A partir del estudio de la Historia de la vida de Lucio Anneo Séneca español (Madrid, 1625) de Juan Pablo Mártir Rizo y del Essai sur les règnes de Claude et de Néron et sur les moeurs et les écrits de Sénèque pour servir d’introduction à la lecture de ce philosophe (1782) de Denis Diderot, este artículo tiene como objetivo estudiar la relación entre las diferentes interpretaciones de los aspectos cruciales de la vida del personaje y el contexto político y filosófico en el que se conciben ambas obras. El análisis permite comprobar que, si bien Mártir Rizo desarrolla una reflexión sobre la naturaleza del poder en el marco del tacitismo, Diderot se centra en la libertad y la responsabilidad política del filósofo bajo un gobierno autocrático. Este artículo, asimismo, permite conocer ciertos aspectos de la obra de Mártir Rizo, autor poco tratado hasta ahora.

Este artículo estudia el Retrato del abate Antonio José Cavanilles, director del Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid (1801-1804), pintado por Salvador Rizo Blanco. Propone un análisis a partir de los fragmentos de la obra para examinar su estructura, componentes y personajes. La intención es comprenderla en el marco del contexto global de la ciencia ilustrada, de relaciones imperiales de poder y explotación, donde las láminas botánicas (representaciones visuales) y las nomenclaturas (convenciones científicas y prácticas conmemorativas) son herramientas que aseguran la clasificación y apropiación de la naturaleza. La pintura de Rizo se entiende como un retrato doble en el que se entrecruzan el reconocimiento del pintor y el retratado, y como un nodo donde distintas realidades se encuentran, se entretejen y se ramifican hacia el futuro.

Abstract:

El objetivo del estudio fue determinar los parámetros tecnológicos de la lana de razas ovina de lana y carne obtenidas por transferencia de embriones provenientes de Australia, y destinadas para la mejora de rebaños ovejeros de la sierra central del Perú. El estudio se llevó a cabo en el Centro Experimental Casaracra de la Universidad Nacional Daniel Alcides Carrión, Región Junín, Perú, a 3772 msnm. Las razas fueron East Friesian, Poll Dorset, Corriedale, Texel, Merino Dohne y Finnish Landrace. El modelo aditivo lineal incluyó los factores raza, sexo, edad y región corporal de muestreo como característica propia, mientras que las interacciones fueron consideradas residuales. Se encontró una asociación inversa el diámetro de fibra con la curvatura del rizo (-0.59) y con el factor de confort (-0.98), así como entre la curvatura del rizo con longitud de mecha (-0.43). La asociación fue directa entre el factor de confort con la curvatura del rizo (0.55). Las hembras (28.5±0.42 µm), los dientes de leche (26.4±0.95 µm) y Merino Dohne (18.5±0.45 µm) evidenciaron un menor diámetro de fibra en comparación a los machos, otros grupos etarios y razas, respectivamente. El Merino Dohne puede ser implementado en rebaños mejorados de finura media (Finnish Landrace, Corriedale), mientras el East Friesian, Texel, Poll Dorset y el cruce de Texel con Poll Dorset podrían ser introducidos en rebaños criollos.

Abstract:

Following the takeover of Srebrenica by Bosnian Serb forces on July 11, 1995, Rizo Mustafić and his family, as well as Hasan Nuhanović’s parents and brother, were sent away from the UN compound in Potočari, within the Srebrenica enclave, by the Dutch forces (Dutchbat) who were based there. Shortly thereafter, Bosnian Serb forces killed Rizo Mustafić, Ibro Nuhanović, Nasiha Nuhanović-Mehinagić, and Muhamed Nuhanović. Mustafić’s surviving wife and children, and Nuhanović’s other son (applicants) filed separate suits for incurred damages against the Netherlands, arguing that the Dutchbat acted wrongfully by sending their relatives away from the compound. On September 6, 2013, the Dutch Supreme Court issued its two judgments in the matter, holding that the Netherlands was responsible for the conduct of the Dutchbat and had acted wrongfully towards the applicants.

Abstract:

During June 2016, a postharvest survey of table grapes was carried out in the main fruit markets of Attock (33°46'07.9"N 72°21'43.0"E) and Jehlum (32°56'22.3"N 73°43'31.4"E) districts of Punjab Province. At the time of sampling, two cultivars (King’s Ruby and Perlette) were sampled at five different locations of both districts. Disease incidence % of bunches averaged 3 to 4 %. Some infected fruit appeared water-soaked, light brown and covered by fluffy mycelium consisting of erect sporangiophores with black sporangia on the top (Figure 1). Symptomatic tissue pieces were surface-sterilized with 0.1% NaOCl for 30 sec, rinsed three times with sterile distilled water, dried on filter paper for 45 sec and incubated on potato dextrose agar (PDA) at 25°C. After 1 day, mycelium on PDA was transferred to a fresh PDA plate and incubated at 25°C with a 12-h photoperiod. Within 3 days, white to yellow colonies with black aerial sporangia were formed (Figure 2). A total of 64 isolates were examined morphologically. Sporangiophores were erect, light brown and 623 to 3800 µm long. One to three rhizoids were observed opposite to each sporangiophore. Sporangia were black, globose to sub-globose, 91 to 124 μm in diameter. Columellae were conical to cylindrical and 86 to 187 μm long × 72 to 205 μm wide. Sporangiospores were hyaline to light dark grey, globose, ellipsoidal in shape and 6.8 to 12.4 × 3.6 to 12.5 μm (Figure 3). These features were identical to the description of Rhizopus stolonifer (Ehrenb.) Vuill (Liou et al., 2007). For molecular identification, the ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 region of two representative isolates (Rizo 05 and Rizo 07) was amplified with primers ITS1/ITS4 (White et al., 1990). Sequence comparison of two isolates Rizo05 and Rizo 07 (Accession no. MH348205 and MH356272) revealed 100% identity with previously reported isolates of Rhizopus stolonifer (Accession no. MG865992, KU729185, HM051076, and MF374842). To complete Koch’s postulates, 10-µl aliquots of spore suspensions (106 spores/ml) of Rizo 05 and Rizo 07 were pipetted onto three non-wounded and four wounded asymptomatic grape berries (seven berries per isolate), Sterile distilled water was applied to asymptomatic berries to serve as a negative control. Berries were incubated at 25 ± 2°C in sterile moisture chambers, and the experiment was conducted twice (Ghuffar et al., 2018). Black to light brown, fluffy mycelium with the original symptoms was observed on both wounded and non-wounded inoculated berries after 3 days, whereas no symptoms were recorded on the negative control (Figure 4). The morphology of the fungus that was re-isolated from each of the inoculated berries was identical to that of the original cultures. Previously, Rhizopus stolonifer has been reported as a pathogen on grapes in Chile (Latorre et al., 2002). To our knowledge, this is the first report of Rhizopus stolonifer causing bunch rot of grapes in Pakistan. This finding will help to plan effective disease management strategies against Rhizopus rot of grapes in Pakistan.

Abstract:

O trabalho foi realizado em soja nos anos agrícolas de 1996/97, 1997/98 e 2000/01, objetivando avaliar a eficiência de formulações de inoculantes comerciais, isolados e associados a fertilizantes foliares à base de Mo e Co, em área de populações estabelecidas de Bradyrhizobium. Os experimentos foram instalados em Cruz Alta (RS), em áreas sob sistema plantio direto de 8 a 12 anos. No ano agrícola 1996/97, foram usados os tratamentos: testemunha sem inoculação; 200 kg ha-1 de N, parcelados; inoculante Nitragin Cell-Tech por 50 ou 80 kg de semente, com ou sem fungicida, e com ou sem fertilizante foliar Basfoliar Co Mol; inoculante Emerge Pó; inoculante Emerge PM e Basfoliar Co Mol. Em 1997/98, além da testemunha sem inoculação, utilizaram-se os inoculantes Emerge Pó; Emerge PM; Nitragin Cell-Tech e Rizo-liq, Nitragin Cell-Tech + Basfoliar Co Mol e Basfoliar Co Mol. No ano agrícola 2000/2001, os tratamentos foram: testemunha sem inoculação; 200 kg ha-1 de N, parcelados; inoculante turfoso padrão; Emerge PM; Rizo-liq Plus; Rizo-liq Plus + fertilizante foliar Rizomicro; Rizomicro; Gelfix; Gelfix + fertilizante foliar CoMofix; Rhizofix; Rhizofix + CoMofix; CoMofix e inoculante Bionutri. Nos três anos agrícolas avaliados, não houve diferenças entre os tratamentos para matéria seca de raízes, teor de N total no grão e produtividade de grãos. Somente no ano agrícola 1997/98, a matéria seca da parte aérea apresentou diferença entre os tratamentos, com destaque para Nitragin Cell-Tech + Basfoliar Co Mol. O tratamento com 200 kg ha-1 de N reduziu a massa de nódulos. As plantas de soja não responderam à prática da inoculação, porque, provavelmente, as populações de Bradyrhizobium existentes no solo já apresentavam estirpes eficientes e em número adequado.

In November 1490, Bernardino Rizo da Novara issued the earliest printed anonymous portolano. Several months later, a print privilege was issued at the request of Andrea Badoer, a merchant. With the support of a newly published database of Venetian privileges, it is contended that Badoer sponsored the print and possibly provided the text of the portolano.

The article examines the literary and aesthetic value of the work "Firdavsu-l Iqbol", begun by Shermuhammad Munis, then continued and completed by Muhammad Rizo Agahi. Although historical events are described, it is analyzed that this work has a high artistic value in terms of the fact that it is written on the basis of saj, the style of poetic expression, the examples of poems of different genres. It has been scientifically proven that "Firdasu-l-Iqbol", as a perfect example of Uzbek literary and historical prose, served as a unique creative experiment for Agahi's works of this type.

Introducción: Las comunidades de macroinvertebrados son afectadas simultáneamente por la calidad del agua y las características físicas del hábitat acuático, complicando su uso en la bioindicación. Objetivo: Determinar cuáles variables del hábitat condicionan la comunidad de macroinvertebrados acuáticos en algunas corrientes (quebradas) de montaña del Oriente antioqueño (Colombia). Métodos: El muestreo se realizó en febrero 2021 (periodo de transición seco-lluvia), para evaluar variables físicas y químicas en tres tipos de mesohábitats: rápidos, rizos y pozas en corrientes con coberturas vegetales contrastantes. Los macroinvertebrados fueron recolectados en diez sitios de muestreo con red tipo net, pantalla y manual, y preservados en etanol al 70 %. Resultados: Se recolectaron 4 484 macroinvertebrados (16 órdenes, 46 familias y 75 géneros). El mesohábitat rizo presentó mayores valores de diversidad y abundancia, mientras las pozas presentaron los menores. Hubo diferencias en la concentración de oxígeno, profundidad, velocidad y abundancia de macroinvertebrados entre mesohábitats. Las pozas defirieron de los otros mesohábitats en profundidad, velocidad, así como en la composición, abundancia y riqueza de macroinvertebrados, y fue el hábitat de menor preferencia. Conclusión: La velocidad, profundidad y concentración de oxígeno disuelto, desempeñan un papel muy importante en el establecimiento de las comunidades de macroinvertebrados en los diferentes mesohábitats. En el mismo tipo de mesohábitat, la calidad de la cobertura vegetal determinó la diversidad y abundancia de esta comunidad.

Abstract:

El anarquismo, como otros movimientos político-sociales, se sirvió a menudo de la concisión y la brevedad en sus escritos: folletos, colecciones divulgativas, periódicos y otras publicaciones periódicas puestas al servicio del Ideal, concepto que, en la ideología anarquista, remite a la consecución de una meta social completa y compleja. Dentro de ella, la educación, información y formación del proletariado es uno de los objetivos más importantes e inmediatos. Hay que señalar, además, los límites temporales de la producción editorial anarquista, cuyo inicio se sitúa comúnmente en 1880 (Litvak, 1981) y que se extiende hasta el final de la guerra civil española. Aunque los límites hispanoamericanos pueden ampliarse unos años, en ambos lados del Atlántico nos encontraremos ante un contexto sociohistórico convulso e intenso que determinará las condiciones en las que se lleva a cabo la producción editorial del movimiento. Así, el objetivo educativo y la premura de las circunstancias dejarán una muy extensa producción literaria y textual determinada por la necesidad de información y divulgación en formato breve y de producción y distribución rápidas y fáciles. La red de distribución anarquista, muy amplia y efectiva, transporta y entrega los textos que se publican por iniciativa de organizaciones, sociedades e incluso personas concretas. Iniciativas individuales de gran alcance y ambición, como a la que nos enfrentaremos en este artículo: la colección Divulgación Sociológica [1931], dirigida y casi completamente escrita por el ingeniero español Alfonso Martínez Rizo (1877-1951), que se sirve de su experiencia y conocimiento para emprender, en menos de un año, la publicación de veinticinco folletos de carácter divulgativo sobre temas históricos, de actualidad y de sociología de la época. Tanto la figura de Alfonso Martínez Rizo como su prolífica escritura han sido pocas veces abordados por la crítica, por ello, este estudio sirve también al afán reivindicador de su persona, tanto en el terreno histórico como en el que se refiere al mundo literario-cultural del movimiento anarquista hispánico a principios del siglo XX.
