Abstract Queen Elisabeth - Carmen Sylva - the poet princess represented for the Romanian people a pathfinder. Through her youth, literary talent, goodwill and kindness, she brought Romania on a new scale among the European societies. Her marriage to prince Carol meant for the princess assuming a new choice, a choice which would be for Romania the beginning of a golden era. Elisabeth, Queen of Romania brought with her the subtleties of German culture, subtleties which imposed themselves among the Romanian elite society and which created a new Romanian state, stronger and more independent.

The Romanian i ntelligence services have closely monitored the Soviet forces that occupied Bessarabia and northern Bukovina in June-July 1940. Between September 1940 and June 1941, special attention was paid to Soviet aviation (aerodromes, aviation units, types of aircraft, doctrine, etc.) located on Romania's borders. On June 22, 1941, when the conflict between Germany and allies (including Romania) and the USSR began, the Romanian army had pertinent information about the Soviet armies in Bessarabia and Bukovina, especially about the air force. Abstract:
Ukraine recognizes Romanian and Moldovan as distinct minority languages, even though the official language of the Republic of Moldova is Romanian. This distinction between Romanian and Moldovan is not merely a symbolic matter, it has practical, negative consequences for members of the minority communities concerned. Since the 1990s, Ukrainian-Romanian relations have been affected by mutual distrust rooted in historical resentments, stereotypes, and prejudice at the level of both political elites and the general public. Moldova and Ukraine have experienced ups and downs in their bilateral relat
