Abstract:
Epigenetic reprogramming is required for proper regulation of gene expression in eukaryotic organisms. In Arabidopsis, active DNA demethylation is crucial for seed viability, pollen function, and successful reproduction. The DEMETER (DME) DNA glycosylase initiates localized DNA demethylation in vegetative and central cells, so-called companion cells that are adjacent to sperm and egg gametes, respectively. In rice, the central cell genome displays local DNA hypomethylation, suggesting that active DNA demethylation also occurs in rice; however, the enzyme responsible for this process is unknown. One candidate is the rice REPRESSOR OF SILENCING1a (ROS1a) gene, which is related to DME and is essential for rice seed viability and pollen function. Here, we report genome-wide analyses of DNA methylation in wild-type and ros1a mutant sperm and vegetative cells. We find that the rice vegetative cell genome is locally hypomethylated compared with sperm by a process that requires ROS1a activity. We show that many ROS1a target sequences in the vegetative cell are hypomethylated in the rice central cell, suggesting that ROS1a also demethylates the central cell genome. Similar to Arabidopsis, we show that sperm non-CG methylation is indirectly promoted by DNA demethylation in the vegetative cell. These results reveal that DNA glycosylase-mediated DNA demethylation processes are conserved in Arabidopsis and rice, plant species that diverged 150 million years ago. Finally, although global non-CG methylation levels of sperm and egg differ, the maternal and paternal embryo genomes show similar non-CG methylation levels, suggesting that rice gamete genomes undergo dynamic DNA methylation reprogramming after cell fusion.

Antecedentes y Objetivos: Delastria rosea es un hongo de hábito hipogeo, se caracteriza por presentar una gleba rosa y esporas globosas con ornamentación reticulada. Se conocía hasta la fecha del norte de África, sur de Europa y California en Estados Unidos de América. El objetivo del presente trabajo es registrar D. rosea para la micobiota mexicana.Métodos: Se realizaron recolectas siguiendo las recomendaciones para el estudio de los hongos hipogeos. El material estudiado proviene de bosque mesófilo de montaña del estado de Michoacán, México.Resultados clave: Se describe Delastria rosea para la micobiota mexicana; se discute las semejanzas y diferencias con las descripciones europeas y norteamericanas.Conclusiones: Se considera que los ejemplares estudiados corresponden a Delastria rosea, a pesar de las diferencias que presentan con las descripciones europeas y norteamericanas.

Abstrak: Artikel ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui bagaiamana pemakaian morfem terikat dan morfem bebas pada lirik lagu karya rossa dalam album Yang Terpilih sebagai alternatif bahan ajar di sekolah menengah atas. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah morfologi bahasa Indonesia. penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menguraikan hasil dalam bentuk kata-kata. Menggunakan 14 lirik lagu karya Rosaa sebagai sumber data. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan ditemukan ada 644 data yang di dalamnya terdapat morfem terikat(prefiks, infiks, sufiks, dan konfiks) dan morfem bebas. Berkaitan dengan 3 aspek penting dalam pemilihan bahan ajar, lirik lagu karya Rossa dalam album Yang Terpiih telah memenuhi kriteria bahan ajar yang baik. Oleh karena itu, lirik lagu ini layak dijadikan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar bagi peserta didik di SMA.

Методами OMI-анализа изучена пространственная структура почвенной фауны урбоземаботанического сада Днепропетровского университета. Экологические условия в месте расположения полигона являются типично лесными, имеют мезотрофный и мезофильный облик, что способствует высокому уровню обилия почвенной мезофауны (341,6 экз./м2). Дождевые черви являются многочисленной и разнообразной группой сапрофагов в пределах полигона и представлены 5 видами. Доминантом является Aporrectodea caliginosa trapezoides (Duges, 1828). К экологической группе эндогейных червей относятся A. rosea rosea (Savigny, 1826) и Octolasion lacteum (Oerley, 1885), к эпигейным – Lumbricus rubellus Hoffmeister, 1843, к норным – Octodrilus transpadanus (Rosa, 1884). В экологической структуре животного населения почвы преобладают пратанты, гигрофилы, мезотрофоценоморфы, эндогейные топоморфы, сапрофаги. Твердость почвы в диапазоне 0–50 см, электропроводность, мощность подстилки и высота травостоя играют важную роль в структурировании экологической ниши сообщества мезопедобионтов. Основными трендами структуры животного населения почвенной мезофауны являются экотонный эффект и вариабельность эдафических свойств, обусловленная особенностями растительного покрова.

Abstract:
Present study attempted to emphasize on the drug-resistance attribute of the previously isolated microorganisms within the commonly available flowers including Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, Ixora coccinea, Ipomoea digitata, Allamanda cathartica, Nymphaea nouchali, Vinca rosea, Rosa kordesii, Gladiolus hybrid, Acmella oleracea, Nyctanthes arbor-tristis and Pseudomussaenda flava, randomly collected from different areas in Dhaka city, Bangladesh. Conventional agar well diffusion method was applied to examine the antibiogram of the isolates (Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp., Pseudomonas spp., and Staphylococcus spp.) against different drugs. Subsequently the anti-bacterial traits of 6 flowers such as Rosa kordesii, Gladiolus hybrid, Acmella oleracea, Nymphaea nouchali (Water lily), Hibiscus rosa- sinensis (Jaba), Ixora coccinea (Rangan) were demonstrated through broth micro-dilution methods. Pseudomonas spp. showed sensitivity against almost 42% tested drugs. Conversely, Staphylococcus spp. (83%) and Klebsiella spp. (75%) revealed resistance against highest number of drugs. Among all the pathogens, E coli showed the highest sensitivity (50%) against all the tested antibiotics. All the isolated bacteria were found to be multi-drug resistant against commonly used antibiotics. Finally six (6) samples unveiled anti-bacterial features against 8 laboratory strains with their MIC concentrations up to 0.2 mg/mL.Stamford Journal of Microbiology, Vol.5(1) 2015: 5-8

Estando consciente de la importancia de mantener la claridad ante el lector-espectador para facilitar la comprensión del presente proyecto de creación visual, es que he formulado el desarrollo de esta memoria en dos ejes centrales: uno teórico y otro visual; para ello he intentado ser lo más rigurosa posible y sintetizar de forma clara el proceso de aprendizaje personal que ha conllevado al descubrimiento de mi quehacer como artista visual, específicamente ligado al campo de la orfebrería y el dibujo.

Este estudo busca evidenciar a natureza utópica de A Rosa do Povo, explorando algumas das tensões que envolvem o processo de constituição do sujeito lírico, dentre as quais destaco: a problemática da projeção do sujeito para o espaço público da rua, em poemas que se tornam longos para dar lugar às diferentes vozes da coletividade, face ao resguardo de certa autonomia descompromissada do eu poético; as relações entre lírica e sociedade, diante das exigências político-sociais da década de 1940. Essas tensões são lidas sob o enfoque do conceito da utopia, que possibilita verificar, em cada poema analisado, uma mensagem poética específica, a um só tempo crítica e esperançosa. Ainda que cada composição seja lida como fragmento autônomo, os poemas também se articulam no conjunto da obra, simbolizada pela rosa. A interpretação dessa imagem, que se repete ao longo do livro e condensa a sua multiplicidade temática, permite ao leitor uma visão do todo. Procuramos demonstrar como esse processo de construção poética acaba por evidenciar também o uso simbólico de operações alquímicas, de modo que se possa compreender a obra como uma espécie de utopia alquimista, inserida que está num processo ininterrupto de materialização e desconstrução do canto, a refletir a concepção drummondiana acerca da precariedade do poético.<br>The purpose of this research is to show the utopic nature of A Rosa do Povo, exploring some of the tensions that involve the development process of the liric subject in which among others I would highlight: the projection of the public space in poems that last long to make possible a multiplicity of voices of colective, in face of the uncompromissed autonomy of the poetic subject; the acqward relationship between liric and society, in face of the social politcs needs of the 1940 forties. These tensions are understood, over the concept of the utopic society, that allows us to verify, in each of the researched poem, a specific poetic message, at the same time critic and full of hope. Even understood as an autonom fragment, each one of the poem gather in the whole of the book, represented by the \"rose\". This image interpretation, that come over all long the book, condense the tematic multiplicity and allows the reader a sight of the whole of the book. We seek to demonstrate how this process of poetic construction ends up also highlighting the symbolic use of alchemical operations so that we can understand the work as a kind of \'alchemist utopia\', part of an uninterrupted process of materialization and deconstruction of the poem, that reflects the drummondianas conception of the precariousness of the poetic.

Denna uppsats ämnar undersöka, problematisera och diskutera användningen av färgenrosa på feministiska kommunikationsbyråers hemsidor genom en diskursanalys. Det försäven ett resonemang kring vad användningen av rosa i denna kontext har för följder fördiskursen om färgen rosa och/eller feminism. Uppsatsen ska bidra till att ifrågasättanormer och strukturer inom en feministisk diskurs med avstamp i ett normkritisktperspektiv. Övriga teorier som underbygger analysen är bland annat Stuart Halls teorierom representation, Gillian Roses diskursteori, samt Yvonne Hirdmans resonemang omgenus. Resultatet redogör för en mångfacetterad tolkning av färgen, samt attanvändningen av färgen rosa blir en symbol för kommunikationsbyråernas feministiskaställningstagande. Användningen både upprätthåller och bryter normer om femininitetgenom att färgen blir en motsättning till maskulinitet.

Nossa tese é verificar se esse tipo de estudo permite confirmar ou complementar intuições derivadas de leituras convencionais e, além disso, oferecer novos elementos textuais e estilísticos que nem sempre estão explícitos no texto. Para isso, privilegiaremos três estudos rosianos: Signo e sentimento (SPERBER, 1982) sobre a organização da linguagem de Rosa; O insólito em Guimarães Rosa e Borges (COVIZZI,1978), a qual propõe uma linha cronológica de expressão e explicação da obra rosiana; João Guimarães Rosa: travessia literária, (DANIEL, 1968), que afirma haver uma separação do léxico rosiano em duas fases: uma rural e outra urbana. A ferramenta estatística adotada foi o programa Hyperbase, de Étienne Brunet. Para os procedimentos de análises, trabalhamos com duas bases, uma com a cronologia de produção de escrita das obras e outra seguindo a cronologia de primeira publicação das obras, que foram respeitadas a fim de viabilizar a verificação da evolução e do crescimento do vocabulário do escritor. Levantamos muitas características do léxico rosiano, dentre elas verificamos que mais da metade de seu vocabulário não se repete; e que as obras de caráter sertanejo apresentam vocabulário menos diversificado. Por fim, veremos como Guimarães Rosa, ao final de sua carreira literária, tratou mais do seu material linguístico.<br><br>Résumé : Cette thèse s'occupera de l'oeuvre littéraire de João Guimarães Rosa à partir de la stylométrie, ayant pour objectif la recherche de caractéristiques du style de l'auteur qui puissent être identifiées par moyen d'outils informatisés d'analyse statistique. Notre thèse consiste à verifier si ce type d'étude permet de confirmer ou d'enrichir des intuitions résultantes de lectures conventionnelles et aussi à offrir de nouveaux éléments textuels et stylistiques qui ne sont pas toujours explicites dans le texte. Pour cela, on privilégiera trois études sur l'écrivain : Signo e sentimento (SPERBER, 1982), texte sur l'organisation du langage de Rosa ; O insólito em Guimarães Rosa e Borges (COVIZZI, 1978), qui propose une frise chronologique de l'expression et explication de l'oeuvre de Rosa ; João Guimarães Rosa, travessia literária, (DANIEL, 1968), selon laquelle il y a deux phases concernant le lexique de l'écrivain : l'une rurale et l'autre urbaine. L'outil statistique adopté a été le logiciel Hyperbase, d'Étienne Brunet. Pour le procédés d'analyse, on a travaillé avec deux bases, à savoir, l'une qui contenait la chronologie de production d'écriture des oeuvres ; l'autre, la chronologie de la première publication des oeuvres, considérée dans ce travail afin de rendre possible une investigation effective de l'évolution et de l'expansion du lexique de l'auteur. Parmi la grande quantité de donnéés recuillies, on a pu constater que plus de la moitié de son lexique ne se répète pas. En outre, les oeuvres "sertanejas" présentent moins de variations lexicales. Abstract:
Rosa montezumae (Humb. & Bonpl.), es una especie naturalizada cuyas poblaciones han mermado drásticamente, atribuido a cambios del uso del suelo y presión por presencia de poblaciones de plantas invasivas. El objetivo de esta investigación fue evaluar el enraizamiento de estacas de R. montezumae para su aprovechamiento como portainjerto. La investigación se llevó a cabo en los invernaderos del Centro Universitario Tenancingo de la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México. De tallos de la especie de interés y dos testigos, R. hybrida cultivar “Natal Briar” y R. indica (tratamientos), se emplearon estacas de 16 cm de longitud y de 0.8 cm de grosor promedio, con tres yemas, los cuales se evaluaron en cuatro experimentos independientes con variación en el sustrato de enraizamiento. Se hicieron dos experimentos preliminares definidos como Experimento Preliminar 1 (EP1) y Experimento Preliminar 2 (EP2) y dos formales definidos como Experimento 1 (E1) y Experimento 2 (E2). El EP1 incluyó arena fina azul de construcción y el EP2 suelo de la región y composta en relación 2:1 (v/v), con estacas pretratadas con baja temperatura (4 °C) durante 30 días. El E1 incluyó también suelo de la región y composta en relación 2:1 (v/v) pero con estacas sin tratamiento por frío; mientras que el E2 fue de una mezcla tierra de monte, turba y agrolita en una relación 1:1:1 (v/v), previamente analizado a pH, conductividad eléctrica, porosidad y retención de humedad. Se utilizaron 200 estacas para los tratamientos preliminares (100 por cada tratamiento) siendo cada estaca la unidad experimental. Para E1 y E2 las estacas se establecieron en un diseño experimental de bloques completos al azar con cinco repeticiones, la unidad experimental fue una planta. Por tratamiento se tuvieron 20 estacas. Las condiciones ambientales promedio en invernadero para todos los experimentos fueron temperatura de 24 ºC y humedad relativa de 68 % (. Se evaluaron las variables porcentaje de callo a las cuatro semanas (28 días), enraizamiento a los 30 días y longitud de brote apical a los 30 días. Los resultados obtenidos en los tratamientos, el primero mostró una emisión de brote de yema apical de un 80 % del total de estacas durante los primeros 15 días, después de ese tiempo manifestaron amarillamiento y muerte, tan solo 23 estacas sobrevivieron de las cuales hubo emisión de callo y raíz alcanzando una longitud promedio de 0.7 cm el tiempo de vida de este material vegetativo fue de 45 días, mientras que el tratamiento con pre enfriamiento a 4 °C se obtuvo el encallamiento del 60 % de las estacas durante los primeros ocho días, que paralelamente se oxidaron. Tan solo el 8 % de las estacas sometidas al tratamiento tuvieron un desarrollo promedio de 40 % de callo, así mismo, la longitud de raíz alcanzada fue de 3.5 cm y yema apical de 1.7 cm, sobreviviendo tan solo 15 días después de establecidas bajo condiciones de invernadero. Los experimentos indicaron diferencias significativas (p=0.05) entre especies en formación de callo y enraizamiento, denotándose retraso o no emisión de brote en R. montezumae en ambos experimentos, durante el registro de las variables evaluadas del primer experimento se notó un decrecimiento donde finalmente los porcentajes de sobrevivencia fueron para R. hybryda “Natal Briar” de 50 %, R. indica 22 % y R. montezumae 1 %, en comparación del segundo experimento que desencadenaron mortandad de estacas en un 75 %, contrario a los testigos “Natal Briar” y R. indica que presentaron mortandad de 6 y 27 % respectivamente. Las estacas sobrevivientes de R. montezumae se llevaron a injerto con rosa comercial para evaluación de calidad de tallo floral. La especie con mayor porcentaje de prendimiento fue R. indica, aunque en R. hybrida “Natal Briar” se observó el crecimiento por debajo de R. indica. Contrariamente R. montezumae no tuvo prendimiento de la yema injertada. El resultado en los testigos no fue acorde a lo observado en el campo, donde el porcentaje de prendimiento está por arriba del 90 %. Mientras que en R. montezumae, no se encuentran registros ya que es una especie silvestre y estos son los primeros resultados. Con ello se concluye que la especie R. montezumae tiene dificultades en la reproducción asexual, lo cual no sería de utilidad al productor. Se planea un estudio fisiológico-bioquímico de la planta que permitan mejorar su propagación.
