Abstract:
En Señor que no conoce la luna, el escritor colombiano Evelio Rosero Diago configura dos mundos enfrentados en una relación de poder: los dominantes (sociedad vestida) y los dominados (comunidad des¬nuda). El héroe -un desnudo lúcido- ante la degradación del mundo en el que habita decide refugiarse dentro de un armario. Desde este espacio asume una actitud de escepticismo frente a la realidad circundante: un mundo moderno en el que se percibe el fracaso del Proyecto Ilustrado, siendo imposible la construcción de un individuo autónomo, libre y feliz. En un intento por dilucidar la toma de posición asumida por Rosero Diago en Señor que no conoce la luna, en el presente artículo se efectúa el análisis de los niveles de producción de sentido presentes en la novela. Para ello, se recurrirá a la noción de toma de posición y de puesta en forma, conceptos fundamentales dentro de la propuesta sociológica de Pierre Bourdieu, relacionada con la génesis de la obra literaria.

Dentro del listado de nuevas novelas históricas colombianas, se publica a comienzos del año 2012 la novela La carroza de Bolívar de Evelio Rosero Diago, escritor de ascendencia nariñense, obra que revela en el sur la compleja realidad de la sociedad colombiana en permanente crisis debido a su fundación a deshora, construida sobre una enorme mentira, la del Bolívar gran militar preocupado por la moralidad pública, y cuyo nefasto ejemplo dado por el “mal llamado Libertador” fundó lo que sería con el tiempo la cultura política colombiana, según la afirmación que hace el doctor Justo Pastor Proceso López, afamado ginecólogo de la ciudad de Pasto, lugar donde se desarrollan los acontecimientos en plena fiesta de carnaval de Blancos y Negros entre el 28 de diciembre de 1966 y hasta el 6 de enero del 67, personaje éste que pretende desarrollar en su vida, por una parte, un proyecto político denunciando, a la manera de Sañudo con sus Estudios sobre la vida de Bolívar, las mentiras dichas sobre Bolívar, y para lo cual patrocinará una carroza con su figura para recordar a la gente del sur su historia pasada, además de su otro proyecto consistente en conseguir el amor de su mujer y el cariño de sus hijas, proyectos que se desarrollarán paralelamente en la historia de la novela, y que terminarán con el asesinato del médico por parte de una célula del ejército de liberación nacional que, a través de su accionar contradictorio, busca limpiar la honra de Bolívar, supuestamente difamada por el protagonista. La visión carnavalizada del mundo que ofrece el texto y gracias a la cual se permiten algunas libertades que posibilitarán el desarrollo de los proyectos de vida del médico, revelarán la condición de una sociedad anómica generalizada, esto es la existencia de un Estado anómico como lo es el colombiano y, por supuesto, la sociedad del sur del país, regida por una normatividad desprestigiada que contribuye a su desinstitucionalización, y cuyas causas se remontan a los orígenes mismos de fundación de la patria y ante lo cual, recordando el pasado de la región y el cronotopo idílico en el que moraban sus habitantes, se busca recobrar lo perdido, esto es, una forma de vida armoniosa y justa libre de vejámenes y mentiras. Rosero adopta una posición ideológica suprapartidista en su evaluación de la realidad colombiana lo que le permite llevar a cabo su propuesta a través de la verdad de revelación propia del trabajo estético.

El objetivo del presente trabajo parte de la pregunta ¿cómo a través de la ficción se presenta a un personaje de la historia (Simón Bolívar) como un héroe real y desvanecer el concepto del héroe intachable?, creando una reflexión sobre las situaciones que se presentan en la realidad a la cual se pertenece; para el desarrollo del trabajo se toman bases teóricas desde: Nueva novela histórica, ficción-realidad, héroe y la obra la carroza de Bolívar del escritor colombiano Evelio Rosero Diago. La novela instiga a descubrir la otra faceta de Bolívar y desvanecer la concepción tradicional de héroe. <p>Esta reflexión sobre la memoria del dolor se realiza con base en la particular propuesta narrativa y ficcional de la obra <em>La carroza de Bolívar</em> del escritor Evelio José Rosero Diago, Se pretende deconstruir al sujeto mítico, encarnado en el aparente héroe latinoamericano Simón Bolívar; desde una lectura diferente de la oficial se traen al presente hechos dramáticos ocurridos en el sur de Colombia durante el siglo XIX: la batalla de Bomboná y la llamada Navidad Negra. Así mismo, se visibiliza la reconstrucción del sujeto colectivo, desde la visión irónica de los descendientes de las víctimas, puesta de manifiesto en la fiesta de Blancos y Negros.</p><p>Más allá de la recreación e interpretación histórica, se invita a cuestionar la manipulación de un sujeto que conjuga una serie de intereses y juegos de poder. Para desentrañar lo oculto y para que aflore una nueva conciencia vital, la lectura y la estrategia deconstructivista, ayudan a resaltar la importancia que representa para la salud del pueblo, no sólo la visión crítica de su memoria sino también, la desestructuración de la mentira. En la novela la invención de lo carnavalesco es el acontecimiento que permite depurar odios y crear una conciencia reconciliada de la vida; así el autor logra demostrar la grandeza de un pueblo, capaz de sanar heridas físicas y culturales a través del no olvido y la ironía dionisiaca.</p>

Abstract:
This thesis examines the ways in which the diegetic spaces of the manses and convents as portrayed in two Colombian novels, Casablanca la bella (2013) by Fernando Vallejo and En el lejero (2007) by Evelio Rosero Diago serve as scenarios for the representation of the violences that pervade contemporary Colombian society. It shines a light on the ways in which these violences assault the senses and leave their mark on individuals and collectivities. It follows the novels in their wanderings through the topohistoric and phenomenological milestones of the interminable Colombian civil war—The 'Violencia' and its sequels. It explores how these violences and the corollary traumas and affects generated by them interact with these spaces and their toposociohistoric context to generate and reconstitute collective memories. Finally, it focuses on how the narrative spaces and the memories they foster and generate may feed the process of re-construction or re-formulation of a stable national identity for contemporary Colombians.

Resumo: A inclusão escolar de estudantes com deficiência e outras necessidades educacionais especiais é um movimento relativamente recente que emergiu com notável força nas últimas décadas e que vem sendo objeto de bastante controvérsia, debate e polêmica por parte de pesquisadores, acadêmicos e demais especialistas no universo educacional contemporâneo. Na atualidade, evidencia-se certo avanço na parte legislativa das políticas públicas em educação inclusiva, as quais têm possibilitado a presença destes estudantes nas salas de aula, acarretando um aumento significativo do número de matrículas de crianças e adolescentes, com destaque na área da deficiência intelectual. Porém, apesar dos avanços no campo das políticas e demais ações inclusivas, as práticas pedagógicas ainda são pouco disseminadas e estudadas. Frente a essas considerações, a presente pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar a inclusão de estudantes com deficiência intelectual, a partir das concepções e práticas pedagógicas desenvolvidas nos processos de ensino e aprendizagem na educação básica primária de duas escolas públicas de uma cidade da Colômbia. O estudo se caracterizou como uma pesquisa qualitativa de caráter descritivo. Para isto, foram selecionados cinco estudantes que se encontravam matriculados na educação básica primária, suas respectivas professoras e os profissionais de apoio de cada escola. Em relação aos instrumentos de coleta de dados utilizados, optou-se pelo roteiro sistematizado de observação, o diário de campo, o roteiro de entrevista semiestruturada e a análise documental. O referencial teórico apoiou-se na Teoria Histórico-Cultural e especificamente nos aportes de Vigotski. Abstract: The school inclusion of students with disabilities and other special educational needs is a relatively new movement that emerged with remarkable strength in recent decades and that has been the subject of enough controversy, debate and polemic by researchers, academics and other experts in the contemporary educational universe. Currently, there is evidence of some progress in the legislative part of public policies on inclusive education, which has allowed the presence of these students in classrooms, resulting in a significant increase in the number of enrollments of children and adolescents, especially in the field of intellectual disabilities. However, despite advances in the field of inclusive policies and other actions, the pedagogical practices are still not enough disseminated and studied. Given these considerations, the present study aimed to analyze the inclusion of students with intellectual disabilities, as of pedagogical conceptions and practices developed in the processes of teaching and learning in primary basic education in two public schools in a city of Colombia. The study was characterized as a qualitative research of descriptive character. For this, we selected five students who were enrolled in primary basic education, their respective teachers and supporting professionals of each school. Regarding the data collection instruments used, we opted for the systematic observation script, the field diary, the semi-structured interviews and documentary analysis. The theoretical framework supported in the Historic-Cultural Theory and specifically in Vygotsky's contributions. Abstract:
Countess Urraca Lope de Haro was the daughter of the noble Lord Diego Lope de Haro, friend and advisor to King Alfonso VIII of Castilla-León and granddaughter of Lord Lope Díaz de Haro and Lady Aldonza Ruiz de Castro, aristocratic courtiers as well as popular monastic patrons. As a young and wealthy widow, Countess Urraca took monastic vows at the Cistercian nunnery of Santa María de Cañas founded by her grandparents. Within a short time of uniting herself to this monastery, she was chosen as its fourth abbess in 1225, a position she held for thirty-seven years until her death in 1262. Following the tradition of monastic patronage established by her noble family members, Countess Urraca expanded the monastery's small real estate holdings, oversaw extensive building projects to create permanent structures for the nunnery, and patronized artistic projects including statuettes of the Virgin Mary and St. Peter in addition to her own decorative stone sarcophagus during her term as abbess. This thesis examines the artistic decoration and architectural patronage of this powerful woman and the influences she incorporated into the monastic structures at Cañas as she oversaw their construction. In dating the original buildings of the monastery at Cañas to the period of Countess Urraca's leadership, the predominant architectural features and decorative details of female Cistercian foundations in northern Spain are discussed. Comparisons with additional thirteenth-century Cistercian monasteries from the same region in northern Spain are offered to demonstrate the artistic connections with the structures Countess Urraca patronized. In addition, this thesis examines Countess Urraca's obvious devotion to the Virgin Mary and St. Peter by considering the medieval monastic world in which she lived and the strong emphasis the Cistercian Order placed on such worship practices. The potent spiritual connections Countess Urraca made by commissioning images of essential, holy intercessors testifies to her devotion to them and the powerful salvatory role she herself played in the lives of the nuns for whom she was responsible. As a nun and abbess, Countess Urraca was urged to emulate Mary's mothering, nurturing qualities, and, as she did so was simultaneously empowered by the Virgin's heavenly authority as administrator of mercy. Indeed, through studying her art it is clear that she saw herself as an intercessor on behalf of the nuns for whom she was responsible. Furthermore, discussion of the imagery displayed on Countess Urraca's decorative stone sarcophagus demonstrates not only a similar message of salvation through intercessors such as Peter and Mary, but also testifies of Abbess Urraca's aristocratic lineage. Through this artistic commission, the Abbess creates another direct, personal link between herself and the Virgin by including the symbol of the rosary throughout the iconography of her tomb. Such a symbol represents her devotion to Mary as Queen of Heaven and simultaneously empowers Countess Urraca as an intercessor herself. All of these architectural and artistic commissions confirm that she was a powerful woman who wielded a great deal of influence.

Nigel S. Simpkins, now at the University of Birmingham, found (Chem. Commun. 2008, 5390) that the prochiral cyclopropane amide 1 could be deprotonated to give, after alkylation, the substituted cyclopropane 3 with high enanantio- and diastereocontrol. In the course of a synthesis of (+)-Lineatin, Ramon Alibés of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona optimized (J. Org. Chem. 2008, 73, 5944) the photochemical cycloaddition of 4 and 5 to give, after reductive dechlorination, the cyclobutene 6. In a related reaction, José L. García Ruano and M. Rosario Martín of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid observed (J. Org. Chem. 2008, 73, 9366) that the cycloaddition of 8 to 7 proceeded with high regio- and diastereocontrol, to give the cyclopentene 9. Joseph M. Ready of UT Southwestern in Dallas developed (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2008, 47, 7068) a powerful new cyclopentannulation, condensing the cyclopropane derived from the addition of 11 to 10 with the protected ynolate 12 to give 13, in the presence of a modified Lewis acid catalyst. Chun-Chen Liao of the National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu described (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2008, 47, 7325) the oxidative ring contraction of the o-alkoxy phenol 14 to the cyclopentenone 15. Stéphane Quideau of the Université de Bordeaux reported (Organic Lett. 2008, 10, 5211) a related ring contraction. We uncovered (J. Org. Chem. 2008, 73, 9479) a simple protocol for the in situ conversion of an ω-alkenyl ketone such as 16 to the corresponding diazo compound, leading, via dipolar cycloaddition, to the adduct 17. Ulrich Zutter of Roche Basel described (J. Org. Chem. 2008 , 73, 4895), in a synthesis of Tamiflu, the hydrogenation of 19 to give the cyclohexane with all-cis diastereocontrol. Selective removal of the methyl ethers with trimethylsilyl iodide set the stage for enzymatic ester hydrolysis, delivering 20 in high ee.

Abstract:
One of the most powerful of alkene transformations is enantioselective epoxidation. Tsutomu Katsuki of Kyushu University has developed (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2007, 46, 4559) a Ti catalyst that with H2O2, selectively epoxidized terminal alkenes with high ee. The same catalyst converted a Z 2-alkene such as 3 into the epoxide. This is significant, because such epoxides are opened with nucleophiles selectively at the less congested center. Novel procedures for alkene functionalization have been put forward. Philippe Renaud of the University of Berne has developed (Adv. Synth. Cat. 2008, 350, 1163) a simple protocol for terminal halogenation, based on catalyzed addition of catecholborane, followed by free radical substitution. Sulfides and selenides were also prepared. H. Zoghlami of the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis has devised (Tetrahedron Lett. 2007, 48, 5645) an oxidative sulfinylation, converting a terminal alkene 7 to the sulfide 8. M. Christina White of the University of Illinois (J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2008, 130, 3316) and Guosheng Liu of the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2008, 47, 4733) independently developed Pd catalysts for the oxidation of a terminal alkene 9 to the terminal allylic amine 10. Shannon S. Stahl of the University of Wisconsin-Madison has established (Organic Lett. 2007, 9, 4331) conditions for the complementary transformation of a terminal alkene 11 to the enamide 12. Douglas B. Grotjahn of San Diego State University has optimized (J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2007, 129, 9592) Ru-catalyzed alkene (“zipper”) migration, effecting the conversion of 13 to 14 and of 15 to 16 . There have been several new observations on alkene cleavage. Marcus A. Tius of the University of Hawaii and Bakthan Singaram of the University of California, Santa Cruz have found (Tetrahedron Lett. 2008, 49, 2764) that epoxides such as 17 are cleaved directly by NaIO4, providing a simple alternative to ozonolysis. Rolando A. Spanevello of the Universidad Nacional de Rosario has extended (Tetrahedron 2007, 63, 11410) unsymmetrical ozonolysis to highly substituted norbornene derivatives such as 19, observing 20 as the only product. Patrick H. Dussault of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln has established (J. Org. Chem. 2008, 73, 4688) that alkene ozonolysis in wet acetone delivered the ketone or aldehyde directly, without reductive workup.
