Abstract Objectives/Scope Field A is a brownfield that has been produced for 52 years under natural depletion via a total of 207 strings. The field comprises 7000 ft of reservoir section, multiple fault blocks and over 200 separate reservoir units has been produced to date. Despite the long period of production, the field recovery factor (RF) to date is only 29%. To improve the RF, a strategic assest value framing exercise was carried out to identify the additional subsurface opportunities i.e. infill well drilling, secondary recovery, late field life appraisal in underdeveloped fault blocks a

Abstract:
This paper evaluates the predictive capacity of a machine learning model based on Random Forests (RF), combined with Google Trends (GT) data, for nowcasting monthly inflation in Colombia. The proposed RF-GT model is trained using historical inflation data, macroeconomic indicators, and internet search activity. After optimizing the model’s hyperparameters through time series cross-validation, we assess its out-of-sample performance over the period 2023–2024. The results are benchmarked against traditional approaches, including SARIMA, Ridge, and Lasso regressions, as well as professional forec

Abstract:
The overall objective of the whole research was to elucidate the mechanisms by which LAB silage inoculants enhance ruminant performance. The results generated will permit the development of better silage inoculants that maximize both silage preservation and animal performance. For this one-year BARD feasibility study, the objectives were to: 1. determine whether lactic acid bacteria (LAB) used in inoculants for silage can survive in rumen fluid (RF) 2.select the inoculants that survived best, and 3. test whether LAB silage inoculants produce bacteriocins-like substances. Abstract:
Besides new material solutions, innovative processing technologies are key for working towards a more sustainable future for bead foam products. Compared to standard steam chest molding, innovative radio frequency (RF) welding shows great potential based on its direct energy input, which results in reduced energy consumption. Thus, the present study provides fundamental insights into the correlation of dielectric properties of expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (ETPU) bead foams with the processing behavior. While many pharmacokinetic models have been described, this QIBA Profile (DCE-MRI Quantification) specifically addresses the physiological parameter Ktrans derived from the Tofts or generalized kinetic model (GKM) (1), which is correlated with the vessel (surface/area product and permeability) and h

Part I: The purpose of the investigation was to develop the extraction process that was simple, practical and giving high yield. The maceration of dried powder of Garcinia mangostana fruit husk with ethyl acetate gave yellow crystalline powder of mangostin. The yield was calculated as 7.47%. The identification of the Garcinia mangostanahusk extract was carried out by thin-layer chromatography (TLC) and differential scanning calorimetry. The TLC of mangostin was done by using the alumina sheet and ethyl acetate: hexane (3:1) as mobile phase. The Rf value as compared with standard mangostin was

Abstract:
The body condition (BC) score is recognized in the dairy industry as an essential tool for managing the energy reserves of the dairy cow, which is essential for sustaining optimal and efficient production over several lactations. The current use of BC scoring depends on the accuracy of subjective visual estimates, and this limits its kusefulness as a management aid in the dairy industry. A measuring tool that would frequently provide objective data on the cow's body reserves would be a major contribution to efficient dairy herd management. Ultrasonic sensors have the potential to be developed
