Barockes Heldentum – das Thema läßt ein kulturgeschichtliches Panorama erwarten, das Heldenfigurationen in den unterschiedlichsten Kontexten, Künsten und Diskursen vorführt. Das Heroische gilt für das angesprochene Zeitalter als ein exemplarisches Rollenmodell, das mit der Aufklärung der fundamentalen Kritik verfällt. Vorführen ließe sich also ein kulturhistorisch breites Spektrum, das die Ausdrucksformen des Heroischen im Rahmen der barocken Repräsentationskultur entfaltete, in der Literatur, in den bildenden Künsten, auf sämtlichen Feldern der Herrschaftsrepräsentation. Martin Disselkamp thematisiert mit seiner Berliner Habilitationsschrift Barockheroismus ein Konzept von epochaler Bedeutung, doch schlägt er einen anderen als den skizzierten Weg ein. Er fragt nicht so sehr nach der Vielfalt kultureller Ausdrucksweisen als nach dem historischen Funktionszusammenhang, nach der „Funktions- und Darstellungslogik von Größenbildern“ (S. 19).

Abstract:
Ziel des vorliegenden Beitrages ist, die Gütekriterien eines Instruments zur Erfassung von ethischer Führung zu überprüfen. Ausgangspunkt war die Übersetzung der Ethical Leadership Scale von Brown, Trevino und Harrison (2005) ins Deutsche (ELS-D). Anschließend wurde anhand dreier Stichproben (N1 = 100, N2 = 119, N3 = 507) die faktorielle Binnenstruktur des Instrumentes überprüft. Es ergaben sich zwei Faktoren (ethische Mitarbeiterführung und ethisches Rollenmodell). Es zeigten sich konvergente Validitäten zwischen den Skalen ethischer Führung und transformationaler, transaktionaler, mitarbeiter- und aufgabenorientierter Führung (positive Korrelationen) sowie Laissez-faire (negative Korrelation). Demgegenüber waren die Skalen ethischer Führung erwartungskonform überwiegend unabhängig vom Alter der geführten Mitarbeiter und vom Geschlecht der Führungskraft. Hohe Zusammenhänge zwischen ethischer Führung und der Arbeitszufriedenheit sowie dem Commitment der Mitarbeiter werden als Belege für die Konstruktvalidität gewertet. Die interne Konsistenz der ELS-D-Skalen war in allen drei empirischen Studien gut. Insgesamt steht mit der hier vorgestellten deutschen Adaptation der ELS ein ökonomisches Instrument mit ansprechenden Gütekriterien für den Einsatz bereit.

Zusammenfassung Die organisationale Ausgestaltung von regionalen Innovationssystemen ist vielschichtig und resultiert nicht nur aus den spezifischen Bedingungen vor Ort, sondern insbesondere aus der Netzwerkarbeit einzelner Akteure. Eine wichtige Rolle nehmen hierbei die regionalen Wirtschaftsförderungen ein, deren Aufgabenportfolio in der Regel auch die Initiierung und Begleitung von Innovationsprozessen umfasst. Die entsprechende Umsetzung erfolgt in der Praxis häufig durch ein Zusammenspiel von Wirtschaftsförderern und Innovationsberatern. Diese verfügen jeweils über engmaschige Netzwerke mit potenziellen Innovationspartnern und können somit vor allem kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen eine wichtige Hilfestellung im Innovationsprozess bieten. Um diese Netzwerkkompetenz konzeptionell zu rahmen, hat sich in der betriebswirtschaftlichen Innovationsforschung das Rollenmodell des Beziehungspromotors etabliert. Der Beitrag analysiert am Beispiel von drei nordwestdeutschen Regionen, auf welche Art und Weise die verantwortlichen Wirtschaftsförderer und Innovationsberater ihre Rolle als Beziehungspromotoren ausfüllen und wie sich die daraus resultierenden strategischen Ansätze in der Konfiguration der jeweiligen Innovationssysteme niederschlagen. Es kann gezeigt werden, dass die drei untersuchten Regionen – Landkreis Oldenburg, Oldenburger Münsterland, Elbe-Weser-Region – auf unterschiedliche strategische Ansätze zurückgreifen, die im Hinblick auf Raumbezug, Akteursspektrum und Vernetzungsgrad differieren. Grundsätzlich ist die Ausgestaltung der regionalen Innovationssysteme in hohem Maße von den Machtquellen der Promotoren abhängig. Neben den aus der Literatur abgeleiteten typischen Machtquellen – Sozialkompetenz, Netzwerkwissen, Beziehungsportfolio – lässt sich nach der Analyse der drei Fallbeispiele auch die Reputation eines Beziehungspromotors als wichtige Ressource identifizieren.

Der Wandel vom produzierenden Unternehmen hin zu einem serviceorientierten Unternehmen beschleunigt sich durch die zunehmende Digitalisierung. Deshalb wird eine methodische sowie technische Unterstützung für ein integriertes Management des Service Lifecycles zunehmend mehr benötigt. Nach Analyse des aktuellen Standes der Forschung im Gebiet Service Engineering präsentiert der Fachbeitrag einen Ansatz für ein Smart Service Lifecycle Management. Es besteht aus den drei Ebenen Geschäftsmodell, Smart Service Management und Netzwerkmanagement. In diesen drei Ebenen finden sich insgesamt 28 Entwicklungsprozessmodule, die sich modular konfigurieren lassen. Darüber hinaus besteht ein Rollenmodell, das die Anwendbarkeit in der Unternehmenspraxis erleichtert. Die Art und Weise der Konfigurierbarkeit wird anhand eines produzierenden Unternehmens aus der Konsumgüterbranche validiert.   Servitization involves all the aspects of the enterprise, which therefore needs methodological and technical support concerning an integrated development and management of services. The requirements of a Service Lifecycle Management were based on expert interviews with service experts from German manufacturing companies. Based on this and the analysis of the state of the art of the Service Engineering, the article presents a framework of a Smart Lifecycle Management. It consists of three following parts: Business Modell Engineering, Smart Service Management and Network Management. The framework has a process modell covering 28 developing modules and a role modell. How to use the framework is validated by a use case.

Abstract:
This paper analyzes the association between the duration of maternity leave and the division of housework, using a representative sample of Bavarian mothers who gave birth to their first child in 2007 under the new parenting benefit policy of the German federal government. The results show that mothers re-entering the labor market after a maximum break of 12 months after accouchement, which is in accordance with the intention of the parenting benefit policy, report more egalitarian housework arrangements than mothers with longer employment breaks. Yet, all women report a rather traditional division of labor with a relatively low contribution of their partners. Our finding that women who are highly educated and disapprove of traditional family roles report more egalitarian housework patterns is in line with previous research. Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag untersucht, ob unterschiedlich lange Erwerbsunterbrechungen von Müttern nach dem Übergang zur Erstelternschaft einen Einfluss auf die Aufteilung der Hausarbeit in Paarbeziehungen haben. Für die empirischen Analysen werden Daten einer repräsentativen Querschnittstudie über bayerische Mütter verwendet, die im Jahr 2007 ihr erstes Kind bekamen und für die damit das neue Elterngeldgesetz der Bundesregierung galt. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass Mütter, die frühzeitig den Wiedereinstieg in den Beruf realisieren und entsprechend den Anreizen des neuen Elterngeldgesetzes maximal für ein Jahr ihre Erwerbstätigkeit unterbrechen, ein partnerschaftlicheres Modell der Arbeitsteilung im Haushalt praktizieren als Mütter, die eine längere berufliche Pause einlegen. Dennoch ist nach wie vor ein traditionell ausgerichtetes Rollenmodell bei den untersuchten Paaren dominant, so dass sich der Beitrag der Väter zur Hausarbeit insgesamt auf einem niedrigen Niveau bewegt. Im Einklang mit anderen Studien steht der Befund, dass eine hohe Bildung und eine Abkehr von traditionellen Einstellungen eine partnerschaftlichere Hausarbeitsteilung begünstigen.

Traditional modeling approaches and information systems assume static entities that represent all information and attributes at once. However, due to the evolution of information systems to increasingly context-aware and self-adaptive systems, this assumption no longer holds. To cope with the required flexibility, the role concept was introduced. Although researchers have proposed several role modeling approaches, they usually neglect the contextual characteristics of roles and their representation in database management systems. Unfortunately, these systems do not rely on a conceptual model of an information system, rather they model this information by their own means leading to transformation and maintenance overhead. So far, the challenges posed by dynamic complex entities, their first class implementation, and their contextual characteristics lack detailed investigations in the area of database management systems. Hence, this paper, presents an approach that ties a conceptual role-based data model and its database implementation together, to directly represent the information modeled conceptually inside a database management system. In particular, we propose a formal database model to describe roles and their contextual information in compartments. Moreover, to provide a context-dependent role-based database interface, we extend RSQL by compartments. Finally, we introduce RSQL Result Net to preserve the contextual role semantics as well as enable users and applications to both iterate and navigate over results produced by RSQL. In sum, these means allow for a coherent design of more dynamic, complex software systems.

Abstract:
Database Management Systems (DBMS) are used by software applications, to store, manipulate, and retrieve large sets of data. However, the requirements of current software systems pose various challenges to established DBMS. First, most software systems organize their data by means of objects rather than relations leading to increased maintenance, redundancy, and transformation overhead when persisting objects to relational databases. Second, complex objects are separated into several objects resulting in Object Schizophrenia and hard to persist Distributed State. Last but not least, current software systems have to cope with increased complexity and changes. These challenges have lead to a general paradigm shift in the development of software systems. Unfortunately, classical DBMS will become intractable, if they are not adapted to the new requirements imposed by these software systems. As a result, we propose an extension of DBMS with roles to represent complex objects within a relational database and support the exibility required by current software systems. To achieve this goal, we introduces RSQL, an extension to SQL with the concept of objects playing roles when interacting with other objects. Additionally, we present a formal model for the logical representation of roles in the extended DBMS.

Abstract:
Role-based modeling has been investigated for over 35 years as a promising paradigm to model complex, dynamic systems. Although current software systems are characterized by increasing complexity and context-dependence, all this research had almost no influence on current software development practice, still being discussed in recent literature. One reason for this is the lack of a coherent, comprehensive, readily applicable notion of roles. Researchers focused either on relational roles or context-dependent roles rather then combining both natures. Currently, there is no role-based modeling language sufficiently incorporating both the relational and context-dependent nature of roles together with the various proposed constraints. Hence, this paper formalizes a full-fledged role-based modeling language supporting both natures. To show its sufficiency and adequacy, a real world example is employed.
