In miR-197 mimic-transfected cells, EV71 replication was inhibited, whereas the internal ribosome entry site (IRES) activity was decreased in EV71 strains with or without predicted miR-197 target sites, indicating that miR-197 targets host proteins to modulate viral replication. Purpose Building supply chain (SC) resilience is crucial for business continuity given the ever-changing environmental conditions. Based on the resource orchestration and organizational culture theories, the purpose of this paper is to investigate the business value of SC resilience with the consideration of the roles of internal integration (II) and external integration (EI), risk management culture (RMC) and SC flexibility (SCF). Design/methodology/approach This study investigates how RMC, SCF and intra and interorganizational integration affect the performance of SC resilience. It collects

The root-knot nematode (RKN) Meloidogyne incognita can cause severe crop loss in economically important Prunus species like peach (P. persica), almond (P. communis), plum (P. salicina), and apricot (P. armeniaca). Some peach rootstock, including Nemaguard (P. persica), Nemared (P. persica), and Myrobalan plum (P. cerasifera), display significant resistance to RKN. We present a genetic linkage map constructed by using simple sequence repeat (SSR) and sequence-related amplified polymorphism (SRAP) for a peach backcross population (190 individuals) of RKN-resistant ‘Honggengansutao’ (P. kansuensi

A wide variety of phosphonium ionic liquids containing fluorous ponytails Rfn (Rfn = –(CF2)n–1CF3; n = 4, 6, 10) are synthesized by the reaction of Rfn-(CH2)2-I with trialkylphosphines (R3P; R = Me, nBu, nOct). The efficacy of multiple metathetical routes to anion exchange have been investigated, thus the corresponding BF4–, PF6–, tosylate (OTs–) and triflate (OTf–) derivatives have also been prepared. All compounds have been comprehensively characterized by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, ESI-MS, DSC, and TGA/SDTA, and in the case of [Me3PCH2CH2Rf4][I] by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Thes

AbstractSince 1967, despite international legal restrictions, Israel has sought to annex Eastern Jerusalem. Fifty-one years later, it publicly declared in its Nation State Law: “Jerusalem, complete and united, is the capital of Israel.” In the West Bank, Israel initiated on the ground changes that furthered annexation without formally declaring any part of it as annexed. For decades, Al-Haq has documented the gradual encroachment of occupation by successive Israeli administrations. And yet the Palestinian leadership failed to successfully utilize the law to support its case. Nor could the 190

A common rearrangement reaction for gas-phase proton-bound molecular pairs corresponds to an internal SN2 reaction that results in the loss of a small neutral molecule. For pairs (RCN)(ROH)H+, the energies of the two transition states (TSa and TSb) and the intermediate complex (IC) in the isomerization reaction (relative to the proton-bound pair, in kJ mol–1) can be estimated using the following relationships: E(TSa) = 87 – 9(n) – 0.33(ΔPA), E(IC) = 83 – 9(n) – 0.33(ΔPA), and E(TSb) = 107 – 9(n) – 0.10(ΔPA), where 87, 83, and 107 kJ mol–1 are the values for (CH3CN)(CH3OH)H+.
