński was discovered. Abstract:
Given the growing interest in human exploration of space, it is crucial to identify the effects of space conditions on biological processes. Here, we analyze the transcriptomic response of Caenorhabditis elegans to simulated microgravity and observe the maintained transcriptomic response after returning to ground conditions for four, eight, and twelve days. We show that 75% of the simulated microgravity-induced changes on gene expression persist after returning to ground conditions for four days while most of these changes are reverted after twelve days. Our results from integrative RNA-seq and mass spectrometry analyses suggest that simulated microgravity affects longevity-regulating insulin/IGF-1 and sphingolipid signaling pathways. Finally, we identified 118 genes that are commonly differentially expressed in simulated microgravity- and space-exposed worms. Overall, this work provides insight into the effect of microgravity on biological systems during and after exposure.

Creativity supports interest, imagination, empowerment, intrinsic motivation, and overall engagement. Satisfied employees, who are supported in their creativity, have increased performance, motivation, and commitment. Residential summer camp is a demanding 24-hour job in which camp counselors use creativity on a regular basis via lesson planning, teaching activities, resolving conflict, and living within close proximity to coworkers. The purpose of the current study was to explore organizational support for creativity among first-year and returning staff at the beginning and end of one season of employment. Camp counselors (n = 113) participated in the current study utilizing quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative analysis compared pretest data on creativity to posttest items using paired samples t-tests. First-year and returning counselors indicated significant decreases in perceptions of the camp organization valuing creativity. Counselors’ self-identification as a creative employee significantly decreased among returning employees. Qualitative data analysis produced 46 independent responses and 3 content areas describing barriers to creativity, including personal (intimidation, inexperience), structural (time/money), and camp traditions (status quo) barriers. Summer camps should prioritize support for creativity as a vital component needed for a positive work culture. Ultimately, a camp mission, culture, and training, which support creativity may empower counselors (of various experience levels) to create new ideas, camp traditions, and activities.

Abstract:
The social sustainability of rural areas is affected by the phenomenon of “brain drain” due to younger generations’ outward migration. Our study examines how structural and subjective factors determine the returning intentions of university students over time, before completion of their studies. We conducted a longitudinal, 3-wave survey between 2018 and 2020, involving 349 students (Mean age = 21.89; 63.04% women) and originating from a rural, remote region of Portugal. Using a Tobit panel model approach for data analysis, we found that participants whose mothers had a university degree, who expected higher income 3 years after studies completion, and who were more attached to the place where they were studying were less inclined to return to their native rural area. Conversely, those who were more attached to their rural origins were more likely to show an increased interest in returning over time. Our findings show that university students originating from rural areas and their returning intentions are affected by both structural and subjective factors, in a context of increasing individualisation of mobility intentions and decision making. Consequently, decision makers must start to include the sustained promotion of youths’ emotional bonds to rural areas as a vector of education policy packages in order to combat rural brain drain.

Abstract:
This research note is prepared to present an insight into the efficacy of the government's decision to open up the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) activities in non-containment zones during the second phase of COVID-19 lockdown restrictions imposed in April 2020. Though the intention was to provide an impetus to the rural economy by creating job opportunities for rural workers as well as for the returning seasonal migrants amid the COVID-19 crisis, 'whether the decision helped the returning migrants in securing a part of their lost income' is the question of interest. Our study finds that nearly 7.5 million seasonal migrant workers took refuge under MGNREGA during the lockdown, found work for around 23 days and secured about 28% of the income they used to earn daily in the pre-COVID-19 period. Abstract:
Two studies were conducted to better understand arboreta and community members' attitudes toward programming and benefits offered at arboreta and public gardens. The first study, a mail survey sent to arboreta members, included questions regarding what encourage them to become members and the services they value pertaining to their paid membership. The second study, an Internet survey of consumers residing within a 30-mile radius of the arboreta, also focused on interest in leisure activities and interest in traditional, gardening-related programs offered at the arboreta in an effort to understand what might increase membership. Over half of the members (62.5%) responded that they were “completely satisfied,” with only 3.4% selecting “neither dissatisfied nor satisfied” or some level of “dissatisfied.” The top three reasons that motivated members to join the arboretum's association included “benefits offered” (28.2%), followed by providing the “arboretum with financial support” (22.9%), and “to attend horticultural educational programs at a discounted rate” (22.6%). Interest level in gardening appeared to be greater among arboreta members compared with community members, on the basis of the percentage of both groups who self-identified with phrases such as “skilled and knowledgeable” and “enjoys spending time gardening.” Arboreta member interest in garden programming activities differed from those of local community respondents in all categories except “outdoor concerts and live performances,” “wine tasting and tours,” and “painting and drawing.” The one program/activity that appeared to be more of interest to community members than arboreta members was “cooking and entertaining,” with community members returning an average mean rating of 4.77 (1 = “very disinterested,” 7 = “very interested”) and arboreta members returning an average mean rating of 4.29. On the basis of the results of the survey and the strong interest expressed by both survey groups in program activities offered, arboreta staff should consider offering programming that appeals to both current members and community members at large and in an effort to assure a sustainable membership level.

Phillips, Judith Robertson. "The Impact of Declining Enrollment and Re-Careering on Community College Gerontology Programs." Innovation in Aging 5, Supplement_1 (2021): 145. http://dx.doi.org/10.1093/geroni/igab046.560.

Abstract:
Abstract According to Inside Higher Ed (2020), community college enrollment declined by 10.1% during the fall 2020 semester and this decline in enrollment continued into the spring 2021 semester for many community colleges. Gerontology programs within community colleges were among curriculums impacted by this downswing in enrollment. This presentation will discuss what this means for community college Gerontology programs across the United States in a time when the older adult population is rapidly increasing, and a qualified workforce is needed to fill the multiple fields serving this aging population. One area of discussion will be the number of returning adults who are re-careering into Gerontology, some because of the impact of a family caregiving situation while others are motivated to change careers because of their interest in the numerous career pathways available in the field of aging. Suggestions for encouraging and supporting these newly returning adults will be discussed.

Abstract:
This study researches the effect of destination image on the interest in revisiting the Kedung Ombo Reservoir tourist attraction using a quantitative approach. Data collection in this study was carried out using a questionnaire questionnaire distributed online to visitors to the tourist attraction. The sample size of this study was 100 respondents, and data processing was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics software version 21. The t-test analysis showed that partly cognitive and partly conative factors had a positive and significant effect on revisit interest, while Affective had a significant but weak effect. The implication of this study is that destination managers should prioritise improving cognitive and conative factors to increase visitors' interest in returning to Kedung Ombo Reservoir. The novelty of this study lies in its empirical findings, which contribute to the destination management literature regarding the influence of destination image on return visit interest.
