Abstract:
The sacrificial offering represents one of the behaviors ab immemorabile most anthropologically rooted in all the religious practices of mankind. The ancient Jewish tradition, in the beginning of creation myths, reports that Cain already presented to God the offering of the fruits of earth (cf. Gn 4,3). However, along with this practice also coexisted the primitive question of the rupture between divine and human, sacred and profane sphere, spiritual and carnal. Jesus, in line with the prophetic tradition, definitively solves this impasse by presenting the daily existence, lived in obedience to God and love of neighbor, as the greatest cultic attitude of man. It was up apostle Paul, for the first time, to define this new form of worship inaugurated by Jesus, through the greek expression 􀈜􀈠􀈖􀈚􀈛􀩽􀈞 􀈜α􀄲􀈡􀄰􀈓α􀈞, unique in all sacred scripture, heir of a vast theological and religious sense from judaism and hellenism and situated in the pericope of Rm 12,1-2. Thus, the research has as it purpose to presenting the most approximate meaning of that intended by Paul in using this expression, through a meticulous exegetical (chapter 1) and theological study (chapters 2 and 3) of this pauline pericope, one of the most important of all New Testament.

Abstract:
This chapter outlines the main features of the extensive new transparency regime which will apply to trading in a wide range of asset classes under MiFIR. By contrast with MiFID I, which limited transparency requirements to the equity markets and which contained extensive exemptions and waivers, MiFIR adopts a maximalist approach to transparency. The most extensive transparency requirements apply to the three forms of ‘trading venue’ for multilateral trading which are established under the MiFID II/MiFIR venue classification system (RM, MTF and OTF). Bilateral/OTC trading between counterparties is subject only to post-trade transparency requirements. Overall, MiFIR’s regulatory design has been shaped by a driving concern to protect liquidity, particularly in non-equity asset classes. Indeed, exemptions, waivers, suspensions, and calibrations, designed to protect liquidity, are a recurring feature of the new transparency regime.

Abstract:
A multi-case study study has been conducted on five grown sports organizations to realize how the organizations have been utilizing various Relationship Marketing (RM) indicators in order to position their image in their target markets. Based on various existing and emergent Stakeholder Causal Scope (SCS) and relevant RM indicator(s), the organizations differentiate their corporate profile or market offering in a way that conveys a central idea relating to their stakeholder relationship value and relevant market positioning. 12 RM indicators, four market positioning dimensions, and subsequent existing and emerging differentiation variables are described in this chapter. Underlying the relevant SCS, the organizations utilize these RM indicators and differentiation variables to design their market offerings in order to position their corporate or market offerings’ image in their target markets. The RM-centred market positioning initiatives of the sports organizations emerge as viable across industries and markets.

Abstract:
Piping elbows under bending moment are vulnerable to cracking at crown. The structural integrity assessment requires evaluation of J-integral. The J-integral values for elbows with axial part-through internal crack at crown under in-plane bending moment are limited in open literature. This paper presents the J-integral results of a thick and thin, 90-degree, long radius elbow subjected to in-plane opening bending moment based on number of finite element analyses covering different crack configurations. The non-linear elastic-plastic finite element analyses were performed using WARP3D software. Both geometrical and material nonlinearity were considered in the study. The geometry considered were for Rm/t = 5, and 12 with ratio of crack depth to wall thickness, a/t = 0.15, 0.25, 0.5 and 0.75 and ratio of crack length to crack depth, 2c/a = 6, 8, 10 and 12.

Abstract:
Blood is hypercoagulable following GI haemorrhage [1], and vascular thrombosis has been reported to be the main cause of death [2]. To study the relationship between coagulation and clinical outcome, Impedance Clotting Time (ICT) wac measured daily using the Biobridge [1] and clinical outcome prospectively recorded in 125 patients with acute severe GI haemorrhage.Mean (±se mean) ICT on admission was markedly shortened at 4.8±0.2 mins (normal range 8-12 mins) (p<0.001, t-Cest). Sixty patients received blood transfusion within 24 hours resulting in significantly prolonged ICT of 6.2±0.4 mins compared to 4.0±0.3 mins in the 56 not transfused (p<0.01). In 23 patients who rebled, the ICT at 24 hours of 6.7±0.4 mins demonstrated reduced hypercoagulability. Twenty of these 23 patients had bee:: transfused prior to rebleeding, a significantly greater proportion than in those who did not rebleed (p<0.00l). Six patients died, 3 of myocardial infarction, 1 of stroke, and 2 of continued haemorrhage. Mean ICT in the 4 patients dying from thrombotic vascular disease was 2.3±0.1 mins although 2 had also rebled.Clinical outcome in GI haemorrhage is strongly related to coagulation changes. The main cause of death was thrombotic vascular disease.1. Blair SD, Janvrin SB, McCollum CN, Greenhalgh RM. The effect of early blood transfusion on gastrointectinal haemorrhage.
