This thesis examines the impact of enterprise risk management (ERM) on firm performance. It also seeks to investigate whether this relationship is strengthened or weakened by the structure and composition of the risk committee. The sample comprises of 260 firm-year observations from FTSE-350 companies in the UK that have implemented ERM processes and established board-level risk committees during the study period from 2012 to 2015.
