Abstract:

Este artículo critica la transformación de los derechos humanos, siguiendo la línea de Roger Scruton, quien los ve hoy como una suerte de “religión secular” que ha perdido sus fundamentos en la ley natural. Lo que originalmente eran salvaguardas negativas contra el poder estatal se ha convertido en exigencias de acciones positivas —a menudo contradictorias— que, en lugar de acotar al Estado, lo refuerzan.
