Reaction of these ligands with [PtCI(NCIBu)2] or [PdCh(NCPh)2] gave square planar trans-[MCh(PhobPR)2] (M = Pt, Pd) complexes. Variable temperature 31p {H} NMR studies on the trans-[MC12(PhobPRh)2] complexes revealed restricted rotation about the M-P bond. It is experimentally well-known that high anisotropy of turbulent flow field, which results from the complex shear and rotation effect, is dominant inside tip leakage vortex (TLV). With all this fact, the greater part of the numerical studies to deal with TLV have used an isotropic eddy viscosity model (EVM), and their predictions showed some disagreement with the measurement data. The main objective of the present study is to show the superior ability of the Reynolds stress model (RSM), which can naturally consider the effect of system rotation on turbulence via the rotational production term

Abstract:
A small horizontal axis wind turbine rotor was designed and tested with aerodynamically efficient, economical and easy to manufacture blades. Basic blade aerodynamic analysis was conducted using commercially available software. The blade span was constrained such that the complete wind turbine can be rooftop mountable with the envisioned wind turbine height of around 8 m. The blade was designed without any taper or twist to comply with the low cost and ease of manufacturing requirements. The aerodynamic analysis suggested laminar flow airfoils to be the most efficient airfoils for such use. Us

Abstract:
Theoretically considering velocities greater than c implies considering an observer’s past and extends the overall analysis into the complex plane. By using a series of rotations by i in the complex plane, one can create a four-lobed structure of “instants of time,” which together with considering matter and antimatter in the lobes and the +/- sense of the rotation, leads to a Higgs field representation of space and time. A 10x10 metric is developed for this system as well as a generalized spacetime interval. It is also shown that the Friedmann Equations are consistent with our “Higgs Cosmolog

Abstract:
The interaction of glycine zwitterion and water is calculated using ab initio method with minimized GLO basis set. The first hydration shell of glycine zwitterion is predicted to compose of five water molecules. The influence of the first hydration to the internal rotation of glycine zwitterion is studied and the energy optimized pathway is compared with that of isolated molecule. The investigation of glycine zwitterion-Na[superscript +] complex in water provides that the two coordinated water of aquo complex of Na[superscript +] are dehydrated and replaced by glycine zwitterion. Invasive exotic plant (IEP) species are a significant threat to natural ecosystem integrity and biodiversity, and controlling them is a high priority for the National Park Service. The Northern Colorado Plateau Network (NCPN) selected the early detection of IEPs as one of 11 monitoring protocols to be implemented as part of its long-term monitoring program. We also calculated a patch management index (PMI) to quantify the extent and density of invasive patches into a single value that helps identify the scale of the problem. Park managers can use this tool to help prioritize IEP treatment. At

Invasive exotic plant (IEP) species are among the biggest threats to natural ecosystem integrity and biodiversity, and their control is a high priority for the National Park Service. The Northern Colorado Plateau Network (NCPN) selected early detection of IEPs as one of the 11 long-term monitoring protocols. This report summarizes work completed during the 2024 field season at Capitol Reef National Park. On May 24, 2024, we detected 102 patches of four priority IEP species along 13.5 km of Cathedral Valley Road. We observed more patches of tamarisk IEPs than in previous years. This increase ma
