Abstract:
Bottled drinking water is widely advertised and sold in glass or, to a greater extent, plastic bottles with metallic or plastic caps, and is regularly drank by both children and adults. Mwanza City markets have many brands of bottled drinking water packed in PET and PC plastic bottles whose polymers may contain additives such as phthalates. Certain cancer types, hormone imbalances, and developmental delays have all been connected to these phthalates, which are harmful to human health. This study investigated, the effects of storage conditions, time spent in storage, and type of container polym

Introduction. According to a sociological survey of about 86% of Kharkiv (Ukraine) residents reuse PET bottles for a drinking water storing. This type of reuse of PET bottles isn't safe and the results of numerous research unequivocally confirm this assertion. The largest hazard of plastic bottles reuse for drinking water storage is biological film on the internally surface of bottle. This biofilm may contain pathogenic microorganisms which can migrate from biofilm to fresh water. Human, who drinking contaminated water, may drink microorganisms in common with this water. I

This paper manages utilization of waste plastic bottle containers as brick material. Plastic waste which is expanding step by step moves toward becoming high and also dirties the earth, particularly in high mountain towns and visitor trekking areas where no rubbish accumulation framework exists and furthermore which are disposed of or burned which prompts the pollution of land and air. The transfer of waste plastics is a greatest test, as continued reusing of PET bottles containers represent a potential risk of being changed to a cancer-causing material and just a little measure of PET bottles

Currently the estimation of each person goes through 170 plastic bags every year. More than 17 billion plastic bags are distributed for free by supermarkets or markets around the world. This research aims to reduce PET plastic waste by reusing it, plastic bottles can be used as a mixture in making paving blocks. The compressive strength test was carried out based on variations in the curing of PET plastic waste paving blocks, namely when the PET plastic waste paving blocks were 28 days old. PET plastic waste paving blocks have the best compressive strength value at Pb 5 of 8.8 MPa and meet SNI

- The organization of an economical system is based on a flux of energy and materials that receive from the external environment. In nature evolution move systems to a growing efficiency in circulating energy and materials to let them producing positive effects implementing the internal organization, to create new opportunities to move far from equilibrium, to create differences. But while natural systems operate cyclic processes, economical systems are linear, and using concentrated resources as input and producing wastes that spread in the environment in a way that make them no more reusable

The environmental pollution of plastic bottles is a serious dilemma among the scientist and researcher nowadays. One of the solutions that can reduce the pollution of plastic bottles are by recycling the plastic bottles material (PET) and reusing it as 3D printing material. The objective of this study was to fabricate filament wire using the r-PET/PC/MDI composites. Next, the fabricated filament wires were used to produce samples from 3D printing machine and conduct the mechanical test on fabricated samples to determine the its mechanical properties. Firstly, the sample preparation of r-PET/PC

The growing environmental concerns and proper disposal of construction and demolition waste is a challenge for construction industry. Now a days in our country Solid waste management is one of the major environmental concerns. A substantial growth in the consumption of plastic is observed all over the world in recent years. The use of demolition waste as a resource for recycling or recovery is gaining grounds in many countries. The proper selection and processing of demolition waste can be helpful in producing concrete. In construction industries, concrete masonry units are used commonly. The

As human communities grow larger and larger, the problem of waste management becomes one of urgent need that should be solved. Recycling and reusing of the waste materials is an efficient measure in management of the waste materials, which in addition to preventing the pollution, it conserves natural resources. Plastic bottles made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), constitutes a major fraction of household wastes. They are classified as non- biodegradable waste materials which are harmful for public health. So making use of PET in concrete production can be useful method to get rid of plast

Industrial activities in India are associated with significant amounts of non biodegradable solid waste, waste plastic being among the most prominent. This study involved 86 experiments and 254 tests to determine the efficiency of reusing waste plastic in the production of concrete. Thirty kilograms of waste plastic of fabriform shapes was used as a partial replacement for sand by 0 , 1 , 2 , 2.5 , 3 and 5 with 80 kg of concrete mixtures. All of the concrete mixtures were tested at room temperature. These tests include performing slump, compressive strength, cost analysis, and weight analysis.
