Riobamba has areas with high vehicular influence. For the determination of nitrogen dioxide concentrations, passive samplers were used, which were placed at points throughout the domain. The concentrations obtained in the field were interpolated with the information generated with the model traffic emissions software, estimating the relationship between vehicular traffic and the presence of gas. The city of Riobamba captures for human consumption groundwater from melting glaciers, from seven wells in the foothills of the Chimborazo volcano. The objective is determine the percentage of existing microplastics in drinking water distribution system. Sixty two samples were collected, analysed with a cellulose filter and Nile red dye. Then observed in a stereoscope, obtaining presence in 12 samples of the 62 analysed. The results of the analysis show that there is a 19% presence of microplastics.

This paper focuses on the current situation of the availability and use of forestry waste generated in sawmills of the Ecuadorian interandina zone 3. It specifically highlights information about different types of waste, its volume, sales price, and final location. Through the stratification of the sample, 38, 25 and 19 surveys were carried out with loggers from the cantons of Riobamba, Ambato, and Latacunga with a level of reliability of 95%. Para ello, se ha considerado pertinente enfocarse en el aspecto socio-cultural de los migrantes venezolanos, poniendo énfasis en conocer si han transitado por los procesos de adaptación a través del uso contextual de varias teorías de asimilación. Una vez culminada con el proceso de recolección de los datos acerca de la migración venezolana, se pudo determinar que la gran mayoría de los migrantes venezolanos se han adaptado a las formas culturales de la ciudad.

This study was done by administering household surveys to 50% of the families in the three communities. Families were selected through stratified random sampling. This allowed us to determine how much families are exploiting species that have a significant level of production as well as whether they use them for a commercial activity or subsistence. With regard to cows, 60.40 ± 4.72% of families use them. Each family has an average of 1.68 ± 0.21 cows. Productive cows make up 36.9% of the above percentage, which is a majority.
